What is Touristenfahrten?

If you are a motorsports and track day enthusiast, then you have probably heard of Touristenfahrten (TF), a unique experience that allows anyone to drive on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, one of the most iconic and challenging race tracks in the world. But what exactly is Touristenfahrten, and how does it differ from a private track day?

tourist drives nordschleife

Touristenfahrten, which translates to "tourist rides" in English, is a public driving session that takes place on the Nordschleife, which is part of the Nürburgring complex in Germany. Unlike a private track day, where drivers have exclusive access to the circuit, Touristenfahrten allows anyone with a road-legal car or motorcycle to drive on the track at a specified time and date.

Nordschleife Touristenfahrten Opening Times

One of the key differences between Touristenfahrten and a private track day is how the day and access to the circuit is managed. During a private track day the circuit is closed to the public and only open for the use of the booked participants, there is no "arrive and drive" element. With this in mind you will also find a lot less cars on track at a private track day. You can usually find a combination of the following event rules. There can be different types of events for different types of cars (Street, Track, Race), Slick tyres may be used (usually with a full roll cage) . The track is divided into sessions, with each group of drivers given a specific amount of time to complete their laps. Cars do not have to be road legal and mandatory insurance is not required (Third party liability may vary). On the Nordschleife a lot of private track days are also aimed at experienced drivers Some popular private track day organisers are: Pistenclub

Destination Nürburgring

Circuit Days

Touristenfahrten, on the other hand, is more casual and is open and accessible for all on an "arrive and drive" basis for anyone who would like to experience a lap. The rules for Touristenfahrten generally follow the regular road laws of Germany, drivers are required to have a full valid driving licence, their cars must be road registered and legal which includes Insurance and a valid car safety inspection (TuV, MOT etc). Unlike a track day Touristenfahrten officially has no timing this means that drivers can take their time and enjoy the track at their own pace, without feeling pressured or rushed.

You may still find the odd lap time "hero" trying to win TF and the golden pineapple so it is a good idea to familiarise yourselves with the rules of Touristenfahrten, some of the key rules are: Only pass on the left with consent

Drivers of vehicles not licensed in Germany must carry proof of insurance.

The sound power level of 130 dB (A) must not be exceeded You can find the official Rules and Safety Guidelines for Touristenfahrten below:

Driving Regulations

Safety Regulations

Another key difference is the cost. Private track days are often expensive, with fees ranging from several hundred to several thousand Euros. Touristenfahrten, on the other hand, is much more affordable, with prices starting at 30 euros for a single lap.

You can get a green hell lap card online to buy your laps in advance:

Sign up for a Green Hell account

Despite the lower cost and more relaxed atmosphere, Touristenfahrten is not without its risks. The Nordschleife is a challenging and unforgiving track, with steep elevation changes, blind corners, and a variety of challenging turns. As with the normal road, accidents do happen and drivers are advised to take extra precautions and drive within their limits.

Touristenfahrten is a unique and exciting way to experience the Nordschleife, offering a more relaxed and affordable alternative to private track days. Whether you are a seasoned track day veteran or a first-time driver, Touristenfahrten is an experience that you won't forget anytime soon.

Driving the Nürburgring Nordschleife by yourself

What do you need to know to drive tourist drives? Tourist drives are public events during which the Nürburgring Nordschleife is a one-way toll road. Therefore, the road traffic regulations also apply here. Provided you are of age and in possession of a valid driving licence, you may take part in the tourist drives. The requirements for rental of one of our race cars are identical to those of the Nürburgring. You must have held a driving licence for at least two years, as we require a certain amount of driving experience on public roads. As long as you have not taken any drugs, medication or alcohol on the day, there is nothing to prevent you from renting a car.

How to plan a trip to the Nürburgring: The Ultimate Guide

April 12, 2023

Hey there, speed fanatic! Are you ready for the experience of a lifetime? In this comprehensive guide, I’ll uncover everything you need to have the perfect trip to the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. So strap in, grab your helmet, and let’s hit the gas on this exciting journey!

Meticulous Planning: The Key to a Memorable Trip

Embarking on an adrenaline-pumping trip to the Nürburgring demands thorough planning to guarantee an unforgettable experience. From pinpointing the ideal time for your visit and coordinating your travel and accommodations to budgeting and prepping for your high-speed adventure, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. We’ll dive into essential considerations such as weather patterns, special events, transportation, lodging options, and even insider tips on how to make the most of your Nürburgring trip.

Ideal Times to Experience the Nürburgring: Striking the Perfect Balance

Timing your visit to the Nürburgring is essential for an optimal driving experience. The best periods to visit the track are from late spring to early fall, more specifically between April and October. During these months, you’ll be able to take full advantage of the milder weather, which translates to warmer temperatures, longer daylight hours, and a reduced likelihood of rain or snow.

It’s important to note that the Nürburgring is closed during the winter months due to the harsh weather conditions and increased safety risks. Snow, ice, and fog make the track unsuitable for driving during this time.

Visiting during the ideal months also means that you can fully appreciate the picturesque beauty of the Eifel region surrounding the track. The lush green forests, rolling hills, and quaint villages create a stunning backdrop for your high-speed adventure. Plus, during these months, you’ll have the opportunity to attend various events and races that are more likely to take place during this period.

However, keep in mind that the track can become very busy in the middle of summer, with large crowds and numerous drivers on the track. This can make for a more congested driving experience, particularly during public driving sessions. If you’re planning your trip during popular events or holidays, it’s essential to book your lodging and track time well in advance to secure your spot.

By carefully choosing the right time to visit the Nürburgring, you can maximize your driving experience, immerse yourself in the region’s natural beauty, and create lasting memories of your high-speed adventure.

In the end, planning a trip to the Nürburgring can feel a bit like playing the lottery, as weather and track conditions can vary greatly.

Experience Unforgettable Events and Races

The Nürburgring is a hive of activity throughout the year, hosting a plethora of events and races catering to diverse interests. Some of the most popular events include the ADAC 24 Hours of Nürburgring, an endurance race that attracts racing fans from around the world, and the Nürburgring Drift Cup, which showcases the incredible skills of drift racers. Additionally, the VLN Endurance Championship races, held throughout the season, offer a series of exciting competitions for motorsports enthusiasts. To stay updated on upcoming events and plan your trip accordingly, regularly check the Nürburgring’s event calendar.

Arriving at the Nürburgring: Navigating Your Way to the Legendary Track

Getting to the Nürburgring can be an adventure in itself. There are two main ways people typically reach the track: driving their own vehicle or flying and renting a car at the airport. Each option has its advantages and considerations, so it’s essential to choose the method that best suits your preferences and needs.

1. Driving to the Nürburgring

Many enthusiasts opt to drive their own vehicles to the Nürburgring. This option allows you to have your own car on hand for driving on the track and exploring the picturesque Eifel region. If you live within a reasonable driving distance, this can be the most convenient and cost-effective option.

However, keep in mind that driving long distances can be tiring, and you’ll want to ensure you’re well-rested for your time on the track. Additionally, consider the potential wear and tear on your vehicle, particularly if you’re planning to drive it on the Nordschleife. Make sure your car is in top condition and properly serviced before embarking on your journey.

2. Flying and Renting a Car at the Airport

For those who live further away or prefer not to drive their own vehicle, flying into one of the nearby airports and renting a car can be a great alternative. The closest airports to the Nürburgring are Cologne-Bonn (CGN), Düsseldorf (DUS), and Frankfurt (FRA). Each of these airports offers numerous rental car options, allowing you to choose the perfect vehicle for your needs, whether you’re looking for a high-performance sports car or a more practical option for exploring the region.

When renting a car, be sure to check the rental agency’s policies regarding driving on the Nürburgring, as some companies have specific restrictions or requirements. Additionally, consider purchasing insurance coverage for your rental car, particularly if you plan to drive on the track.

Regardless of your chosen mode of transportation, be prepared for the possibility of traffic and potential delays, especially during peak travel times or special events at the Nürburgring. By planning your route and allowing for adequate travel time, you’ll ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey to the legendary track.

Renting a Racing Car: Enhance Your Nürburgring Experience

For those who want to take their Nürburgring adventure to the next level, renting a racing car is an exhilarating option. A wide variety of companies around the track offer high-performance vehicles specifically prepared for the Nordschleife, ensuring you have the ultimate driving experience. Here are some key points to consider when renting a racing car for your Nürburgring trip:

1. Choosing the Right Racing Car

When selecting a rental car, consider your personal driving preferences, skill level, and budget. Rental companies offer a diverse range of vehicles, from hot hatches and sports sedans to high-powered supercars and even purpose-built track cars. Take the time to research the available options and choose a car that aligns with your desired driving experience and skill level.

For those new to the Nürburgring or track driving, I recommend starting with a slow vehicle, such as a VW Golf GTI, VW Polo. These cars offer a good balance between performance and drivability, allowing you to build confidence and improve your skills on the track. As you gain experience, you can consider moving up to more powerful and specialized racing cars.

2. Rental Company Considerations

When selecting a racing car rental company, there are several factors to consider. Look for reputable companies with positive reviews and a proven track record for customer satisfaction. Make sure the company has a clear understanding of the Nürburgring’s unique challenges and requirements and that their cars are properly prepared and maintained for track use.

Also, inquire about the company’s policies regarding track use, insurance coverage, and any additional fees or charges that may apply. Some rental companies may require you to purchase their specific insurance coverage for driving on the Nürburgring, while others may allow you to use your own coverage or even waive the requirement entirely.

3. Additional Services and Support

Many racing car rental companies offer a range of additional services to enhance your track experience. This may include options like professional instruction, data logging and analysis, in-car video recording, and even pre-booked track time. Consider taking advantage of these services to make the most of your time on the Nordschleife and learn from experienced professionals who know the track inside and out.

4. Booking and Preparation

Once you’ve chosen your rental car and company, make your reservation well in advance, as popular vehicles and track days can fill up quickly. Before your rental day, familiarize yourself with the car’s specifications, controls, and handling characteristics.

Renting a racing car for your Nürburgring trip can provide an unparalleled driving experience, allowing you to push your limits and create unforgettable memories on the world’s most iconic track. With careful planning and consideration, you’ll be well on your way to an adrenaline-fueled adventure you’ll never forget.

A Variety of Lodging Options: Hotels, Hostels, and Camping

You’ll find numerous accommodation options around the Nürburgring, catering to a wide range of preferences and budgets. Options include hotels, guesthouses, and hostels, many of which are located within a short distance from the track. For a more adventurous experience, consider camping at one of the track’s campgrounds, such as Camping am Nürburgring or Camping Müllerwiese, which offer a unique opportunity to stay close to the action and connect with fellow motorsports enthusiasts.

Keep in mind that accommodations can fill up quickly, especially during special events, so it’s essential to book early. Don’t forget to read reviews and research the amenities offered by each lodging option to ensure it meets your needs and preferences.

Driving on the track: Public Driving Sessions (Touristenfahrten) vs. Track Days

There are two main ways to experience the adrenaline rush of the Nürburgring: public driving sessions (Touristenfahrten) and track days. Touristenfahrten are open to anyone with a road-legal vehicle, allowing you to test your skills on the legendary track alongside drivers of varying experience levels. This option offers flexibility and spontaneity, making it a popular choice among first-time visitors.

On the other hand, track days are organized events with a limited number of participants, providing a more controlled driving experience with like-minded enthusiasts. These events typically feature additional benefits such as professional coaching, technical support, and dedicated track time, allowing you to focus on honing your skills and enjoying the thrill of driving on the Nordschleife.

Estimating Costs for Accommodations, Activities, and Transportation

A trip to the Nürburgring can vary greatly in cost, depending on factors such as accommodations, transportation, and activities. Accommodation costs can range from €50-€200 per night, while a lap ticket for Touristenfahrten costs €35. Track day entry fees can vary depending on the organizer and the specific event, often starting at 1000 euros.

Car rentals, insurance, and fuel expenses can also add to your overall budget. Keep in mind that driving on the Nordschleife can be demanding on your vehicle, so be prepared for potential maintenance costs, such as tire replacements.

Simple Nürburgring Trip Summary

Yeah, lots of things to remember, but follow these simple steps to plan your trip and experience the thrill of driving on the world’s most iconic track:

1. Reserve Your Dream Car

Start by booking a car at a reputable rental company near the Nürburgring. Choose a high-performance vehicle that matches your skill level and driving preferences for the ultimate experience. My tip: choose a car with an automatic gearbox so that you can focus on driving.

Famous Lorelei Rock

The most famous of all Rhine legends has its origin at the only 130-metre wide narrow part of the Rhine near St. Goarshausen. Steep cliffs leave no room for the current here and many ship accidents nourished the fairy tale of the fair blonde who, high up on the rock, confused the boatmen's senses. Many myths entwine themselves around this place. In the 19th century Clemens Brentano transferred the name of the rock, which pushes far into the river bed, to the enchanting blonde woman. Visit and Drive the Nürburgring Nordschleife – Read this first so you don’t make my mistakes

EFTM - 100% HUMAN

In the words of The Fonz , I was w… I was Wr… I was Wrong… And I want to give you all the information you need to absolutely enjoy the Nürburgring Nordschleife if you ever get a chance to make it to this legendary race-track in Germany.

tourist drives nordschleife

We had a spare day in Germany, and as soon as I knew that, I wanted to visit the Nordschleife – this is a race track with such legend associated with it, it would be mad not to catch a glimpse, or even get a look at the road itself. And that word Road, that’s where I got it most wrong.

A quick google and a decent read of the official website for the Nürburgring and I realised that there were a couple of options to be on the Nordschleife. One would be a hosted day with a car brand doing some sort of driver training or vehicle evaluation. That’s not on the cards – this time. Then there would be a “Track Day” – we’ve all seen the videos of those cars rolling into barriers and spinning out as the drivers ran out of talent.

But on that website I also found the section “HOW TO: TOURIST DRIVES” – this was a simple video that explained where you get in, how you had to get a ticket to be allowed on and all such things.

They are known as Touristenfahrten – which, directly translated means “Tourist Rides” – I thought “this is perfect” – I wanted to experience the track, something I’ve done in so many games, but in real life – kinda like how I take laps of Mount Panorama any time I’m within cooee of Bathurst.

Trying to understand just how it worked, I watched their other video with rules and instructions:

On their Safety page, it clearly states that “The provisions of the German Road Traffic Ordinance (StVO) shall apply. Overtaking on the right is prohibited.”, and that “The speed limit shown must be observed.”

So, I figured, there’d be a bit of an “autobahn rule” on the big straights, and then some speed signs on the twisty bits.

When we turned up there were cars with roll cages, high end sports cars, and some absolute clunkers. A real mix. In my mind I was thinking “Geez, If I had a Porsche GT3RS I’d take it to a track day, but I guess a Tourist Drive is a way to learn the track.

Well, let me tell you – NOPE – Touristenfahrten means TRACK DAY.

We exited the entrance boom gates, and cars hit the gas, big time. I realised very quickly we’d made a huge mistake – but there’s no way to exit for 20+km!

I was not going slow, by any means, on some stretches we pushed 170, and in some gentle turns 100+, but also on the tighter stuff I was very much in the way.

And yes, the car lovers of the area, and the Germans themselves really do wanna hate on me – the comments on my TikTok show that. But they need to realise, this shit is WILD and these timeslots should simply be called “Public Track Days”.

Lots of narks about taking a Rental car, and yeah, that was dumb, if we’d had any issue, we’d be uninsured. But again, I thought it was an open road during these times, not a race track.

Now, for those that narked on about the Rental Car, yep, in breach of their Terms and Conditions. But the penalty? They end your rental. Well, I’ve already handed the car back – so thanks for the ride:)

But, I wouldn’t have driven any differently in a rented race car for my first lap either. You build up to these things.

So, here’s my recommendations on how to Enjoy the Nürburgring Nordschleife as a tourist.

Firstly, rent a car that’s made for this and insured for this. If I’d seen this just a day earlier, I’d have done it, no question.

tourist drives nordschleife

Ringfreaks have a range of cars, and the cost includes the track access – $270, $100 of which is what it costs to do two laps in your own car – very good value.

They even have a Model 3 Performance if you wanna lash out

tourist drives nordschleife

With your bum in the seat, enjoy lap one. When you get onto the long back straight before the start/finish complex, ease up, don’t exit and head for the boomgate on-track and do another lap.

Give it some, enjoy it, and smile.

The best part, once you get back to your hotel, and while you’re still smiling, head to RaceTracker – this website is where all the pro photographers around the circuit upload their photos too.

tourist drives nordschleife

And, it’s wild. Filter by car brand, time of day, and when you find yourself, you can just show “more of me” – using Number Plate recognition, you’ll get several great shots! Between $15 and $25 each a great momento of your day out.

Absolutely outstanding.

What’s better – Nordschleife or Mount Panorama?

A mate asked me this, right after I drove the Nordschleife, and I’ve gotta tell you, the top of the mountain, from Skyline through to Forrest’s Elbow is the greatest bit of race track you’ll experience – even at 60km/h sticking to the left.

As an experience, unless some how you sign up for a Bathurst Track Day, I think Nordschleife “Tourist Drives” are about as good as it gets for a nufty with a bit of space cash.

Note: The Stig’s Identity as my cameraman has been disguised in these photos to protect the intrigue 🙂

2024 Nurburgring Prices and how to get Free Laps

Alex Gassman

Nurburgring ticket barrier

With the cost of everything going up, are Nurburgring prices going up too? How much is a Nurburgring ticket going to cost you? Is it cheaper to buy a season ticket? How can you get free bonus laps? Are Nurburgring track days better value?

We look at all this and more in this article.

Nurburgring prices for Touristenfahrten in 2024

If you want to purchase individual lap tickets, the Nordschleife ticket price for 2024 is as follows:

  • Monday – Thursday: 30 Euros per lap
  • Friday – Sunday: 35 Euros per lap
  • Public holidays: 35 Euros per lap.

Keep your eye on the Nurburgring twitter page. Once in a blue moon they offer discounted lap tickets for a particular tourist driving session, like they did on the 31st March 2022:

Tourist Drives for 20 quid 😎 1 hour longer, 5 euros cheaper 👏 ➡ Thursday, 31 March | 04:00 - 06:30 PM ➡ Tourist drives Nordschleife Photo: @RingRaceShoot pic.twitter.com/1Uqdo6QEJt — Nürburgring (@nuerburgring) March 24, 2022

Nurburgring Grand Prix track tourist driving prices

On select days throughout the year, the Nurburgring Grand Prix Strecke (GP track) will also be available for tourist drives.  The entrance locations for the Nordschleife and GP track tourist sessions are in different locations – so make sure you know where you’re going.

The GP track tourist drives are held in 15 minute sessions, and the cost of one 15 minute session is the same regardless of which day of the week it is.

  • Monday – Sunday (including public holidays): 35 Euros per 15 minute session

How to buy nurburgring lap tickets

Since 2017, you have been able to pre-pay for your Nurburgring tickets by signing up to an account on the Nurburgring website   and loading your account with Euros. Your account dashboard allows you to view your transaction and lapping history, as well as providing some real-time information on the track such as the weather, webcams and its open / closed status.

Nurburgring tourist driving dashboard showing circuit and weather information

You can  download a QR code from your account, which you would then need to send to your phone (easiest may be to take a picture of it with your camera on your phone). The barriers to enter the Ring have QR code readers which you can then show this code to.

QR Code for the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap tickets

There used to be Nurburgring app which allowed you to view all of this data and top up your account easily from your phone, but this has been removed from the Android and Apple app stores.

Physical tickets

You can still purchase physical Nurburgring tickets as well, in the form of a Nurburgring Green Hell card. Your online Nurburgring account allows you to assign a card to your profile, so your current account balance can be mirrored on your card and this can be used to get you through the barriers. You can view your current cards or deactivate them if you need to.

You don’t have to use the online loading system at all if you don’t want to. You can just go and buy a physical ticket and ask the attendant to load X number of Euros on to it for you.

You can purchase your physical tickets from the following locations:

  • The ticket office in the car park opposite the Nurburgring entrance  (often a big queue on busy days)
  • The ED Tankstelle petrol station just a couple of minutes drive away from the Nordschleife entrance
  • The Ring Info centre on the Nurburgring boulevard, near to the rollercoaster

Nurburgring green hell card for lap tickets

Want to know how busy it currently is at the Ring? Check out the live Nurburgring webcams to get an idea of how long you might need to queue to buy a ticket, or get through the entry barriers.

Also check the opening hours before heading to the circuit to make sure it’s actually open.

If you are hiring a Nurburgring rental car , check with the company whether lap tickets are included or not – normally they offer packages both with and without laps. If you want to film your laps in the rental car, most companies will have some kind of camera mount setup in the car already. If not, make sure you’re aware of the filming and camera rules.

Before you head out on track you will want to check out the official Nurburgring rules for Tourist Driving. Familiarise yourself with these – they’ll help keep you and everyone else safe.

Green Hell Credits - free Nurburgring bonus laps

There is also a bonus system which awards you free Green Hell Credits (GHCs) depending on how much you load on to your account in bulk. GHCs can be redeemed against the cost of laps, where 1 GHC = 1 Euro. These are the bonus tiers:

  • 0-99 Euros – 0% bonus
  • 100-199 Euros – 10% bonus GHCs
  • 200-499 Euros – 15% bonus GHCs
  • 500+ Euros – 20% bonus GHCs

To see how many GHCs you will be awarded for loading a given amount of Euros on to your account, log in to your Nurburgring driving account and click on the My GHD tab.

There are 4 options to load your account, the first 3 are pre-set amounts where it shows you the amount of bonus GHCs awarded. The 4th option is a user-defined amount, where you enter the amount you want to load and it shows you the bonus credits you will receive.

Nurburgring prices shown for tourist driving laps

The minimum amount you can load on your account to get one free weekday lap is 200 Euros. For this you will get a 15% bonus, so you will be awarded 30 Green Hell Credits.

The minimum amount you need to load to get a free weekend lap is 235 Euros; the 15% bonus will give you 35 bonus GHCs.

Bear in mind that because of the tiered bonus system, you would get 30 credits if you loaded 200 Euros on to your account in one go. If, however, you did two separate loads of 100 Euros, which is in the 10% bonus tier, you would get two bonuses of 10 GHCs, so only 20 credits in total and not enough to redeem a full lap on weekend nor weekday.

tourist drives nordschleife

Above are a couple of examples of how many GHCs would be awarded for different Euro load amounts. Loading 600 Euros on to your account would give you 120 bonus Green Hell Credits.

If you were only going to do weekday laps at a cost of 30 Euros a lap, you would get 20 laps from your original load of 600 Euros, plus another 4 laps from your 120 bonus credits. So a total of 24 laps, which you can either think of as getting 4 free laps, or you paid 600 Euros for 24 laps which averages out to be 25 Euros a lap.

If you are planning to do a good number of laps, think about loading your card in bulk to gain from the higher tiered bonuses.

Season ticket / Saisonkarte 2024 nurburgring prices

In 2024 the cost for the yearly season ticket is  3000 Euros. With this you get an unlimited number of laps to be used on any of the tourist driving sessions across the whole year, on both the Nordschleife and the Nurburgring GP track.

The Nurburgring are offering an early-bird discount on season ticket purchases for 2024. If you purchase a ticket before the 22nd December 2023 you will save 250 Euros, so the season ticket will cost you 2750 Euros.

As a season ticket holder you get some other benefits like a personalised card, a Nordschleife trackwalk, ‘backstage’ access to NLS endurance races, a 20 Euro voucher for the fan shop, 10% off one purchase of track photos at Racetracker.de and a few more things that seem barely worthwhile and slightly insulting considering you’re shelling out 3 grand!

Click here for more info on the season ticket and a full list of the benefits.

To make the season ticket worthwhile, you need to do a good number of laps. The numbers below are how many laps you would need to do to break even on the cost of the Nurburgring season ticket against buying individual laps. If you do more than the breakeven number of laps over a year, the season ticket becomes better value.

Full price season ticket

Nurburgring ticket costs and prices 2023

These numbers above do not include the free laps you might get from bonus Green Hell Credits, as mentioned earlier. Bear those in mind if you are weighing up whether a season ticket is worth it or not, as buying in big chunks to get the discounts will push the breakeven point higher.

For example, if you bought lap tickets in a 500 Euro block to get the maximum 20% bonus, you would receive 600 GHCs. This gives you 20 bonus weekday laps at 30 Euros each, or 17 bonus weekend laps at 35 Euros each.

Nurburgring track day prices

You may wonder whether doing a track day at the Ring is better value than tourist laps. If you haven’t already, check out our post on Nurburgring Track Days where we discuss the benefits of a track day over tourist driving, and also share a few tips on what to look out for when booking a track day.

Be mindful that different trackday providers at the Ring have different policies on third party liability, as discussed in that post.

We have put together a comprehensive list of the track days at the Ring in 2023. List of Nurburgring trackdays in 2023

To compare the value of track days to toursit driving, take this Nurburgring track day with Circuit Days, a cost of £599 or 670 Euros. To buy a weekend lap ticket for Touristenfahrten is now 35 Euros, meaning 20 laps or more during the trackday would bring the per-lap cost down to less than the 35 Euros of a TF lap.

20 laps in one trackday would be good going, but with no closures and some consecutive lapping  then it is feasible.
