The tour had a moderate success on tickets sales. A week after the Asian dates were released, it was announced that 13,000 tickets was sold for Osaka, Japan. It also went really well in South America, where more than 55,000 tickets was sold, with price averaging $75-$120. All the tickets that went on sale for the first show in São Paulo, was completely sold out on the same day. The concert held in Rio de Janeiro and Caracas had the higher grossings for the South American leg. In China, extra concerts was added for the second Asian leg, in Beijing and Guangzhou where Avril played for 10,000 fans at Guangzhou Gymnasium. In August 24, 2011 Avril ranked #15 position at Billboard boxscore due both shows in São Paulo, which grossed $980,009 combined. The tour has grossed $35,000,000 dollars, with 61 concerts.

Incidents [ ]

The concerts in Japan were scheduled to happen in May 2011. However, because of the earthquake disaster, she decided, out of respect for Japanese families, to reschedule the concerts to February 2012, when she finally played in Japan. On July 26, Lavigne got stuck at Ezeiza Airport in Buenos Aires due to a volcano, almost making her cancel the first concert in São Paulo. She arrived in Brazil just four hours before the concert time, where more than 7,000 fans were waiting at the arena. During this show she thanked her team for solving the situation and made the concert happen.

The show was good but very short. Not a lot of songs from her new album. Was disappointing to say the least - especially for a hometown show. We would have loved to hear more complete versions from her new album.

Hi I really enjoyed the show, despite being somewhat short. I bought a red rose for her and when she was singing in front of our section, I noticed she smiled. I resent not taking a picture. I have been a fan of hers since 2002.

This was my first time seeing Avril Lavigne. She did a lot of old songs and messed up the ending of Happy Endings. She did a few new songs. Overall I had fun.

The Results Are In: Kendrick Lamar Won the Great Rap War

Everything that's happened in the drake-kendrick beef, tommy lee wins round in helicopter sexual assault lawsuit, drake's security guard shot outside his toronto home, rapper uninjured.

Lavigne is celebrating another full circle moment with Simple Plan joining the tour, sharing: “They toured with me on my very first tour, so it’s only fitting we are doing it again!” Speaking of All Time Low, she added: “My boys! Hey hey! You you! Wanna see a concert?

Well, good news! Avril Lavigne has just announced her Greatest Hits Tour in North America. Over twenty years after her first album Let Go broke Canadian sales records, she’ll be crossing the US and her home country to play some of her biggest songs. The tour will kick off with several dates in late June and early July before taking a break so she can rock some festivals in Europe and the UK. Then she’ll be back to the US and Canada in August and September.

Avril’s career has thrived on putting the “pop” in pop-punk, with seven studio albums and, with the addition of Greatest Hits, eight headlining tours. Her Love Sux Tour, to promote her 2022 album of the same name, will actually be wrapping in the middle of the Greatest Hits Tour, hence the European dates. Let no one say this woman does not keep busy.

Support for the tour will include Simple Plan, Royal & The Serpent and Girlfriends on select dates.

Whether you’re in it for the whole discography or just wanna sing-cry to “Complicated” or scream along to “Girlfriend,” you’re pretty much guaranteed to get what you want at this show. Presales will start January 24 at 10 AM local time and general on sale begins January 26 at 10 AM local time. More info is available via her official website . You can also check out special VIP packages and a chance to hang in the SKATER BOI Hospitality Lounge.

Avril Lavigne Is Set to Tour America for the First Time in 5 Years — See the Dates

“When You’re Gone,” it’s only inevitable that you’ll return!

For the first time since 2014, Avril Lavigne is set to hit the road in America this fall on a 15-date trek spanning from Sept. 14 through Oct. 11.

Kicking off in Seattle, the Head Above Water Tour 2019 will conclude with a show in Philadelphia, including stops in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Boston and more.

“Hey everyone! I’m so excited to be announcing the Head Above Water Tour. It’s finally here,” Lavigne, 34, told her followers in an Instagram video on Monday.

The last time Lavigne went on tour in the United States was on The Avril Lavigne Tour, which kicked off on Dec. 1, 2013, in Hidalgo, Texas. The North American leg of the tour concluded in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on June 28, 2014 — almost exactly five years ago.

In a separate post on Instagram Monday, the Canadian singer shared that portions of the new tour’s ticket sales will benefit The Avril Lavigne Foundation , “to raise awareness & fund treatment for those in need!”

“AND … we have done something extra to add to the fun! Please go to www.CharityStars.com/AvrilTour to bid on nostalgic items from ‘The Best Damn Tour,’ my personal clothing, amazing T.B.D.T guitars from Fender, and even a brand new exclusive t-shirt and tank top — all to help us #FightLyme ,” added Lavigne, who has been open in the past about her own battle with Lyme disease .

“To thank you for your support, all participants are automatically entered to win a pair of my personal VIP seats to the show of their choice,” she continued. “Three lucky winners will be selected once the auction closes — and I hope you’re one of them!”

“Can’t wait to see you on the road. Xo Avril,” added the “Complicated” hitmaker. “PS: Check back often because I’m going to keep adding new items!”

While the fan pre-sale registration has ended, Rolling Stone reports that a Citi card pre-sale will run from Wednesday at 10 a.m. through Thursday at 10 p.m., while general ticket sales will commence on Friday at 10 a.m.
