Day 1 -  arrival at guwahati | transfer to shillong.

Day 2 -  Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong[ 1 hr 58 min (56.4 km)via SH 5 and Pomlakrai-Laitlyngkot Road ]

After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji.

In the mid-way, visit Shillong Peak to have a delightful vision of the whole time

Also, visit the Garden of caves, Elephant falls and discover the Mawsmai Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, which will leave you fascinated.

Enjoy the beautiful evening.

Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Shillong.

Day 3 - Shillong to Bhalukpong (300 Kms / 6 hrs.)

After breakfast time, I started the trip to Bhalukpong.

Shift to Bhalukpong, the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Check-in to the hotel later than way in and enjoy the evening in my free time.

Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 4 -  Bhalukpong - Dirang | Dirang Sightseeing [ 3 hr 28 min (130 km)via Chariduar - Tawang Rd and NH13 ]

After breakfast, I transferred to Dirang.

On the way, visit Tipi On the banks of the river Bharali at a height of 190 mtrs having an orchidarium with over 500 orchids.

On your next drive, take a break to visit Nag Temple.

Check in to the hotel on arrival.

Visit apple and kiwi farms in the afternoon (depending upon the season), Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery.

Overnight stay at Dirang

Day 5 -  Dirang to Tawang (130 kms / 7 hrs.)

After breakfast take the thrilling road trip to arrive at Tawang.

On the way, enjoy the image of Sela Pass and Sela Lake. A little drive of about 10 km will take you to Jaswantgarh War Memorial.

Later visit Nuranang Falls.

Arrive & make sure in the hotel.

Evening is free for your spare time.

Day 6 -  Tawang Local Sightseeing

Post tasty breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery

Later visit Urgelling Gompa, 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place and go on to the War Memorial.

Visit the craft center in Tawang that sells gorgeous masks, hand woven carpets, jewelry in silver, coral and amber.

Evening at leisure.

Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 7 - Tawang to Bomdila (170 kms / 06 hrs.)

Wake up and have a delicious breakfast.

Shift to Bomdila. (8,200 ft.).

On arrival check in to the hotel.

Visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa) and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa) later than calming.

At Night you can visit the local area marketplace and spend some free time.

Overnight stay at Bomdila.

Day 8 -  Bomdila to Guwahati (270 kms / 08 hrs.)

After breakfast, move to Guwahati.

On the way, crossing the 1.4km long river bridge gives a wonderful view of Brahmaputra River.

On Arrival, check in at your hotel and take a rest.

Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 9 -  Guwahati Local Sightseeing

Day 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK   (365 Kms – 7 Hrs Drive)

After morning breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel/Lodge/resort, Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 05: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – DIRANG (250 Kms / 7 Hrs) Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world’s endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world’s population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher’s paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla’s Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast & then we will experience a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. After then leave Kaziranga for Dirang.

Dirang is famous for its apples. It has also started Kiwi cultivation in the winter. En-route visit Nag Temple and Asia’s third largest Orchidarium at Tipi where you can see over 7500 orchids from a collection of about 300 species, some of them are very rare. Day 06: DIRANG – TAWANG   (146kms. / 5hrs Drive)

Early in the morning, leave for Tawang. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – the Sela Pass which runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. On the way cross the National Yak Research and Breeding Centre, Natural Hot Water Spring and Jaswantgarh.Jaswantgarh is a memorial to the brave soldier who single handedly tried to hold of the approaching Chines from the pass during the 1962 Indo – Chinese war. The stupa like Tawang war Memorial also salutes the heroes of the war. On arrival at Tawang, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Tawang.

Day 07: TAWANG In the morning go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. Visit the War Memorial, the Handicrafts Centre, 6th Dalai Lama’s Birth Place  and finally the three hundred year old Tawang Monastery, the second largest Buddhist Monastery after Lhasa’s Potala. Day 08:  TAWANG  – BHALUKPONG    (285 KM. / 07 hrs approx) After morning breakfast, we will depart for Bhalukpong.

We visited North East, mainly Kaziranga and Shillong, Cherapunji with NatureWings in last December with my family and friends. We were looking for the North East Package Tour in internet and got the NatureWings name along with few others. After Availing their service, we are very happy and fully confident that we have chosen the right partner for North East Tour. In our group, we have 3 families with 4 kids and kids were particularly excited about the Kaziranga Jungle Safari to see the One-Horn rhino from the stone throwing distance. Our tour started from Guwahati and first we visited Kaziranga National Park. In Kaziranga Western Range, we took the early morning Kaziranga Elephant Safari . It was an amazing experience as through elephant safari in Kaziranga Western range, we went to very close to the One-horn Rhino teams. In the afternoon we went to Kaziranga Central Range for the Kaziranga Jeep Safari . In the open hood Jeep, we entered into the central range, which is consists of mainly tall grass and we could locate Rhinos from little bit distance. Our Kids were extremely happy to enjoy the both Kajiranga Jungle Safari. From Kaziranga we went to shilong and Cherapunji, where we have enjoyed all the sightseeing including Dawki River and Seven Sister Falls. Our Special thanks to Mr. Sandip Raha, Director NatureWings and his entire North East Team who made our trip perfectly flawless and memorable. We will certainly take their help in future travel and recommend to others too.

We have taken Kaziranga and Arunachal Trip through NatureWings in this year January month. It was Nine Nights trip with my three friends and their families. Our trip includes Kaziranga, Tawang, Dirang, Bomdila and Bhalukpong. We are from Mumbai and we got the reference of NatureWings from one of my close friend, who took the North East Package from NatureWings last year and suggested me to take the Kaziranga Package Tour along with Arunachal with NatureWings only as they were extremely happy with NatureWings Service. So after a discussion, we did lots of customization as our choice and they revised the itinerary happily so many times. We have planned for Kaziranga Jungle Safari for long and our first day was in Kaziranga Jungle and on the next day early morning we took the famous Kaziranga Elephant Safari . It was only once in a life time experience as we could see the One Horn Rhinos just from few metre distance. In the afternoon, we took the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in the central range and that too was great experience. We stayed in a nice resort close to Kaziranga Western Range and resort was very beautiful with nice ambience, food and service were extremely good. Next day, we started for Western Aurnachal and we visited Bomdila, Tawang, Diranga and Bhalukpong and overall Arunachal experience was also very good. Thank you NatureWings for providing best experience in our North East Package.

We had visit the Kaziranga forest with Naturewings this January and it was an awesome experience. Kaziranga Sanctuary has a variety of flora and fauna, the one horn rhino, tiger and elephants could be seen from here, with a variety of birds. We woke up early in the morning that day for the Kaziranga elephant safari, it was about an hour we had the trip. We had the luck to see the Rhinos just at a few meters of distance from us. After finishing the safari we had a great breakfast at our hotel (which was booked by Naturewings team) and went for a drive to the part of the Kaziranga, Kaziranga Central range to enjoy the Jeep Safari in Kaziranga through the dense forest. NatureWings has arranged everything perfectly for Kaziranga Jungle Safari and we had a really good time there and highly satisfied with service of NatureWings. Will recommend all of my friends or family to go with them only.

Kaziranga is the best place to spot endangered One Horned Rhino. This sanctuary is divided in 4 ranges and the western and central ranges are the best to spot the Rhinos. It has to be done through the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in central range or the Kaziranga Elephant Safari in western range which anyone will love to go for. The elephant safari gets start by 5.30 in the morning and tickets were arranged by Naturewings team. We had a zeep safari so got a chance to see the lush greenery of the dense forest from the close. We spotted the tiger from a long distance luckily and got the glimpse of the famous one horn rhino. The best part of the trip is we avail the full service of Naturewings which was extremely satisfactory and hassle free. We thank Mr. Raha and his team for all their help and making our trip memorable.

Remarkable Experience, It was my first visit with NatureWings to Shillong, Cherapunji & most importantly Kaziranga National Park in the mid Feb. The best part to highlight is about Kaziranga Elephant Safari in Bagori Range though we have experience both Kaziranga Jeep Safari & Elephant Safari . But Elephant Safari was really unforgettable; It gives us better view of One-horned Rhino, dense forest & other wildlife. We must suggest all to visit Kaziranga National park and experience Kaziranga Jungle Safari and get the experience of staying at the forest. Last but not the least, I would like to give special thanks to NatureWings team who just haven't book the perfect hotels and all other arrangements, they have taken care of every small points and organised perfectly which made our trip a remarkable one.
