Betla National Park:

Betla national park is an old Reserve forest in India. 260 square km national park. located on the Chota Nagpur Plateau in the Latehar and Palamu districts of Jharkhand, India.

Sal and bamboo are the major components along with a number of medicinal plants. Mahua is also a famous and economical tree.

The park has a variety of diverse ecosystems and an abundance of wild animals. Elephants in large numbers are seen. Predators - sloth bear and panther, wolf, jackal, and hyena.  gaur and chital, large families of langurs, rhesus monkeys, Indian giant squirrels, mouse deer, sambar deer, four-horned antelopes, nilgai, Kakar, small Indian civets, ant-eating pangolin, porcupine, and mongoose. 

Birds - hornbill, peafowl, red jungle fowl, black partridge, white-necked stork, black ibis, swamp grey, quail, pied hornbill, wagtail, harial, dove, drongo, crested serpent eagle, forest owlet, papeeha, and other birds usually found in dry deciduous forests.

The park nearby is situated with waterfalls and hot springs. There are also two historical forts known as Palamu Forts, one of them situated near the Betla 10-minute distance by cab. It was built in the 16th century as the seat of the Chero Kings.

Day 1 : Arrival in Patna – Deoghar

Baidyanath Jyotirlinga commences from your arrival in Patna where you will be greeted by our tour representative. From here you will be transferred to your next destination in Deoghar which will be a journey of 6 hours. On reaching you will be checked in to your hotel where you will be spending the night. The remainder of the day will be free for you to indulge in some leisure activity or visit some popular nearby tourist attractions like Naulakha temple, Nandan Pahar etc.

Day 2 : Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Visit

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be taken for a live darshan of the holy jyotirlinga. The shrine here is said to have been the idol which Ravana was carrying to Sri Lanka with the aim of establishing it there. The temple can be visited from 4 am and closes at 9 pm. It also closes in between from 3:30 pm to 6 pm. Within the premises you may even be able to offer your prayer at the 20 more shrines here dedicated to different gods and goddesses. Finally you will be made to head back to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Deoghar – Patna departure

Your road journey for departure location of Patna will commence early in the morning after having breakfast. You will be straightaway dropped off at your departure location from where you can board your choice of transportation. This marks the end of your Baidyanath Dham Yatra with us.

Exploring Jamshedpur in 2 Nights 3 Days

Jamshedpur, the largest industrial city of Jharkhand in India is founded by the late Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.

Jamshedpur is popularly known as the Steel City and is situated at the confluence of Subarnarekha and Kharkai Rivers. This place is ideal for those who are interested in weekend trips but do not want to travel far off as it is just four hours from the city of Kolkata. It may not lure tourists when you suggest Jamshedpur for holiday mainly because it is a business hub but once you step into the city, the the greenery, the innumerable beauties, both natural and man made are sure to catch one's fancy. The best time to visit is December to March.

How to Reach :

Tatanagar station is very well connected and many trains are available from Kolkata. Although Volvo buses also run from Kolkata to Jamshedpur, it is advisable to go by train as the train journey is comfortable.

If one is planning a short trip, it is better to catch the first morning train which is BBN-JANSHATABDI starting from Howrah at 6.20 a.m. and reaching Tatanagar in less than 3.5 hours. 2 way AC Chair Car tickets will cost around INR 910 (1 way being INR 455) whereas 2way 2S is INR 280.

Since it is the industrial capital of Jharkhand, this city is both a business and tourist destination. Hence one can get hotels of all categories, both budget and luxury, ranging from INR 600 to 5000. It is better to stay near the Railway Station as autos and cars are available whole night. Both hired cars and auto rickshaws are available for city tours. An Indigo will cost approximately INR 1000 /1500 per day depending on the distance and time whichever is higher.

The main attractions of the city are: Jubilee Park, Dimna Lake, Jamshedpur Stadium, Tata Steel Zoological Garden, Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary and Chandil Dam.

We started our journey by visiting the beautiful Dimna Lake which is 13 kms from the city and is situated at the foot of Dalma Hills. The lake though artificial is very beautiful and surrounded by mountains in all directions with lots of greeneries.

One can also enjoy boating in this serene lake. However, it is preferable to visit the lake in the day time as this place is not safe in the evening.

The Jubilee Park is built over a vast area and was gifted by Jamshetji Tata to the locales on completion of 50 years of the city. This park reminds tourists of Kashmir’s Mughal Garden and Bangalore’s Vrindaban Garden. It is decorated with rose gardens all over, flower beds and illuminated fountains.

The added attractions are a lake and an amusement park. The musical laser show in the evening is a must watch.

The Park looks heavenly during the birth anniversary of Shri Jamshedji Tata on 3rd March when the whole place is decorated with lights.

Tata Steel Zoological Park is situated in the adjoining area of Jubilee Park. This zoo is very big and almost all kinds of animals are found here. To avoid walking, one can also hire the ‘Baghakudar Express’ at a rate of Rs.200/- which will cover the entire zoo in a span of half an hour to 45 mins.

This is one of the best zoos and has Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Hippopotamus, Porcupines, Butterflies, Birds to name among a few.

We checked out from the Hotel early morning and started for Asanboni which is just 17 kms from Jamshedpur. Asanboni which is situated at the foot of Dalma Hills is very calm and peaceful and you will love the tranquility of the place.

The best place to stay in Asanboni is the Hill View Resort. Although it is a little expensive starting from INR 1900), you will love your stay here and it is worth your money.

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is located 10 kms from Jamshedpur at a height of 3000 sq.ft. above the sea level. It is famous for herd of wild elephants, deers and bears. The adventure lovers and trekkers would love the trek to Dalma Summit as the sanctuary is covered with thick forests.

Before starting for the trek, one can visit the Shiva temple outside the Sanctuary but be ready for a good climb as the temple is situated at the hill top from where you can get a good view of the whole city.

Entry Fee for Adult is INR 2 whereas for Jeeps and Small Cars its INR 80.

This is another major tourist attraction in Jamshedpur, famous for its breathtaking beauty and is just 21 kms from Dalma Sanctuary. Surrounded by green mountains and hills, this is another paradise on earth and you would love to spend hours here.

You can come back to the hotel in the evening and take the morning Steel Express at 6.15 a.m. or Howrah Express at 9.35 a.m. from Tatanagar Station

The state is understood for its waterfalls, hills and holy places;  Baidyanath Dham, Parasnath a nd Rajrappa ar major nonsecular sites, the National Parks and therefore the Zoological Gardens placed within the state of Jharkhand gift a panorama of this selection. The staple food of Jharkhand ar rice, dal, vegetable, and tubers, dishes embody  Chirka roti, Malpua, Pittha, Dhuska, Arsa roti, Dudhauri, Litti Chokha and Panipuri  (Gupchup). DAY 02: Ranchi –Deoghar

After breakfast check out from the hotel now ready drive to Deoghar (250km, 07 hours journey).check in at the hotel. Deoghar is a holy city of Jharkhand. It is situated in the river. It is famous for i22 temples. and it is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. there are Buddhist ruins also. The Muslim invader Bakhtīyār Khaljī made Deoghar. It is his capital in 1201 after the conquest of Bihar. Dinner & overnight stay hotel.

Day 03: Deogarh – Local Sightseeing- Deogarh

After breakfast visit in Deogarh Local Sightseeing. Baidhya Dham, Nandan Pahari, Naulakha Temple.Baidyanath temple is also known as Baba Baidyanath Dham and Baidyanath Dham. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. the most sacred abodes of Shiva. It’s located in Deoghar.Nandan Pahar is a small hill. It is nearby Deoghar and it is known for a famous Nandi Temple. There is a huge entertainment park for children. And there is a ghost house, a boot house, a mirror house, and a restaurant, etc.Naulakha Temple is 146 ft high and it is very similar to the temple of Ramakrishna in Belur. Naulakha Temple dedicated to Radha-Krishna and since its construction cost Rs. 9 lakh. it is also known as Naulakha temple. Dinner & overnight stay hotel.

Day 04: Deogarh-Parasnat

After breakfast check out from the hotel ready to drive to Parasnath(87km,3 hours journey)Check into the hotel take some rest after freshening up visit half day sightseeing. Parasnath is a mountain peak in the. It is located in the eastern end of the Chota Nagpur in the Giridih.On the mountaintop, there is the Shikharji Jain temple, an important tirtha or Jain pilgrimage site, etc. Parasnath Hill, User Falls (Water Fall).Parasnath Hill Parasnath hill, the highest mountain in thestate ofJharkhand.It’s the highest peak is 1350 meters. Usri Falls is a waterfalls. It’s also known as isitor and excursion spot. It is a popular tourist and picnic spot. Ushree means a "beautiful source. Day 05: -Parasnath Local sightseeing

After breakfast proceed to localsightseeing. Jain Museum, Khandoli Lake, Sammed Shikharji, Parasnath Temple.Jain Museum is history of Jain history.you will see there such as arts painting. Khandoli Lake is 10 km North-East of Giridih town. This is a beautiful Dam. Sammed Shikharji is highest hill of Parasnath hill and also visit so many Temples in Parasnath. Return back hotel dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: -Parasnath-Jamshedpur

After breakfast check out from hotel proceed to Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur is a large city of Jharkhand. Which is made by Subarnarekha and Kharkai. It’s known for huge, tree-lined Jubilee Park. there is the Tata Steel Zoological Park. it has resident species including tigers and leopards. check in hotel take some rest . after freshen up you will visit half day sightseeing. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, Tata Steel Zoological Park. Return back hotel dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is 10 km from the Jamshedpur. It was inaugurated by Sanjay Gandhi in 1975. It is a notable wildlife sanctuary and contains significant population of Indian Elephants.Tata Steel Zoological Park is situated in the corner most area of Jubilee Park. This zoo is known for its Safari Park.

Day 07: -Jamshedpur local sightseeing

After breakfast priceed to visit sightseeing. Jubilee Park, Hudco Lake, Jayanti Sarovar. Return back hotel dinner & overnight stay at hotel.Jubilee Park is an urban park located in the city of Jamshedpur In Jharkhand. It is a popular of outdoor picnic spot. Hudco Lake is situated in Jamshedpur. There are top activities to do. There is Telco Colony, a beautiful park and picnic spot with an artificial waterfall and lake.Jayanti Sarovar is agorgeous lake in Jamshedpur It’s mostly famous for recreation spot, this is a best in winter time for visit there.

DAY 08: Jamshedpur- Netarhat

After breakfast, you will drive to the hill station of Netarhat. (Netarhat-developed by the British, who had a knack of settling in the most beautiful places in the country, this is a scenic getaway. DAY 09: Netarhat-local sightseeing

I have decided to reach Deoghar 10th Feb morning and will leave on 12th afternoon. So accordingly can anyone give me tour plan based on 3 days 2 night trip

The major places to visit in Deoghar are Baba Baidyanathji Mandir, Basukinath Mandir, Trikuata Parvata, Naulakha Mandir and Sitla Mandir. The first day can be devoted for Pooja and darshan of Baba Baidyanathji.

If not visited Tarapith then you can club it with your trip.On day 1 start with Puja at baba baidhyanath Dham.After breakfast proceed towards basukinath.After Basukinath visit trikut parwat.Then return to deoghar for lunch.After lunch you can visit other attractions like Naulakha mandir,satsang bhawan.Evening you can visit baba mandir for shringar puja.

Next day trip to tarapith.You can also visit Naulakha temple,satsang bhawan on day 3 before train.

How to go tarapith from deoghar?? At night is there any train from deoghar to tarapith?

Nearest main station to Tarapith is Rampur Hat and there is only one direct train in evening around 4 pm from Jasidih and take around 4 hr,only other direct train in Jhajha Dbr ex which depart after 10 pm and take more than 7 hr and runs only 1 day a week.
