Eagle River features a landmark building housing the Ice Hockey Arena. You can also compete in local Musky tournaments, attend Antique and Craft Shows, water ski shows, and boat to several local pubs and restaurants for casual dining (some feature live music on weekends).
Nearby attractions and activities include scenic Bond Falls and Agate Falls , visit the site of the Mysterious Pauling Light at Robbins Pond, canoe the Ontonagon River, hike the Porcupine Mountains and see Lake Superior and the breathtaking Lake in the Clouds . Enjoy a ride on the live full scale steam train at Camp 9 in Laona or kayak the rapids on the Wolf River. Activity books with more information are located in each guest cottage.
Otter Lake is a 217-acre lake and is one of the 28 lakes that make up the largest inland chain of lakes in the world. The lake has a maximum depth of 30 feet and is rated “Class A” for musky and walleye. It also supports pan fish and bass populations.
