On the on the way to the Temple of St.Sava we will show you the oldest hotel in Belgrade, then Nikola Pasic square and tell you how Serbia was involved in the I and II World War. We will pass by National Assembly, Old Palace and you will find out more about Serbian royal dynasties. After we will pass by St. Marko’s church and the building that is still in ruins from the NATO bombing in the 1999. Walk continues across Tasmajdan park heading to the Nikola Tesla museum where you will hear the stories about this genius mind. Final stop is at St. Sava Temple where we will enter to see the crypt.

AMAZING TOUR COMPANY WITH AMAZING GUIDES!

My mom and I were in Belgrade for four days, and planned to take at least one guided tour a day. As we arrived at midday on our first day we took a downtown tour in the direction of St. Sava with Jelena, who was amazing and knowledgeable and very friendly!!! Imagine our surprise when we showed up the next morning for the downtown tour in the direction of Dorcol and she was our guide AGAIN! In any case, she was excellent in both tours, and the company as a whole left such a good impression that we came the next day for their tip-based Zemun Tour.

This time, we met the lovely Nevena, who filled us in on history, the Serbian custom of Slava, and also explained to our group (six Israelis) a lot about the differences between Catholic and Orthodox churches.

We really enjoyed touring with this company, I think everyone should take at least one tour with them when visiting the city, especially during the first time! Special shout out to Jelena and Nevena, who answered alllllll of our questions and inquiries, and made excellent recommendations!

We had an amazing experience with the tour guided by Jelena. It covered all the key attractions of Belgrade and she told us a lot of interesting and funny facts. 'Rise and Fall of Yugoslavia' with Nevena

We took the “Rise adn Fall of Yugoslavia” tour with Nevena. She was incredible! A very professional guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. She gave us a great tour. She managed to fascinate us with newest history, stories about Tito and post war Belgrade, enriched with a very personal view of things, as ordinary people experienced them. Novi Sad tour

We booked this tour last minute and I’m glad we did. We got a guide all to ourselves. Her name is Tamara. She is very knowledgeable and explained all about the history and facts of the places we visited. Novi Sad is very charming and interesting city. Enjoying a coffee with a  view from  the fortress was really great. And then for the end visiting a local vinery and trying some delicious honey and wines while chatting with our guide, gave a really special touch to this tour. Insightful and Inspiring Alternative tour with the Amazing Mihailo

My partner and I went on the Alternative Tour. Mihailo lead a brilliant tour of the street art and other lesser-known areas of Belgrade. His knowledge and insight into the Belgrade sub-culture was brilliant and we learnt so much. My partner previously had little interest in street art, but found the tour hugely insightful which was entirely thanks to Mihailo. Cannot recommend the experience more highly. Mihailoa was full of useful local knowledge, happy to answer any questions and provide suggestions about other things to see and do in Belgrade. This tour is an absolute MUST, especially as Belgrade is changing so rapidly.

Nevena was our guide, it was a small group and it was really good. She is knowledgeable and I learnt a lot. Zemun has a different history than Belgrade so it’s really worth doing the tour. And you end the tour at the bank of Danube river where you can have a great lunch.

The tour itself is full of wow moments as the bunkers and tunnels and well is closed to public during winter month and Tamara had to contact the guards to open the gates for us. Tamara is very professional, friendly, enthusiastic, passionate and full of interesting historical information , there was no one dull moment on the tour. The tour ended up in a super hidden cave/ wine cellar/ bar and we  had a long, cheerful chat. I definitely recommend these tours for anyone visiting Belgrade, especially for the first time.

Excellent General Tour with Jelena

A really good tour around Belgrade, everything you’d like to see and know is covered including a general history. This is especially needed in Belgrade as the city isn’t as picturesque as other major European destinations. My guide was called Jelena and she was friendly and very knowledgeable, and she was more then willing to offer tips on where to go, public transport etc.  Overall a really good tour around Belgrade and would definitely recommend it.

However, bear in mind that we are not financed by any other company, organization or city, therefore our guides are not paid for the free tours. We can run these tours because of the travelers who like our idea and appreciate our work and time. That’s why we always do our best!

Meeting point for all our tours is at REPUBLIC SQUARE .

Just look for a guide with a WHITE umbrella and/or ID.

You don’t have to pre-book our regular free walking tours (Old Town Sunset Tour and Echoes of the 20th Century). You can just show up at the meeting point at Republic Square.

When it comes to Free Alternative Tour, Free Zemun Tour, Tour Gratis de Belgrado – Ciudad Antigua, Belgrade Paid Tours, reservation is required.

Groups including more than 10 persons must pre-register.

We recommend you to take a private tour, for your group only. If you decide to join the free tour, please, give us a heads up. We try to keep our groups smaller so we will make sure to have more guides.

All our tours are organized in English. We can organize private tours in other languages on request.

Absolutely! Most of our tours last for 2-3 hours. You can join one tour in the morning and a different one in the afternoon. Just check our timetable:)

The show must go on! Yes, we never cancel tours because of the weather. Just dress appropriately for the weather conditions and bring your smile.

Good pair of comfortable shoes is recommended!

The temperature changes from +40°C in the summer to -20°C in the winter, so choose appropriate clothing!

Do not forget your umbrella if it rains 🙂 We run tours rain or shine!

Yes! Please give us at least 8-hour notice before your tour starts. The number of available spots on our Paid Tours are limited and we often have to send away interested guests, because there is no more space. By letting us know in time (at least 8 hours ahead) that you can’t make it, we can open up the extra spot to other interested guests. Bear in mind also that sometimes the guide will show up for the tour only for you.

Each tour starts on time so please try to be punctual. The tour leaves the meeting point in about 10-12 minutes after the start time out of respect for those who did arrive on time. If you are running late or cannot find the meeting point, please contact us!

Average length of our tours is about 2-3 hours, but just like the route, please consider that each tour will be different, because it might take less if there is no intermediate stop or it might take longer, if our guests have many questions or have some walking problems, if it’s a small or a big group. Please inform your guide at the check in if you have any particular necessities.

Get to know the history and architecture of the turbulent period in Serbian development.

See the Republic Square, the Albania palace, Terazije Square with the famous Hotel Moscow, the National parliament, Belgrade city assembly and presidency, Tasmajdan Park, the Saint Marco Church, Russian Orthodox church, Radio-Television of Serbia – 1999 NATO bombing memorial, the monuments “Why?” and “We were just children”, the Faculty of Law.

We will pass by the Nikola Tesla museum and walk through beautiful Vračar streets to Slavija Square, the National Library of Serbia, and glorious Saint Sava temple .
