Following a four-year hiatus from releasing new material, progressive metal quartet After The Burial have returned with Embrace The Infinity, which consists of two new tracks titled “Nothing Gold” and “Death Keeps Us From Living,” produced by prominent heavy music producer Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose, Vein). The new tracks follow 2019’s monolithic effort Evergreen, and tackles the familiar themes of isolation, loss, and hopelessness that arise in such uncertain times. However, in true After The Burial fashion, they are brought to life with a healthy dose of resilience and perseverance that is palpable in every sense. The result is a triumphant step forward into the band’s future, set to the backdrop of evocative vocals, intricate guitar riffs, and inventive rhythms that further push the sonic boundaries of their core sound. Reflecting on the harrowing new single “Nothing Gold,” which details the band’s unique experience with the COVID-19 lockdowns, Notarmaso reveals, “I remember feeling like nothing lasts forever, and I think these are probably some of my darkest lyrics to date. You can truly sense how I felt when listening to the song, and to this day, it still brings me right back to that place every time.” Even in crisis, After The Burial, who consists of Notarmaso, along with Trent Hafdahl (guitar), Dan Carle (drums), and Adrian Oropeza (bass), managed to craft compelling new music to not only keep the show rolling but provide solace and healing for themselves more than anything else. Today, they are happy to reveal that they have grown exponentially and gained a valuable new perspective. Perhaps the most vulnerable song of the pair is “Death Keeps Us From Living,” which touches on the painful loss of several loved ones and, in many ways, Notarmaso’s intimate and personal ruminations on his mortality. “Fear will keep you from living your life and going after your dreams,” Notarmaso states. “This song is about healing and moving on. I think that’s why After The Burial is still a band. We’re resilient and all we can do is keep moving forward. If my pain can help even one person, I will make that sacrifice for the rest of my life.” After The Burial are looking forward to their most prolific era yet. They are putting the finishing touches on their yet-to-be-announced seventh studio album, and will soon embark on a massive North American tour. The band’s return comes during a pivotal time as heavy music is experiencing a significant surge in popularity, with new listeners discovering the genre rapidly. Notarmaso couldn’t agree more, adding, “It’s about time, and it’s exciting for all of the fans, more than anything. They are just going to continue to get a ton of really cool music.”

After The Burial have given a proper digital release to their first new music since 2019’s “ Evergreen “. The songs “ Nothing Gold ” and “ Death Keeps Us From Living ” mark the band’s return and are streaming below. They arrive under a the banner of a two-song single titled “ Embrace The Infinity “.

Additionally, a music video directed by Erez Bader for “ Nothing Gold ” from the technical metalcore outfit has also newly landed online.

After The Burial will be joining Spiritbox on the road for a North American tour this spring. Intervals have been booked to open that trek.

A 3-year-old boy stabbed by a woman in a grocery store parking lot in Ohio has died in what investigators believe was a random attack, police said. The boy's mother was injured during the attack.

The boy and his mother were going back to their vehicle after shopping at the Giant Eagle grocery on Monday when a woman ran at them with a knife, stabbing both of them, police said .

Several North Olmsted police officers took the suspect into custody, while other officers gave first aid to both victims.

The boy later died at a hospital. Authorities identified him as Julian Wood, CBS affiliate WOIO-TV reported .

North Olmsted police identified the suspect as Bionca Ellis, 32, of Cleveland, the station reported. She was taken into custody at the scene in North Olmsted, a Cleveland suburb, police said.

"Our most sincere heartfelt thoughts are with the victims of this horrible and senseless event today," North Olmstead firefighters said in a social media post .

Police did not release the identity of the boy's mother or her condition.

"Our hearts go out to the two victims of what appears to be a random act of violence," North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones wrote in a statement.

The stabbing happened at the same Giant Eagle where a  murder-suicide  took place in June last year, WOIO-TV reported.

The band continued with fan-favorite songs and collaborations such as “CRAZYZ,” “SABOR FRESA,” “BARBIEZ,” “TQM,” and “Que Onda” (joined by Pacas on this first tour night). They also interpreted popular covers like “El Muchacho Alegre,” famously sung by Pedro Infante and many other música mexicana icons, and “Desvelado” by Bobby Pulido. The band also took a moment to slow down their hype and perform songs like “Una Cerveza” more intimately.

Furthermore, “Chingas A Tu Madre,” their joint track with Grupo Frontera “Bebe Dame,” “911,” and their remix with Tiagz and El Alfa “TACATA” were also part of this setlist. The band closed the show with “HARLEY QUINN,” which remains one of their most streamed songs today.

This tour’s stage layout is a 360-degree center stage that echoes Mexico’s famous palenque-style concerts. Beaming strobe lights that shoot up to the venue’s roof surround the stage as part of the spectacle.

NEW YORK (AP) — A man and woman who sold pro-Donald Trump merchandise out of a bus covered with pro-Trump flags and posters are homeless after the vehicle crashed into several street signs and utility poles in New York City.

The crash happened around noon on Sunday on Staten Island, the Fire Department said.

Donna Eiden, who had been living in the bus with her husband, Rocky Granata, and their cat, Missy, told the Staten Island Advance that she was sleeping inside the parked vehicle when when it began to roll along Hylan Boulevard, crashing into signs and poles in its path.

Photos of the crash’s aftermath show the side of the bus ripped to shreds and Trump signs scattered about.

“That’s our life, we live in it; we travel in it. I have my daughter’s ashes in it,” Eiden told the Advance. “It’s our business. It’s our life.”

Eiden had to be extracted from the wrecked vehicle, firefighters said. She did not require medical treatment.

The bus had been a frequent presence at Trump rallies around the country before it crashed.

DUBLIN, Ohio — Ice cream, some milk, some chocolate pieces, a little peanut butter or some other mix-ins swirled together. Whether they are enjoying the famous Buckeye or perhaps another flavor, milkshakes have become synonymous with the Memorial Tournament, but nothing is more iconic than the sight of Jack Nicklaus shaking hands with the players as they walk off the 18th green on Sunday.

Temperatures at Muirfield Village are not expected to soar into the 90s this week, but the cool air in the merchandise tent is waiting for golf lovers who want to bring home something special, and there is plenty of cool stuff to be had.

In addition to a rainbow of Stanley water bottles and hats, there are plenty of flags, t-shirts and accessories adorned with the tournament logo, depictions of Nicklaus and more.

Sadly, there is not a to-go milkshake shop inside the tent, but here is a look at at some of the gear fans will be buying at the 2024 Memorial Tournament.
