Doug at BLACK CAB PREMIER TOURS !
Doug picked us up at our hotel and we spent 4 wonderful hours exploring thru London. His knowledge of history in every area was phenomenal ! War History, Queens History, and History of the Church and so much more of this great place that 4 hours was not enough. Taking a Black Cab Private Tour is the only way to see London and Doug was the BEST!
My husband and I had the BEST guide today for a private Black Cab tour of London’s most iconic sights! Mark is fabulous and a master of London history. In addition he does everything possible to help his customers have a comfortable experience and adapt to their needs. He happily snaps photos of you and makes the history of this beautiful city come alive! I highly recommend his tour, especially if you don’t have 7+ days to get around and organize a tour by public transport for yourself. And without complete history book you would not have an understanding of London’s history that he gave us! Do book this tour or any London tour with Mark that interests you!

Can’t say enough about our tour with Jeremy! We had such a short time in London before boarding our cruise ship and this was just the way to spend it! Jeremy was engaging, knowledgeable, and a great storyteller. He took the time to personalize it based on our interests (big Beatles fan here!). We saw so many sites in our time with him, with plenty of photo ops. His passion for this beautiful city and for sharing it with others is so evident. We wish we had more time with him! There’s Big Ben, there’s Buckingham Place and there’s John Goodwins, one of the best city guides we’ve ever had. I’ve used guides from Bogota to Istanbul and John was simply outstanding. He had the encyclopedic knowledge you might expect from a twenty-year veteran of black London cabs but went above and beyond with amusing personal insights into his wonderful city. I’ve found guides fall roughly into one of two kinds: the enclyclopedias, who spray a fire hose of information, and the performers, who emphasize amusing patter, but John was one of the rare guides who ably spanned both groups. I doubt the British Museum has more information about London than John—I spent some futile, good natured attempts to stump him—but always with a willingness to just stop, talk and laugh. Cannot recommend John more. Hire this man if you want to see the real London!
Our tour was amazing. Our tour guide Jeremy was even more amazing. The private tour is a touch expensive but worth every dime considering what we got to see on our own. We wish we would have did this tour on our first day in London instead of our last. We learned so much about the area along with our tour of all the amazing music history of London. Jeremy was so nice and knowledgeable. Please please ask for Jeremy and try to book on your first day. It will really open up London for the rest of your trip. Thank you again Jeremy.
