The wrestling world stars live in Germany!

Wrestling is back: On 25 October 2023, the WWE returns to the Olympic Hall. The superstars of the scene, from Rhea Ripley to Seth "Freakin" Rollins, from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to Shinsuke Nakamura, will be in the ring. As with previous wrestling nights at the same venue, WWE Live guarantees an action-packed event with a big show and plenty of spectacle.

For six decades, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has been thrilling an audience of millions worldwide. Just how large the fan community is in this country was shown time and again at the atmospheric evenings in the Olympic Hall. Now the WWE is inviting several champions to another show spectacle. Among others, the audience can look forward to Australian Rhea Ripley, who only won the SmackDown Women's Championships in April 2023 at WrestleMania 39 by defeating Charlotte Flair. Seth "Freakin" Rollins, whose greatest successes include winning the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship twice, as well as the Grand Slam twice, will also be in the ring.

Also in the ring are the two Canadians Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, the dreaded duo that has already secured the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship as one of the world's best duos. Or top Japanese star Shinsuke Nakamura, who triumphed at the WWE Intercontinental Championship in 2019 and 2022. Other top wrestlers to watch on 25 October 2023 include: Cody Rhodes, Raquel Rodriguez, The New Day and Liv Morgan.

Zur Info: Die Termine unter der Woche laufen unter dem „WWE Live“-Banner, die Veranstaltung am Samstag in Berlin nennt WWE selbst „Saturday Night’s Main Event“. Hier ist inhaltlich kein anderes Programm als an den ersten drei Tagen zu erwarten.

Generell heißen bei WWE die nicht im Fernsehen ausgestrahlten Shows seit Frühjahr 2022 samstags „Saturday Night’s Main Event“, sonntags „Sunday Stunner“ und „SuperShow“ wenn Stars aus beiden Brands eingesetzt werden. 

Für WWE ist die kommende Oktober-Tour der erste Deutschland-Besuch seit dann ziemlich genau einem Jahr. Zuletzt gab es mit dem Live-Event in Stuttgart am 31. Oktober 2022 und am darauffolgenden Abend in Dortmund zwei Shows in unseren Gefilden. 

Im Herbst 2022 kamen unter anderem Imperium, Liv Morgan, Jimmy und Jey Uso, Braun Strowman oder auch Drew McIntyre nach Deutschland. 

Unter anderem wegen der COVID-Jahre besucht WWE München, Köln, Hamburg und Berlin nach langer Pause endlich wieder:

In der Olympiahalle gastierte WWE zuletzt im Mai 2018, in Köln im November 2018, in Hamburg im Mai 2019 und in Berlin ebenfalls im Mai 2019.

On Monday, the company announced dates for their 2023 WWE Germany Tour.

Those are as follows:

WWE returning to Germany for four live events in fall of 2023

WWE is returning to Germany later this year with four events confirmed for the fall of 2023.

WWE will return to the country for shows in late October:

*Wednesday, October 25 at Olympiahalle in Munich

*Thursday, October 26 at Lanxess Arena in Cologne

*Friday, October 27 at Barclays Arena in Hamburg

*Saturday, October 28 at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin

WWE’s last set of shows in Germany occurred in October 2022 with events in Stuttgart and Dortmund. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported attendance figures of 3,725 and 4,859 respectively.

The promotion is advertising Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Gunther, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth Rollins for the shows.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at www.livenation.de .

WWE is returning to Germany.

WWE announced that they are coming back to Germany with a four-day tour in October 2023. The trip will kick off in Munich on October 25 and conclude in Berlin on October 28. The tour will also include stops in Cologne on October 26 and in Hamburg on October 27.

The Superstars of WWE will be traveling to Germany later this year for the promotion’s latest European tour.

On Twitter, WWE announced tour dates for shows this October in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.

Before this tour, WWE will be heading to Europe later this month for the June 30, episode of SmackDown in London, England.

The next night, WWE will host Money in the Bank in London, the first time the show has taken place in the UK.

Deutschland wird erstmals Schauplatz einer WWE-Großveranstaltung. Auch Stuttgart steht auf dem Tourprogramm der Wrestlingstars.

Wrestling, eine Sportart, die in Deutschland oft belächelt wird, rückt in den Fokus. Die größte Wrestling-Liga der Welt, die WWE, ist auf Europa-Tour und macht auch in Deutschland Halt. Doch dieses Jahr ist etwas anders: Es handelt sich nicht um eine gewöhnliche Houseshow, sondern um eine Großveranstaltung, die auch im Fernsehen übertragen wird. Zum ersten Mal überhaupt. SÜDWEST24 hat die Liste aller Städte auf der Deutschland-Tour der Wrestlingstars.
