No. Syrena Cruise does not have a family room. Each cabin is suitable for 2 adults and a child under 6 years old. If your family has more members, the cruise operator will arrange next-door cabins for more convenience.

If you book a 2-night program, Day 2 includes a trip to Bright Cave in Cat Ba Island area. However, it is a tranquil area for kayaking or taking a bamboo boat. You will not disembark and get on the island.

Syrena Suite is the only cabin type including a tub in the room.

The jaw-dropping scenery in Halong Bay should not be missed! It is definitely one of the best places I have ever visited and cruising is highly recommended! About Syrena Cruises, the staff were very polite and attentive to passengers, but some needed to improve their English. The food was a little bland to me, but was well presented and the services really made up for it. I suggest the cruise should also improve the cabin quality, since some parts were a little old and A/C did not work sometimes. Overall, thank you for this wonderful experience and I would love to come back one day!

Despite being a small boat, Syrena Cruise is great and very comfortable when it comes to accommodations and activities. We enjoyed the shared lounge and expansive sundeck, very spacious and pleasant for large groups of friends like us! We took the 2-day tour and to be honest, I feel a bit rushed. The destinations were incredible, but make sure you are fit enough to climb the Ti Top Island. The panoramic view was breathtaking and would be worth your efforts. Sunset and sunrise on Halong Bay were amazing! I especially loved the cave visiting, it was so thrilling and the atmosphere in the cave was cool and pleasant even in summer.

We are a group of 5 friends traveling in June. I must say the weather was really hot and the A/C did not work well as we expected. But the staff were very supportive and always wanted to help, thanks all! Food was amazing but the portions were inadequate though. Overall, it was a great trip and we really enjoyed the breathtaking nature and culture of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay!

About Syrena Cruises, the entire crew was caring and amazing, they took care of our special requests so well! This trip was totally value for money! A wonderful journey! Everyone was nice, hospitable, and thoughtful, especially Mr. Son and Mr. Thai! The boat ambiance was cozy and the rooms were clean and convenient. However, I must say some parts of the cruise needed improving as they were quite dated.  Also, there were some repetitions in the food for lunch and dinner, but every dish was very fresh and delicious. The brunch on the last day was incredible! You have to pay for the drinks though, it is not included. I would love to spend more time with the cruise, so I suggest everyone choose a 3-day tour! Overall, great trip and beautiful memories!

My partner and I booked a 3-day tour with Syrena Cruise and they offered such great activities and places. Halong Bay was beautiful but a little crowded, especially when you stayed the night beside so many other boats. We loved Lan Hay Bay because it was much more tranquil and private. If you want to try all the activities, you will not have time to relax since the cruise is filled with experiences, but it is really up to your choices. We highly recommend kayaking and swimming at the beach! The view was excellent! Overall, we were very satisfied and pleased, thank you so much !

I love Halong Bay, it is marvelous and there are many things to do, we are so happy about that! Syrena Cruises were very friendly and the staff were helpful and willing to help, which made me feel like home. We were impressed by the activities, everything was wonderful: cooking demonstration - spring rolls, early morning Tai Chi classes, happy hour,... However, I must say the water was polluted and some places were quite crowded, which was understandable due to the popularity of Halong Bay, but we should protect the environment!

About Syrena Cruise

With 17 cabin and maximum capacity of 34 passengers, Syrena cruise features a harmonious blend of Vietnamese tradition and modern day luxury.

Syrena Cruise offers a multitude of choice regarding facilities and amenities on board. There are two room types: Syrena Suites and Syrena Deluxe cabins. Suite cabin is limitted in number and has open balcony while deluxe cabin is more cost saving while one can still enjoy as many comfort and luxury as the other.

Besides, you are given chances to taste both authentic Vietnamese foods and international cuisines at Syrena’s Lotus Restaurant; and take part in Happy Hour time at Sunset Bar. Other activities on board include: foot massage; swimming, snorkeling and kayaking served by a professional team of staffs.

Currently, Syrena cruise offers both 2 day and 3 day itinerary with daily departure.

Cruise itinerary

Get on our bus for a drive to Halong (if you book our transfer). The long trip is much inspirational with a lot of stunning view of Vietnam’s countryside. Reach the harbor by noon.

Dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Then, the rest of the night is for a wide range of entertainment such as: movie night, board games or squid fishing with our crew members.

The day begins with a morning Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After having light breakfast, the cruise transfer to Luon cave. Here, your sport spirit would be challenged with exploring the area. In return, wonderful scenery o thousand-year old stalagmites are what you may expect.

Come back to the vessel after around 1 hour and prepare your luggage for the way back to Ha Long. Enjoy brunch buffet served in the dining room while the cruise ship is heading back to Halong harbor. Arrive at the harbor by 11:00 an get on the car to travel to Hanoi. Tour ends.

Get up with a cup of coffee or tea while contemplating the stunning view of the sun rising over the bay. After breakfast time, transfer to small rowing boats and start kayaking further into Lan Ha Bay. Arrive in Dark and Bright cave area and kayak around for 45 minutes. Then, come back to the day boat by noon and have lunch.

Sail to Ba Trai Dao Area. You have a chance to sunbathe and swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay. Later, day boat proceeds to Halong Pearl Farm and stops by there for a visit. Here you can watch the process of growing pearl oysters and how the locals collect them. Return to Syrena Cruise at around 15:30 and join other onboard activities such as Happy Hour, Cooking class, watching sunset, etc.

Enjoy deluxe buffet dinner in the dining room. Then light the night up with a wide range of team building activities.

Mid priced Ha long bay cruise ”

It was to our expectations after doing quite a bit of research. Syrena is a older cruise ship but was clean and bed comfortable. Balcony is a bit on the narrow side so keep that in mind if you are a bit larger as it makes it a bit trickier to sit in your chair, but definitely worth it. Food was nice. Activities were touristy as we had expected but we knew that when booking. Although there are lots of tourists, Sun sot cave is definitely worth seeing. Titov island is just ok, whilst we really enjoyed Luon cave and the scenery after passing through. Our guide Son was great and very knowledgeable. I think you are are really paying for the location and guides, if you want to have a newer boat with more space in the bedroom and nicer lounging spaces on the cruise you will need to pay a premium so we were happy with our experience as we didn't really need these.

Best authentic junk boat cruise”

We spent two nights 3 days with Captain Tam and his wonderful crew. I highly recommend this cruise. We were treated like VIPs the entire trip. I was very worried having booked this cruise from Australia of what I was going to get, but from the moment we were collected from our motel in Hanoi to disembarking Syrena we recieved organised, on time, well communicated instructions. Captain Tam is extremely hands on and there for your assistance at any time, he also does the cooking demo and tai chi and has the most contagious laugh! We saw all the major sites plus alot more by doing the 2 night. The food was unbelievable, quantities extreme! I highly recommend to do the Two night x3 day trip you have such more of a relaxing time and travel quite far on the day boat seeing the other bay and its sites.

Not bad, the food was nice! Even the cruise ship seems abit old but it’s quite well maintained, Mr. Son was quite a nice guy and speaks well English too! Overall not bad, will definitely recommend my friend to book when the price are reasonable!

Old Vessel but Maintained one....”

Overall Good experience, no complaints.... Only issue with Veg Food, once platter over, not having enough cooking to refill the same. Rest all staff excellent and supporting.

The Dior 2025 Cruise Show was nothing short of a sartorial spectacle, with guests the showcasing the pinnacle highland-approved elegance. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Scotland 's Drummond Castle's verdant garden in Perthshire, the event was a dazzling display. 

From chic cream dresses to bold leopard prints, the A-list brought their A-game, embodying the spirit of Dior with every stylish detail. Emma Raducanu and Geri Halliwell embraced timeless elegance in creamy white and quilted handbags, while Hello! Fashion cover star Amelie Gassmann and Alexa Chung dared to stun in edgy leather coats and fierce cutout designs.

Jennifer Lawrence touched down in Scotland for the 2025 Dior Cruise show on June 3, arriving at the coveted event at Drummond Castle in an animal-print jacket paired with pointed black pumps . 

Lawrence fittingly wore Dior to the show, which unveiled the fashion line inspired by the culture of Scotland. She wore wide-leg navy blue jeans with a white shirt imprinted with an insect and CD insignia. Over this casual ensemble, she wore a long leopard print jacket tied together with a black Christian Dior belt. 

To accessorize the look, the “No Hard Feelings” actress held a small quilted black purse and donned a pair of oversized sunglasses. 

Lawrence’s patent leather heels featured a classic design with a sharp pointed toe. While the back of her shoes were obscured by her pants, the part of the heels that did peek through picked up her purse, sunglasses and the black accents of her jacket. 

Lawrence is no stranger to a black heel. She recently stepped out at the 2024 GLAAD Awards wearing a black gown and black Maison Ernest heels. She presented the Vito Russo Award to Orville Peck at the event. 

Since her breakthrough starring role in “The Hunger Games” franchise, Lawrence has been turning heads on red carpets throughout her extensive career — and she has not disappointed in the footwear department .
