FC Barcelona presents full details of the future Spotify Camp Nou to the Architects' Association of Catalonia

FC Barcelona presents full details of the future Spotify Camp Nou to the Architects' Association of Catalonia

FC Barcelona has presented the Spotify Camp Nou redevelopment project and the state of progress of the works at an event organised on Monday 4 March at the facilities of the Architects' Association of Catalonia (COAC). Barça vice-president Elena Fort, together with the head of the technical office of Espai Barça, Lluís Moya, and members of the project team, presented all the details of the future stadium to the collegiate architects, who were able to preview the latest renderings of the new facility.

The meeting was also the starting point of a series of visits that the Club has organised in collaboration with the COAC to the Spotify Camp Nou site. This is part of Barça's goal of spreading the word about the project and making it known, in this case among registered architects, the the work that is being done by FC Barcelona in the district of Courts is set to become an architectural benchmark for the city and for the world.

The event began with an introduction by the dean of the COAC, Guim Costa i Calsamiglia, who welcomed all attendees by highlighting the architectural importance of the stadium and the good decision to maintaining the original facade and open the space to the city. Elena Fort then stressed the passion that FC Barcelona has for its Espai Barça, the future of the club and the efforts by club and city to ensure they have the best stadium in the world

Lluís Moya and members of the project team then explained where the work is at right now and discussed the technical and architectural aspects. Sustainability is another of the cornerstones of the project, and some of the plans in this regard were presented, such as for example the reuse of the concrete and steel from the old stadium for the construction of the new facility.

Espai Barça will be the largest and most innovative sports and entertainment space in the centre of a major European city. This is precisely one of the most characteristic features of the project and one of the challenges faced by the construction process of each of the facilities that will be part of the complex. As Moya says, it features 220,000 m2 of built-up area, 75,000 m2 of footprint and rises 40 metres above ground level. The mobility of almost 105,000 spectators also needs to be factored in, and a total of 20,000 visitors a day will be visiting the second most important museum in the country.

Rapid construction

Innovation lies at the heart of the project, starting with the construction process of the Spotify Camp Nou, which is happening at a rapid pace to ensure that the redevelopment in completed as quickly as possible, thus minimising the inconvenience caused to the neighbourhood of Les Corts and reduving as much as possible the time spent at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, with the return to the stadium planned for the end of this year of 2024.

Moya also showed the collegiate architects the layout of the different floors of the future Stadium, as well as details of the different sections, showing how the iconic facade of 1957 designed by the architects Francesc Mitjans, José Soteras and Lorenzo García Barbón is being maintained, with the entire structure of the new third tier being developed around it.

Historic venue

The event ended with words from Ignacio López, deputy director of the ETSAB, who reviewed the history and evolution of the stadium, starting from the initial project and the entire design conception process carried out by the selected architects.

Barcelona’s famous old stadium is now officially known as the Spotify Camp Nou as the club’s new agreement with the music streaming platform came into effect.

The deal was announced back in March and means Spotify will feature on club shirts from the start of the 2022-23 campaign and for the next four seasons.

Barcelona also agreed to rebrand the Camp Nou with the total agreement thought to be worth around €280 million.

FBL-ESP-BARCELONA-STADIUM-SPOTIFY

Barcelona unveiled the rebrand on Friday and have used three players from the men’s team and three from the women’s side to be the face of the Spotify Camp Nou.

Photos of Pedri, Mapi Leon, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all feature along with Alexia Putellas, Ansu Fati and Aitana Bonmatí. All of the players are obviously all in the new home kit for 2022-23 which also bears the Spotify logo.

Barcelona’s first game at the Spotify Camp Nou looks set to be the Joan Gamper Trophy on August 6. Roma have pulled out of the game but it’s been rumored AC Milan could take their place.

Xavi’s side will then play their first La Liga game of the new season on Saturday, 12 August against Rayo Vallecano.

Spotify buys naming rights on FC Barcelona’s massive stadium

Camp nou will be rebranded as spotify camp nou.

Spotify’s name will be featured on FC Barcelona’s jerseys for the next four seasons.

Camp Nou, one of the most iconic soccer stadiums in the world, is being rebranded as Spotify Camp Nou as part of a sponsorship agreement with Spanish soccer club FC Barcelona that gives Spotify naming rights to the stadium . Spotify’s name will also appear on the jerseys of both the men’s and women’s teams for the next four seasons starting in the 2022/23 season.

The deal still has to get ratified by FC Barcelona’s Extraordinary Delegate Members Assembly in a vote that will take place on April 3rd. It likely won’t have much trouble passing, however, as FC Barcelona is in a huge amount of debt and sought to sell a stake in its media production division last year.

The deal is reportedly worth $310 million . It could have been worth more, Spanish publication SPORT reported , if the club had a higher percentage of “registered” fans — fans who gave the club access to names, emails, and other personal information. Only around 1 percent of the club's 350 million followers are registered, according to the report.

Spotify wants to bring “the worlds of music and football together”

Spotify will use its sponsorship as an opportunity to “amplify the work of artists” in a way that brings “the worlds of music and football together, giving a global stage to players and artists” at Spotify Camp Nou, Alex Norström, Spotify’s chief freemium business officer, said in a statement .

“Spotify is working with Barça to leverage our access to in-stadium elements to amplify artists and enable discovery,” Norström said. “For example, using the dynamic digital displays to showcase and geo-target relevant artists to Barça’s global TV audience. While viewers in Europe may see a message about one artist, TV viewers in India could be served a different and locally relevant message.” That could mean Spotify will be investing in those digital stadium ads that change based on your location and the channel you’re watching the game on.

But that’s about the only specifics Norström reveals about the partnership, and he said Spotify is considering “other exciting pieces” the company will share more about later this year.

Spotify Camp Nou unveils its astonishing Çanakkale engineering-inspired ceiling

camp nou spotify tour

The Camp Nou, famous for its protective grandstand visor that shielded spectators from the sun and rain, will see a radical transformation with the Spotify Camp Nou. The new infrastructure, scheduled to fully open in August 2026, will be the first to have all its seats under one roof.

“The roof is the most complex part of the project,” admits Haldun Firat Köktürk, general manager of Limak Construction. The complexity of the task is not taken lightly and to tackle it, the Turkish company draws on the experience gained during the construction of the Çanakkale suspension bridge, the longest in the world.

Spotify Camp Nou: engineering inspired by Çanakkale

Resit Yildiz, Limak’s project manager and a key player in the construction of the Çanakkale Bridge, has moved to Barcelona to oversee the Spotify Camp Nou project. The Çanakkale Bridge, opened in March 2022, became a landmark by linking the lands of the Dardanelles Strait over the Sea of Marmara.

The impressive bridge required precise engineering with 18,000 wires braided into a beehive shape to stabilize and support the roadway. This technique will serve as the inspiration for the Big Lift tensioned roof on Barcelona’s new stadium.

Challenges and dimensions

The Spotify Camp Nou will have a 48,000 square meter roof, integrating screens that will function as video scoreboards. Although the project presents significant challenges, Limak is confident in its experience and planning.

The total length of the wires used in the stadium roof is 23 kilometers, compared to the 1,300 kilometers used in the Çanakkale bridge. The total weight of the structural steel and cables for the roof amounts to 7,500 tons, compared to 125,000 tons for the bridge.

Limak Construction demonstrates meticulous planning by pre-booking essential materials for the project, including wires from Italy, Germany and France. “We have had the wires and steel reserved for a long time,” Köktürk reveals.

The cable structure is expected to be hoisted in November 2024, allowing Barcelona to continue playing at home while the roof is completed during the summer of 2025.

The addition of this roof marks a milestone in the evolution of Camp Nou and Limak Construction is preparing to transform the stadium, applying knowledge gained from previous projects and providing a new spectator experience.

The new roof will not only protect from the sun and rain, but will also represent a symbol of innovation and modernity in the heart of Catalan soccer.

How to Visit Camp Nou: Barcelona Stadium Visit Info 2024

a view of the pitch at camp nou barcelona

Wanna know how to visit Camp Nou? Camp Nou Stadium tours can take this already historic stadium to a new level.

Home to legendary FC Barcelona, aside from taking the field yourself (you actually can!) the Nou Camp tour is the best way to experience world class football.

In fact, this Barcelona stadium tour is the second biggest tourist attraction in Catalonia behind the epic Sagrada Familia.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to visit Nou Camp in one handy guide.

Can You Visit Camp Nou?

ATTENTION (01/29/24): On May 29th 2023 Camp Nou started an aggressive renovation project. During the renovation it won’t be possible to book traditional Camp Nou tours. There is only one, which I’ll get to below.

Yes, you can visit Camp Nou, the iconic home stadium of FC Barcelona.

There are several ways to visit Barcelona football stadium:

  • Camp Nou Immersive Tour : This is the only way to visit Camp Nou in 2024 . It includes access to the museum, an audio guide, some looks into the construction, and the Spotify Camp Nou Live immersive room.
  • Match Days : Attending a live football match at Camp Nou is an incredible experience, but in 2024 you won’t be able to! They’re currently playing at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys until November 2024.
  • Guided Tours : Opt for a guided tour if you want a more in-depth and informative visit. These will return in November 2024!
  • VIP Experience : For a premium visit, consider VIP packages that offer exclusive access, premium seating, and hospitality services.

How to Visit Camp Nou: Visiting Barcelona Football Stadium

Again, from June 7th 2023 the only tickets you can get to visit Camp Nou are for the Immersive Tour .

This includes the museum visit with an English audio guide + access to the audiovisual space Spotify Camp Nou Live.

You’ll find many online ticket resellers, but we recommend relying on our collaborator Tiqets, which help us to keep this blog (which we’ve dedicated 1000’s of hours to) free.

Here’s a link to book the only current Camp Nou tour left:

Every Camp Nou booking helps us get closer to doing this blog for a living, so thank you 🙏

Visit Nou Camp: The Museum

It’s here in this modern and interactive space that you appreciate just how good this club is.

You’ll start off listening to the team anthem with a translation in just about any language needed.

It’s in the museum where you can flip through touch screens with tons of info on the club’s greatest players. You’ll also get a great snapshot into the team’s history watching a video presentation of some of the club’s biggest moments on a massive screen.

⚠️  Warning ⚠️ : Barcelona’s top two attractions must now be booked in advance .

You can book fast track tickets to both individually or get them as part of a discount pass:

  • ⛪ Buy now:  Sagrada Familia Fast Track Admission (skip the lines)
  • 🏞️ Buy now:  Park Guell Fast Track Admission  (skip the lines)
  • 🎟️  Buy now: Best of Barcelona Bundle (Sagrada + Park Guell + 10% discount code for all else)

You will not be able to book these tickets on site – lock in your tickets ASAP or you could miss out.

You can visit Barcelona football stadium and take a selfie with the 22 League trophies and 4 Champions League trophies .

There’s just a ton of memorabilia and equipment spanning the club’s 100+ years of history.

Top it all off with a visit to the largest official FC Barcelona team shop.

Camp Nou Visit Prices

Adding the camp nou museum audio guide.

The audio guide to visit Nou Camp, available in English , is not included in the standard ticket and  must be added during the booking .

It costs €6.00 and I recommend it only to those who are truly interested in curiosities about Barça.

You can request earphones or bring your own headphones .

The duration of the audio guide is about 1 hour and is concentrated in the museum part, so if you are accompanied by someone who has little patience, perhaps it is not for you.

During this visit of Barcelona Football Stadium it’ll go into deep detail about:

  • Paulino Alcantara’s shoes (the first Messi of 1910)
  • The history of the first FC Barcelona stadium
  • What happened during the Franco dictatorship
  • Anecdotes about the goalscorer Kubala in the 1950s
  • The construction of Camp Nou
  • Tidbits about Johan Cruijff, Maradona, Ronaldinho, and Messi

guest scoring a goal against the robokeeper on the camp nou tour in barcelona spain

This is our favorite part of the Camp Nou visit! Here you can try to beat the world’s best keeper – which is actually a robot.

Three shots cost €6 . 00 and you can pay it straight to the guy at the start of the queue.

There’s really only one way to score here, and that’s burying it Beckham-style into the top corner 😉

In fact, there’s a video online of Messi and Neymar missing – so good luck!

Oscar naturally buried his first shot, then decided to retire.

Final score: Barcelona Hacks 1 – FC Barcelona 0.

Camp Nou Visiting Hours

FC Barça stadium tour opening hours and accessibility vary depending on scheduled matches (more info below).

Camp Nou Stadium Tour History

By the late 1940’s rising football power FC Barcelona had outgrown the Camp de Les Corts and needed a new stadium to house all the new fans generated by star striker Ladislao Kubala .

Cue the aptly named Camp Nou (‘New Camp’).

The city broke ground on this UEFA five star stadium on March 28th, 1954.

When the last brick was laid Camp Nou had a capacity of 99,354 . The ground was set for some of the greatest teams in football history to frustrate opponents – like hated rivals Real Madrid.

Long before any tours of Camp Nou the stadium hosted the Olympics, World Cup (with 120,000 spectators including added standing tickets), the Champions League Final , and even the Pope.

A €600 million Camp Nou renovation project is currently underway – but the games go on!

So, make sure to make your Barcelona football stadium visit in 2024 count 🙂

  • January 29, 2020 at 9:02 pm Emma Pomells Firstly ... your site is incredible!!! My son is a huge Messi fan so will probably want the the whole FC barça card ticket. However as I am just tagging along, and definitely not joining in with a virtual training session, can I just buy a standard open ticket and be allowed to go wherever he goes?? Thanks Emma Reply
  • November 20, 2019 at 3:22 am spankwire The Camp Nou is the biggest football stadium in Europe, and it has been the setting for countless dramatic moments and wild celebrations. If you are a fan of FC Barcelona (or football in general) you will relish the opportunity to visit the stadium when it is empty. You will be able to enjoy getting up close to the trophy gallery and European cups while learning more about the master himself, Lionel Messi. Reply
  • September 12, 2019 at 1:27 pm Lucile Hola Brandi, I will advise you to go there on your arrival date in order to have the full experience, moreover if your sons are huge fans. If necessary, the stadium has a locker where you can leave your luggage and bags. Anyway, I'm sure your sons will still be more than happy with only the museum and the match ;) On a Champion's League match day you can access to the museum and panoramic view until 3 pm. Cheers, Lucile Reply

21 Amazing Facts About Camp Nou

This is without a doubt one of the most amazing football temples in Spain and even in the world.

In this post, you’ll discover the ultimate list of facts about Camp Nou in Barcelona, the home of one of the biggest football clubs in the world and the biggest stadium in Europe .

1. What does Camp Nou mean?

Camp Nou is the home stadium of one of the most successful football clubs in Spanish history, FC Barcelona .

In English, the stadium is often referred to as “ the Nou Camp ,” which literally translates to “ The New Ground .” This was the nickname given to the stadium after FC Barcelona moved from their old stadium to the newly constructed stadium.

2. It’s the largest football stadium in Europe

Camp Nou is not just the largest football stadium in Spain, followed by the Bernabéu in Madrid , but also the largest football stadium in Europe .

At the moment, it has a total seating capacity of 99,354 . This also makes it the third-largest football stadium in the world by capacity, as only the AT&T Stadium , formerly the Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington (105,000 capacity), and the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang (assumed 114,000 capacity), are bigger.

Camp Nou Facts

3. When was Camp Nou constructed?

The construction of Camp Nou started on March 28, 1954 , and it was completed just 3 years later with its official opening on September 24, 1957 .

4. The old stadium was too small

FC Barcelona was already a powerhouse in Spanish football in the 1950s and is one of 3 clubs in Spain that have never been relegated. The other two being Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

Unfortunately, the old stadium of FC Barcelona called “ Camp de Les Corts ” didn’t have the option to expand beyond its capacity of 60,000 spectators .

Therefore, a new location was sought to construct an amazing new football temple.

5. This player encouraged its construction

In June 1950 , FC Barcelona signed one of the best upcoming players in European football, the Hungarian László Kubala . This was an amazing attraction for the fans of the club, comparable to the amazing exploits of Lionel Messi today.

The fan base expanded tremendously during this period, so the need for a new stadium became bigger and bigger, eventually resulting in a decision being made to construct Camp Nou.

Just as the heroes of Manchester United are commemorated with statues just outside of Old Trafford, so is Barcelona’s hero László Kubala just outside of Camp Nou.

6. It was a very expensive stadium

The total cost to build Camp Nou was a staggering 288 million Peseta’s, which is the equivalent of nearly 2 million dollars or 1.75 million euros .

Let’s not forget, these were the 1950s and the budget of clubs was much lower than it is today. FC Barcelona was in serious debt for multiple years following the construction.

Outside of Camp Nou

7. It was built by three Catalan architects

The main building materials for the stadium’s construction were concrete and iron. The maximum height of Camp Nou is 48 meters (157 feet) and it covers an area of about 55,000 square meters (250 by 220 meters – 820 by 721 feet)).

The two main architects Francesc Mitjans and Josep Soteras , as well as the assitant architect, Lorenzo García Barbón , were all born in Barcelona.

8. It used to have a different official name

One of the most interesting facts about Camp Nou is that the original official name of the stadium was “ Estadi del FC Barcelona .” Camp Nou has been used since its inception but merely as a popular nickname .

It wasn’t until the 2000/2001 season though that the name was officially changed from “Estadi del FC Barcelona” to “Camp Nou,” through official voting.

29,102 votes were cast by fans of the club, and 19,861 (68.25%) were in favor of changing the official name.

9. Barcelona won the first match in the new stadium

The first game in the stadium saw FC Barcelona beat a collection of Hungarian players referred to as the Warsaw XI at the end of a long day of festivities in celebration of the opening of Camp Nou .

The game ended in a 4-2 win for FC Barcelona and Eulogio Martínez , a Paraguayan player who wore the shirt of FC Barcelona for 7 years, went down in history as the first-ever player to score a goal at the new stadium!

Eulogio Martinez

10. The first official match was even better

Just 2 weeks later, on October 6, 1957 , FC Barcelona played its first official match at the Camp Nou stadium in a league game against Jaén .

FC Barcelona, managed by Domènec Balmanya at that time, beat Jaén with a convincing 6-1 score . The tone for a success story was set instantly!

11. It hosted its first European Cup Final in 1972

Nou Camp isn’t just used for games of FC Barcelona. Over the decades, it has hosted multiple important international games .

The first time it was the host of a European Cup Final was in 1972 for the European Cup Winners’ Cup Final between the Glasgow Rangers and Dynamo Moscow , a game that ended 3-2 in favor of the Scottish club.

12. The stadium was expanded in the early 1980s

Camp Nou became one of the most prominent venues for the 1982 FIFA World Cup , and to make a great impression, the stadium was seriously expanded for this tournament in the early 1980s.

A third tier was added and the seating capacity went to 71,731 while the standing capacity went from 16,500 to 49,670. This made the total capacity of the stadium an astounding 121,401!

Apart from the expansion, other facilities were improved as well such as boxes, VIP lounges, a new press area, and new markers.

13. It hosted the opening game of the 1982 FIFA World Cup

The final wasn’t played at Camp Nou, but in Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. It did host 3 first-round matches and one semi-final between Poland and Italy.

One of the most prominent games was the opening match between defending world champions Argentina and Belgium . Argentina shockingly lost the game 0-1 and went on the be eliminated in the second group stage.

14. Its record attendance was set in 1986

Surprisingly, the Camp Nou stadium never completely reached its full capacity during an official game. Not even during the world cup!

Its record attendance remains to this day 120,000 which happened on March 5, 1986 , in a Champions League quarter-final against the Italian side Juventus (who had Michel Platini and the young Michael Laudrup in their ranks).

This game ended in a 1-0 victory for FC Barcelona . If you’re a nostalgic soul, you can watch a summary of this game in a packed Camp Nou here:

15. It hosted its first Champions League final in 1989

The first time the biggest game in European club football was hosted at the Camp Nou stadium was on May 24, 1989 .

On this day, the Italian side AC Milan beat Steaua Bucharest with a clear 4-0 score to become the European Champions.

16. The most memorable Champions League Final happened in 1999

One of the most memorable moments in European football happened in the Camp Nou Stadium when Bayern Munich and Manchester United played each other in the other Champions League final hosted in Barcelona.

Bayern Munich took an early lead and ended up conceding 2 goals in extra time . It marked one of the most surprising comebacks in the history of the European Cup finals.

Camp Nou 1999

17. It was downgraded from 5 to 4 stars in 2010

In 1999 , the year that Barcelona hosted the Champions League final at the Camp Nou, the stadium was awarded a 5-star rating from the UEFA.

With new regulations being introduced by the UEFA in 2010, Camp Nou lost its 5-star status and was downgraded to a 4-star stadium , which still means that it “ fulfills the most demanding requirements with regards to facilities, services, and capacity.

facts about camp nou

18. Camp Nou will be transformed into “Nou Camp Nou”

The fact that Camp Nou needs to be modernized isn’t something the directors of the club are unaware of. One of the most fascinating facts about Camp Nou is that plans to upgrade the stadium have been introduced as early as 2007 .

Unfortunately, the economic crisis of 2008 disturbed these plans and it wasn’t until 2014 that a final plan was introduced that will transform Camp Nou to “ Nou Camp Nou ,” an ultra-modern football temple with a seating capacity of 105,000 roof-covered seats !

The cost of this project is a staggering 600 million euros and is assumed to be completed somewhere in 2024 .

Take a look at how the stadium will look like after it’s been renamed to “ Nou Camp Nou ” in the video below:

19. This is the best goal ever scored at Camp Nou

In 2019 , all supporters of FC Barcelona were allowed to cast their vote as to which was the best goal scored in the club’s 119-year history .

Unsurprisingly, arguably the best player in the club’s history won the vote, Lionel Messi . And not just that, he also claimed the second and third spot!

His goal against Getafe in the 2006/2007 season, which reminds many of the famous goals that one Diego Armando Maradona scored in the 1986 FIFA World Cup , won the competition with 45% of the votes.

Check it out (and hear him explain it) in the video below:

20. This is our vote for the best goal ever scored at Camp Nou

At Stadium Freak, we have a different opinion regarding the best goal ever scored at Camp Nou. The goal we picked is a bicycle kick by Rivaldo in the 2000/2001 season against Valencia.

The context of this goal makes it all the more special:

  • This was the final game of the season .
  • It’s against Valencia and Barcelona was obliged to win in order to qualify for the Champions League (Valencia being their main rivals).
  • The game was standing 2-2 so Barcelona was desperate to score .
  • It was the final minute of the game , which made it the final minute of the season.
  • Rivaldo already scored the first 2 goals in this game, so he completed a hattrick .
  • This goal literally earned FC Barcelona many millions of Euros (qualifying for the Champions League brings in a lot of cash).

All these things combined made this a very, very special goal, enjoy!

21. FC Barcelona is “More than a Club”

One of the most interesting facts about Camp Nou is that when you look at the stands, you can instantly see the inscription in the seating saying “ Mes Que Un Club ,” which literally translates from Catalan to “ More Than A Club .”

This simply means that FC Barcelona isn’t just a club, but an example in terms of philosophy and values. This is exemplified by their youth academy called “La Masia” which has produced numerous top-quality players who actively promote qualities such as humility, courage, ambition, and respect .

It also has a deeper meaning in Catalonia as a whole, a region with a strong culture that feels a need for independence. FC Barcelona has identified itself with this culture and reflects this in the club’s motto!

1. Camp Nou is the largest stadium in Europe and the home ground of FC Barcelona. It was built in 1957 and has been renovated several times since then, with the latest renovation being completed in 2021. The stadium has a capacity of over 99,000 seats, making it one of the most impressive and iconic structures in the world of sports. The stadium is not only a symbol of Barcelona but also of Catalonia and Spain, and it has hosted numerous international games and events. Furthermore, Camp Nou is a popular tourist attraction and offers guided tours that take visitors behind the scenes of the stadium, including the changing rooms, press box, and the tunnel leading to the field. 2. Camp Nou is open for visits and tours from Monday to Sunday, except on days when it hosts matches or events. The tours are available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the ticket office closes one hour before closing time. Guided tours are available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Catalan, French, and German. The phone number for inquiries and reservations is +34 902 189 900. 3. There are several ways to purchase tickets for the stadium tour. You can buy them online through the official FC Barcelona website or in person at the club’s ticket office. Prices for the tours range from €32 for adults and €26 for children aged from 4 to 10 years. However, ticket prices may vary depending on the kind of package you select. Visitors can reach the stadium by using public transportation, with the closest metro stations being Palau Reial, Les Corts, and Maria Cristina, all situated on Line 3 (Green Line). You can also use the bus, as several lines have stops in the vicinity of the stadium. Additionally, if you are traveling by car, there is a parking space nearby but it can be a bit congested on match days.

  • The stadium is a must-see for sports fanatics.
  • Visit on game day, or go behind the scenes on a stadium tour.
  • Stadium tours generally last between 90 minutes and three hours, depending on the option chosen.
  • Don’t forget your camera; the stadium is loaded with photo ops.
  • Audio guides are available for Camp Nou tours.
