Renew your traditional family visit to Santa this year.

Busy he may be, but Santa’s taking the time again this year to bring sacks of presents to all good children. He will welcome visitors while stationed at  THE OLD CHURCH, BRUFF, COUNTY LIMERICK. His Igloo and Elves’ Workshop will be located at Bruff for you to enjoy. Mrs Claus and various cheeky elves will keep you entertained there with story-telling.

There will be great excitement from Sunday 1st December, when he is in residence; this is where Santa Claus will sleep for the remainder of the weekend nights before his epic travels around the world on Christmas Eve. Come and see his arctic animals, post your letter, chat with him; you’ll get to see Santa’s Bedroom!! We’ll have mulled wine for adults. And you might complete the visit to Santa’s Wonderland with a delicious hot chocolate.

For generations children have been visiting Santa at the Crescent Shopping Centre Limerick.

A sweet visit with a little chat, a gift from Santa and some great high-quality photos from a professional photographer as an optional extra on the day! Make your booking online and enjoy a visit amidst your shopping trip this Christmas!

To book tickets:

Step 1:  Select your event time slot first (if time slots are greyed out this event time is sold out and this event time is no longer available – one time slot per family is permitted)

Step 2:   Scroll to bottom of time slots and buy your Tickets and add them to your cart. If your preferred time slot is not available do not add tickets to your cart find an alternative date as this event is sold out.  

Child Tickets (10 Euro each) and Adult Tickets are Free. Your booking is not complete until child tickets have been added for payment and a time Slot has been selected.

Santa and his elves have been working very hard to make sure you can visit us this year in the safest way possible! 

At Santa’s magical cabin, instead of the group experience your family will follow one of Santa’s elf guides direct to Santa’s cabin for a special private (and covid safe) visit with Santa.

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO THE CASTLE OAKS

Santa and his elves are all set to make their magical return to the Castle Oaks House Hotel as he prepares for his journey around the world.

It’s been a busy year for Santa and his elves as he prepares for his big journey around the world building all the toys for the boys and girls this Christmas.

So Santa has decided to check himself into the Castle Oaks House Hotel for a little break before the big night. Every weekend before Christmas Santa will be at the Castle Oaks and is so excited to meet all the boys and girls before he packs up his sleigh.

Come along and meet Santa in his magical Grotto at the Castle Oaks this Christmas from 12.00pm to 7.00pm on following dates;

  • Saturday 2nd December 
  • Sunday 3rd December
  • Saturday 9th December
  • Sunday 10th December
  • Saturday 16th December
  • Sunday 17th December
  • Monday 18th December
  • Tuesday 19th December

Pricing is just €22 per child* and €6 per adult*, includes Santa, Kids Hot Chocolate, and Child’s Gift.

Pre-booking and pre-payment is essential.

SANTA is coming to Limerick this weekend and will be meeting children and parents in three of the biggest shopping locations.

The big man himself will arrive at the Parkway Shopping Centre at 7pm on Friday night, and will be at the Crescent Shopping Centre at 1pm on Sunday and at the Castletroy Shopping Centre also on Sunday at 3pm.

Celebrations at the Crescent start on this Friday night when the spectacular Christmas tree lighting ceremony takes place at 7pm.

Emma O’Driscoll along with the Limerick Gospel Choir will entertain. And on Sunday Santa will give his reindeers a rest and will arrive in a horse drawn magic sleigh at 1pm.

He will be welcomed at the Garryowen mall entrance with lots of family entertainment including members of the Limerick Panto Society dressed up in colourful costumes and giving out goodies to the kids.

“We’re delighted to welcome Emma to light up our Christmas tree and of course Santa, who will be available for visits to his grotto, adjacent to the Crescent créche, every day from his arrival until Christmas eve,” said Crescent store manager John Davitt.

Santa will arrive in Parkway Shopping Centre at 7pm on Friday with Mrs Claus and the elves. Childrens’ entertainment will start at 6pm. Masha and the Bear, Alvin and the Chipmonks, Darth Vader and Storm Troopers,face painters and balloon modellers will all be there to entertain. Santa’s grotto will be open on Friday evening until 9pm and from 2-6pm at the weekend.

As all you parents know, Santa always takes time out of his busy schedule before Christmas to visit Ireland. Visit santa’s enchanted forest experience at luggwoods.

Tickets on sale 4th September 2021

Enter Santa’s enchanted forest at Luggwoods , Saggart and be transported on the Luggwoods Express, a tractor drawn carriage, through the mystical forest to the Big Red Farmyard Barn for your visit with Santa. There will be characters to meet, games and activities to enjoy for a memorable family Santa experience. Selected dates in November and December.

The award winning Santa Experience takes place at Dunnes Stores in the Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre, Tallaght on selected dates from November to December. Children will be transported to the North Pole where they can visit:

  • The Elves Post Office
  • Santa’s Stable
  • The Sleigh Station
  • Santa’s House

The Santa Experience is a tour through the North Pole where children will learn how Santa and the elves prepare for Christmas and will interact with elves, reindeer, polar bears and may even get to ride in Santa’s Sleigh on their way to meet the big man himself in his authentic log cabin!

Children will be amazed by what Santa knows about them, thanks to the Santa Needs to Know forms, filled in at the time of booking.

Tickets can be booked online in advance , to ensure you get your preferred time and date. Each ticket includes meeting and interacting with Elves and Santa, travelling through 4 fun filled festive areas, and a beautiful gift to treasure.

A professional photographer will be on hand to capture all magical moments and you can order 8 x 10 framed prints immediately afterwards if you wish.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become one of Santa’s trusty elves? Why not find out at The Elves in Training   Santa Experience at Croke Park from end November onwards.

Each child gets to take part in Elf Training with Santa and his helpers in the specially designed elf camp at the GAA HQ. Every ‘elf’ will become a member of the North Pole Football, Hurling & Camogie Club, managed by Santa!

Each member of his elite Elf Squad visits the mesmerising snow tunnel, the North Pole team changing rooms. While you’re there make sure you listen for banter in the shower room to see who’s made it to the naughty or nice list! You might also need to hold your nose as you leave the dressing room, as the trainee Elves’ don’t usually listen to Mrs Claus when she tells them to pick up their dirty gear!

One of the highlights of the magical trail is a visit to Santa’s Bainisteoir’s office, the heart of all the action, where Santa reviews tactics and selects his dream team for the big journey on Christmas Eve.

After this meet and greet with Santa, where every child will receive a gift and get their professional photo taken, your family can run out pitch-side, like their GAA heroes, and take their own Croke Park ‘Elfies’, making even more magical memories.

You will then get complimentary admission to the GAA Museum, where you can discover two floors of interactive exhibits. Marvel at the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy cups and test your hurling and football skills in the museum’s Interactive Games Zone!

This year, board the train and keep an eye out for Santa’s reindeer as you travel through the festive forest. You will then make your way to Fossett’s Big Top to see Santa, Mrs Claus and their elves as they perform a special show!

Embark on an enchanted journey to see Santa this Christmas at the Magical Woodland Christmas Experience at Castlecomer Discovery Park. Start your adventure when you journey to the North Pole on a magical train ride through a forest winter wonderland of twinkling lights.

Once you reach the Christmas Village, you’ll have time to explore, make a Christmas tree decoration in the arts and crafts area, or sit back and wrap your mittens around a steaming mug of hot chocolate from the Canopy Café. Children can also play in the elf and fairy village.

It follows the completion of the section of the Scheme from the Ballinacurra Road junction to the Roxboro Roundabout, after the section from Roxboro to the Kilmallock Roundabout was finished in 2023. The works have included the installation of cycle lane separators along the route, junction tightening, footpath widening, accessibility improvements, raised tables and new pedestrian crossing points at the Roxboro Roundabout to improve safety. Safe Routes To School infrastructure has also been provided at Our Lady of Lourdes NS, the Midwest School for the Deaf and Our Lady Queen of Peace NS, Janesboro under the Scheme, along with minor improvements outside Le Cheile NS and Gaelscoil Sheoirse Clancy.
