Arupadai Veedu Tour (6 Nights / 7 Days)

Day 01: on arrival at chennai.

On Arrival at Chennai Airport, transfer to Stay Hotel. Later we will proceed to see the Local sight seeing at Chennai includes Kabaliswarar Temple, Marina Beach, Fort St.George etc. Stay at Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai – Thiruthani – Kancheepuram – Kumbakonam

After breakfast drive to Thiruthani and visit Thiruthani Murugan temple.(This is one of the Arupadai Veedu Murugan temple) later drive to Kumbakonam via Kancheepuram (This one of the five elements represents EARTH). Overnight halt at Kumbakonam.

Day 03: Kumbakonam – Tanjore – Trichy

Approx. 8 am we drive to visit Swamimalai Murugan Temple (This is one of Aurupadai Murugan Temple), Later drive to Trichy via Thanjauvr. Overnight halt Trichy.

Day 04: Trichy – Sri Rangam – Palani – Madurai

Day 05: Excursion visit to Thiruchendur from Madurai

Siruvapuri Muuruagn temple Situated on the Chennai-Kolkata highway, Currently known as Chinnambedu, the location is close to Ponneri. It was originally known as Siruvar Por Pori (Pori meaning to wage war, and Siruvar meaning children). This temple is dedicated to Murugan, also known as Siruvapuri Murugan Temple or Sri Balasubramanyar.This temple is a 500-year old was built by villagers which is located near Chennai in Thiruvallur, The temple’s original name in government records was Chinnambedu.

Among the Hindu gods, Murugan is one of the most adored and well-known. Most people in South India worship him as the God of War.

Sthala Puranam Sthala Purana of Siruvapuri Sri Balasubrahmanyam temple, Lava and Kusa, sons of Lord Rama stayed here. The temple being 500 year old is dedicated to son of Lord Shiva and His wife Goddess Parvathi, Lord Murugan or Kartikeya

The main deity of this temple is Sri Balasubramaniyar. The temple also houses Thiru Annamalaiyar and Thiru Unnamalai amman. Utsava Moorthy of Lord Muruga is Valli manalar in wedding posture along with Valli & Lord Muruga.

The temple has one special feature. Murugan’s Vaahan, or vehicle, is a green stone Maragatha Mayil, or peacock. Maragatha Vinayaka, Aadi Murugar, Venkatrayar, Naagar, Muniswaraar, and Bairavar are among the other deities housed in the temple.

The temple also has a statue of the well-known poet and saint from Tamilya, Arunagirinathar, facing the inner chamber. This saint has praised Murugan by singing the Thiruppughazh songs and visiting the temple multiple times.

Siruvapuri Muurgan Temple Festivals: celebrations of festivals like Thai Poosam, Panguni Uthiram, Aadi Guru Pooja, Soora Samharam, Karthikai Deepam, and Kanda Shashti are held at the temple.

Hariharasubramanian Krishnamoorthy 13 months ago Last week between May 22, 2023 to May 26, 2023 we had opted for a Kashmir tour with Murugan Travels. The experience was horrible. No proper communication, they are keen only in following up and getting the payment. There are key priority things that has to be intimated properly however their priority was to do a web check-in and send the boarding pass. Question is did they do that correctly? Obviously no. They chose all the free seats via online check-in which is the middle seat making the travel irritating. We could done a counter check-in and got a comfortable seating. Main reason for going through a tour operator is for clear communication. In our case it's zero communication. Upon reaching Srinagar Airport we found that our mobile numbers don't work there and we got stranded searching for the guide. No placard was available. No information on who are the group of travelers. Worst vehicle arranged for pickup. Coming to the driver - terrific and horrible driving. He did not have 1% care of passengers. All our lives were at 100% risk upon boarding the vehicle. Hotel information given in itinerary was not the same as we stayed. Day 1 was a hotel where no information on timing was shared. Day 2 all of sudden we were asked to checkout stating this room is temporary and our luggage was lying in a different hotel passage which did not even have the basic facility of lift. To all who are planning for a vacation travel, don't ever opt for Murugan Travels. Your life will be at a stake or your peace is lost because of zero worth for the money spent. Had there been a negative * rating I would have gone to maximum allowable negative limit. Restricting to 1* rating for posting this review.
