Tour overview.

Our Wild India tour takes you into the heart of the parks said to have inspired Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’. Jeep safaris and jungle walks across a trio of parks (Pench, Kanha and Bandhavgarh) mean you’ll have plenty of opportunity to spot tigers, leopards, sloth bears and more. You’ll also marvel at star-spangled skies, with an expert on hand to explain each constellation. Away from the parks, you’ll explore UNESCO-listed temples in Khajuraho, admire Mumbai’s art deco architecture and jump on the Jhansi-Delhi express train. A week by the beach in Goa makes the perfect optional add-on at the end of our wildlife tour.

People that have booked this tour have also searched for the following:

Location: United Kingdom

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your overnight flight to Mumbai.

Location: Mumbai

After touching down in Mumbai, we’ll transfer to our hotel.

Location: Elephanta Island

We’ll spend the morning on the island of Elephanta, an hour’s boat ride from Mumbai. Elephanta is famous for its UNESCO-listed cave temples, carved out of the rock between the 5th and 8th centuries. A walk through this maze of temples reveals pillars, courtyards and sculptural reliefs, including an impressive 7m-high shrine to Shiva. This afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps join us for a tour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus), a Victorian Gothic masterpiece boasting turrets, painted arches, a huge central dome and decorative flourishes in iron, brass and marble. We’ll also admire Mumbai’s art deco architecture.

Day 4 : Days 4-5

Location: pench national park.

After a short flight, we’ll drive to Pench National Park, in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills. Our lodge is just a kilometre from the park, so we’re perfectly placed to explore this wildlife-filled reserve - the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’. A guided nature walk introduces us to the local flora and fauna, while early morning and late afternoon Jeep safaris take us deeper into the park in search of its inhabitants. Sloth bears doze on rocky outcrops, flying squirrels leap between trees, and crocodiles wallow in the network of lakes. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for elusive leopards and tigers, too. An evening of stargazing will be led by a local expert, who’ll show you the wonders of the Milky Way.

Location: Kanha Tiger Reserve

After a final jungle tour in Pench this morning, we’ll drive to Kanha National Park, a 940-square-kilometre park famous for its population of tigers and deer.

Day 6 : Days 7-8

We’ll rise early on our days here and travel into the jungle by Jeep, accompanied by an experienced ranger. Heading into the park at sunrise allows us the opportunity to watch the wildlife wake and patrol in the cool morning temperatures. An afternoon safari might take us into a different park zone for further opportunities to spot the wildlife along riverbanks, in open savannahs or in ancient woods. Birdwatchers should keep binoculars handy - 200-plus species are found here, including the black ibis, hawk eagle and the red-wattled lapwing. We’ll also visit a Gond tribal village nearby, where we’ll have the chance to have a cup of chai with the locals, see traditional tribal paintings and perhaps learn a few skills from the artists themselves.

Location: Bandhavgarh National Park

Our final national park awaits, as we make our way north to Bandhavgarh. It’s a fairly long drive (five hours), but once we arrive, we’ll have time to unwind at our lodge and enjoy our lush surroundings. Relax beside the tree-shaded pool or sit out on your private terrace with a book and a coffee.

Day 8 : Days 10-11

Another three jungle safaris punctuate our stay here. A former hunting ground for maharajahs, Bandhavgarh is now a protected reserve that’s home to white and Bengal tigers, leopards, elephants, sloth bears and a host of other creatures. More than 250 species of bird can be spotted here, too. We’ll also get a closer look at the flora as we explore the forest on foot, guided by an expert naturalist.

Location: Khajuraho

Today, we’ll head for Khajuraho, where we’ll tour a selection of the UNESCO-protected temples. It’s another long drive (six hours), but well worth the effort. Built around 1,000 years ago by the ruling Chandella dynasty, they perfectly marry architecture and sculpture. We’ll see Mahadev, the largest and most ornate temple, wander through the circular Chaunsath Yogini temple, and admire the 11-headed sculpture of Lord Vishnu at Chitragupta Temple.

Location: Orchha

The little village of Orchha is a bit of an underrated gem. Overlooked by many tourists, it’s home to an incredible array of palaces and temples - a reminder of this unassuming village’s past as the capital of a powerful kingdom. After lunch in Orchha, we’ll make our way to the train station at Jhansi, ready for our express service into Delhi. Rail travel is a huge part of life here and experiencing a train ride is a must on any trip to India. Enjoy city and countryside views as we speed through Uttar Pradesh, arriving into Delhi in the early evening.

Location: Delhi

Our India tour comes to an end today as you transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home. If you’ve booked our Goa extension, you’ll fly south from Delhi to begin your week by the beach.

Reviews of this operator

Recently returned from the great....

Recently returned from the great Indian rail journey. My wife and I could hardly believe the value for money. From pick ups from Durham to Heathrow and back,to the number of coach and train journeys , quality hotels, great choice of food throughout and our first night in Heathrow Hilton. What really made our trip a success was our guide, Prashant, who managed a party of twenty four very varied, sometimes a little unpredictable travellers with ease.Nothing was too much trouble for him and as a group we gelled and warmed to Prashant as he kept us safe, well informed and a little entertained by his mix of authority and humanity.Where do I begin with the tour itself ? India,a country of extremes.Poverty,wealth,order,chaos.Sometimes bleak, often breathtakingly beautiful. The people, the cities, art, architecture, flaura and fauna.Delhi,Jaipur, Amritsar,Agra, Ranthambore, Chandigarh and the icing on the cake that is Shimla. An absolute masterclass of man versus nature, the railway and buildings are an unbelievable feat, but wait until you see the dual carriageway being built on the mountainside.🤯I could go on for a very long time but I'll just post some photos. Thanks to Titan, thanks to the excellent Prashant and and a massive thanks to the other twenty two travellers who helped shape our holiday of a lifetime.🏁💜

I have booked the Icelandic...

I have booked the Icelandic Adventure holiday with Titan Travel, the Booking Staff was pleasant throughout. What I love about Titan Travel, transfer from your home to the airport and vice versa is included in the holiday.

Danube cruise was great value....

Danube cruise was great value. Well organised. Clear instructions from Titan prior to travel. Door to door service great.

Exceptional trip and service by Titan

Just returned from a fabulous tour of California & the golden west. It’s a full on tour with early starts but you see so much varied landscape from the ocean to the desert to Yosemite. My 2nd tour with Titan & my first solo tour. Thoroughly enjoyed it & met some great people. Grand Canyon was amazing would definitely recommend

Not merely a holiday, rather a memorable experience

I have used other travel operators; this was the 1st time of touring with Titan----Israel, The Holy Land, from being collected from home and returned at the end of the holiday this was an unforgettable experience; the Tour Manager, a PhD Archaeology made the whole tour so interesting, he enlightened us throughout each day from an historical, archeological and Biblical viewpoint, bringing each site we visited come to life, and went over and above his remit escorting us for evening trips around the local area; thanks also to our very patient driver who coped with the very busy traffic; our hotels were good, professional and pleasant staff and really good food; I would recommend Titan to anyone looking for a fascinating tour with excellent efficient service thank you Titan nor just for a holiday for a memorable experience

We had a 2 weeks...

We had a 2 weeks fantastic holiday arranged by Titan to Vietnam and Cambodia. Excellent, well organised Throughly enjoyed. Very good service by Vietnam Airlines, if you could afford book it in premium economy. We had a door to door service , picked up to airport from home and then dropped at home from airport, very convinient. Particular credit goes to our guide THI who is a caring, knolegeable, friendly down to earth man who made our trip a memorable one. I will not hesitate to book another holiday through Titan, their staff are friendly and helpful

We had a fantastic holiday...

We had a fantastic holiday in Mississippi. Right from our chauffeur driven car picking us up to the return journey, we had a great time. The first hotel The Gaylord was amazing, absolutely huge, first class. The second The Double tree in Memphis unfortunately wasn't, the hotel was tired and very basic, the only plus was where it is situated in the centre of town, we were only there two nights so it wasn't to bad. The American Queen Steam Boat was first class all the way, thoroughly enjoyed the seven nights sailing down the Mississippi. The last hotel the Sheraton New Orleans was very comfortable too. Our guide throughout our time away was Laura Tuttle. she was amazing, very knowledgeable, and helpful. We also had a coach driver Guil, who went over and beyond to give you the best time. Other coach guides included Jim,who was so funny, and also very knowledgeably. Very entertaining throughout. The entire itinerary itinerary was very well thought out, included a huge variety of visits to different Interesting locations. Highly recommend using Titan for all your holiday destinations.

Perfect Italian Holiday…

Just returned from a lovely week in Sorrento at the Grand Hotel Hermitage, we had an excellent guide Peter Macchristopher. we loved the hotel the staff were very nice especially in the dining rooms, the food was good and the room we had was really nice with a wonderful view. Altogether very good value holiday.we felt the trip to Pompei was very good also boat trip to Amalfi. I would recommend a walk to the village of St Agatha and a three hour ride on the Little Blue Train. Great fun.this can be booked at reception.

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!!...

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!! (Dreadful) Avoid Titan and Saga at all costs. False descriptions of the tour and dreadful administration Returned to the UK last evening with a great sigh of relief after the worst holiday ever. 1. No block booking of airplane seats by Titan. (Husband and I sat apart on the long, overnight flight) 2. Unable to pre-book seats as Titan reference numbers did not coincide with anything. 3. Husband and I not sat together on any of the train journeys! In fact, on one occasion I was sat, alone on a sleeper carriage, a couple of carriages away from the rest of the group who were scattered over two or three carriages. Terrifying as a female to be sat alone in the midst of noisy locals!!!!! (Eventually the guide, Rahi, did come to rescue me and found a seat near the main group) 4. The guide, Rahi, would usually get off the coach and begin walking off without waiting for all the group to disembark the coach. (Spot the guide in the crowd!) 5. The guide, Rahi, refused to use any identifying prop such as a flag, hat, jacket or umbrella. Frightening to be in the manic crowds of Delhi and other crowded places to be unable to see the guide. 6. NO AUDIO HEADSET system on any excursion 7. The guide, Rahi, didn’t face the whole group, but stood sideways on and was unable to be heard by the majority. 8. OUTRAGEOUS behaviour by the guide when he enquired as to the whereabouts of my husband, whom I explained was in bed with an upset stomach and was feeling unwell. Rahi DID A REVERSE AIR PUNCH😳😳. This was in response to an earlier conversation when my husband had complained about our separate seating arrangements. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL 9. When we arrived at Heathrow to find our aircraft seats were not allocated, we were advised to speak to our guide on arrival at Delhi. Rahi merely shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn’t do anything. 10. Tour pace incorrect - gruelling pace and only half a day relaxation due to the guide, Rahi, throwing in visits to shops and factories fie him to earn his commission as I head him tell another!!!!!!! 11. When off loaded the return flight due to illness, we were unable to get in contact with Titan/Saga. Left in Delhi without an hotel or flight!!! Found accommodation but didn’t remove shoes or clothes due to the poor standard. Final summary: Poor, disappointing, inefficient, incompetent, misleading, misrepresentations, are just a few words to describe.

Luxury VIP door to door...

Luxury VIP door to door travel! I don't think so....Titan sent a Toyota Prius uber to Stanstead for a return journey to Newport, S Wales. 4 adults plus luggage! the experience was anything but luxurious. Contacted Titan on the return journey and since return. They simply didn't seem interested and offered us a £300 travel discount off a future trip! After a lot of emails they converted it to a £300 cash refund. Give it a lot of thought before booking !

We have travelled on Titan Tours many times.

We have travelled on Titan Tours a great many times and have really enjoyed them without exception. They handled the Covid Crisis very well and allowed us to move booking where necessary. We have recently booked through a Travel Agent which means we can get quotes for a variety of Holidays/ Departure Dates by email and book our choice by email return, we also get a small discount !

Excellent service again from Titan

Excellent service again from Titan regarding bookings for 2024 holidays. Have holidayed with Titan for 10 years now, normally once, sometimes twice a year. Not yet been disappointed. With all the stress taken out by pick up and return home by their private taxi, coupled with guided tour holidays,we know we are in professional hands.

Titan/Saga: Mobility required for Level 2 holidays

Hi Deb. Thank you for your response to my review. However, I’m afraid you have missed the point I was making in respect of mobility. It is not Saga giving advice, it is people being in denial of their mobility and booking inappropriate tours. On our recent tour, some folk were clearly in denial about their mobility and booked a level 2 holiday when it was clearly beyond their ability to walk at a moderate pace. This became a issue for those quite rightly wanting to enjoy the holiday they had booked. Hence my comment about the tour guide’s authority being made clear in holiday confirmation.

A tough trip but worthwhile

Sicily, Jewel of the Mediterranean Great service to Gatwick. Loved the hotels. The only one that was disappointing was Mercure in Palermo which was very much a bed factory and chaotic breakfast. The other hotels were brilliant and the food was exceptional. As a suggestion why not add a free day on arrival , a free day in Palermo and a free day before departure. The itinerary was pretty intense and looking at the average age of those travelling it was quite a challenge. With three extra days at leisure you would feel that you both a tour and a holiday. There were supposed to be two free afternoons but these amounted to returning to the hotel at 3/4 pm! Also please include gratuities as these are embarrassing for both the customer and the guide

Date of experience : 06 June 2024

Hi Roger Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We have noted and listened to your comments regarding the Hotel Mercure and adding some free days to the tour. We will be feeding back your review to our Product team. Kind regards, Thomas Titan Travel

A great trip to undiscovered Portugal…

A great trip to undiscovered Portugal Lisbon to the Algarve. We had a very good guide and saw so many interesting things including some well timed local festivals. Only downside was the very late return to the UK.

Fantastic customer service

I had a few queries about our holiday when I was booking and Rita sorted everything out and gave me all the information I needed. She was absolutely lovely. I also had a query about an event on our holiday and someone called me back with an answer very quickly.Fantastic customer service 👌

Hi Joan, Thank you for your feedback from which we are delighted Rita was able to support you throughout your booking journey. Kind regards Thomas Titan Travel

Seated 10 rows apart on a 10 hour flight

Ref S171531 Booked a holiday too USA in January. Was previously told by SAGA that we could not choose our own seats on a 10 hour BA flight as it was a group booking, so we (wrongly assumed) that we would all be booked together. We have specifically requested a "next to" seat request. BA just emailed me to provide API. We are seated 10 rows apart. Thank you Saga. Despite raising an issue about the difference between the PDF itinerary and the manage my booking system this still persists as we go away on holiday. We still don't know with any confidence whether we are getting 6, 7, 8 or 9 meals while on holiday as different documents say different things. VERY disappointed in the flight seating arrangements as we have booked and paid ages ago. If I had booked last week I could understand that, but was booked in January! It just adds to the stress of travelling and should really be a basic 'thing' for a holiday company that claims "All is backed up by the high standards and service that you expect from Saga" to be able to arrange. For the sake of clarity, our holiday was booked with Saga but is being provided by TITAN.

Grand tour of Japan for 21 days

Our tour guide Colin and local tour guide seiko were excellent throughout the tour. From the time we were picked up from home by Colin our driver, who was very punctual, to being met by our driver John to bring us home after the holiday was so well organised we could not fault anything. We had a daily schedule from Colin so we knew what we were doing, the hotels we stayed in were excellent, as was the staff, the country is so clean, all transport runs on time and the people are so friendly, food was good (if you like suishi),there was western style breakfast in the hotels though. We are now looking forward to our next tour with titan and hope it is as good as this one.

Canadian Rockies Grand Circle tour

We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in British Columbia and Alberta on the Canadian Rockies Grand Circle tour. Mostly a coach holiday, the pace was just right. The vehicle was very comfortable and our driver, Byron Stroud was excellent. We were lucky to be accompanied by tour manager Alex Cussins whose experience, knowledge and organisational skills were second to none. All the accommodation was very good and although the itinerary had to be altered a little (some things not yet open in May) the variety of activities and the fantastic scenery and wildlife could not fail to please. Two days on the Rocky Mountaineer were very special and not to be missed. All in all, a well planned trip from start to finish. Thank you Saga /Titan for making us feel quite special.

An incredible experience !

In the Footsteps of Livingstone. There are not enough words to say how wonderful this trip is!, I want to go again! Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe were incredible, a long awaited dream and my breath was taken away. Botswana magical. The game drives, river cruises , the light aircraft flight will never be forgotten. The animals up close , their babies and finally the elusive leopard I cannot put into words how amazing it was. We had a great guide Lech who made sure we saw so much and more. Lots of tears from me so overcome and in awe. Accommodation superb and our guide Morag was a lovely lady so sad to say goodbye. Titan thank you for a trip I will NEVER forget. I'm already looking through your brochure for another trip! Thank you highly recommend this trip .

We booked and paid a deposit with…

We booked and paid a deposit with extension our Kenya trip last October 2023 to take us on our next adventure this August 2024. A party of 4 costing over £20k Grand Safari Kenya with a Mombasa addition.Exciting and so looking forward to this. We went to pay our full cost on 24th May and was told by Hay’s Travel our agent that the holiday was no longer available on that date. 😢 So we gave a few different options we are still no further forward.Apparently we were told 6 spaces were left for 6th September so no problem let’s go for that but it seems the issue was the extension?we are guessing. But titan offer this in their brochure.Very frustrated customers because we are no further forward due to being not available now but Titan are not offering what is available with extension. Why is this taken so long it’s over two weeks and we have no confirmation.Hays Travel are keeping us updated but you don’t help the situation.

Date of experience : 03 June 2024

Hi, We're so sorry to hear about your disappointment. This is clearly not the kind of feedback we hope to receive. If you could please email over your booking reference details to [email protected], we will look into this further and ask our agents to contact you directly to provide an update. We do hope that we can find a resolution, restore your faith in us and that you have a great holiday. Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

Hi our first experience with Titan was…

Hi our first experience with Titan was with Michael a driver from Plymouth. He picked us up from St Austell Cornwall and took us to a hotel near Gatwick airport. He was first class looking after my wife and myself on the journey could not ask for a better driver. Now looking forward to the onward experience and holiday in Sicily Arthur and Sharon Robertson

Hi, Thanks so much for your review. We're delighted to hear that you had a great start to your holiday and that Michael provided such great service. We hope you have a fantastic time in Sicily, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

The Tour Guide and local guides were…excellent pity about hotels

The Tour Guide and local guides were excellent. The hotels not so good. Big conference hotels where we felt processed. Food, not wonderful and coffee awful. Too many other tours at one hotel, dining room was crowded and noisy. Locations not too good re access to other restaurants. A pity as Puglia is well worth the visit.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to share your review. We're really pleased to hear that your tour manager and local guides looked after you so well. Your comments regarding the restaurants are disappointing as we do appreciate that dining is an important part of the overall experience. These will be passed to our products team for their information and review. We do hope that you will still consider us for your future travel plans, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

Sicily, Jewel of the Mediterranean

The recent tour to Sicily we went on had a fantastic Titan guide (Jill), who looked after everyone very well. It was ‘full on’, which was great for us (packing in all the highlights of the island in one go) but was hard going for some of the party and many suggested inserting a ‘rest day’ or two. Some hotels were of better quality than others - the Mercure in Palermo were poor on customer service (waiting 50 min for bags to be brought to the room then having to get them myself, without any apology) and the hotel in Agrigento was not 4 star standard to our minds. The Noto and Naxos hotels, however, were lovely (although different) and ticked all the boxes in their own way. Some of the sites visited were spectacularly memorable (Palatine Chapel, Monreale, Valley of the Temples) and others such as Noto and Ragusa were lovely in their own way and very worthwhile. Others were of less value and could have been cut or reduced (visiting the chocolate shop in Modica was of little value as was the cake shop in Erice), while it was a shame that a town such as Enna was missed out completely. Overall a thoroughly worthwhile trip with lots of highlights and a group that was a pleasure to be with.

Bucket List Trip of a Lifetime - Route 66…

This Route 66 holiday was an awesome experience. As I/we sit back home writing this review, the impact this holiday made will be long lasting for months to come. Steve Pritchard, Titan (who chaperoned us from Heathrow and back and Joe (our driver Stateside) were a great combination that made the intensive pace run like clockwork. Steve’s attention to detail was second to none and his knowledge kept us focused on getting the best experiences. The hotels were well chosen and places visited well thought through. Checking into the hotels were made easy by Steve being able to ‘bulk’ all the room keys and hand them out on arrival. Any body contemplating a tour like this should ask for Steve Pritchard and Joe. A number of us are considering doing the Deep South tour next year with Titan, but requesting Steve & Joe to manage us. A huge applause is merited for making great memories. Bern & Diane Bakes 🥳👏👏

We're thrilled to hear that you had such a great time and really pleased that Steve and Joe did such a great job. Canada Tour May 2024

From the moment we were picked up from home, to be driven to Heathrow, for our 2 weeks in Canada, everything was perfect. Our driver Trevor was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for him. At Heathrow we met up with our tour director, for the next 2 weeks, Alex Cussins. From that moment our holiday was perfect in every way, the planning, organisation, places we visited, the accommodation, all excellent. Even the 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer was perfect. The organising of our luggage being collected before boarding, then left in our hotel rooms for when we arrived, perfect in every way. A special big thankyou to Alex, he was brilliant, his knowledge of everywhere we went, was incredible. Also, our coach driver for the 2 weeks, Baron Stroud, he was absolutely brilliant. Nothing too much trouble to him. This was our first Titan holiday, hopefully not our last. Thankyou. Val and Steve, Tingley, West Yorks.

Hi Val and Steve, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your review of your recent trip. It sounds like you had a wonderful experience exploring Canada. We're delighted to hear that Alex and the team did such a great job making the trip so special. We look forward to you joining us on another Titan adventure, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

Lack of information regards possible…

Lack of information regards possible extension Phoned to make a booking on a Nile trip three weeks ago tomorrow and asked for cost of an extension at the end of the holiday- as advertised as possible I am still waiting, have phoned three times and very nice folks who replied could not help me and said they were waiting for the information. I have not travelled with Titan before but this does not fill me with a huge amount of confidence

Hi, Thanks for sharing your review. We're really sorry to read about your disappointment with the booking process. We understand that our sales managers are aware of your booking and are working to find a resolution. They will be in touch with you directly to confirm your requests. We do hope that despite these issues, you have a great holiday, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

Titan Rockies Grand Circle tour

The tour did everything described in the brochure, the hotels were mostly excellent, Rocky Mountaineer brilliant, the coach and driver superb, well lead by Alex, a very knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. It didn't all go to plan but we made up for that by all the wildlife we saw; breathtakingly beautiful, as was the scenery and many landscapes we went through. The hotels were all very lovely and each one was the same standard throughout, apart from the Lobstick Lodge Hotel we went with Titan 20 years ago, tired looking then and even more so now. What is disappointing are the tours cancelled; the Spirit Island cruise, which was too early to run in the season, also the cablecar in Whistler. We really should have had more time at Mt. Robson, Maligne Lake (half a day) and Lake Louise. We only had short stops. Also too much time, for us, in Vancouver. Why does Titan advertise these tours knowing it's too early in the season? They should schedule the holiday a bit later when all the tours are up and running. Air Canada made a mess of seat allocation for everyone both ways! The luggage movements throughout and travel arrangements to and from the airport were perfect.

Hi John, Thank you for your 5 star review. We are delighted overall you had an excellent holiday and thank you for your feedback about the excursion availability. We hope to see you again for more adventures. Kind regards Thomas Titan Travel

Good and interesting trip

Good and interesting trip. Felt a bit rushed at times, especially in Instanbul. An extra day there would have been beneficial. Also would have like more time at Gallipoli/Anzac. Feel Titan should include more detail in their brochure regarding how much walking and steps involved in Instanbul. Level 2 is not enough as have done 2 trips at that level with ease. Our guide, Serhat, and driver, Ali, were both excellent. The visit to the village and lunch with local families were a highlight and excellent. Unfortunately, felt boat trip in Instanbul not value for money, and would not recommend.

Date of experience : 15 May 2024

Hi Marguerita, Thanks for sharing your feedback for your recent trip. We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience and that Serhat, Ali and the team did a great job. We do appreciate your suggestions for improvements, these will be passed to our products team for their information and review. We look forward to you joining us on another Titan adventure very soon, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

Highs and lows

Hotel in ideal position for walking along the Turia. València is a wonderful destination and our experience was enhanced with the help of our guide Jack. Clean hotel, pleasant staff. Ruined by dreadful food in the evening . Last evening, cold fish soup. Not a vegetable in sight, highly salted, large lumps of brown meat and thin dry fried potatoe. Alternative a plate of bitter salad leaves with dry chicken scattered on top. Pudding cold custard with a biscuit balanced on top. Fortunately discovered a nearby restaurant Roma where we could purchase edible food at a reasonable price. Not good enough Titon, food is important toward a holiday.

Hi Margaret, Thanks for sharing your review. We're really sorry to hear about your disappointment in the food served on this trip, as we appreciate that dining is an important part of the overall holiday experience. We have passed your comments on to our Customer Relations team who will investigate the issues you have raised and contact you directly to address your concerns. We do hope that you will still consider us for your future travel plans, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

DAY 1 London - In Flight

HOLIDAY INN MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VIP Outbound1 Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow Airport and a direct, scheduled Jet Airways flight to Mumbai.

DAY 2 Mumbai

CHITWAN JUNGLE LODGE Upon arrival, we transfer to the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport (4T), where we stay overnight. Spend your afternoon relaxing after your journey, or take a taxi to the furiously energetic city

DAY 3 Mumbai - Nagpur - Kanha National Park

Early this morning we return to the airport for our flight to Nagpur. On arrival mid-morning, we drive for around five hours along fascinating roads to Kanha National Park. This 940sq km park is famous for its population of tigers and deer. We check in at Chitvan Jungle Lodge (3T+), hidden amongst the dense jungle.

DAY 4 Kanha National Park

We rise early this morning to travel into the jungle by jeep, accompanied by an experienced naturalist. Conservationists have worked hard over the last 60 years to research and conserve the area’s ecosystem, making it one of the finest wildlife reserves in the world. Heading into the park at sunrise allows us the opportunity to watch the jungle wake and make the most of the cool morning temperatures to patrol their territories. This is our first opportunity to find the much-loved yet sadly endangered Bengal tiger, surprisingly well camouflaged amongst the long grasses. We return to the hotel later this morning for time to relax and take lunch before our afternoon safari takes us into a different park zone for further exciting opportunities to spot the seemingly endless list of inhabitants along riverbanks, in open savannahs or ancient woods, including the powerful tiger and elegant peacock - two of India’s national symbols. We return to the hotel at sunset, with a chance to freshen up before a demonstration of Indian cooking, followed by dinner.

DAY 5 Kanha National Park

TULI TIGER CORRIDOR We have a second day dedicated to safaris through the beautiful Kanha National Park. Stringent conservation projects have ensured that the park’s fauna and flora is well maintained and continues to support 22 species of mammals in total, and some 200 species of birds including the black ibis, hawk eagle and the red-wattled lapwing, the sambar - the largest Indian deer; Indian wild dog, sloth bear and the occasional panther, so there is plenty to look for today. Tonight we take a short walk after dinner, for an amazing stargazing opportunity. On a clear night, far from the polluting lights of civilization, a galaxy of stars cover the sky and, after a short introduction of the stars and constellations, you have the opportunity to also see planets through the telescope.

DAY 6 Kanha National Park - Pench National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Pench National Park, approximately three hours away in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills. This Southern Indian tropical forest is crisscrossed by a number of streams and nullahs (ravines), most of which are seasonal. The Pench River and undulating topography support a vast variety of vegetation, from lush valleys to dry deciduous forest and open grassland. On arrival, we check into our resort, Tuli Tiger Corridor (3T+), with a great view of the jungle.

DAY 7 Pench National Park

SVASARA JUNGLE LODGE

Today is devoted to two safaris in Pench National Park, taking to our jeeps at sunrise and again early this afternoon, pausing to rest and eat lunch. An assortment of deer - Pench chital, sambar, and nilgai (blue bull) - are commonly seen grazing on the open banks of the Pench River and reservoir. Sloth bear prefer the hilly, rocky outcrops while flying squirrels enjoy leaping between trees, crocodiles wallow in the network of lakes and jackals and packs of up to 15 of wild dog can be seen searching for food all over the reserve. Your experienced driver and guide will keep their eyes peeled for the elusive leopard - numbers are good here - and tigers on the prowl. Four endangered species of vulture are protected in this sanctuary; but peafowl, Red junglefowl, crimson-breasted barbet, red-vented bulbul, racket-tailed drongo and lesser whistling teal are more common.

DAY 9 Tadoba Andhari Reserve

Game drives in Tadoba Andhari Reserve fill your morning and afternoon. Your safaris may take you to the vast Tadoba Lake, a perennial water source which offers a good habitat for mugger - or Indian - crocodiles to thrive. These threatened ‘water monsters’ grow up to five meters and enjoy the shallow waters and swamp land. Besides the powerful Bengal tiger, which is frequently sighted here (it is estimated 114 adults roam the park and 24 cubs were born here last year alone), you can also spot Indian leopard, sloth bear, blue bull, hyena, barking deer, flying squirrel, pangolin, monitor lizard and rusty-spotted cat, if you’re lucky, plus the Indian python, Indian cobra and wolf spiders.

DAY 10 Tadoba Andhari Reserve

TRIDENT NARIMAN POINT Another early start as we embark on morning and afternoon jungle jeep safaris through Tadoba Andhari Reserve, offering final opportunities to spot your favorite native wildlife.

DAY 11 Tadoba Andhari Reserve - Mumbai

ARRIVE HOME This morning we transfer to Nagpur Airport for a flight back to Mumbai. On arrival, we transfer to our hotel, the Trident Nariman Point (3T+). This afternoon we take a coach tour of the city, taking in some of its most notable sights. A city is a busy place, with some of the world’s grandest colonial architecture, hidden temples and unique bazaars. Visit the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s principal landmark. This arch of yellow basalt was erected on the waterfront in 1924 to commemorate King George V’s visit to this colony in 1911. We see the Afghan Church, built in memory of those who fell in the First Afghan War and drive past the neo-gothic Bombay High Court and the Old Secretariat. View the ornamental University Building with its 280ft high Raja Bhai Clock Tower, the colourful Crawford Market, the Flora Fountain in the large bustling square at the heart of the city, and the exuberant Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, one of the world’s most extravagant train stations, combining Victorian, Hindu and Islamic tastes with domes, turrets and stained glass. We continue along Marine Drive, also known as the Queen’s Necklace, and view the memorial to Muslim saint Haji Ali. This unusual shrine stands on an island 500m out at sea and is linked by a causeway to the mainland. We also take in Malabar Hill with Kamala Nehru Park, drive past the Mahalaxmi Temple, stop at the Jain Temple and visit Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his time in Mumbai and launched the Civil Disobedience campaign. A small museum now fills this building, exhibiting photos taken of Gandhi throughout his life and letters from him to Adolf Hitler and Franklin D Roosevelt. The room he slept in remains minimal, with its floor mattress and low tables.

Sicily in April

The trip was extremely well organised from car collection through all visits and hotels. Our Tour Manager Jill was excellent with very good local guides used on a number of occasions. A couple of the dinners were not the greatest but overall food very good and would recommend

Istanbul and Cappadocia

A most enjoyable tour thanks to our tour manager Serhat. He guided us through bustling Istanbul before setting off cross country for Cappadocia. Magnificent scenery and lots of ancient sites. He kept us entertained on the long coach journeys.

Rocky Maintain RailTour

Rocky Mountain Railtour We have recently returned from the above Tour operated by Titan between 15th and 25th May 2024. After a flight with Air Canada arriving in Calgary, we boarded our coach to take us onward to our first destination of Banff. We arrived at the Caribou Lodge Hotel, nice and clean, comfortable but a little outdated, but had the perfect Bar / Restaurant called The Keg. The very next day we was up early to set off on tour with no time for breakfast and toured the surrounding area’s on Banff which was just perfect but very short lived because we was leaving the very next morning for Jasper. Following morning again no time for breakfast, but boarded the coach and set off for Jasper. On the way we stopped at Lake Louise, and then onward to the Victoria Glacier which was lots of fun ( Tip, The optional excursion to the SkyWalk - Nothing special and in our opinion a waste of money ). Finally we arrived in Jasper for a two night stay at The Forest Park Hotel, which on appearance looks very nice and comfortable, however has a very poor Bar / Restaurant on site with limited seating and long waits to get a table and only has four seats at the Bar, some of the party couldn’t get a seat and missed out altogether on an evening meal which was shocking to hear, the Hotel is a long walk from the Town and basically in the middle of nowhere. Optional excursion with Art was lots of fun and we managed to get to see a Grisly Bear. Next morning no time for breakfast, but straight onto the coach for a tour of Jasper. Finally had some free time to explore Jasper Town which is very nice. Next morning no time for breakfast but straight to the train station to catch the Rocky Mountaineer travelling GoldLeaf. Just perfect before arriving into Kamloops for a one night stay before boarding the following morning again for our final leg of the Journey into Vancouver. Vancouver was not nice and full of druggies with contorted bodies and made you feel unsafe and we was glad to leave after staying two nights in this awful location, no time for breakfast but straight back on the coach for our next and final destination of Victoria. The best hotel of the whole trip was the Chateau Suites Victoria, beautiful comfortable hotel in a great location, staying for two nights. After this we travelled by to Vancouver Airport, stopping at a shopping mall for three hours before going on to the Airport for our overnight flight back to 🇬🇧 Expect no time in the mornings for having breakfast, but the previous evening we purchased breakfast from supermarkets and placed in the mini fridge to have in the morning before boarding the coach. Overall this was a lot of money with hardly anytime time spent in our favourite locations of Banff and Jasper.

Golden Triangle India

From being picked up from from home and being deposited back to cornwall I can only say the whole experience was amazing. From seeing the tigers to the wonders of India this was a holiday I will never forget. Alison and bhu were so full of information and helpfulness I don’t think it could be improved upon. The only thing I have to decide on is where shall I go next and obviously with titan.

Grand Tour Japan

We did the Grand Tour but I think they should rename it the Whistle Stop Tour or increase the tour by a week. There was never enough time in any place we visited everything felt rushed. Saying that we throughly enjoyed our time in Japan but a few less shrines or temples would not degrade the holiday.

Hi Ann, Thanks for providing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your disappointment in the pace of the tour. You comments are important to us as they help us to identify areas for improvement and we can assure you that your feedback will be passed to our products teams for their information and review. The selections of hotels were first…

The selections of hotels were first class. The food in all those hotels were excellent and in every hotel the staff were faultless, nothing was too much trouble for them. The excursions were well planned and well thought out. Our tour manager Sanjeev Kumar was very informative and cheerfull at all times even whilst under pressure from one disruptive guest, who, in my opinion, should not have been on the tour as it was clearly not suitable for her, As she was in a wheal chair the Travel Agents should have encouraged her not to book that particular tour as there was a lot of rough terrain and she should have had a carer with her.

Date of experience : 27 April 2024

Hi Stewart, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your review of your recent trip. We do appreciate your feedback regarding the suitability of the tour for some of the guests. We do advertise the pace of each tour and request that travellers indicate any additional requirements so that we can ensure that the tour is suitable. We're pleased that despite these concerns, you did enjoy the trip and that Sanjeev and the team looked after you all so well. We do hope you will consider us for your future travel plans, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

The Jewel of the Mediterranean trip to Sicily…

The Jewel of the Mediterranean trip to Sicily organised by Titan/Saga lived up to all expectations. We were very lucky with the weather, the hotels were great, daily guided tours well organised, and Jill our 'leader' brought everything together. Sicily itself was the real star of the show and I shall be returning.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to share your review. It sounds like you had a wonderful time in Sicily and that Jill and the team looked after you all really well. We look forward to you joining us again, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

Booking is easy with Titan Travel…

Found booking on line with Titan Travel as easy as going into a travel agency.

Hi Joan, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We hope you have a wonderful holiday with us, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

The booking staff were helpful…

The booking staff were helpful especially Ferhat and Adam. Ferhat is a proper salesman. He knows how to talk to customers. I ended booking for 2 holidays when initially I wanted to book only one with Titan and the 2nd one with another company. That shows he is good at his job. I previously had a bad experience with Titan in Paloma Italy in 2010 which wasn’t investigated by Titan. I avoided Titan for many years so this is a trial to see how this holiday will go.

Date of experience : 15 April 2024

Hi Emah, Thank you for taking the time to share your great feedback with us.. We are delighted to hear how well Ferhat and Adam looked after you. Thank you for returning to Titan, we cannot wait to send you away on your next tour. Kind regards, Nic Titan Travel

Sue, solo traveller on Contrasts of Valencia

Submitted by Sue. This was a very comprehensive tour of the lovely city of Valencia. The group size was small, which made the holiday a very friendly experience, and we all got on well. As l was travelling solo, this was a real bonus. Our tour manager, Jack, was excellent. He ensured that we all saw the best of the city and offered a couple of optional excursions to restaurants and to 'Little Venice', on which he accompanied us and this enhanced the holiday a good deal. The main downsides (which explains my 4* rating rather than 5*) related to the hotel. These were: a) the location of the hotel, quite some way from the old town, either a long walk or taxi ride away. Restaurant options in the area were somewhat limited. b) the quality of food at dinner. We were not provided with any choices for any of the three courses, and the food was far inferior to the quality and choice of the a- la-carte menu displayed in the lift. The waiting staff tried their best to provide alternatives, but the main point is that no consideration appears to have been given by Titan to dietary requirements or personal preferences. I felt like a second class client, and this was quite an expensive holiday. This aspect did not provide value for money at all. My room could have been better, and storage space was limited, although the bed was comfortable. l had a view of a brick wall and the bathroom could have been better designed. Getting in and out of the bath to take a shower was somewhat difficult. I think the hotel was 3* and not 4* because of the above. That said, the hotel was clean, the bar area pleasant and staff friendly and helpful. If you are thinking of booking this holiday, it does offer a lovely tour itinerary, but it should be noted that significant amounts of walking are needed.

Hi Susan, Thanks for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent trip to Valencia. We're so pleased to hear that you had such a great time with Jack and the rest of the group. We do appreciate your feedback for the hotel. These are clearly not the kind of comments we hope to receive, but they do help us to make improvements to our tours. We look forward to you joining us again on another Titan adventure, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

Our Great Indian Rail Journey holiday…

Our Great Indian Rail Journey holiday with Titan was an amazing experience. It was not for the faint hearted and my husband and I would not have coped had it not been for the support given to us by the excellent Tour Guide Sanjeeve Kumar. Our mobility was not strong enough to cope with the amount of walking and climbing steps that was necessary and in very high temperatures. However a wheelchair and someone to push made it possible for my husband to participate in the majority of the experiences. An added cost but totally necessary. The hotels used were lovely and the transport was expertly driven through the manic city traffic which at first sight was frightening so thanks also go to our driver and his assistant for their care and attention. This was a holiday that touched all our senses. The sights sounds taste and smells will stay with us forever. We learnt so much about the Indian Culture from a very knowledgeable guide who also turned a group of 14 strangers into a family. Thank you Sanjeeve and all our fellow travellers. I highly recommend this holiday but bear in mind you should do it while you have your health and strength to ensure the maximum experience.

Hi Nora, Thanks for taking the time to share such a great review of your recent trip. It sounds like you had a wonderful adventure exploring India with Sanjeeve and the team. We're thrilled that you had the opportunity to experience all that India has to offer. We look forward to you joining us on another Titan adventure, Best Wishes, Deb Titan Travel

Essence of Japan

Geoff our Titan tour manager really made the trip fun & enjoyable The Japanese guides were very knowledgeable but their English pronunciation made it difficult to understand. The down side of the trip wss once again the failure with British Airways, this time with loss of pre booked allocated seats.

Date of experience : 16 April 2024

Thank you Ian, for your feedback from which we are delighted to hear how well Geoff organised your Tour. It is a shame to read you did not receive your pre booked allocated seats. Our Customer Service Team have been made aware and will be in contact with you soon to resolve this matter. Kind regards, Nic Titan Travel

A very enjoyable holiday with a Titan rep who was exceptionally helpful. Rachel ensured we were all looked after. I would suggest that the organised trips could be better spaced so that free days are not consecutive.
