Le Tour de France 2010 est la 97 e   édition du Tour de France cycliste. Il s'est déroulé du 3 au 25 juillet 2010 . Le Luxembourgeois Andy Schleck remporte cette édition après le déclassement de l' Espagnol Alberto Contador de l' équipe Astana pour dopage par décision en date du 6 février 2012 du Tribunal arbitral du sport [2] , [3] . Il devance au classement général Samuel Sanchez et Jurgen Van den Broeck . Andy Schleck remporte par la même occasion et pour la troisième fois le maillot blanc de meilleur jeune. Il est le premier Luxembourgeois à remporter le Tour depuis Charly Gaul qui a gagné en 1958 . L' Italien Alessandro Petacchi ( Lampre-Farnese ), vainqueur de deux étapes, est le lauréat du classement par points et le Français Anthony Charteau celui du maillot à pois du classement de la montagne .

Tour de France 2010: Mark Renshaw prompts rethink on dangerous riding

Team leaders who benefit from dangerous riding may face sanctions even if they ride safely themselves, following yesterday's expulsion from the Tour de France of Mark Cavendish's lead‑out man, Mark Renshaw, for headbutting a rival.

Francesco Cenere, the president of the Tour's referee committee, said today that such sanctions might happen. "There is no provision for this in the rules, but in another sprint we might see things differently," he said.

HTC Columbia's Renshaw was thrown out of the Tour after he used his head to fight off a fellow lead‑out man, Julian Dean of Garmin, in the last few hundred yards of stage 10, before obstructing Garmin's sprinter, Tyler Farrar, who yesterday pulled out of the Tour with a wrist injury. The move allowed Cavendish to surge to the front and launch his winning effort.

Dean later condemned Renshaw, who is Australian, for his recklessness. The New Zealander said: "I jumped on to the back of Cav's wheel and went past Renshaw and tried to keep the speed high. Renshaw didn't seem to like it too much. I didn't switch my line.

"The next thing I felt was him [Renshaw] leaning on me and hitting me with his head, before coming across Tyler's line which stopped Tyler from possibly winning the stage. If there had been a crash, it would have caused some guys some serious damage. What we do is very dangerous and we don't need behaviour like that to make it even more dangerous."

Asked today if Cavendish should also be punished, the race director, Jean-François Pescheux, said the Briton deserved his stage win. "He didn't make a fault. That's the problem. It happened next to him and later, behind him. We can't disqualify Cavendish because his team-mate made a big infringement."

However, others were not so forgiving. An editorial in the French newspaper L'Equipe – regarded as the voice of the Tour, as it is owned by the company that owns the race organisers – claimed that there was "a complete lack of scruples" in the way Renshaw had ridden.

The editorialist, Philippe Bouvet, one of the most authoritative writers on the race, called for a change to the rules so that sprinters as well as lead-out men could be punished. "Faced with the seriousness of what went on, things which put the safety of the entire bunch in jeopardy, it could be time that the rules were amended."

Renshaw had already been involved in a nerve-racking episode in this year's race, although it was not seen to merit punishment. In the build-up to Cavendish's first stage win, at Montargis, he fought off the Spaniard Oscar Freire and the Norwegian Thor Hushovd before launching Cavendish in the final metres.

While it was the headbutts which grabbed the headlines yesterday, and which made the more spectacular pictures, the offence which grabbed the jury's attention was the obstruction on Farrar. This was a relatively common manoeuvre, in which a lead-out man swings off after making his effort and impedes a rival.

It is rarely done as blatantly as yesterday, and it is usually impossible to tell whether it is being done deliberately, such is the coming and going in a finish sprint. As a result it is rarely punished.

The episode was the latest in what seems to be a feud between two American teams, Garmin and HTC, including an episode in last year's Tour in which Garmin chased down the HTC veteran George Hincapie when he had a strong chance of taking over the yellow jersey.

Le Grand Départ à Rotterdam

P/ samedi 3 juillet 2010 : prologue Rotterdam > Rotterdam - contre la montre individuel - 8 km

• Infos ville > Rotterdam devient après Amsterdam (1954, le premier départ de l'étranger dans l'histoire du Tour de France), Scheveningen (1973), Leiden (1978) et Den Bosch (1996) la 5ème ville aux Pays-Bas à recevoir le Grand Départ du Tour de France.
• Le programme le lundi 28 décembre 2010, Rotterdam annonçait que le prologue commençera à 16h30 pour finir vers 20h00. En effet, la Coupe du Monde de foot (FIFA) 2010 aura lieu du 11 juin au 11 juillet 2010 en Afrique du Sud et deux quarts de finale sont prévus ce jour-là, le premier à 16h00 et un autre à 20h30. Comme les Pays-Bas pourraient jouer le match de 20h30 (s'ils arrivent en quarts de finale), le prologue du Tour doit se terminer avant. La caravane publicitaire partira à 14h30 et le programme sera donc le suivant : 14h30 : départ caravane publicitaire 16h30 : départ du prologue pour le premier coureur 20h00 : fin du prologue pour le dernier coureur

01/ dimanche 4 juillet 2010 : Rotterdam > Bruxelles - plaine - 224 km

• Infos villes / étape > Rotterdam a reçu le Tour de France une fois avant 2010 : pour l'arrivée de l'étape 1a en provenance de Scheveningen et pour le départ de l'étape 1b en destination de Saint-Nicolas > Bruxelles a reçu le Tour de France 9 fois avant 2010, la dernière fois en 1992 avec l'arrivée de l'étape en provenance de Roubaix, remportée par Laurent Jalabert. Cette ville belge est ainsi la ville étrangère ayant le plus souvent reçu le Tour de France Il s'agit d'une étape pour sprinters (sous réserve qu'ils soient dans le bon groupe à l'arrivée en cas de cassures) qui connaîtra sans aucun doute un grand succès populaire en passant aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique où le cyclisme est très populaire !

02/ lundi 5 juillet 2010 : Bruxelles > Spa - vallonnée - 192 km

• Infos villes / étape > En 1958, à l'occasion de l'Exposition universelle, le départ du Tour de France avait lieu à Bruxelles, pour une étape en direction de Gand > Spa a reçu le Tour de France à 3 reprises avant 2010 : en 1962 pour une arrivée et un départ, en 1980 pour un contre la montre sur le Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps et en 1989 pour une arrivée sur ce même circuit. La ville est par ailleurs connue de l'eau minérale qui répond au même nom, concurrent d'un des partenaires du Tour de France, Vittel Après une première partie d'étape plate, l'étape passera en partie sur le parcours des classiques ardennaises avec entre autres la Côte du Rosier. Néanmoins, elle sera escaladée dans le sens inverse de celui qu'on voit sur Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Cette étape pourrait être remportée par un puncheur ... à moins qu'ils laissent la chance aux sprinters de se battre sur la ligne d'arrivée pour la victoire d'étape.

03/ mardi 6 juillet 2010 : Wanze > Arenberg / Porte du Hainaut - plaine - 207 km

• Infos villes / étape > Wanze : après un passage du Tour de France en juillet 2004 et le départ d'une étape du Giro en 2006, Wanze reçoit pour la première fois le départ d'une étape du Tour de France en 2010 ! Les fans de cyclisme connaissent également la ville d'une autre classique organisée par A.S.O., la Flèche Wallonne qui connaît son arrivée tout près de Wanze, au Mur d'Huy. > Arenberg reçoit également le Tour de France pour la toute première fois mais sa trouée , qui s'appelle officiellement la Drève des Boules d'Hérin, a déjà tellement souvent eu un rôle décisif dans Paris-Roubaix qu'Arenberg n'est pas une ville inconnue dans le monde du cyclisme !

04/ mercredi 7 juillet 2010 : Cambrai > Reims - plaine - 150 km

• Infos villes / étape > Cambrai : la capitale des bêtises sera en 2010 pour la deuxième fois ville départ, après un premier départ en 2004 pour une étape en direction de Arras. Il s'agissait alors d'une étape d'une soixantaine de kilomètres sous forme de contre la montre par équipes, remportée par l'équipe US Postal et permettant ainsi à Lance Armstrong de reprendre le maillot jaune de Robbie McEwen. > Reims : la capitale du champagne est plus habituée à recevoir le Tour, à dix reprises ! La dernière fois était en 2002 quand Robbie McEwen a remporté l'étape au sprint.

• Infos villes / étape > Épernay : après Reims, on continue dans les capitales du champagne avec Épernay. La ville a reçu le Tour à 3 reprises avant 2010, pour une arrivée en 1963 (étape remportée par le belge Eddy Pauwels qui prenait au passage également le maillot jaune à l'arrivée à Épernay) et deux fois pour un départ d'étape (1978 et 2002). > Montargis : la Venise du Gâtinais (Montargis doit ce surnom au fait que la ville se trouve aux confluents du Loing, du Puiseaux et du Vernisson et est traversée par le Canal de Briare et qu'on y trouve donc de nombreux ponts) a également déjà reçu le Tour à 3 reprises : avec une arrivée au sprint (remporté par Herman van Springel) et un départ en direction de Créteil en 1969, avec un départ en direction de Versailles en 1976 et en 2005 pour une autre arrivée au sprint sur une étape remportée par Robbie McEwen. En 2010, Montargis propose à la fois une arrivée et un départ, comme en 1969

Commentaires

Comme on le craignait, la tache de ce parcours est l'étape de Pau tracée à l'envers. Et puis l'étape de la Madeleine aurait mérité de se finir par le Glandon ou la Toussuire. Ce parcours est pas génial, pas très original quant aux ascensions mais quand même très supérieur à celui insipide de 2009.

Voici le parcours détaillé de la 12è étape entre Bourg de Péage et Mende, avec la liste des communes traversées : Drôme : BOURG DE PEAGE - Romans - Grange les Beaumont - Beaumont Monteux (près) - Tain l'Hermitage Ardèche : Tournon sur Rhône - Le Crestet - Lamastre - St Prix - Nonières - Le Cheylard - Mariac - Dornas - Mézilhac - Suc de Montivernoux - Lachamp Raphael - Ste Eulalie - Le Béage - Le Lac d'Issarlès - La Chapelle Graillouse - Coucouron - Lavillatte (près) - Pradelles - Langogne - Chaudeyrac - Col de la Pierre Plantée - Laubert - Pelouse - Col de la Tourette - Badaroux - MENDE Les autres étapes vont suivre au fur et à mesure. C'est clair que c'est mieux, bcp mieux qu'en 2009, et je dois dire que je suis agréablement surpris par les étapes alpestres car j'imaginais pire... Cependant il est vrai que le tracé pyrénéen aurait mérité plus d'originalité : Ax 3 Domaines, Luchon, Pau ..... C'est quand même pas terrible terrible il y avait d'autres alternatives ils sont pas allé chercher bien loin, mais je suis heureux que l'étape du Tourmalet emprunte le Soulor par son versant nord c'est un bonne surprise! Je regrette juste les cols Basques (absence de cols inédit,le toit du tour est à seulement 2115m, pas d'étape dantesque...), de plus ça aurait été sympa de profiter d'un bon clm.indiv. en côte ds les Pyrénés... Mais ds l'ensemble, ça reste un bon tracé qui laisse augurer, on l'espère, un bon Tour de France . =)

A Seb 36: selon ton itinéraire proposé, on aurait donc le Suc de Montivernoux par le col de Mézilhac (16km à 4% environ), le col de Nonières, juste avant, le col du Rayol, après Montivernoux, et donc le col de la Pierre Plantée avant la descente sur Mende.

Parcours de la 4ème étape Cambrai/Reims : Bohain, Guise, Marle, Pierrepont, Liesse Notre Dame, Marchais, D24, Neufchâtel sur Aisne (02), Brienne sur Aisne, Poilcourt-Sydney (08), Bougogne, Reims, Rue de Betheny, (Boulevard de la Paix comme en 1991) ou variante Boulevard Dauphinot, Blvd Henri-Vasnier. Le lieu d' arrivée n' est pas choisi.

Bonjour, J\'habite la région de Spa sur la descente du Rosier (version Liège Bastogne Liège). La presse locale annonce l\'ascension du Stokeu de Stavelot et redescente comme pour LBL, puis direction Trois-Ponts, Coo, début de la côte du Rosier (par son versant le plus long, dur et irrégulier) au pied de La Gleize, Borgoumont, Cour, Sommet du Rosier, descente vers Spa-Marteau et retour vers le centre de Spa pour un sprint en léger faux plat montant. En ce qui concerne l'étape Montargis-Gueugnon, on devrait avoir : montcresson, montbouy, châtillon-coligny, bléneau, st fargeau, bouhy, varzy, neuilly, st révérien, st saulge, lucy, st bénin des champs, ravizy, chatillon en bazois, moulins engilbert, st honoré les bains, les montarons, les forges, luzy, issy l'évêque, gueugnon. Etape composée de successions des petites montées descentes, notamment dans sa 2nde partie. Une belle petite bosse de 2km (vers Issy L'Evêque) à 12 bornes de l'arrivée sur Gueugnon.

Pour ce qui est de Tournus-Lamoura : Ratenelle, romenay, st trivier de courtes, cormoz, st amour, l'aubépin, thoissia, andelot-morval, st julien, lains, dessia, sesigna, arinthod, chisseria, chemilla, anchay, thoirette, matafelon granges, samognat, oyonnax, belleydoux, col de la croix de la serra, la devia, villars st sauveur, st claude, septmoncel, tréchaumont, lamoura. Etape bien dessinée avec 40 bornes de plat dans la bresse puis plus un mètre de plat dès lors : Côte de l'Aubépin (7 bornes à 4,5% : K 50), Les granges de Dessia (5,5km à 4,1% : Km 68), remontée sur Arinthod, côte après Samognat (8,5km à 4,1% en 2 paliers : Km 107), Col de la Croix de la Serra (19km à 2,7% en 2 paliers et un premier palier de 7km à 6,2% : km 129) puis l'arrivée sur Lamoura (14 bornes à 5% dont une première partie apparemment pas simple avec 8 bornes à 7%).

J'ai reconnu aujourd'hui tout les secteurs pavés de l'étape d'Arenberg, et je peux vous dire que c'est long et que ca va faire du dégat, les routes ne sont pas larges entre les secteurs

L’equipe publishes list of uci’s doping suspicions from 2010 tour de france.

PARIS (AFP) ─ Denis Menchov, Andreas Klöden and Michael Rogers are among a “secret” list of 40 riders who warranted special attention from anti-doping officials at last year’s Tour de France, a report said on Friday.

The French sports daily L’Equipe said the “secret” list was created by the UCI after blood samples taken two days before last year’s race were compared with evidence already available on the riders’ biological passports.

According to the newspaper, the list was created by Pierre-Edouard Sottas, a doping specialist with the International Olympic Committee-accredited (IOC) laboratory in Lausanne who now works for the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The UCI created the list in a bid to ascertain which riders may or may not have been using banned substances or methods in the run-up to the three-week epic.

Based on the comparison of the 198 blood samples taken on July 1, 2010 with blood parameters that go back as far as 2008, the list puts the entire Tour peloton into 11 categories, ranging from zero to 10.

UCI and Tour react

Soon after the article was posted at L’Equipe , the UCI issued a formal statement in response to the publication of the list, noting that “suspicion is not the same as guilt.” Earlier the governing body said it would launch an investigation to discover the source of the leak, but said the riders mentioned in the report should not automatically be regarded as doping suspects.

“First of all, the UCI regrets that this document has fallen into the hands of people external to the UCI as this list constitutes a mere working tool to be used by the anti-doping authorities in the course of their work at the Tour,” the UCI said late Thursday when it learned of the imminent publication of the report.

“We regard this leak as a serious affair and we will be doing everything to determine how it came about.”

The UCI added: “As regards the list, the UCI would like to highlight that the reading of this list should be done so with a very precise and provisional context.

Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme insisted Friday that the list was merely a tool in the fight against doping.

“There is no ‘secret’ file. There is a list made for one of the three international federations (the UCI), who have taken the biological passport, that is to say a tool, certainly a bonus in the fight against doping,” said Prudhomme. “Because cycling is a forerunner, with its international authorities that a list, not secret, but working, exists.

“You musn’t turn things around and associate the word suspicion with a discipline which is fighting, precisely because it is fighting. Only those who have a biological passport can have such a list.”

That was a point echoed by the newspaper, too. L’Equipe ‘s editorial column that accompanied the list praises cycling and the UCI for the fight against doping. Under the headline “Cycling shows the way” editor Gilles Simon writes (in part): “What you have in front of your eyes is not a lists of culprits. The inventory prepared by the UCI doctors is a working document for the attention of the anti-doping inspectors. Its a unique document, without precedent in other sports, the fruit of a long-term work and observation, which constitutes a sharp instrument in the anti-doping politics led by the UCI. … it reveals a reality far detached from the belief that ‘all doped’ and twists the neck of the idea of organized doping within teams.”

Levels of scrutiny

Those in the five lower categories warranted barely any scrutiny, with perhaps only one biological parameter giving scientists reason for concern, according to the paper.

The samples of riders in category five warranted “precise, and sometimes more affirmative commentary” from scientists, said the report, suggesting they may have been involved in some kind of manipulation.

Those in categories six and above (6-10) showed “overwhelming” evidence of some kind of doping, due to “recurring anomalies”, “enormous variations” in parameters, and even the “identification of doping products or methods”, according to L’Equipe .

By far the biggest name in the top echelons is Russia’s Menchov, a former Giro d’Italia winner who finished third overall in last year’s Tour.

The Geox team rider is in category nine, just behind Spaniard Carlos Barredo (Quick Step) and Ukrainian Yaroslav Popovych (Radio Shack), who occupy top spot in category 10.

Among the big names in category eight are Australia’s Matthew Lloyd, who is currently without a team, and Belgian Jurgen Van den Broeck (Omega-Pharma), who was aiming for a top-ten finish in last year’s Tour.

Klöden (Radio Shack), fellow German Tony Martin (HTC-Columbia) and Australia’s Rogers (HTC-Columbia, now Team Sky) are the three biggest names in six-strong category seven.

German Linus Gerdemann and Welshman Geraint Thomas (both Team Sky), join Italy’s Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre) as the three biggest names in seven-strong category six.

Reigning Tour de France champion Alberto Contador of Spain (Saxo Bank) is by far the most high-profile name in the 15-strong category five, which also features Italian Alessandro Ballan (BMC), Alexander Vinokourov (Astana) and England’s Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky).

Contador is, of course, the only rider to have tested positive for a banned substance in the 2010 Tour. He tested positive for clenbuterol, which he blamed on contaminated meat which he ate. He was cleared by the Spanish authorities but is awaiting a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision which will decide his fate in June.

The paper noted that the scores attributed to each rider “did not constitute proof” of any doping or wrongdoing.

The report suggested that 156 riders from the 198-strong peloton showed “little or no risk” of doping, with only 42 riders among the top five “suspect” categories.
