 Enjoy the true beauty of South Melbourne Beach, that is unseen by most visitors. Treat your guests and yourself to a two-hour wildlife tour on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon. Observe Dolphins, manatees and numerous species of wading birds in their natural environment, as we cruise through the pristine canals of the mullet Creek islands and surrounding lagoon. Our boat will accommodate up to six passengers.

Your trip will depart from Honest John's Fish Camp ( an historic government Homestead established in 1887 ) located approximately 6 miles North of Sebastian inlet just off of state road A1A.

 In addition to a 2 hr. Wildlife tours we also offer, half-day trips and full-day trips. You may also have an interest in combining a wildlife tour with a stop at one of our local water front restaurants or use the opportunity to look at waterfront real estate. 

Satisfaction Guaranteed

 The cost for a two-hour wildlife tour is $40 per person and $30 for children under 12. We need a minimum of two people to make the trip. Trips are available every day except on Tuesdays. In the summertime it is best to book a trip early in the day(less chance of a thunderstorm) you can book a trip right up to the day you would like to go but booking in advance will assure you an opening.

We at Indian River Lagoon and Swampland Boat Tours conduct guided educational and entertaining scenic eco boat tours of the Florida Indian River Lagoon (IRL) and Estuary. Boat tours are conducted seasonal from the Fort Pierce FL City Marina aboard the 60 passenger (+2 crew) pontoon boat, “Emilie”. Perfect for large groups!

During the 90 minute boat cruise, visitors may see many of the 2765 animals and 1350 plants that live in the Indian River Lagoon. First time going on a tour in Florida and I had a awesome time. The boat was a bit difficult to find at first but we managed right before it was to leave . Left at 10 am exactly as well and the whole ride was 90 minutes. The boat itself was clean and there was a small amount of people on the ride . The Captain was interesting to listen to regarding facts about Florida and wildlife. It was a beautiful day and I personally would go again . Yes I used Groupon and had to pay an extra 7% sales tax and please remember EXACT CHANGE ONLY .

My son, my wife, and I enjoyed this tour of the Indian River Lagoon on September 2, 2023. Captain Bob was polite and very knowledgeable about both the wildlife and the community. We saw a multitude of different birds such a Pelicans, Osprey, and Egrets. We also saw Bottle Nosed River Dolphins feeding and playing around the wake of the boat. Captain Bob was an excellent tour guide. Don't believe all the negative reviews on here.

Upon entry was not even greeted or a "hello". Found out the captain was the owner. He was rude and all he did was brag about himself and how much money he had. He was arrogant rude and made the trip terrible. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to booking because apparently there is a lot of bad reviews that all say the same thing. DO NOT TAKE THIS TRIP. You'll be sorry'

Highly disappointed in the customer service of Bob, the owner. While on vacation from Washington state, I checked Groupon and saw this tour available. The Groupon fine print was very clear. I was to make sure I check availability on their website dolfun.com which I did. They had availability for four the very next day at 1 PM. I then proceeded to purchase the Groupon and email the business like the directions said to do with all of my information and the date requested. I received an email back from Bob and all it said was " I'm full of Groupon reservations." I responded quickly telling him his website stated he had availability for 4. Then then emailed me back telling me I could pay full price. After I told him that was horrible customer service and I would be leaving a review he proceeded to call me a "loser" and tell me I should "learn how to read" because not all 3000 Groupon vouchers can be used on one day. I let him know that if they only allow a certain amount of guests to purchase Groupons per day and book, that should be specified on the site. I'm now out money and a tour even though I could pay full price to come take the same tour at the same time. Hope others have a better experience than I did.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! OWNER VERY RUDE!! We found DolFun Tours on Groupon. We read all the fine print and purchased vouchers for our family vacation (multiple families). It said 1 voucher per person per visit and each person could purchase a total of 12 vouchers. Once you purchase the Groupon voucher for DolFun Tours you need to email with voucher info to reserve your spots on the tour boat. We have several families going with our group so every family purchased their own vouchers. I emailed DolFun Tours with all our information (including screenshots of all the vouchers) per the Groupon instructions to redeem. The business/owner responded that they only allow 10 Groupon guests per tour. I explained that it did not say that on Groupon when we read the fine print and purchased the vouchers. He said they only use Groupon to advertise and they dont call/email back so maybe I should call them myself to have them write only 10 Groupon guests per tour....what? DolFun Tours wants ME, the customer, to call Groupon and ask them to change the fine print for YOUR companies "advertising." When I said as a business owner myself I would honor the vouchers because it's not the customers fault that DolFun Tours/Groupon have issues with communication. The owner told me to take responsibility for my own actions and called me a liar and a cheat. VERY unprofessional behavior and I will "advertise" how horrible my experience with DolFun Tours was. Side note- Groupon has always been wonderful to work with and will cancel our vouchers.

Groupon fine print

I have mixed feelings about DolFun. A company can provide an amazing service, yet still lose kudos for being misleading. 1 star for honesty in advertising. I received a Groupon for a 90-minute dolphin tour. The small print indicates it does not include tax. Like most Groupons, tax is based off of the full-price tickets. Fine and expected. Full price tickets are $27.99. Tax (7 percent) on two tickets should be less than $4.00. When I followed the steps to redeem the Groupon and schedule a reservation, I was charged $9.50 for "tax." This should be rephrased as tax and gratuities. 5 stars for the ride itself. The captain was knowledgeable and made sure we saw a LOT of dolphins, particularly at the beginning and end of trip. The boat was comfortable, in good repair and boasted good views for all. Overall, I would recommend this trip to others as so long as they are aware they will be charged an extra $5.50 than what is to be expected.

I found this gem on Groupon, and I'm glad I did. We were visiting my in laws in the area and I booked a boat ride for the 6 of us. The captain was funny with his super cheesy jokes, the ride was calm and beautiful, but unfortunately, we didn't see as many dolphins as we had hoped. It's not his fault, they are wild animals, so they are unreliable. But he tried, and I give him credit for that. And our tour ran long because we did finally, at the end of our 90 minute tour, come across a bunch of dolphins. So that was about 20 minutes out of 90. He did have a lot of fun facts about the area and pointed out different things like birds, trees, bridges, homes, and businesses, and he actually made them interesting. Probably wouldn't recommend at full price, but definitely if you get the Groupon. Oh, and tips are "expected", there are signs all over and you are expected to pay the sales tax on the boat, not with the ticket price. There isn't a bathroom, but coolers and snacks are welcome if you bring your own.

It was fine... I do these tours pretty often because I love nature tour and a boat ride is a great thing to do with visitors who come through town. This one I probably wouldn't do again because to guide (business owner I believe) he talked about real estate and laws and builders and fishing. It was really only a a bit of a tour of one little inlet and around the area we boarded. We saw a few dolphins. I mean I got a Groupon but even then. I wouldn't use this company again. It was 1.5 hrs on the dot. Not easy to find where to board and didn't feel like a real business because we got on at a public boat ramp.

I took my residents from Greenwood Place to see the dolphins this afternoon. Captain Bob, staff and the whole experience was amazing. Dolfun tours was quick to respond to all my questions and emails, very professional and informative. We had some wheelchairs with us and Bob was very helpful with everything wich made the trip go smoothly. Very pleased and will be back.

I would give this tour negative stars if I could. The owner and captain is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! We had trouble finding the boat because the directions do not work out as they should. When we got on the boat we were never greeted. This guy (Bob) is sitting right there and does not say a word to us. That was terrible. We sat down and started discussing how the directions were not very good and he (bob)turns around and starts telling us how we don't know how to follow directions. We put in the gps address given and it went somewhere else we just happened to find the place on accident. He continued to argue with us about how we should not trust technology and the other people on the boat followed instructions. He continued to argue until my husband told him the conversation was over. We had a horrible experience. We did not even care about the boat ride after that, he completely ruined it for us! He does nothing but talk about himself and who he knows and brags and brags. Don't do it!!! Stay away.

1. Space Coast Burger Battle in Wickham Park

The third annual Space Coast Burger Battle will be at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, on Saturday, May 18 from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy special a-la-carte menus with food priced at $5 or less per item. There will also be live entertainment, an arts and crafts fair, gem mining, axe throwing, face painting and more. Burger vendors will compete to win the title of “Best Burger.” General admission tickets are $7 for a single day or $10 for a weekend pass, or free for kids ages 10 and younger. 2. Thunder on Cocoa Beach

The Thunder on Cocoa Beach Super Boat Grand Prix powerboat race returns to Cocoa Beach on May 16 through 19. The races kick off around 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, off the shore of Cocoa Beach, with related events planned for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The racing event, one of the largest in Central Florida, draws top race teams in the world to compete in various classes, with Class 1 racers reaching speeds over 175 mph. This year’s races will take place offshore from Alan Shepard Park to Coconuts on the Beach. Throughout the weekend race teams from around the world will be on display in the Port Canaveral parking lot. Admission is free, but VIP tickets with access to shaded seating, refreshments and premium viewing are available. Ready, Set, Race! Thunder on Cocoa Beach returns for 14th year

3. The Orlando Gay Chorus at Surfside Playhouse

The Orlando Gay Chorus, one of the largest LGBTQIA+ choruses in the United States, will give a concert at Surfside Play h ouse , 301 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach, on Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. The program will feature popular hits like “9 to 5,” “Takin’ It to the Streets,” “For Good” and more. 4. ‘Dinner & Show’ concert in Satellite Beach

Melbourne Municipal Band presents “Dinner & Show,” at Trinity Wellsprings Church, 638 S. Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, on Saturday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a tri-tip dinner with all the trimmings prepared by the Satellite Beach Lions Club, followed by a concert by the Rock & Roll Revue playing hits from the ‘50s through the ‘70s. 5. Classic Albums Live: 'Queen: News of the World'

Classic Albums Live brings Queen: News of the World to the King Center on Saturday, May 18 at 8 p.m. Classic Albums Live recreates albums live on stage, note for note, cut for cut, using the world’s best musicians. 6. Theater around Brevard

• ‘The Spongebob Musical’: The show is at Cocoa Village Playhouse, 300 Brevard Ave., through May 19. When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. 7. Flick-N-Float movie: ‘Finding Dory’

Watch the movie ‘Finding Dory’ from the pool at McLarty Park Aquatic Center, 790 Barton Blvd., Rockledge, on Friday, May 17. Swimming begins at 7 p.m., and the movie starts at 8:30 p.m. The cost to swim is $4, and the movie is free to watch whether you’re in the pool or on the lawn. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. 8. Tour the historic home at Green Gables

Green Gables , 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, will host an open house every Saturday in May, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The historic home is a living history museum showcasing life in the early years of Melbourne. Visitors will learn about the history of the Wells family, who played a key role in the development of the community. The cost is $10, or free for children 12 and younger. Visit greengables.org .
