Brooks RV Park is the safest RV Park in the Louisville area. It is beautifully landscaped with all full hook-up RV sites,  located just 1.8 miles from I-65, and we have New Wi-Fi! We are the only RV Park in Louisville Kentucky with creek front and concrete pad sites. We are conveniently and centrally located for easy access to all Louisville, KY has to offer yet far enough away from the Freeway so there is no road noise. We love our long term RV guests! We are open all year long, and we welcome full timers to come stay with us! Our application process is Free, so click on the Long Term Application link above and become part of our campground full of honest good people. There are 2 nice golf courses within 3 miles. We are located near shopping, restaurants, Churchill Downs, Downtown Louisville, the Bourbon Distillery Trail, and many other attractions.

Daily rates for full hookup sites start at $40 a night. Weekly rates start at $240, and monthly rates start at $445. We offer preferred creek front sites, over-sized sites, pull through sites, concrete pad sites, and hill side sites. All sites include 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. There is a dumpster next to lot 62. Lawn care is provided. There are security cameras in our beautiful and very safe park. We have 50 to 30 amp adapters for sale on site. The Park’s Wi-Fi network name and password is in the Reservation Confirmation email guests receive after booking a site. Come and enjoy the beautiful new landscaping in this peaceful RV Park with a creek. The park has paved roads, and this is a big rig park that can handle coaches as large as 50 feet. Because we are conveniently located in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, please know there is a nearby train track, and we are only 8 miles south of the Louisville International airport. Thankfully there is no freeway noise, which can be a very loud constant noise. We do not have bathrooms or a shower house, or a pool, but we do have a credit card laundry facilities on site and a Wi-Fi network.

We strive to offer excellent customer service, so please feel free to call if you have any issues! We have an on-site Assistant Manager, Annie who is located on Lot 12A, and you can reach her after you arrive by calling (502) 276-6090 or look for Annie out and about in the park usually in her red monster 4×4 truck.

Elkhorn Creek RV Park has teamed up with Kentucky Bourbon Boys to offer our guests a private tour that includes tours and tastings of some of the most famous Bourbon Distilleries along the Bourbon Trail. The tours include Woodford Distillery and a barrel tasting at Whiskey Thief Distillery, and a tasting and shopping at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The guide/driver will fill you in on the facts and lore of the area. The tour includes lunch at favorite local restaurant Limewater, snacks, and transportation in a comfortable van.   This tour is offered every other Wednesday from May through October.

The two forks of central Kentucky’s Elkhorn Creek join at Elkhorn Creek RV Park to form one of the state’s best-known streams for its beauty and fishing, canoeing and kayaking. From the Forks of Elkhorn to its end at the Kentucky River, Elkhorn Creek provides 17 miles of nature and adventure.

We have an assortment of well-maintained sites for you to choose from that include full hook up sites, electric and water only sites, a few pull-thrus for easy access. and free Wi-Fi throughout the park. Children can play on the playground or test their golfing skills with our Putt-Putt golf. 

One of the main reasons people love our property is our proximity to Elkhorn Creek and its activities. Some of our RV sites literally rest on the banks of the creek. This makes us an ideal location for people who love to kayak, canoe, fish and enjoy the sounds of the water.

"We loved our week at Elkhorn Creek RV Park! We have stayed in 5 campgrounds since mid August and Elkhorn is by far the best. We met several of the office staff as well as grounds keepers and ALL of them were so helpful and made several suggestions of things for us to see and do. Although we didn’t use it (too busy), the pool was large and clean, and the bathrooms are the best EVER!! Always clean, no matter what time of day I used them. Someone was always cleaning inside or outside or doing yard work most of the day. The sites were a little close, but all campers were friendly and respectful of others concerning noise, etc so it wasn’t a problem. We hated to leave, but needed to continue our adventure. We highly recommend and would definitely return!"

Winter announcements:, store, bath house and laundry facilities are closed until march 1st..

We have some sites open through March 1st but during freezing temperatures water hoses can not be hooked up. 1-15 have insulated water spickets and can be used with a heated hose. Any frozen pipes due to not following the freeze warnings will be subject to a charge for any damage.

“Very clean RV park”

The park was very clean and well maintained. There are several fast food restaurants and a Cracker Barrell within minutes of the park. Glasgow is about 15 minutes away and has all of the big stores We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

“Beautiful and Quiet”

Super nice park! Nicely landscaped and many trees giving each of the spaces a feel of privacy. All pull through spaces with nice grassy areas by each space. Spots all seem very level, ours was. The We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.
