Sexy sensational alfie boe..

Alfie Boe has an amazing voice and an amazing presence. He is stunning.

Best voice ever

Alfie Boe is on a par with Pavarotti. Incredible power and precision. And yes - better than Andrea Boccelli.

Alfie Boe in Las Vegas

Alfie Boe has one of the best voices in the world. His show is a masterclass in vocal power and control -- and he is super fun!!!!

Great show - lots of energy and a wide variety of music - opera, west end musicals, rock and roll……really enjoyed it

Absolutely Fabulous!!

Everything was wonderful about this upbeat show. Alfie was fantastic (as expected) and sang a wide variety of songs backed up by a terrific band and singers. A comfortable theater with professional staff. A great night out!!

Um...Wow! More Please!

America, y'all do not know what you are missing! Alfie Boe put on an amazing show at the Westgate in Las Vegas! His range is incredible. His energy is infectious. His voice is one of the best on the planet. On top of all of that, he's a wonderful, gracious, authentic human being. Give your ears the best gift they have ever received by going to see Alfie Boe in concert whenever and wherever you can. You will not be disappointed.

Great show! He never fails to be totally entertaining.

Song selection was wonderful, location great and the crowd so enjoyed the night.

Alfie Boe at the Westgate in Las Vegas

Alfie Boe was phenomenal at The Westgate on April 8th. His glorious voice has been honed to perfection by his years at the The Royal College of Music. He's a superlative and charming showman - from opera to musical theater to Elvis to Freddie Mercury to Elton John. He's a world-class performer.

He's the BEST

His voice is so wonderful, the amplification was overdone. Better backing singers this time, not so distracting. Give him more instrumentation so he can do a wider variety of his music. He sings everything so well. Let him show off some of the subtle nuances of his glorious voice.

I saw Alfie last year in Vegas and I was so excited he came back again. His show is so full of energy and excitement. His voice has such a range from Bring Him Home to Viva Las Vegas to Nessus Dorma. He had the audience on their feet singing and dancing. I sure hope he comes back soon. Such a fun mind blowing night.

Les Miserables of course is a favourite musical of anyone, an absolute classic, but to hear Alfie Boe sing Bring Him Home to a huge theatre full of fans as part of his performance was simply incredible. Boe’s voice is distinctive and one of those goose bump guaranteed voices, and he brought everyone around me to tears before the end of the first verse. Watching Boe perform a variety show blew me away, as he demonstrated the incredible versatility of his voice in one performance, from tenor to bass pieces.

As well as being one of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard perform, Boe is hilarious and great at interacting with his audience. From the start of the concert he was cracking jokes and asking everyone in the audience questions, and although it was a huge theatre, it felt really personal and intimate. Of course all of Boe’s recordings are incredible, but the raw emotion that he injects into his music is something that is massively heightened in live performance and brought a whole new level of comprehension to the songs.

When he performed the duet Come What May, he and Becky were joking before the song started, and they had a little giggle in the introduction and started again. I really liked this comedic aspect, as it demonstrated that the couple were really enjoying the show as well as performing an incredible song.

What can I say! This show was Alfie Boe at his finest. An intimate setting provided superb acoustics for his powerful voice that resonated round the whole room. All the favourites were on the repertoire. Bring Him Home from Les Miserables as always outstanding. Snow Patrol's "Run" absolutely phenomenal and finished with a magnificent a capella performance of Danny Boy, brought the house down

He was his usual humble, humorous, jovial self and took great delight in interacting with the audience. AMAZING SHOW AS ALWAYS.

Alfie Boe, Killian Donnelly, Michael Ball & Bradley Jaden to Lead LES MISERABLES Arena Tour

Initial Casting Announced & Tour Dates Set for the World Tour

pixeltracker

Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly will share the role of Jean Valjean and Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden will share the role of Javert in the UK, leading a cast and orchestra of over 65 in the forthcoming World Tour of LES MISÉRABLES THE ARENA SPECTACULAR opening at the SSE Arena Belfast on 19 September 2024. UK tour schedule below. Tickets are on sale via lesmis.com/worldtour . Visit the website to view the cast's scheduled performance dates, which are subject to change. Further casting to be announced soon.

Cameron Mackintosh said today “The spectacular world arena tour of the Les Misérables concert has been a dream of mine for many years. With Les Mis' 40th phenomenal year starting this October, there couldn't be a better time for it to happen. A dream concert deserves a dream cast and I couldn't be more thrilled to announce that the first UK leg of the tour, which opens in Belfast in September and is already more than two thirds sold out, will star Alfie Boe or Killian Donnelly as Jean Valjean and Michael Ball or Bradley Jaden as Javert, heading a cast and orchestra of over 65. Many other favourite Les Misérables performers, chosen from all over the world, will be announced in a few weeks' time. After the UK, the world tour will play many cities across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Korea, Japan and several other Asian cities before it returns to Europe and beyond. With the Les Misérables movie now being re-released in cinemas across the world in its completely remixed digital glory, sounding and looking better than ever, and with the London and North American productions still regularly breaking attendance records, Les Misérables is a true phenomenon – The People's Musical – and the only musical ever to be simultaneously a hit on stage, screen and in concert arenas. Boublil and Schönberg, Herbert Kretzmer and I owe our inspiration to the genius of Victor Hugo 's masterpiece.”

Boe will be splitting the part of Jean Valjean with Killian Donnelly, while Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden share the role of Javert for the UK leg of the tour.

The stars will be joined by a cast and orchestra of over 65 people for shows in Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester and Newcastle as part of Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular world tour.

Spanning over 15 countries, the tour will kick off this September with a limited UK run before carrying on to Luxembourg, Australia, Taiwan, Italy, South Korea and more.

Alfie kicked off 2022 filming BBC One’s new show ‘Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof’ the show followed Alfie along with 7 other celebrities as they give up their warm cozy lives to live in the Italian mountains in sub-zero conditions, facing a series of daunting cold challenges designed to push their minds and bodies to the limit all under the watchful eye of the global sensation Wim Hof AKA ‘The Ice Man’ who believes that embracing the cold can change their lives for the better. Filming the series had a huge lasting impression on Alfie as he opened up about his own struggles with mental health. As a young boy, Lancashire-born Alfie Boe (from the fishing port of Fleetwood) dreamed of a career as a singer. Turning his dreams into reality, Alfie has enjoyed a hugely successful career both in his native Britain and across the pond.

His career exploded in 2002 when stage and film director Baz Luhrmann cast him in a lead role in the acclaimed Broadway revival of ‘La Bohème’. Alfie's powerhouse performance brought him a Tony award and marked his arrival on the international scene.

Having conquered the world’s most prestigious opera stages, Alfie led the cast of Les Misérables in the role of Jean Valjean in the West End and played the lead role in Finding Neverland on Broadway. In 2012, Alfie stole the show at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace with a medley of hits from his illustrious career.

Always striving to bring great music to different audiences and with three sold-out UK Tours, including shows at the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, Alfie has become a firm household favourite with the British public. His records have gone Platinum in the UK with four top ten album placings and over 1 million records sold plus three number one albums as part of ‘Ball & Boe’ alongside Michael Ball - the most recent being 2020’s ‘Together At Christmas’ which was followed by a sold out UK and Ireland arena tour in December 2021.

In 2021 Alfie put together his own livestream show titled ‘Alfie Boe & Friends’ which saw him team up with Gary Barlow, Freddie Fox and Amanda Holden for live performances and interviews at the Savoy Hotel in London. Later that year Alfie performed at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London alongside the Tri-Service Display Bands.

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.
