Our Award winning Panoramic Full Islan​d Tour is a must do if you're in port for the day or visiting us for a few days. All our island tours include the following must see points of interest: National Museum, Berkeley Memorial, Independence Square, various churches on the island,The Birds Nest, Bloody Point, Carving Of De Rocks, Wingfield Plantation and the start of our rainforest. We stop at the Botanical Gardens at Romney Manor, home of Caribelle Batik, and from there we continue to Brimstone Hill Fortress, the only UNESCO world heritage site in the Caribbean. Also, stopping at the Black Rocks with some amazing rock formations. Panoramic Half Island Tour

Take in the highlights of St Kitts on a 3-hour sightseeing tour from Basseterre or the cruise ship port. Snap photos of top sights such as Independence Square, the War Memorial, Wingfield Estate, and an 18th-century sugar plantation. Walk through the botanical gardens at Romney Manor, and soak in ocean views from Timothy Hill.

Walking Tour of Basseterre

Stroll through the city of Basseterre, where we visit the site of the first company, in addition to the old village of Irish Town. Learn the rich history about our Pall Mall Square (present day Independence Square) where slaves were once sold upon arrival to the island, and goods were exchanged or bartered. We will also visit the National Museum, the Berkeley Memorial Clock, Piccadilly Circus, the Court House, the Anglican and the Catholic Church. Finally, we take our time to enjoy the local shops and a local drink.

Tour duration: 2 hours

Half Day Island Tour with Lunch

Growing by popular demand, enjoy our NEW Local Lunch and Half Day Island Tour. Giving you an exceptional short historical excursion tour of our beautiful island while enjoying a local Kittitian lunch and drink at one of our popular beach restaurant/bars towards the end of your trip before heading back to your meeting point. Around the City of Historic Tour

This hour and a half tour highlights our historical city of Basseterre. We tour the heart of our 17th century fort city, with many of the buildings still standing to this day. We visit the Berkeley Memorial Clock, Piccadilly Circus, Independence Square and the Anglican and Catholic churches. We then travel over to the War Memorial, honouring those who lost their lives. Taking a slow drive pass Fort Thomas to Palm Court Gardens, where we tour the stunning gardens and take in the breathtaking views of the Southern Peninsula.

Lastly, we will travel to Timothy Hill, where the we take in the spectacular view of where the Atlantic Ocean is on your left and the Caribbean Sea is on your right- a sight not to be missed.

Tour duration: 1.5 to 2 hours.

Nevis Island Tour

Don’t let your visit to St.Kitts end without visiting our sister island Nevis, one of the Caribbean's most laid-back and unspoiled islands - "Queen of the Caribees". We will make all arrangements for pick-up to and from: whether you are arriving by cruise ship or staying at one of our hotels. You will embark upon a 45-minute ferry ride across the sparkling waters of St. Kitts Southeast Peninsula. As we dock at Charlestown, our friendly tour guide will begin showing you the scenic, historic and cultural highlights of this most charming and captivating island.

As the St Kitts tour and island safari continues, you will pass a key St Kitts heritage site the St Thomas' Anglican Church, the first Anglican Church that was built in the Eastern Caribbean, before visiting the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park - A UNESCO World Heritage site. The Fort George Citadel at Brimstone Hill is one of the first examples of polygonal construction allowing defence from every possible side, and is the best example of preserved fortresses in the region. Stops at the scenic Gibbons Hill lookout to catch a glimpse of the wave fury created where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea and at Black Rocks, the site where volcanic rocks from the last eruption of Mt. Liamuiga are deposited are also included on the tour. Complimentary refreshments are served at the Black Rocks stop on the tour. The St Kitts Sunshine 360 Tour continues with a drive along the scenic Atlantic coast of the island, before journeying on through Frigate Bay to the lookout spot at Timothy Hill. Great day out with captain sunshine tours

Please let me tell you about Smilling Kenny AKA Captain Sunshine.

I booked a tour with Kenny 6 months before our cruise and started with a group of 6 which through our cruisecritic thread grew to 31 before we sailed and actually was 33 on the day of the tour. Kenny not only accomodated all us he embraced to tour. He is a marvellous, knowledgable guide and such a happy person.

Our tour began with a 9.15 departure on a 33 seater air conditioned coach and headed out of Basseterre taking in all the sites as we left with a full commentary from Kenny. Our first stop was Romney Manor home of the Caribelle Batik, the gardens were stunning and the Batik most interesting. We stayed here for about 45 minutes before moving onto Brimstone fort. Our bus was to large to access the road upto the fort but this was not a problem as the ever thinking 'Captain' had laid on 2 smaller busses to ferry us all upto the fort grounds and back again. We had about 1 hour here before heading off to the beach (our choice was cockleshell bay) for 2 hours of swimming sunbathing and a few beers. We then re-boarded the coach and were driven swiftly back to Port Zante for about 3.45.

Fee included entrance into Brimstone ($8 pp), local beers (as many as you wanted), water, ting (local juice) and on our return trip Kenny broke out a few bottles of vaninla rum (the girls loved it) and white rum as well.

I would highly reccommend Captain Sunshine to anyone who likes a friendly, knowleable and value for money tour with genuine nice bloke.

We paid $40 per person but as I said this included entrance of $8 into brimstone and all drinks. It was well worth the $'s for a 6 hour tour. If you google captain sunshine St kitts you will get to his site. He will custom any tour you want to do to suit your needs.

We did not do a standard tour as there were 33 of of us. We did a custom made tour as I described in the first post. Kenny is most accomodateing and will probably do whatever you want.

Definitely Something you must do!

This company provides the excursions for cruise lines that is the reason the one I did does not show on the ones offered.'Brimstone Hill and Fairview Great House' was the one I did.Winston was the driver and the guide. What a great guide, he drives very good and safe, provided at all times, a lot of interesting information while driving, pointing us to different places and giving us good facts about the Island.Fairview house nice and interesting, however Brimstone Hill is amazing, what a view of the island, nice breeze, good history. Definitely a place to visit.

Exceptional Experience

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The magnificent historic plantation house is a perfect setting for learning about the food, history and culture of St Kitts. The guides (driver and chef) are extremely knowledgeable and personable. A nice variety of local dishes that could be replicated at home were prepared for our dining enjoyment. Rum tasting was available and a tour of the house & gardens was a nice addition. There is also a pool on the property that can be enjoyed by guests. Extremely professional staff provided an exceptional experience and meal.

Wonderful Tour

We had a rocky start but the Kantours team worked together and all was fabulous. We enjoyed our tour guide and all the stops. It was wonderful to be in between the tour buses on our private tour. Our first stop at Fairview Great House was extra exciting because a wedding was going on there! It was fun to see an island wedding. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the island. We had a great time on St. Kitts.
