Tiki Hut Boats of NH offers a 90 minute public tour, or a two hour private tour! The boats hold up to ten people each. This year we will be offering mid week specials, check out the specials page on our website, www.tikihutboatsofnh.com Tours are BYOB, feel free to bring snacks as well! The boats will have coolers filled with ice, and you can purchase your beer and wine right at the General Store on the Pier at Winnipesaukee. Once you are done, you can walk a few short steps to carry all your cruise supplies to the boat. “SO MUCH FUN”!!

This was my 3rd time on this tiki ride !! Last 2 years have gone on with my hubby n on July 15th I took my son for his 32nd bday !!!! You get to bring your own beer/wine, u can sync ur music with the boats blue tooth!!! In fact I had UB40 music/Caribbean going n a couple were even dancing !!!! Our captain Todd was so much fun, he let u drive the tiki for a bit, take ur pics holding the steering wheel n let u take a quick dip in the lake if u wanted too ….The boat takes off out of Weirs n it’s 90 min n wish it was longer as it’s so much fun!!! Again thank u Captain Todd n will ask for u again!!!!!

We went out on the 90-Minute Express Tiki Hut Cruise the most popular! | $45pp Midweek / $55pp Weekends -it's a Public cruise so others are on it unless you have 10 then you can have the whole raft. You can bring your own beer or wine on board. You can play music on the bluetooth. We went on a Monday at 4:00PM, 4 of us celebrating a 60th birthday, on the boat was another party of 4 celebrating a 40th birthday along with a young couple. Everyone got along great. We had Captain Kevin he was awesome. We're going to book it in advance for next year we loved it so much. Definitely need to book early, another suggestion is go during the week when the lake is not so crowded. There are other types of trips if you look on their website. * NO bathroom on board. This is SOOOOO FUN!

As the largest lake in the state, Lake Winnipesaukee offers tons of options for recreation. This lake has been a popular vacation destination for decades and it’s easy to see why. With all there is to do like camping, relaxing and swimming at a sandy beach, boating, fishing, and more, families come back year after year creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Which beach in New Hampshire has the most pristine sand?

If you want to visit a beach with pristine, soft sand at a beach that doesn't get as crowded as some of the other beaches in the state, head to Rye. Here you will find Jenness State Beach , which does get a bit crowded in the summer but you will still find a spot on the sand to spend the day. Kids will enjoy splashing in the water and building sandcastles with the perfect sand here. There is also a bathhouse and plenty of parking in the area and a place nearby to grab something to eat. 

Where can I camp on the beach in New Hampshire?

Although there are oceanside beaches in the Granite State, we can’t forget that the lakes and rivers also have stretches of sand. Along some of the lake and river shorelines, people are allowed to camp. On the beach along the river at Ellacoya State Park in Gilford, visitors are allowed to camp right on the sand and feel completely in touch with nature. As for lakeside camping, you can read about 8 Lakeside Campgrounds In New Hampshire including Lake Ivanhoe, Swanzey Lake, and Loon Lake. There’s nothing quite as nice as camping right on the water!

No visit to Weirs Beach would be complete without an excursion out onto Lake Winnipesaukee. From Weirs Beach, even with its vast view, you are only seeing a small part of a huge Lake. In the center of the Weirs Beach boardwalk, you’ll see a train station where tickets can be purchased for the cruise boat the M/S Mount Washington , the US Mailboat M/V Sophie C. , and the newest addition to the CruiseNH fleet, the M/V Winnipesaukee Spirit .There are morning, afternoon, and evening cruises. There are 1 hour, 2 hour, and 3 hour cruises. There are dinner, dance, sunset, family, foliage and fireworks cruises, so there’s really no excuse for not getting out onto the lake.

Since 2020, Tiki Hut Boats of NH (603) 396-2380 has been conveniently located at the Winnipesaukee Pier in Weirs Beach. The Tiki Hut boats are available for 90 minute express cruises, 2-hour private charters, and a Reggae night on Wednesdays.

The Doris E., sister boat to the Sophie C., has been out of commission for a few years.

HISTORICAL CRUISE SHIPS

Many other Weirs Beach boat tour services have come and gone over the years. The Foxy was one of the better known of these defunct services.

In 1849, the original cruise boat in Weirs Beach, the Lady of the Lake, began services. The 1890 photo below shows an empty Lady approaching the main wharf at Weirs Beach to pick up waiting passengers. Click here to see a collection of Lady of the Lake (1849-1893) images.

This old linen postcard was postmarked in 1960. It shows the Uncle Sam tied up at the dock, the Sophie C. on its way out, and the Mount on its way in.

Tiki Hut Boats of NH was formed in 2017. Our first thought was to sell the boats, but you spoke and we listened, so 2018 was our first year of both public and private charters!

You can choose to experience a 90 minute public cruise and bring your friends, or meet some new friends! We will also offer a two hour private charter.

Our tiki boats are a thatch-covered floating tiki boat with bar and bench seating. Our vessels are perfect for your next trip out on the water. Just book your tickets, get your group, climb aboard and drift away with us!

When you book a tour with us, you will be chartered around the water for 75 minutes on a tour. Enjoy a ride around the water while you sip on your favorite drink and listen to your favorite music!

From start to finish it was great. Our captain and his lovely first mate were so accommodating and sweet...and fun! We will be back soon!

It started with a concept we loved...

Floating tiki boats have taken over several lakes and waterways in recent years! Early on, our team was always very interested in getting 'on board' with the concept, and so we did. Most people in water towns and cities are familiar with the 'party on the water' and the adventure it brings visiting patrons. One of our owners decide to have a tiki made for personal enjoyment. He soon realized the roar and attention this was getting all over the lake. Knowing people were eager to experience this new style of boat chartering, the business was born.

Then, we started moving...

Our flagship location is on Lake George in upstate New York. Our first boats were six passenger octagon boats. Seeing immediate success our first season on the water, we were quickly on our way to building another boat to accomodate the stampede of people looking to get a tour. Within a couple seasons, we decided to design and build a larger tiki boat, one that can hold 12-14 people instead of hosting a tour for just 6. This was quite a game-changer for our business! It allowed us to attract all styles and sizes of gatherings.

And here we are now...

We have learned that by doubling the capacity of patrons we can invite on for a tour, our business has seen quite an up-kick in versatility. Bachelor/bachelorette events, birthday parties, corporate affairs, and so many more groups of people are looking to get away, get out on the water and have a great time! We are located in the historic city of Salem, Ma. We offer 90-minute cruise's voyaging through Salem Harbor. We are proud to say that we were the First Tiki Boat to operate in the Massachusetts, Boston, North Shore region. We have a full bar and a bathroom on board. Come relax, and enjoy a delicious cocktail and listen to some music that will transport you to your favorite Caribbean vacation spot. We run from May 4th through October 31ST. Our capacity for all cruises is six passengers maximum so you will never feel cramped or overwhelmed with a crowded boat. We offer several different cruises this season with tickets starting at $50 per person. All passengers must be 21+.

90 MINUTE HARBOR CRUISES

See Salem Harbor from a different perspective! Your experience with us will last approximately 90 minutes from when we greet you at the Wharf until we arrive back at the dock after our cruise. There will be a brief Coast Guard required safety briefing before we get underway. Please have each passenger read and sign the printable release form found on our home page. Forms will be collected before boarding. Please be on time. Delays will cut into your experience.

Tiki Hut Boats will not wait for late passengers if you do not book all six seats, and tickets will not be refunded.

New Hampshire is famous for its picturesque lakes and mountains, and Squam Lake is a gem among many. See its amazingly clear water, rocky shores, celebrated islands, historic homes, scenic mountain views, and remarkable wildlife.

If you are looking for a memorable experience, choose from one of our 90-minute guided tours on beautiful Squam Lake.

Cruise Rates

Cruises are 90 minutes long and on canopied pontoon boats. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your cruise departure time. New Hampshire State law requires youth ages 12 and under to wear a life jacket on board.

Advance reservations are required.

Space on all cruises is limited. Everyone must make advance reservations and payment. We do not hold seats or maintain waiting lists.

Cancellations:

Cruises may be cancelled if there are fewer than four passengers registered. Cruises may be cancelled at any time due to weather, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances. If we cancel a cruise we will contact passengers to reschedule on another date or to issue a full refund. If passengers must cancel, please call the Science Center at 603-968-7194 x 7 to reschedule or request a full refund. Passengers must cancel at least 90 minutes before the start of the cruise to receive a refund.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is located on Route 113 in Holderness, NH. Park in Science Center parking lots and follow the walking path across Route 113 to Lake Cruise Headquarters. Please arrive 15 minutes before your cruise departure time. Find us on Google Maps

Be Prepared:

Please arrive for your lake cruise with appropriate clothing for current weather conditions and remember that it is often cooler on the water. We recommend layers with rain/wind jackets, hats, and gloves if needed.
