About Thomas Rhett

Ten years after signing his record deal with Big Machine Label Group’s The Valory Music Co., arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett — dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music”  (Variety)  — has 19 multi-PLATINUM and GOLD-certified No. 1 hits, 12 BILLION streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive No. 1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). Declared “a prince in the genre”  (USA Today) , he has been honored with eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards,  Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. One songs within a 12-month period. The superstar’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album WHERE WE STARTED is available now, with single “Half of Me,” featuring Riley Green, currently Top 5 at Country radio. Thomas Rhett has also just released his first-ever Christmas collection MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL, featuring his rich vocal and sincere delivery, with a country flair on four favorite festive tracks.  Inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors, Thomas Rhett is also the cofounder of Dos Primos Tequila and has collaborated with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line. He recently extended his BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR into 2023 with dates scheduled for the top of next year in Canada. For more information, visit  www.ThomasRhett.com .

About Cole Swindell

Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell released his fifth studio album,  Stereotype , to massive success. The project has already charted three back-to-back multi-week No. 1 hits: the Gold-certified “Single Saturday Night,” the Platinum-certified “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson) and, most recently, the Platinum-certified, five-week chart-topper “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” In the seven years since his debut on Warner Music Nashville, Swindell has racked up an impressive 12 No. 1 singles as an artist – 13 as a songwriter – 11 certified Platinum singles (four singles at 2x Platinum), a Platinum-certified debut album ( Cole Swindell ) and a Gold-certified sophomore album ( You Should Be Here ). The Georgia hitmaker has over 5.2 BILLION global career streams. His massive, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Break Up In The End” was named the 2019  NSAI Song of the Year . Swindell is nominated for two CMA Awards for  Musical Event of the Year  and  Music Video of the Year  for “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson. He officially became a headliner on his own in 2018 with his  Reason To Drink  Tours, and is currently out on the road with   Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe for his  Back Down To The Bar Tour .

About Nate Smith

With a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith first chased his neon dreams to Nashville in his early 20s – but it didn’t stick. The disheartened Smith returned home and thought he was “100-percent done” with his artistic journey…until a crucible of change burned away the past. In 2018, Smith lost everything he owned in the devastating Camp Fire which tore through Paradise, California. Although his family was safe, he struggled to cope and turned back to music, hoping that it would help comfort himself and others. Help it did, inspiring a month-long road trip across the U.S. to Music City, writing music and playing dive bars along the way. Soon after his arrival to Nashville, Nate released his biggest song to date, “Wildfire,” and landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. Since then, he’s released new music including “Sleeve” and “Under My Skin,” which has amassed over 70 million on-demand streams to date. The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, “Whiskey On You,” which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

THE CRUCIBLE OF LIFE

OUT JULY 12

TIKTOK  ◉  INSTAGRAM  ◉  TWITTER  ◉  FACEBOOK  ◉  OFFICIAL WEBSITE

The Home Team is Brian Butcher (vocals), John Baran (guitar), Ryne Olson (bass), and Daniel Matson (drums). They are a Seattle based four piece band that, in an endeavor to blend multiple different genres, has branded themselves as “heavy pop.” Baran and Matson formed The Home Team in 2013 after touring in their respective metal bands for a while. In 2015, Butcher (who also happens to be the first person to ever purchase their original EP with the first singer) auditioned, and being a genuine fan of the band, made for the perfect new addition. Olson entered the fold in 2019 after meeting and clicking on tour.

The Home Team emerges from more traditional pop-punk and metal influences; they have introduced stylings of R&B, pop and funk into their music in an effort to be true to their tastes while crafting their heavy pop sound. The band has gone to great lengths to be creatively genuine with their audience, which has rewarded them many times over with an extremely dedicated and passionate fan base. Having shared stages with bands such as Don Broco, Senses Fail, and Real Friends, the band is set to take their captivating show to the UK in December of 2023 supporting The Used. The Home Team uses unique production to bring their electrifying performance to life. Having released immersive albums such as Better Off and Slow Bloom , this enigmatic band will continue to grow and evolve their music for the purpose of creating something unlike anything that has come before. The band is gearing up to share their new single Loud . "Beyond the obviously sexual subject matter of the song, Loud is about finding your confidence in giving 110% to things that may be outside of your immediate comfort zone," says Butcher about the forthcoming track, out now via Thriller Records.

Country music star Thomas Rhett kicks off his 2023 tour at Wells Fargo Arena

the home team tour setlist

Thomas Rhett shined in his much-anticipated Home Team Tour 23 debut Thursday night in Des Moines.

Rhett kicked off his massive U.S. tour to an electric audience of around 12,000 people at Wells Fargo Arena in the city's downtown. The appearance marked the second time headlining Wells Fargo Arena for the second-generation star in the genre, whose father is fellow hitmaker Rhett Akins of "That Ain't My Truck" fame . Rhett first headlined the arena previously during his Very Hot Summer Tour in 2019.

On Wednesday night, the eve of his electric arena tour's start, Rhett posted a photo dump to social media that included a series of white paper signs with the first that read, "We are so proud of you daddy!" signed by his four daughters Ada James, Willa Gray, Lennon and Lillie.

"My team trying to make me cry first night of tour… sheesh," the country megastar captioned the photo .

Rhett opened the show, following sets by country singers Cole Swindell and Nate Smith, in a Des Moines home team jacket and then put in work with a drum solo before singing his hit “Vacation” and traveling across the stage as he ended the song playing the guitar.

During a spiritual performance of “Look What God Gave Her,” the crooner wowed the crowd, who held up cups of beer as Rhett took a selfie with a front row audience member’s iPhone.

“You know this one, Des Moines. Let me hear you sing this!” Rhett said as he tipped the mic stand and sang his No. 1 hit “Crash and Burn” and took yet another selfie with an audience member.

“Des Moines, are you feeling good? Are your voices warmed up?” he said with pyrotechnics flying mid-air during the song with his Tennessee swagger.

Rhett watched a flurry of home videos featuring his four daughters before performing “Life Changes,” the catchy song dedicated to his Instagram-famous wife Lauren . Then, the country singer sang “Slow Down Summer,” “Unforgettable,” “Marry Me” and “You Make Me Wanna.”

A bluesy performance of “Us Someday” was followed by “Country Again” played on acoustic guitars . Then, he crooned to “Blessed,” a song written about Lauren and how blessed he is to have her in his life.

Rhett took Des Moines on a tour of the decades by singing “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley before saying “that’s for you” and pointing to an audience member who was born in the 1950s. The night included cover songs including “I Feel Good” by James Brown and Rick Springfield's “Jessie’s Girl."

Fans turned on their flashlights as Rhett sang "Die A Happy Man" as the crowd swayed and sang along. "Thank you so much, Des Moines!" he said at the song's end.

Then, he performed a trio of songs for "the OGs:" "Notice," "Get Me Some Of That" and "It Goes Like This." A montage of photos of Rhett and his wife were accompanied by a performance of "Angels" as he sang "maybe angels don't always have wings." The Jon Pardi collaboration "Beer Can't Fix" and "Sixteen" followed as audience members wearing ballcaps and cowboy boots put their hands up.

Rhett rocked to a drums-defined version of "Craving You" before more pyrotechnics brought the house down. "Y'all got time for a couple more?" he asked.

He sang "What's Your Country Song" during the confetti-capped concert's close around 11 p.m. as Rhett took a bow. An encore led to a twangy version of "T-Shirt." Then, a final bow from Rhett and guitar solo guided concertgoers out of the Des Moines arena.

Nate Smith shines during opening set in Des Moines

Under blue lights, up-and-comer Nate Smith sang his song “Sleeve” donning an understated Metallica T-shirt. Smith released his self-titled debut album just last week.

“How you all doin’ tonight?” he asked the crowd to cheers.

“In every little smile and stranger passin' through, I still see her now and then in my dreams,” he sang with his gritty signature sound as onlookers posted Instagram photos and took selfies.

Smith’s set foreshadowed an explosive future in Nashville that could eclipse even the brightest newcomers with his ballad-heavy songs.

Smith sang fan favorite “World on Fire” followed by the ballad “I Found You” and then “Under My Skin,” the slow breakup anthem about losing a past lover.

Smith performed the chart-topping “Whiskey on You” about pouring one up after being passed up by an ex as he chugged a beer handed to him from an audience member in the front row. The single recently spent two weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart .

Cole Swindell brings Georgia heat to Wells Fargo Arena stage

With an electric guitar-layered introduction featuring bandmates, Swindell strutted out on the Wells Fargo Arena stage in an all-black outfit that included a Brad Paisley shirt, denim jacket, jeans and brown cowboy boots.

Cole Swindell opened the set with his latest single “Drinkaby,” a drum-dotted song that would easily be found at a Dallas County dive bar on a Friday night with its honky tonk, hip-swinging sound .

“Des Moines, what’s up?” Swindell asked the audience.

The opening song was followed by “Love You Too Late” and the beer sippin’, hat tippin’ track “Let Me See Ya Girl.”

“Let’s give it for the first night of the Home Team Tour,” he said before calling out the section in 304. “This is exactly how we wanted to see you tonight,” he said before saying the crowd was “good looking.”

The self-explanatory “Single Saturday Night” had the crowd going with his hit single, an ode to White Claw seltzers and looking back at the one you once looked for. Later, he sang the radio favorite “Stereotype” and “Break Up In The End.”

Swindell led an a capella crowd singalong to “Middle of a Memory” before the band joined in and the Georgia native traced the stage floor underneath a traveling white spotlight. He sang "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight" before a pair of guitar solos closed out the song and Swindell sang his collaboration with "Yellowstone" star and country peer Lainey Wilson, "Never Say Never" as a video of her played on two screens flanking the stage.

Swindell brought Georgia heat to the Iowa night with "Chillin' It" and the sultry "Sad Ass Country Song" and "You Should Be Here" about losing someone after they pass away .

"Anybody else got here that ain't worth the damn whiskey or what?" he asked the crowd to massive cheers before singing "You Ain't Worth the Whiskey" and applauding servicemembers, police officers, EMTs and nurses.

"Hey, Des Moines, what's a boy from South Georgia supposed to do with a crowd like this on the first night of tour?" he asked during a short break during the Dierks Bentley collaboration "Flatliner."

The close friend and frequent collaborator of Rhett ended his set with "She Had Me At Heads Carolina," which had nearly every seat in the Iowa crowd on their feet.

Thomas Rhett Announces Home Team Tour 23 Dates

Thomas Rhett has announced his tour plans for 2023. The country hitmaker will bring the Home Team Tour to 27 states from May through September. In total, he just put 40 new tour dates on his calendar.

Cole Swindell and " Whiskey on You " singer Nate Smith will open the Home Team 23 Tour. It kicks off on Des Moines, Iowa, on May 4 and criss-crosses the country before wrapping in Nashville on Sept. 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 11 at 10AM local time.

See a full list of Rhett's tour dates below.

In a video shared with fans, Rhett attempts to wear sports jerseys from all 40 cities he'll be visiting as he makes the announcement and answers questions during a mock press conference. Swindell and Smith make brief cameos, but video magic makes Rhett the exponential star of the show. He even wears a University of Tennessee jersey, which surely had to sting, as Rhett is a big University of Georgia fan.

The tour's name comes from Rhett's name for his fan community. In fact, it's at least the second Home Team Tour he's embarked on. In 2017 he brought Kelsea Ballerini and more along for a Home Team Tour that focused on the midwest and southeast.

Photos from Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Paris show reveal new Tortured Poets Department outfits

Taylor Swift singing passionately into a microphone, in a white dress shaking her head

Taylor Swift's two-year world tour has resumed after the release of her new album Tortured Poets Department, with the European leg kicking off in Paris.

Swift's Eras Tour began in March last year, with dozens and dozens of shows since then.

Given it has been going on for so long, fans have compiled comprehensive information about set list and costumes for the tour.

There are slight variations at her shows, with some slots in her set list for what fans have dubbed "surprise songs".

And she's worn various iterations of the same costume.

However, generally speaking, the shows have been pretty much the same each time.

But, because this was her first show since Tortured Poets Department, there was much speculation about how different it would be from previous shows .

So there was a lot of focus on Thursday night's show in the La Defense Arena in the French capital.

New outfits

Swift wore a white dress with lyrics to Tortured Poets Department songs on it, with the structured fabric looking like pages of paper.

She incorporated an on-stage costume change into her act.

Swift took off the white dress to reveal a sparkly black two-piece, throwing a gold jacket over the top.

We'd not seen that on stage before.

But there were also changes to regular costumes — including the colours in the Lover bodysuit and the slogan on the T-shirt she wears while singing the song 22.

Previous iterations of that shirt had said "WHO'S TAYLOR SWIFT ANYWAY? EW." and "WE ARE NEVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER LIKE EVER".

New set list

We didn't have an ABC reporter on the ground in Paris to compare the set list to her Australian shows.

So for news on this front we went to a social media account run by an anonymous Taylor Swift fan for updates.

That may sound fraught, but @tswifterastour has become the authoritative — albeit unofficial — voice on all things Eras Tour, with more than half a million followers. ( Cosmopolitan did a great interview with the person behind this account, if you're interested .)

It's the account behind that "seemingly ranch" tweet that went viral last year, if that means anything to you.

Then we cross-referenced that with a report from the BBC .

What new songs are on the Eras Tour set list?

Here are the new songs that Swift performed in Paris on Thursday night:

  • But Daddy I Love Him
  • So High School
  • Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me?
  • The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
  • I Can Do It With a Broken Heart

What songs were cut?

Here are the songs that used to feature on the set list but weren't played by Swift:

  • The Archer (Lover)
  • Long Live (Speak Now)
  • The 1 (Folklore)
  • The last great American dynasty (Folklore)
  • 'Tis the damn season (Evermore)
  • Tolerate it (Evermore)

And with new songs came new dance numbers and props.

After a blistering trio of performances at the UK and Ireland's C2C Festival, Thomas Rhett has returned to his trusty tour-bus as he embarks on his US Home Team run of shows, which kicked off in early May.

With shows lined up in Illinois, Missouri, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and more, Rhett will be dusting off his formidable arsenal of hits and unleashing them on crowds across the US.

Here you can find Thomas Rhett's updated setlist as he embarks on his 2023 concert tour.

Judging from his recent setlists, he'll be performing a refreshing mix of both old and new fan-favourite tracks from across his sprawling discography, including ‘Life Changes’, ‘Die a Happy Man‘, ‘Look What God Gave Her’ and ‘Slow Down Summer’.

A number of the Georgia native's star-studded collaborations have made their way into his 2023 shows, including the Riley Green-assisted ‘Half Of Me’ and the Jon Pardi-featuring ‘Beer Can't Fix’, both of which pay tribute to the unique healing power of a cold one.

The ‘Marry Me’ hitmaker has also been weaving in a couple of unreleased tracks, such as the uptempo ‘Feeling Country’ , throughout his 2023 performances. Fans will be hoping they'll be getting to hear more snippets from the Thomas Rhett vault this summer.

With Rhett being known for his high-energy sets, one of the many highlights from his performances is inevitably his cover of ‘She Had Me at Heads Carolina’. Although cut by Cole Swindell, the loved-up anthem was co-written by Rhett, and his live renditions of the retro track are always greeted with a chorus of cheers.

Given the fact that Swindell is opening for Rhett this year, we wouldn't be surprised if the two join forces to perform ‘She Had Me at Heads Carolina’ throughout the tour.

Of course, in addition to the floor-fillers, Thomas Rhett also makes room for a few of his much-loved ballads, including ‘Country Again’ and his most recent single, ‘Angels (Don't Always Have Wings)’.

Taylor Swift makes major Tortured Poets Department setlist change on ‘Eras’ tour

Taylor Swift will include The Tortured Poets Department in her 'Eras' tour setlist.

Andrew Korpan

Taylor Swift with the Eras tour logo and The Tortured Poets Department album cover.

Taylor Swift is just hours away from playing her first “Eras” tour show in two months. However, the tour's setlist is bound to be modified after the release of The Tortured Poets Department .

Major “Eras” tour setlist change

The tour promoter for Swift's stop in France dropped a bombshell regarding the “Eras” tour setlist ( via France Info). Swift will be implementing songs from The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in the middle of her two-month break, into the setlist.

He said, “We are going to discover a slightly modified show since she has released a new album since she stopped its Australian release.”

He elaborated, “So she's going to include new pieces from her new album.”

This move puts to rest any fears that Swift wouldn't play songs from her new album on the tour. After all, this is the “Eras” tour. The Tortured Poets Department is a part of her latest era.

Where will the songs go?

Taylor Swift attending Super Bowl LVIII

The real question is where Swift cuts out songs. As it stands, Swift plays an average of 45 songs per show on the “Eras” tour. Every show has started and ended in similar fashion, with “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” opening the show and “Karma” closing all 83 shows thus far.

It's more likely that Swift will play The Tortured Poets Department songs at the end of the set. Before the album was released, Swift was closing out her sets with seven songs from Midnights, her latest release at that point. With The Tortured Poets Department being her latest release, perhaps she will cut out songs from the Midnights set to make space for her new album.

Some of Swift's albums also get more time to shine than others. As noted, Midnights gets seven songs per night. Lover, which opens the show, gets six songs. Evermore and 1989 get five while Reputation and Red each get four songs. Folklore gets seven songs.

In addition to the regular album tracks, Swift usually leaves two slots open for surprise songs. Had she not devoted more space to The Tortured Poets Department, it's possible she could have played a couple of songs each night at this point in the show.

Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Taylor Swift began the “Eras” tour in March 2023 with two shows in Glendale, Arizona. Swift then took the tour across North America in 2023 and also played shows in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

In February 2024, Swift resumed the tour with shows in Japan, Australia, and Singapore. After a two-month break, Swift will resume the tour on May 9 with four shows in Nanterre, France. She will subsequently bring the tour across Europe before returning to North America in October.

As of the time of this writing, Swift will close out the tour with nine more shows in North America and nine shows in Canada.

To commemorate the tour, Swift released a concert film — Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. The film was a huge hit, grossing over $260 million at the box office and becoming the highest-grossing concert film ever.

Multi-Platinum entertainer Thomas Rhett will join the Home Teams of 40 cities next summer, today revealing US tour dates for his HOME TEAM TOUR 23, produced by Live Nation, presented by Dos Primos Tequila and Fueled by Marathon. Known for his "bombastic, good time energy” (Esquire), after kicking off 2023 in Canada, the summer tour will begin May 4 in Des Moines, IA at Wells Fargo Arena with Cole Swindell and Nate Smith, and end at Thomas Rhett’s hometown Nashville, TN, at Bridgestone Arena on September 23, 2023.

The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, "Whiskey On You," which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

It’s the first time Swift performed these tracks in front of a live audience since the album’s release last month. Swift told her Paris crowd that they were the first to see songs from “Tortured Poets” performed. She jokingly called the album “Female Rage: The Musical.”

The addition of her new album to the show was part of a larger restructuring of her setlist and concert, which featured brand new costumes, choreography and props throughout.

As part of the revamp, Swift cut several songs, including “The Archer,” “Long Live,” and “Tolerate It,” among others.

The 14-time Grammy-winner released her highly anticipated 11th studio album last month. The 16-track album turned out to be a 31-song mega double album.

“The Tortured Poets Department” set streaming records and is Swift’s best-selling album, posting over two million in sales in its first week. “Tortured Poets” also became her 14th album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, tying Jay-Z as the second-most top-charting albums behind the Beatles.

Swift is set to play three more concerts in Paris before she heads to Stockholm, Sweden.

Taylor Swift Pens Thank You Note to Paris and Calls New Segment of Eras Tour ‘Female Rage the Musical!’

“I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour,” Swift wrote after performing four shows in Paris

Shortly after Taylor Swift closed out her fourth and final sold-out Paris show on her record-breaking Eras Tour on May 12, the superstar spilled her thoughts about the experience on social media.

On Instagram and X , Swift, 34, discussed adding her latest album — The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD) — to the tour, which meant including seven songs from TTPD , new outfits, set pieces and choreography.

“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical,” Swift wrote in her caption, accompanied with stunning photos from this section of the show’s 46-song setlist.

Swift had resumed her tour on May 9 after a nearly two-month break, during which time she released her 11th album, TTPD , on April 19.

“To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you — but mostly for the fans in Paris,” she continued. “I’m so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love.”

This era of the show included  “So High School,”  a song about her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34. He attended the fourth night in Paris at the Paris La Défense Arena, where she performed it in front of him for the first time on tour, at one point singing, “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”

The TTPD set also featured “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Down Bad,” “Fortnight,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” and “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”

Swift altered her career-spanning setlist to make room for songs from Tortured Poets , which meant cutting several fan-favorites like “The Archer,” off her album Lover and “ Long Live” off Speak Now.

Swift wrapped up her social post with, “I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm! 🤍”

Here Is Paramore’s ‘The Eras Tour’ Setlist For 2024

Derrick Rossignol

Paramore previously had a brief stint on Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour , opening (alongside Gayle) for the first two shows, in March 2023 in Phoenix. Now, though, they have their own leg of the tour opening by themselves, as Hayley Williams and company are joining Swift for European dates from May 9 to August 20.

Their first show of the run just want down in France, so check out the band’s opening setlist below ( via setlist.fm ).

In 2023, Swift said of the band , “Having Paramore join me on tour is such an honor. We came up alongside each other as Nashville teenagers writing our own music, so it feels insanely special to kick off the tour together nearly two decades later. I just remember being constantly floored and inspired by their writing, originality and artistic integrity. Hayley is such a riveting performer because she’s so multifaceted — bold and playful and ferocious and completely in command. It’s a dream come true to join forces like this.”
