Tanzania Tours

Tanzania is best known for being one of the host countries for the greatest wildlife show on Earth, the Great Migration. However, it has many other year-round treasures like Africa's highest mountain,  Kilimanjaro ,  Big 5 safari  adventures, Lake Victoria, cultural gems, and more. You can even combine it with a beach getaway at the nearby Zanzibar! The best time to visit Tanzania depends entirely on what you wish to do and see. However, timing is key if you want to witness the Great Migration and other animals in action, and you should then plan to visit around June to September.

Kenya Tours

Kenya, neighboring Tanzania, is also host to the Great Migration. However, it's not only the wildlife that makes this country special. The  Maasai Mara  is a colourful, culturally-rich nation and the classic de

piction of Kenya. It also has spectacular scenery, from Mount Kenya's snow-capped peak to Big 5 reserves, forests, and beaches. Kenya is also a year-round destination, but you will want to visit between July and November to witness the Great Migration when it's in town. 

Rwanda Tours

Rwanda is famous for gorilla trekking and is one of only three countries in the world where you can see them in their natural habitat (the others being Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo). The largest living primate, coming face to face with a gorilla is a moving experience. Rwanda is considered a year-round destination. However, the best time to go gorilla trekking is during the dry season, from June to September and again between January and February. Gorilla trekking in drier seasons is better because the terrain is less slippery. 

Uganda Tours

Another one of the three countries in the world where you can go gorilla trekking, Uganda, is known as the "Pearl of Africa". The source of the Nile River, you can enjoy plenty of water-based activities and safaris in the many game reserves around the country. Another highlight is seeing the unique tree-climbing lions in  Queen Elizabeth National Park ! Uganda is excellentall year, but its peak seasons are from January to February and between June to September when it's driest, making gorilla trekking easier.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and after clearing customs and immigration, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the Hotel overnight at The  Grand Melia Arusha . Dinner, breakfast

Day 2: Kilimanjaro Day Hike – Mandara Hut

On the first day, you will start your Affordable Kilimanjaro Day Hike,  we will drive you about 2 hrs through Kilimanjaro in the morning from the semi-tropical foothills to the Marangu area which situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain. On arrival at Marangu gate, you meet your team of guides and porters, pick up any last-minute supplies for the trek, and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. From the cluster of buildings at the gate, it is some four to five hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut.

Late in the evening back to Arusha Grand Melia Arusha , Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 3: Arusha- Arusha National Park

Luxury African Safari Tour  Packages: You will depart from Arusha Town in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, which’s only a short 40-minute drive from Arusha Town. Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater which is well known as the “Little Ngorongoro”. Best East Africa Safari Tours.

Day 4-5: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Amazing African Safari tours and Holidays: We will collect you from your hotel after breakfast in Arusha and following a 2-3 hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. In this region, Hemmingway often went on big game safari in East Africa. During the dry season also a haven for bird watchers with over 550 different species including the Masai Ostrich -the world’s largest bird. Around lunchtime, you will stop at a suitable picnic place before the afternoon is dedicated to more wildlife watching. Before sunset, you will be taken to Tarangire Kitela Lodge or a similar lodge overnight. Dinner, breakfast, lunch.

Day 6, 7 & 8 Serengeti National Park: Luxury African Safari

African Family Safaris: Departure from  Tarangire National park via Karatu passing Ngorongoro highland immersed to world endless plain park. The park dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. You will either go on a full-day game drive.  Or join early morning and afternoon drives in the Seronera area. Between December and May, the huge herds of wildebeests and zebras will be seen.  The calves and foals being born between January and March. The Seronera area is also the best place to spot the shy and nocturnal leopard. You will spend the night at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.  or other similar  Serengeti Kubu kubu Luxury Tented lodge/ or Lahia Serengeti Luxury Safari Lodge . Dinner, breakfast, lunch.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Best Luxury African Safari Vacations Tours: The morning is set aside for another game drive in the Serengeti and you might spot some creatures that you haven’t seen yet. Animals tend to be more active in the morning before the temperatures soar around midday. After lunch, you will leave the plains of the Serengeti and travel to the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge directly on the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge with a view over the collapsed volcano. It is a perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner at sunset. Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater-Lake Manyara

African Safari Holidays: Rise and shine! It is up at daybreak to take on the steep path leading down into the 600 m deep crater. The wildlife in the crater is just breath-taking and with a little luck, you might see the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an entire morning of game viewing and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will travel to Lake Manyara escarpment where you will overnight at Lake Manyara Kilima Moja Luxurious Safari Lodge. Dinner, breakfast, Lunch.

Day 11: Lake Manyara national park to Arusha town

 Luxury Africa Safaris and Tours: After a lovely breakfast, we leave for Lake Manyara National park for your  Safari in East Africa. A full-day game with picnic lunch boxes. This Park with its shallow alkaline lake stretches along the base of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Manyara attracts thousands of birds, including huge flocks of flamingos. Other animals in the park include buffaloes, elephants, hippos. Also a Masai giraffe as well as troops of boisterous baboons and monkeys in the forests. After a game drive in the park, you will ascend to the Ngorongoro highlands, where you will overnight on a campsite situated on the crater’s edge with magnificent views of the caldera below. Late afternoon drive to Arusha for overnight at the Grand Melia Arusha  Dinner, breakfast.

Day 12: Arusha to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight back home

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be taken to the Arusha city tour walk. Then after lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport. depending on the flight you will stay near/close the airport refreshing before boarding your home outbound flight.

Absolutely fantastic! I was with a lovely group of people, the guide and driver were brilliant and the accommodation was out of this world. Only down side is lots of travelling but the experience made up for it. Loved the Fig Tree and masi mara.

We got the best accommodation and also toured some of the best scenic places.

The dry season in Tanzania falls between June and October. It is regarded as the best time for wildlife viewing and mountain hiking safaris. The roads are passable and the grasses are short, thus enabling visitors to see wild animals.

#5. Be respectful when talking to the locals

When interacting with Tanzanian locals, watch your tone. Tanzanians are polite and won’t be impressed with any kind of harsh language. Always try to learn simple Swahili phrases to use when talking to a local. These include “ mambo vipi ?” (how are things), habari za asubuhi (how is your morning), “Asante sana” (Thank you so much), and others. By using these phrases, they can socialize with you and teach you a few more words.

 In some countries, both right and left hands are treated equally. In Tanzania, things are different. Taking things by using the left hand is considered disrespect. Always use your right when eating with locals or when passing things. When awarded a gift usually receive it in both hands. It shows respect from the receiver.

#7. Dress respectfully, especially when visiting the locals

Don’t get me wrong! They don’t plan what you should wear, but Tanzanians are conservative. When visiting their families try to put on nice clothes. If you want to be looking more like a native, try their outfits. For women, you can put on your shorts and add a khanga to look like a native.

#8. You need a visa

Except for East African citizens, other visitors coming to Tanzania need a visa. If you don’t have a Tanzanian visa , don’t worry, they’ll process it upon your arrival. Upon getting your visa, you are free to explore the natural beauty of this country.

#9. Take all necessary medication

Before you travel to Tanzania, make sure you contact your doctor about any medication. Malaria is always a threat to beginners in Tanzania. Make sure you bring some antimalarial drugs. You should also take a yellow fever vaccination. Other diseases include typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B, tetanus, and meningitis. You should consider them for immunizations.

#10. Before taking photos: Ask first

You may be amazed by Tanzanian beauty and want to take a photo. Before doing that, ask for permission first. Ask your guide to ask for you if you find it hard to speak to the locals.
