These are recommendations made by tropers for Ben 10 fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.

    General Fics  Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

• Synopsis: An exploration of the distinct lack of romance between two cousins, and the resulting psychological fallout. Sometimes secrets are the only things we have left to define ourselves with.
• Comments: Despite the synopsis, there isn't any actual romance between Ben and Gwen in the story. Short stories told from Gwen's perspective, sometimes deconstructs certain aspects of the show, such as Ben's Chronic Hero Syndrome or Max as a Cool Old Guy . Some of the stories try to tackle themes that don't fit the series, but besides that, it expands on most of the subjects the original series haven't really touched.
• Note: This fanfic was written before Ben 10: Alien Force aired, Kevin's Heel-Face Turn never happened in this fic.

• Synopsis: Gwen needs both of them - she needs Ben to depend on her, and Kevin to make sure she's okay. And at the thought of losing Ben, she's not quite sure what she needs. Alien Force Hurt!Ben and Angsty!Gwen.
• Comments: Short, well-written story about Ben and Gwen's relationship (in family terms, no incest) after Ben gets hurt. There's a slight amount of Gwevin in the background, but I'm putting this in Gen fics because it's not the focus of the story. Really nice interpretation of Gwen's character, as most authors don't go into depth with her that often. There's also some very precious Kevin quotes, and everyone's very in character.

• Synopsis: Set after Darkstar Rising—Kevin tells his mom. Rtd K for once...good job on being child-friendly this time around, Kevin...
• Comments: A one-shot story that fills in some of the blanks that Ben 10: Alien Force never bothered to explain. Set after the episode "Darkstar Rising", we see Kevin reuniting with his estranged mother, while getting a glimpse into his past, including how his dad was a Plumber, hence his abilities , which also "evolved" over time from being able to absorb energy to being able to copy matter. And as someone who has become very disappointed in the series, this is a nice change of pace, as it delves a little deeper into what was never really elaborated on.

• Synopsis: Charmcaster has finally found a way to end the Tennysons once and for all... or so she thinks, when she sacrifices her magic to create a tape that allows her to 'Rewind' time. But Time Magic is a powerful and dangerous thing to use, especially if you're not an experienced mage...
• Comments: Kept me up all night reading, and honestly, is probably THE BEST Ben 10 fanfiction I've ever read. A bit of a warning, though: the themes that Karkadinn explores are very, very dark, and there's more than a little bit of graphic violence, with Alternative Character Interpretation all around, but all in all, it's probably the best example of character exploration that I've ever seen.

• Synopsis: An Evil Ben Family Story.
• Comments: The link is to the third chapter since the previous two don't have links to either of the other chapters. Mostly revolves around the interactions between the Evil Bens and Eon. The characterization is spot-on and interesting, with plenty of Alternative Character Interpretation . Though, be warned, Mad Ben and Bad Ben have got quite the mouths on them in this.

• Synopsis: Ken Tennyson loves his younger sister and cousin. They've been ignoring him lately though...
• Comments: Remember Ken Tennyson, Gwen's older brother who only ever appeared in one episode and was never mentioned again? Not only does this fic give a reasonable explanation for his absence, it's going to make you wish that the writers had actually used him again. Highly recommended.

• Synopsis: ...should come great responsibility, but Ben has never been the most responsible. And when the power is as great as this, well, who can resist?

• Synopsis: A year after Petropia’s recreation, Ben and Rook are assigned a deceivingly simple job the planet — overseeing an "official yearly Plumber check" to ensure that societal development and reassimilation with the galaxy is going smoothly. With Tetrax acting as their guide, it soon becomes clear that not all is as it seems. Digging through conspiracies and figuring out who can be trusted, they find that the glittering surface of the planet is covering a horrible conspiracy against the Petrosapiens, which may hide roots closer to home than any of them realized.

• Synopsis: After almost two years in Rook's company, Ben could no longer picture his life without the Revonnahgander by his side. You all might imagine, he just wouldn't allow the best friend and partner he'd ever had to go on a long, dangerous solo-mission.
• Comments: English isn't the author's first language, so there are a lot of spelling mistakes, but she's perfectly happy to fix any errors you spot as long as you are polite about it . She also loves constructive criticism and feedback. Fair warning, this is one intense fanfic. The two heroes rush to Revonnah because of a social movement that just turned violent .

• Synopsis: A take on what happened after the series, combining all show headcannons.
• Pairing: Gwen/Kevin, eventual Ben/Rook

• Synopsis: In the hours following Maltruant's attack on Plumber HQ, Gwendolyn can't help but wonder what possessed Kevin to fight as he did against Exoskull. When she confronts him about it, both parties realize just how much an insanity-driven past still haunts the present.

• Synopsis: In the aftermath of "Many Happy Returns," Kevin and Gwen have a chat about honesty, appropriate things to do in cars, and where to go for the rest of spring break.

• Synopsis: What starts as nothing but a fight gone wrong quickly spirals out of control. Ben heals from his unfortunate injuries well-enough, but when he returns to hero work, he's greeted by the public's newfound hostility towards Rook, his Omnitrix, and aliens everywhere. As the populous begins to turn on aliens, Ben finds himself juggling politics, a deeply-laid plan to rid the planet of aliens for good, dark thoughts he's always been content to ignore, and a rapidly-developing crush on his partner that he wishes would go away. It's a good thing that Ben knows how to multitask.
• Comments: I am a sucker for fics about politics and intrigue, and this fic has it by the boatload!

• Synopsis: Kevin starts a rumor that Ben's a furry. Then screams for 15 minutes when Ben and Rook hook up.
• Comments: The premise of the story is kind of silly, but if aliens are anything like humans, I could actually see this happening. Plus, I love fics that play with a concept, even if the concept in question is furries. Jam-art's art is exceptional as always!

• Synopsis: Here's the thing: heroes have it so easy in stories—go there, slay that, save this person, ride into the sunset. Eventually, Ben figures that, like everything else, the world at large has lied to him about this. (Or, Ben catches feelings and sometimes they're contagious.)

• Comments: I love how Kai is portrayed here!

On the other hand, Yaoyorozu Momo is a vigilante, and discrimination against Mutant-type Quirks is more rampant than Canon, meaning Omnitrix forms come with prejudice in this setting.

• Synopsis: Ben is transported to the world of Teyvat because he severely underestimated a technology that belonged to Dr. Psychobos. What sort of adventures would be in store for the extraterrestrial hero in this strange new world?
• Comment: Ben is transported into Teyvat, near Mondstadt, and decides to help people nearby. the minor gripe is how the locals insist that Ben's transformation is a Spirit no matter how much he explains it. a possible Ben x Amber.

• Synopsis: An unknown event duplicates Ben Tennyson and the duplicate is sent to the Monsters VS Aliens Universe. Not only does he have to get used to the new world but he also needs to figure out how to use the Omnitrix again after it rebooted and has only 10 aliens again!
• Comments: While Copy!Ben is based on the original series, his Omnitrix contains aliens from the other versions, including Reboot's.
• Crossover With: Worm
• Synopsis: Honestly, I didn't understand why everyone kept looking at me like I was the weird one. Alexandria clearly doesn't have that much muscle, yet no one bats an eye when she casually juggles tanks. But I say I use magic and suddenly I'm the odd duck? My powers were quite literally out of this world, what's their excuse?
• Crossover With: Miraculous Ladybug
• Synopsis: Ben and Gwen face off against Animo only for the fight to take a mysterious turn, taking them to another place. Someplace... Miraculous.
• Comments: This is an alternate Ben where he uses "Spanner" for his hero name and an alternate Gwen where she didn't destroy the Charms. Things get difficult when the Parisian heroes mistake the Americans' as Akumatized people, but an Akumatized Animo does help them smooth things over.
• Crossover with: Medaka Box
• Synopsis: Ever thought of Zenkichi ending up with the Alien Watch instead?
• Crossover with: Star Wars
• Synopsis: When Ben 10 recreated the Universe, he accidentally left the real Kevin in a Void. Kevin met a ROB and entered the Star Wars Universe. Join Kevin Ethan Levin as he ventures into the Galaxy Far Far Away.
• Comment: Kevin, armed with basic knowledge of Star Wars, ended up purchasing the Skywalkers and set them free as he tried to get out of Tatooine.
• Synopsis: That summer when Ben first found and used the Omnitrix was a simple one. Find bad guy, go hero, beat bad guy, get away, repeat. Ben was on top of the world; in a world full of quirks, he had the coolest one of all. However, every action has a reaction, and Ben's vigilantism has landed him in trouble. Now at UA, Ben must prove himself a hero, or suffer the consequences.
• Comments: A bit annoying how MHA setting's culture really clashes with Ben's, but he proves his worth as the Plumber's greatest ally and friend to all aliens.
• Crossover With: Star Wars
• Synopsis: Half a year into the Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano has vanished off the face of Coruscant after a mission gone wrong. And after detecting strange energy readings coming from a less advanced city on Coruscant, several Jedi are sent off to investigate and... Is that Ahsoka's picture on a Billboard? And what's with the weird black watch!?

• Winter's Secrets : Two years after the events of New York, a web of conspiracies reveals dark secrets between the Plumbers and SHIELD, and an old foe resurfaces... How will these new revelations change our heroes?
• Comments: It's pretty telling about Ben's personality that Nick didn't really need Coulson's blood-smeared Captain America merch to motivate the Avengers.
• Crossover with: The Boys (2019)
• Synopsis: Ben Tennyson, now going by the alias of Ben 10,000, has been teleported to the world of corrupt superheroes, and must aid a resistance group to expose the lie to the public that a multinational corporation who owns these heroes mean more harm than good.
• Comment: Pretty top-notch with the locals baffled with Ben 10.000's altruism. This is the Original Series!Ben 10.000, so expect Adaptational Seriousness .
• Crossover with: Attack on Titan
• Status: ongoing
• Synopsis: He was supposed to return back home. After helping Rex Salazar to defeat Alpha, Ben manages to put him in the Null Void but instead of ending up in Bellwood,he ends up in an alternate reality where humanity is at the brink of extinction. Perhaps with his presence,they can forge a better future for themselves.
• Comments: a good read. thanks to Ben, Eren did not get arrested and trialed by vouching for him.
• Crossover With: Mass Effect
• Synopsis: Ben Tennyson finds himself in the Mass Effect universe shortly before the start of the second game.
• Comments: This has scratched the itch I have with Ben 10 being isekai'd to Mass Effect world, with the teen hero helping the Normandy team's moral compass stick harder on Paragon. While Omnitrix is nerfed by being a bit glitched after being temporarily modified by Skurd, it merely forced Ben to be more creative. One of this fic's flaws is that, unlike most Ben 10 fanfics, it still addresses Ben as Ben instead of his alien form's name after every transformation, while spending a paragraph on the transformation scene.
• Crossover with: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
• Synopsis: Just when Percy Jackson thinks life is calming down after the defeat of Gaea, he finds himself confronting a mad geneticist who's mutating sea life and has to work with a certain alien shapeshifter to take him down.
• Comments: In this fic, Ben's identity is never publicly known because Hecate works The Mist overtime to cover it until Percy's unfortunate encounter with Dr. Animo ends up allowing him to track Percy back to the camp...
• Crossover With: Persona 3

• Synopsis: When Ben is chosen for a foreign exchange student program to Japan, he doesn't know that along with his cousins, he will face monsters called shadows and awaken his power as the Jester.

• Comments : A great fic showing Ben and Danny five years after the finales of their respective franchises, Ben, in particular, being well on his way to becoming Ben 10,000. There's great fight scenes, great characterization, interesting new characters, abilities, and aliens, and the story itself is gripping. However, it is Darker and Edgier than the actual cartoons, with swearing and more realistic violence (blood), although it doesn't take away from the story and it's not just there for shock value.

• Synopsis: One month before Yang is supposed to enter Beacon, a school built to train the next generation of protectors of Remnant, a watch falls in front of her Sister Ruby Rose. The watch was the Omnitrix. Now armed with ten aliens Ruby tries to become the huntress that she always wanted to be.
• Comments: Omnitrix was meant for Summer Rose, but eventually find enough genetic similarities in Ruby.

• Synopsis : While battling some magical villains, Ben Tennyson gets injured and the Omnitrix is damaged, causing him to be stuck in Frankenstrike's form . Then he falls into a portal and is transported through time and space. He lands near the female Frankenstein's Monster, who thinks he is the husband that Dr. Victor Frankenstein promised her, while he thinks she is a fellow Transylian. The misunderstanding is sustained because she only speaks French while he only speaks English.
• Comments : Warning, there is a lot of graphic violence, language, nudity, and sexual situations. However, Fran is simply adorable.

• Synopsis: Months have passed since the Highbreed Invasion, an attempt by a dying race to make sure that when they die they won't be going to the afterlife alone. Luz Noceda, Wielder of the Omnitrix, saved the entire galaxy from their wrath but now has to deal with the repercussions of his identity getting exposed when she fought against the Invasion with her friends and allies. With luck, this Summer vacation will just be the first relaxing (relatively) vacation she's had since five years ago when she found her Omnitrix. But she knows deep down that fate wasn't that kind.

Decades later, an Anodite-Human hybrid OC, Eleanor Cross, must return to the organization that betrayed her and her family to stop the Covenant from blowing up the entire galaxy in a misguided attempt to attain divinity. And as luck would have it, she is partnered with the only person in the UNSC who stands a chance against her — the Master Chief.

• Synopsis : Ben Tennyson has found himself in another universe, one filled with magic he never imagined. He comes across a few wizards who invite him to their guild, Fairy Tail. With no immediate ways to return home Ben must adapt to this new world, form new bonds, and grow stronger with his teammates to overcome many obstacles.
• Once one of the biggest Ben 10 crossovers, it may start simply being Ben sent to the land of Fiore, but slowly but surely, it grows bigger, having its characters evolve in different ways, alongside giving Ben an Adaptational Angst Upgrade .
• Unfortunately while Ultimate10 ’s work is some of the best storytelling for any Ben 10 crossover, even earning Ultimate 10 a whole wiki for it alone, this took a drastic turn when he couldn’t continue to write the story and gave it to an author known as PyroHelixdrago . Which later proved to have been a terrible mistake. As much as they clearly wanted to do their best taking the reins…they have not been handling this story very well and has ultimately caused the quality of Ultimate Fairy to take a massive nosedive; as it’s heading in a completely different direction, and not in a good way whatsoever.
• Overall, be wary of Pyrohelixdrago's version, as they have forcefully changed numerous things about this story that are deemed quite unnecessary by fans of the Ultimate10 version, and feel like Pyrohelixdrago is simply changing things on a whim without really justifying them. Such as retconning Omniverse elements back in when Ultimate10 was effectively eliminating that timeline by starting the story around UA timeline and making everything that happened beforehand non canon, giving Erza Nanites for some unnecessary reason, Ben suddenly adopting Wendy despite how awkward it feels, the Fairy Tail cast getting sporadically sent to Ben’s World, merging Ben & Generator Rex's Earth despite their official crossover establishing they exist in different universes, making Elfman & Mirajane suddenly able to use Take Over Magic with Ben's alien forms without any consequences, Lisanna suddenly appearing out of nowhere despite Ultimate10 previously building up her and Natsu’s reunion, and giving every member of Fairy Tail Plumber badges without even earning them to begin with, or how Ben and Erza despite only knowing each other for a couple of months are getting married , not to mention how rushed the story becomes around Edolas Arc, on top of the grammar becoming abysmal.
• Needless to say this once fantastic story can no longer be really recommended to many people because of all these negatively drastic and forceful changes Pyrohelixdrago has done in Ultimate Fairy. Resulting in many fans of Volume 1 to voice these criticisms in droves and some even asking Ultimate10 to come back and do something before their story is irreparably ruined by its newest and quite frankly poorly inexperienced author. But most of the other fans are simply urging Pyrohelixdrago to give this story to an author who is more competent with their writing, and can properly continue Ultimate Fairy; as they are clearly biting off way more than they can chew. But it’s unlikely anything will be done so far, as Pyrohelixdrago is seemingly ignoring all these honest criticisms and is dead set on continuing Ultimate Fairy in his own way, despite how detrimental it’s proven to be. Not to mention Ultimate10 has been currently working on a completely different Ben 10 X Fairy Tail fanfic called "A Lost Heroes Fairytale" that is separate story based off the original fanfic he wrote albeit as a harem fic with an amnesiac Ben .

• Synopsis: Ben Tennyson never seems to run out of crazy adventures, but this has to be one of his craziest yet. When he is discovered by Night Raid, a group of assassins fighting for the Revolutionary Army, Ben must decide whether to join them or become a soldier for the corrupt Imperial Capital.
• The story has recently returned after a long hiatus yet has chosen to basically reboot, everything that it had happened before the story has stopped updating for a while, and for some reason the quality of the writing has become rather rushed.

• Synopsis: He was supposed to be dead. After sacrificing himself to save the Ultimates, Ben finds himself not in the afterlife, but in a world far different from his own. Only instead of fighting Aliens,he now faces Spirits.
• Comment: in this story, Ben will eventually awaken his Anodite powers . if you're not into that, this is not for you. the best part is Ben and Yuuji's friendship and the fight scenes.

Professor Paradox is a time-traveling professor who can travel anywhere in space or time, within reason. While he forgot his true name from centuries of being trapped in a separate reality, he now goes by the name "Professor Paradox" after taking a liking to being referred to as such. [1]

Professor Paradox has fair skin, grey eyes, and black hair.

In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien , he wore a white lab coat over a white shirt with a brown vest and black tie, black pants, and black shoes. He also wore goggles with green lenses around his neck.

In Omniverse , his outfit has been modified. Despite not being able to age, his hair is grey on the sides and he has wrinkles on his face. His white lab coat now has brown and black pouches and gold trim, and underneath, he wears a black turtleneck with a white scarf, and his brown vest has gold buttons and pouches. He has a new pair of goggles around his neck, the Chrononavigator disguised as a metal gauntlet on his right hand and a fingerless glove on his left. His black pants now have brown kneepads, and he wears a pair of brown boots with gold straps.

Personality [ ]

Paradox is portrayed as a calm, easy-going man. He talks much like a stereotypical scientist, with dialogue requiring a greater command of the English language to fully understand. When he was displaced outside of time, he went insane; however, millennia later, he "got bored of that, too" and became sane. "Very sane." [1]

In his first appearance, Swampfire tried to capture Paradox (not knowing whether he was friend or foe), but he always "teleported" away. When Swampfire asked how he did that, the calm Paradox replied "It's called walking". He also likes gumballs and is often seen offering them to anyone he meets.

Paradox has a habit of getting events that haven't happened yet (from the perspective of the viewer and those he is talking to) and those that have (from his perspective) mixed up, due to his travels through time.

Paradox can be cryptic at times, such as when he foreshadowed Dagon's scheme by warning Ben and his team to "beware Old George [and] the creature from beyond ". [3]

Paradox's calm personality also makes it difficult to tell when he is joking or not, such as telling Kevin that his replacement car (factory new from the past) would "explode like anti-matter" if it came in contact with anything else from the same year it was made. [1]

Background [ ].

At some point, Professor Paradox was working for Area 51 . It is unknown what his job was exactly, but it had something to do with the alien prisoners there. In the flashback portion of Blukic and Driba Go to Area 51 , Paradox was called by Colonel Rozum to help with the investigation about Blukic and Driba 's fall on Earth .

Paradox and his assistant Hugo before the accident

Having discovered special properties in quartz crystals during the 1950s, Paradox received government funding to break a hole in the space-time continuum. However, a slight miscalculation and an explosion accidentally caused by his panicked assistant Hugo threw Paradox into the event horizon, where he remained for a hundred thousand years.

Paradox was displaced outside of time, where he lost the ability to age and was unable to sleep or eat; just exist. He went insane for a while, but then got bored and regained his sanity. Gaining complete understanding of the space-time continuum, Paradox renamed himself "Professor Paradox", though he forgot his original name in the process.

Paradox used his understanding to travel across time, making different parts of history better for others. He also claimed he would help Ben Tennyson save the "whole entire universe ".

Prior to Race Against Time , Professor Paradox travelled to the Race Against Time Timeline [note 1] and managed to thwart some of Eon 's early attempts to control that universe's Ben Tennyson . [pop-up 1] [4]

Alien Force [ ]

Professor Paradox first appears in Paradox , where he learns that the accident sent an extra-dimensional creature fifty years from the time of the experiment. He traveled to the Alien Force time to stop it, meeting Ben's younger self. It was at this point that he gained his new moniker, with Gwen bringing it up as the name of his original time travel project. After a few fights with the creature, Ben told Paradox to take them all back to when the accident took place.

It is eventually discovered that the creature was a frightened and confused Hugo, who was turning everything to dust. By preventing Hugo from being sucked into the event horizon, it negated his time-accelerating existence. After returning to Ben's present, Paradox was stoked that he did not see it in the first place. When an older Hugo turned up, Paradox greeted him and took him to a "behind-the-scenes look" at eternity. Paradox left the trio one last gift, Kevin 's regressed car , factory new from 1976. However, a note warns him that if the car comes in contact with anything from that era, it will explode like antimatter. However, this was merely a joke. [DM 2]

Paradox in War of the Worlds

In War of the Worlds , Paradox meets up with Azmuth , who greets him as "Time Walker", just as the Highbreed begin to invade Galvan Prime . Paradox convinces Azmuth to escape the planet's destruction, before meeting up with Ben. He informs Ben of the impending crisis, who resorts to gathering all the allies he made. Paradox aids Gwen and Kevin in recruiting Alan , Cooper and Darkstar to help in the fight, by teleporting them to the right location. He then joins Ben's team and partakes in the following battle against the Highbreed. Here he displays the ability to slow down time using his watch , allowing him to move at high speeds and take out a large number of DNAliens . Later he accepts a gun made by Cooper and uses it to turn DNAliens back into humans.

Paradox informs Gwen about the consequences of her meddling with time

In Time Heals , Paradox tries to stop Gwen from travelling back in time to stop Kevin from mutating but is unable to persuade her. After Gwen succeeds in her endeavor, she returns to the present to discover a post-apocalyptic world enslaved by Hex and Charmcaster . Paradox appears again and informs her that she is the cause of all this, as well as telling her that "time travelling is for immortals and fools".

Paradox proceeded to bring Gwen up to date with the events of this alternate future, which end up with Ben getting captured, Kevin becoming enslaved by Charmcaster, and Gwen being killed. A shocked and guilt-ridden Gwen attempts to repair the damage she has done, to which Paradox cautions her to be careful, only to discover she has already left. He smiles knowingly and states that "youth never listen". After Gwen manages to retrieve the Archamada Book of Magic , and manages to fix her mistake, Paradox appears once more in the restored present. Gwen asks him whether there is any more trouble, to which he states that everything is fine before vanishing.

Ultimate Alien [ ]

In Ultimate Aggregor , Paradox appears to tell the team about Aggregor 's plan on using the Chronologger to help him absorb the powers of the five And rom eda ali ens and gives Kevin some advice about his future before vanishing. It is also revealed he divided the Map of Infinity into four pieces in the past.

In Perplexahedron , it is revealed Paradox created the planet Perplexahedron to hide the final piece of the Map of Infinity from those who would misuse its power.

Paradox and Ben inside Alien X

In The Forge of Creation , Paradox took Ben and his team towards the Forge of Creation . After Aggregor was defeated and Ultimate Kevin left, Paradox returned 10-year-old Ben back to his own time.

In Ben 10,000 Returns , Paradox visited Ben 10,000 and helped him and present Ben's team foil Eon 's evil plan. After Eon was defeated, he asked Ben 10,000 to restore Swampfire , Ultimate Swampfire , and Way Big . In the process, Ben regains every alien he has ever turned into. Paradox also gives a warning to Ben's team about Old George and the creature from beyond before leaving with Ben 10,000.

Omniverse [ ]

Sometime in his life, Paradox would undergo a "steampunk general makeover" and participate in a Time War , during which Ben 10,000 accidentally cut off his right hand. [DJW 1] As he replaced it with a robotic prosthetic, he disguised his Chrononavigator as the prosthetic itself for safekeeping. Paradox also managed to trap Eon in the Main Timeline to prevent him from crossing into others to cause chaos.

In So Long, and Thanks for All the Smoothies , Paradox became aware that the universe was destroyed by the Annihilarrgh and replaced with a near-identical one created by Alien X . [DJW 2]

Paradox vs Eon

In Ben Again , Paradox responds to Eon switching the minds of 11-year-old Ben and 16-year-old Ben. He goes five years into the past to talk with 16-year-old Ben following Max's warning him not to give spoilers about the future. He informs Ben of his involvement in the Time War are the reason for his missing hand and that he has gone to great lengths to prevent Eon from causing havoc. However, Eon finds him and cuts off his right hand, which is actually his disguised Chrononavigator, and takes him to the end of time [DJW 3] to be interrogated.

Captured at the end of time

As Paradox is not a liar, Eon knows he does not have the Chrononavigator with him and goes to take it from 11-year-old Ben. When Eon begins to use the Chrononavigator to bring his minions into the main timeline, time begins falling apart. He is freed from his shackles thanks to both 11-year-old and 16-year-old Gwen. Instructing both Bens to use Clockwork to place Eon between both periods of time, the timeline is restored to normal, and all memory of the event is erased.

Ben 10,000 later comes looking for Paradox in 16-year-old Ben's era, saying that the Chronosapiens have gone rogue and Maltruant 's beasts are on an interdimensional rampage, saying this time war is getting out of hand.

In And Then There Were None , Paradox learns that Eon and Vilgax are abducting and brainwashing alternate Bens into serving them. He and Ben Prime travel to No Watch Ben 's timeline and are surprised that there is no Omnitrix in that universe. They are confronted by Vilgax and Eon's evil Bens, who are countered by several alternate Bens. As the battle rages, Paradox vanishes, returning only after Vilgax sets off a Chronosapien Time Bomb , wiping out every timeline but No Watch Ben's. Paradox pulls No Watch Ben out of Vilgax's grasp and tells him they have to restart Ben Prime's timeline.

In And Then There Was Ben , Paradox brings No Watch Ben to Vilgax's ship on the day Ben Prime found the Omnitrix and directs him to ensure events happen the way they originally did. With that done, they begin recruiting the alternate Bens for the previous battle against Vilgax and Eon. Paradox leaves No Watch Ben behind, then returns to send him to the moment after he pulled him away from Vilgax. When the villains are defeated, Paradox returns all the alternate Bens to their own timelines.

Paradox with Ben 10,000

In Let's Do the Time War Again , Paradox and Ben 10,000 come to the present to find that time has stopped (due to a clash of energies between Feedback and a Time Beast ). They travel further back in an attempt to prevent this from happening. They rebuild the wreckage of Rook's Proto-TRUK and Ben's Tenn-Speed into Time Cycles , using them to save Ben and Rook when the battle with the Time Beast goes awry once more (due to Gravattack accidentally creating a black hole). They travel back to the same time as before, where Ben and Rook aid their past selves, and use their Time Cycles to revert the Time Beast back into an egg. Paradox takes the past Ben and Rook back in time to "close the loop."

In The Secret of Dos Santos , Paradox appears to Ben, Rook, and Kai Green in the Temple of the Sky , revealing that the artifact they had been seeking was one of Maltruant 's parts, which Paradox had scattered through time after Maltruant's defeat. The part they found was the main spring, which Paradox had hidden in the temple years ago, under the protection of Ujin . When Exo-Skull attacks, Paradox tells Kai he cannot do anything. After Exo-Skull is defeated, Paradox takes Ujin back home.

In The End of an Era , Ken Tennyson reveals to Ben 10,000 that after he and Kai took his Omnitrix away after getting in over his head on a mission he was not allowed to go on, [DJW 4] Paradox gave him a device that would allow Ken to travel through time.

In A New Dawn , Paradox gives Ben and Rook a Time Beast egg, which powers up their Time Cycles enough to follow Maltruant to a place even Paradox cannot reach: before the beginning of the universe. Following Maltruant's defeat, Paradox reveals that the villain is unknowingly trapped in a time loop, doomed to be defeated again and again, with Paradox hiding his parts each time. Paradox asks Ben and Rook to help hide Maltruant's parts before he returns them home.

Powers and Abilities [ ]

Due to his time in entrapment for several millennia, Paradox has an in-depth understanding of the space-time continuum. This allows him to travel to any point in space and time, as well as slowing down or speeding up time as he pleases. However, he states that there are places he cannot go and things he cannot do, [5] though what restricts remains unknown.

Paradox can manipulate his own personal time, allowing him to simulate super-speed. His abilities are not limited to one universe, having visited other universes and the space between them. He can also completely stop time. [DJW 5]

Paradox is able to regress a person's age, but seems incapable of doing it on something mechanical, instead having to pull it physically out of the past. [1]

Paradox is capable of teleporting people, objects and even places like the Forge of Creation to almost any destination instantaneously without any trouble. He might even be able to teleport buildings or entire planets. [DJW 6] However, he does have to follow certain rules; for example, he cannot bring the past and future versions of an individual together unless absolutely necessary.

Paradox's time travel powers have left him biologically immortal, leaving him unaffected by accelerated aging fields, nor does he need to eat or sleep.

Paradox is capable of reverting Ben from an alien back to his human form as he did to Alien X. [5] Though it is possible Paradox can simply pull Ben back in time to before he transformed, while allowing him to return memories that would have existed.

Paradox possesses enhanced strength and agility, as he was able to fight on par with Eon. [6]

Paradox can see the faces of Toepick's species clearly. It is not an unknowable horror to him, therefore he is able to overcome his initial fears. [DJW 7]

Weaknesses [ ]

There are places in existence Paradox cannot reach with his powers, such as before the beginning of time. However, with that said, Paradox is still able to travel to the first and final moments of time.

Paradox had admitted that he does not lie and Eon has confirmed this. [6] Though he can circumvent this with clever wordplay to misdirect others.

Getting control of Paradox's Chrononavigator might give one an advantage over him, though this has proven to be a double-edged sword, as Eon almost destroyed all reality when he tried to use it. [6]

If all of Paradox is in one point of space and time, he can be affected by a Nemuina 's sleeping dust. [DJW 8]

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks [ ]

Paradox appears in the Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks video game. He first appears during the alien invasion telling Ben that it is not the time to use Alien X . After Azmuth's visit to Ben, Paradox returns and rewinds time to the point before the alien invasion. Paradox even helps Ben escape from Anur Phaetos . After Ben defeated Vilgax, Psyphon steals the energy core to power up the Null Void Projector, Paradox then appears and tells Ben that it is time to use Alien X.

Punch Time Explosion XL [ ]

During the first Ben 10 level in Bellwood, Paradox makes a cameo in the game.

• During his introductory episode, he was already familiar with Ben , Gwen , Kevin , and even later events in the series. His first meeting with them (from his perspective) has never been shown.

Time Travel is an episode of Ben 10 Xtreme Power.

Ben is tampering with the Ultimatrix, trying to find aliens that Ben 10,000 has. Accidentally, he turns into Clockwork. Ben doesn't know what Clockwork's powers are, so he decides to try and teleport, but instead travels in time to the future. He lands in a futuristic city and the Ultimatrix times out. Ben sees a colossal building with an Ultimatrix symbol on it, and enters it. There is a long corridor with doors on the sides, so Ben travels on through the corridor until an alarm goes off. There are drone soldiers, and they try to shoot him, but Ben turns into Armodrillo and destroys them. Then there runs an adult about 24 years old. The adult turns into Four Arms and defeats Armodrillo, and Ben turns into Rath to fight. Rath gains the upper hand, but Four Arms turns into Humungousaur and defeats Rath. Rath turns into Spidermonkey and defeats Humungousaur, causing him to turn back. The adult appears to be Ben 1,000. Spidermonkey turns back to Ben. 24-year old Gwen comes out of a door and sees Ben with Ben 1,000. 25-year old Kevin walks out of another door with a metal arm. Ben asks what happened to it and Kevin unabsorbs the metal on his hand. Ben 1,000 hears an alarm and runs to a big octagonal room with a control centre in the middle. Ben 1,000 runs up to the control centre and tells Ben, Gwen and Kevin that an area called Sector 412b is being attacked. Present Ben attempts to turn into Jetray but Ben 1,000 turns him into Fasttrack instead. They get to Sector 412b and see a new villain-Gorpad-attacking the core of it. Fasttrack attacks Gorpad but to no result as Gorpad has special armour on his torso and some on his shoulder and arm. Ben 1,000 turns into Swampfire and then goes ultimate. Ultimate Swampfire easily defeats Gorpad, but a Techadon-controlled Vulkanus lands. Fasttrack turns into Goop and Ultimate Swampfire turns into Eatle. Goop holds Vulkanus in place until Eatle shoots a laser from his mouth at Vulkanus. Vulkanus falls back but is only 25% harmed. Kevin does 10% damage with a macehand and Gwen does a 20% damage with a spell. Vulkanus now has 55% damage and Goop starts to melt Vulkanus. Vulkanus punches Goop away when he reaches 90% damage. Goop turns into Spidermonkey and then goes ultimate. Ultimate Spidermonkey slams Vulkanus into the core, getting him up to 100% damage. Vulkanus's Techadon body explodes and Vulkanus flies away.

At 7:00pm, Ben 1,000 turns into Clockwork and is about to shoot present Ben back to the past. Kevin gives him a present for Gwen and 24-year old Gwen kisses Ben. Clockwork shoots Ben back to the past and Ben appears next to Mr Smoothy with Gwen and Kevin beside him. Ben gives Gwen the present and it opens showing a chain made of mana crystals. Kevin asks Ben where he's been but Ben just states that it's a long story.
