New in our program 2014. Developed for hard work in both the Arctic and Antarctic. It’s a real hybrid pulk. Man hauling or kiting, its  doing its job, effective and reliable. A real allround expedition pulk. 

The high , round bow section provides strength and excellent movability through tough ice conditions. The overall dimensions offer floating abilities  needed when moving on sea ice. 63  cms width  makes this pulk a very stable one.  This is also reflected through the  bottom design of the pulk. It  is designed to  create a maximum of stability. Therefore its  very good to use in combination with kites, on days with favorable winds.

It’s the first model that is  designed to fit perfectly to our new runner system, which is unique. The milled runners increases the gliding abilities significantly compared  to flat runner surfaces that have been the standard until  now. Experienced Polar Explorers were astonished  of its effects, when testing these runners.

We do also offer this model in a different layup which makes it very interesting for expedition businesses and guiding  companies. Send us an email to [email protected] We provide you with more information. The pulks can be nested ( put into each other) when transported or stored.

The opinion of Aventure Nordique

The Acapulka Scandic Tour 100 is a pulk developed with the military. This sledge has been well proven in extreme races and Arctic marathons. This sled is dedicated for multi-day Nordic raids. This model allows a battery life of about 15 days or a little more if you also carry a backpack.

The format of the Scandic Tour 100 makes it versatile and easy to handle on most terrains. Its broad shape makes it very stable on hard snow and floats well in powder snow.

The Acapulka Scandic Tour 100 is well designed and made from good quality materials.

The Cordura nylon sewn cover is tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant. It is equipped with a long zip YKK 10 mm with double slider easy to handle with gloves and mittens. On the top, the pulk is equipped with an elastic drawstring + 3 polyester compression straps + 2 carrying straps.

The continuous zipper on the cover allows easy opening / closing, which is a practical and reliable asset during storms.

Under the pulk, 2 STSR runners offer optimal glide. The machine-cut edges bite better on the snow and limit slippage laterally. These slides are easily replaceable by pulling them backwards.

At the front, the pulka is equipped with steel supports designed to accommodate a rigid shaft (sold separately).
