This week, anyone who registered for one of the new Eras Tour dates learned if they got the presale code, which is necessary to try and buy tickets.

In the latest round of tour date drops, Swift added three shows in Indianapolis — which, after Cincinnati, is the closest she's coming to Louisville (for now).

So if you got the code for Indianapolis, you can try buying tickets on Friday.

Here's everything you need to know before the Indianapolis sale.

Where are the shows, and what are the dates? Nov. 1-3 at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Colts play. All shows are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

When does the portal open? Friday, Aug. 11, at staggered times. Nov. 1 tickets go on sale at 11 a.m., Nov. 2 goes on sale at 1 p.m., and Nov. 3 goes on sale at 3 p.m.

Who can buy tickets? Only people who received a code via text.

How and when do I log on? Use the link that is sent in the text with your code. Ticketmaster recommends logging in at least 30 minutes prior to sale to enter the "waiting room."

How many tickets can you buy? Maximum of 4.

How much are tickets? Historically, they've ranged from as low as $49 to upwards of $500.

Does a code guarantee you tickets? No, so good luck.

Waitlisted for Taylor Swift tickets? There’s still a chance to see her in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Didn’t get a presale code for tickets to Taylor Swift’s 2024 concerts in Indianapolis ? All hope is not lost, but the odds aren’t great.

Ticketmaster has noted the Eras Tour’s unprecedented popularity, which was proven by the disaster of a day the ticket seller had during the tour’s first verified fan onsale last November.

It was the largest registration ever, with 3.5 million people registering for the sale. On the day the tickets went on sale, fans were faced with Ticketmaster website crashes, the inability to check out, and other issues. Now, it seems those kinks are worked out and millions of fans are “playing the lottery” for a shot at buying tickets.

Indianapolis “Eras Tour” hopefuls began receiving codes Tuesday for the Verified Fans Sale that begins Friday. There will be three separate sales for the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shows next November. The sales will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.

Ticketmaster says that verifying fans and limiting the number of ticket purchases keeps the bots away and provides more “true fans” the opportunity to get their hands on more affordable tickets.

It’s not known how much the tickets for the Indianapolis concert will be, but historically, tickets have ranged between $49 and $499 dollars with VIP packages available up to $899. Resale prices have been reported to start in the hundreds, with some reaching tens of thousands of dollars.

According to Lucas Oil Stadium, the seating capacity can be expanded to fit up to 70,000 people, but it’s unknown how the “Eras Tour” set design will impact the number of available seats.

If all 70,000 seats are filled three times during Swift’s Indy visit, that’s a maximum of 210,000 tickets.

Marion County’s population alone is nearly 1,000,000, and it’s proven that people travel from all around the world to witness the concert phenomenon — 3.5 million people registered for Swift’s first stops.

For those who are now on a waitlist, there’s still a chance to make it into Friday’s Verified Fans Onsale.

Verified fans are only allowed to buy up to four tickets and it’s possible not everyone will. Another possibility is, as the more affordable tickets fly off the shelves, purchasers might bail when only higher-priced tickets remain. That means as the sale moves on, Ticketmaster could invite more to join the sale.

The waitlist emails say those selected to leave the waitlist will receive a text with an access code and a link to join the ticket queue — but Ticketmaster says this still does not guarantee a ticket. Tickets are first come, first served for everyone invited into the sale. Those on the waitlist should still watch for invitations Friday.

A Ball State economist says the “Eras Tour” will bring in roughly $100 million for the Indianapolis area over the span of the three concerts.

First, during the “Lover” set, Swift hit the stage in a sparkly orange bodysuit and matching boots , which left fans, including me, in awe. She then put on a matching oversized blazer when she began performing “The Man.”

Then, during the “Fearless” set, Swift donned a new fringe dress very reminiscent of a black and grey one she wore during her 2009 “Fearless” tour .

During the “Red” era, Swift wore a new T-shirt that said “This IS NOT Taylor’s Version.” During her Paris Night 2 show, she went with a “I Bet You Think About Me” shirt .

The direct references to her past tours did not end there.

For “Speak Now,” Swift came out in a stunning new gown , which had the audience stunned. It was a faded lilac color with a ribbon pattern of gold sequins and rhinestones wrapping around the entire dress.

This gown was a direct reference to an outfit she wore during her 2011 “Speak Now” world tour.

For her “Folklore” and “Evermore” sets, Swift combined the two dresses into one. Generally, the Folklore dresses have very billowy sleeves and skirt layers that swish around as she spins across the stage while singing “August.” The “Evermore” dresses usually give off more of a fall vibe as they are more yellow, brown and rust colored.

To combine the two, Swift donned a beautiful dress in the shade of yellow , which she used for both sets. For her Night 2 show in Paris, she wore a bright fuchsia dress.

Next was the “1989″ set, where she came out in a completely new look . Swift took the stage in a bright turquoise skater skirt, which is something she wore quite often in 2015 when the album came out. She also wore a pink sparkly halter top and a mismatched pair of blue and pink Christian Louboutin ankle boots.

For Paris Night 2, she wore a purple skirt and orange top .

For the surprise song set, Swift wore a new pink dress and a new fringe bodysuit for the “Midnights” set, which closes out the show.

As much as we were dreading it, we knew song cuts would have to happen in order to add new songs to the set. The songs that were axed from the set were, “The Archer”, “Long Live”, “Tis the Damn Season”, “Tolerate It”, “The 1″ and “The Last Great American Dynasty”.

Set order change

If you have been to an “Eras Tour” show in the past, then get ready for a change up in the set.

The new order of “Eras” performed at the show is now, “Lover,” ”Fearless,” “Red,” ”Speak Now,” “Reputation,” ”Folklore” and “Evermore” as one combined set, “1989,″ ”The Tortured Poets Department,” surprise songs and ”Midnights.”

New ‘Speak Now’ visuals

This set now begins with a long, choreographed number while instrumentals from her “Speak Now” album play in the background.

There are also very purple new visuals playing as Taylor performs.

‘The Tortured Poets Department’ enters the ‘Eras Tour’ universe

This is what every fan watching through a TikTok livestream or live in concert has been waiting for.

The TTPD set comes right after “1989″ with literary themed visuals sprawling across the screens before Taylor and her dancers came out. There was new choreography , costumes and of course, a huge range of new songs.

As she sang, there were black and white visuals of stained glass, a haunted house, alien spaceships and the asylum from the “Fortnight” music video.

There was also a platform that moved around the stage as Taylor sang on it, which is something fans have not yet seen before on her tour.

Halfway through the set, Swift’s dancers lifted her while old timey, black and white film music played in the background and as she changed into a new gold and black outfit .

Planning a summer vacation in Europe usually requires an exorbitant amount of cash, but when Taylor Swift is involved, it actually might be a deal.

Fans looking to snag tickets to the European leg of her popular "Eras Tour" are finding it substantially cheaper to see Swift overseas — even with flights and hotels factored in — thanks in part to a historically strong dollar and strict European Union regulations placed on ticket resellers that make, in the words of Swift herself, anything but a cruel summer.

Jacking up prices on the European secondary market is "considered a predatory activity that reduces consumer choice and exploits consumers by charging them way higher prices than the event organizers actually intended," Sam Shemtob, managing director for ticket resale advocacy group Face-value European Alliance for Ticketing (FEAT), told CNN.

For example, secondary market ticket prices for Swift's show in Stockholm, Sweden, this Saturday are as cheap as $300 for standing room-only and seats in the nosebleed sections. Prices are just a few hundred more in prime seating locations at Friends Arena, home of the Swedish men's national football team.

Planning a last-minute trip is more expensive compared to planning months ahead, but there are some affordable ways to get to Sweden: A roundtrip flight from New York (with a connection) are running about $700 and rates at 4-star hotel about $300, according to Kayak. Altogether, that's about $1,300 before food and beverage is factored in.

Compare that to Swift's show in Miami in October where seats are selling for about $2,000 to as much as $8,500 on StubHub . Prices for her other two U.S. shows in New Orleans and Indianapolis are roughly the same.

Sweden isn't the only budget-friendly city: Prices for Swift's stops in Portugal, Spain and Germany in the coming months can be purchased as cheap as $300 to $400 a ticket — substantially cheaper the average resale price of $1,600 during her U.S. dates last year.

Although Europe's laws on ticket resale vary country by country, a number of them, including Ireland and Portugal, ban ticket sellers from making a profit on the secondary market. In France, reselling is banned unless authorized by the promoter, Shemtob said.

The EU also recently implemented the Digital Services Act for ticket resale marketplaces that "ensure professional sellers are identifiable, prevent certain manipulative sales tactics, and require regular reporting to improve transparency for consumers," according to FEAT, which lobbied for the law.

Shemtob said the difference in pricing between the U.S. and EU is because the former treats "event tickets like commodities that can be bought or sold according to market prices, but the European Court of Justice has ruled that a 'dated event ticket' is a contract between the organizer and the consumer enabling entry under specific terms and conditions — not a commodity that can just be bought and sold."

Plus, American tourists are finding their money going further: The U.S. dollar index, which measures the currency's strength against six of its peers, closed last month at its highest level since last November. Although it has faded since April, it's still strong.

For Swifties looking to jump over the pond for their London Boy , Shemtob recommends using ticket sellers such as Ticketmaster, AEG, Eventim or Twickets.

He added also be "extremely wary of using internet search, because the predatory resale platforms all pay top dollar to have their listings appear at the top of search results."

Fans who considered buying tickets to Indy shows saved money at the Eras Tour shows in Paris

American Swifties felt like they were somewhere else.

Like they were in Paris.

No, wait, they were really in Paris.

Taylor Swift is back on the road again on the Eras Tour, and she performed in Paris, France over the weekend. Several American Swifties were in attendance at the shows because they found it was more affordable to buy tickets to the Paris show — and book flights and hotels than to even buy one ticket to one of the remaining U.S. tour dates.

Taylor Swift in Indianapolis, or Paris?

While at the Eras Tour show in Paris, Stephanie Gottschalk of Wisconsin told USA Today that she was looking at taking her daughter to one of the Indianapolis concert dates, but it was actually cheaper to go to France.

"The tickets to go to Indianapolis, I checked, are like $5,000 a piece," Gottschalk told USA Today at the Eras Tour in Paris. "For us to fly here, stay in the hotel and buy the tickets was about $5,000. So half the price and we got to experience Europe. We got to see the Eiffel Tower."

Taylor Swift became a football fan when she started dating Travis Kelce in summer 2023. After attending several of his games during the 2023-2024 season, fans are likely wondering if the NFL worked around her Eras tour schedule when setting the games for the 2024-2025 season.

Did the NFL Consider Taylor Swift When Making 2024 Schedule?

The NFL confirmed they did consider Taylor’s tour schedule when making the 2024 schedule, though it wasn’t to ensure that she can attend Kansas City Chiefs games.

Mike North , who works as NFL vice president of broadcast planning, explained that the league needed to factor in her United States tour dates because all of her domestic shows are held in football stadiums, according to Fox Sports .

Taylor is scheduled to bring her Eras tour to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on October 18, 19 and 20 of 2024. Additionally, she will perform at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 25, 26 and 27 of 2024 and at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 1, 2 and 3 of 2024.

Due to the tour dates, the league had to make sure the Dolphins, Saints and Colts were scheduled to play away games when the “Cruel Summer” singer is using their stadiums .

Meanwhile, fans suspected that the NFL scheduled the Kansas City Chiefs to play against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, on November 17, 2024, because Taylor will be performing at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, that weekend. The cities are only about a two hour drive from each other , which would make it possible for Taylor to cheer on Travis following her November 16, 2024, concert.

However, Mike insisted the timing of the Chiefs game against the Bills was a coincidence. “I saw a lot of conspiracy theories talking about Kansas City at Buffalo, middle of the season, right when Taylor’s playing Toronto,” he stated. “That one definitely did not hit our radar screen.”

No, the NFL Didn't Weigh Taylor Swift's Eras Tour When Scheduling Chiefs Games

By now, everyone knows that Taylor Swift has "a guy on the Chiefs," but no, the NFL did not plan the 2024-2024 schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs to make it easier for Swift to attend the team's games.

NFL VP of broadcast planning Mike North was asked about the matter during a conference call with reporters Thursday and while he acknowledged that the league did consider Swift's Eras Tour while building the schedule (more on that below), it was not a factor when it came to the Chiefs.

That was despite the fact that the Chiefs are set to face the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo Nov. 17, just a short drive from Toronto, where Swift is set to perform her Eras Tour between Nov. 14 and 27.

"I saw a lot of conspiracy theorists talking about Kansas City at Buffalo in the middle of the season, right when Taylor's playing Toronto," North said. "That one definitely did not hit our radar screen."

That being said, North did say that the league had to take the tour into account for some other team schedules. In particular the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, and Indianapolis Colts, who all play in stadiums where Swift is scheduled to bring her Eras Tour in the fall.

"We certainly considered the tour dates that hit NFL stadiums," North said. "I think she's in Miami, maybe New Orleans, Indy. We certainly considered those."

Indeed, those teams are all scheduled to be on the road around the time Swift hits up their cities.

Swift, of course, made a handful of appearances at Chiefs games last season to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. Her appearances in the crowd drove real viewership, with the league and commissioner Roger Goodell expressing enthusiasm for the younger, female audience she is bringing to the games.

"The Taylor Swift effect is also a positive," Goodell said during a Super Bowl week press conference, adding that "it's great to have her a part of it. Obviously it creates a buzz, it creates another group of young fans, particularly young women that are interested in seeing, ‘Why is she going to this game?' ‘Why is she interested in this game besides Travis?' She's a football fan. And I think that's great for us."

Now that the schedule is set, and the Eras Tour is booked, Chiefs fans will have to wait and see how many games the singer can make. Maybe she can even drive over from Toronto to Buffalo.

During the first show of its European leg — hosted in Nanterre, France, on Thursday — Swift stepped onstage in a new Versace leotard and matching Louboutin boots.

The designer outfit is one of multiple high-end looks Swift has added to her updated show, which now includes songs from her latest album "The Tortured Poets Department."

And each new ensemble is arguably better than the last, with leotards covered in crystals and gowns printed with her song lyrics.

They're outfits fit for a billionaire , which Swift became largely thanks to her massive tour. Here's a look at what she wore.

Taylor Swift stepped onstage in Nanterre, France, wearing an eye-catching orange bodysuit.

Swift has been wearing custom Versace bodysuits during the "Lover" portion of her shows since the start of the Eras Tour.

But her newest version is one of her brightest, covered in orange crystals and large magenta sequins.

She wore the form-fitting piece with knee-high Christian Louboutin boots and a gold Versace necklace.

She later added a sparkling blazer in the same bright shade.

A performance of "The Man" wouldn't be complete without Swift adding a glittering blazer to her outfit.

So, for her first Eras Tour show in France, the 34-year-old debuted a new version of the Versace design: a double-breasted jacket covered in orange sparkles.

She paid homage to her original "Fearless" era in a new dress-style bodysuit.

Fringe-covered minidresses hold a special place in the hearts of longtime Swifties, who saw Swift wear them regularly during her "Fearless" tour in 2009 and 2010.

So, it's fitting that she's consistently brought them back throughout the Eras Tour.

In France, Swift stepped onstage in a black bodysuit covered in silver, gold, and white fringe that made the piece look like a dress. She wore the metallic piece with sparkling Louboutin boots and her signature red lipstick.

It's unclear who designed the newest suit, but fashion house Roberto Cavalli has created Swift's other fringe pieces for the "Fearless" set of the Eras Tour.

Swift nodded to her business dealings during the "Red" set.

Each night of the Eras Tour, Swift begins the "Red" portion of her show wearing a sparkling graphic T-shirt similar to the one she wore in the 2013 music video for "22."

One is a replica that says, "Not a lot going on at the moment," while other versions are more playful with phrases like, "Who's Taylor Swift anyway? Ew."

However, the one she wore in France featured an entirely new message: "This is not Taylor's Version."

The T-shirt references Swift's ongoing project of re-recording her past albums after the original masters were acquired by Scooter Braun and the fans who regularly urge radio stations and casual listeners to switch to "Taylor's Versions" of songs.

The new shirt and others Swift has worn on the Eras Tour were custom-made for her by Ashish Gupta.

Swift combined her "Folklore" and "Evermore" sets and wore a new dress during the merged eras.

Alberta Ferretti has designed all of Swift's "Folklore" dresses throughout the Eras Tour, including the flowing white piece she's seen wearing in her 2023 concert film.

The new version she wore in France on Thursday appears to be the same silhouette as the latter garment but in a new yellow shade.

It features a tiered skirt, flowing long sleeves, and delicate swirls of sparkles and microbeads.

The "1989" portion of her show got an upgrade in the form of a new outfit.

Beaded, two-piece sets from Roberto Cavalli have been Swift's "1989" uniform on the Eras Tour.

But in France, Swift swapped the fringed pieces for a bedazzled pink crop top, a blue ombré skirt, and ankle boots in both colors. The outfit seemingly referenced similar ones Swift wore on her "1989" tour in 2015.

The fashion house is also responsible for this look, with creative director Fausto Puglisi adding a leopard-head embellishment in the middle of its neckline.

Cavalli was widely known as the "Leopard King" before he died in April.

A new "Tortured Poets Department" set called for multiple new outfits, including a dramatic gown.

To match the moody aesthetic of her new album and reference her "Fortnight" music video, Swift donned a custom Vivienne Westwood gown.

It featured a sleeveless, structured bodice, a high-low skirt, and lyrics from "The Tortured Poets Department" printed across it.

Swift wore the dress with white ankle boots from Christian Louboutin.

She later added a military jacket.

While performing "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," Swift and her dancers wore 18th-century-style military jackets in a stark white shade.

Toward the end of the "Tortured Poets" set, Swift performed an onstage quick change.

Swift has worn custom pieces from Jessica Jones to perform surprise acoustic songs throughout the Eras Tour.

It's unclear if the designer created her latest look, but Swift's pink dress was all new.

It was sleeveless with a wrapped ruched bodice and a high-low skirt.

In true "Midnights" fashion, Swift was bejeweled by the show's end.

Zuhair Murad designed her latest "Midnights" bodysuit. It featured a halter neckline, a diamond chest cutout, smaller slits at the waist, fringe across its hem, and an intricate beaded pattern across the garment.

Swift wore the daring piece with knee-high boots, fishnet tights, and her now-signature garter in a matching blue fabric.
