International superstar Harry Styles has announced Love On Tour 2022 in support of his new album Harry’s House. Coming off of a sold out 42-date arena tour in 2021 and two special One Night Only shows in New York and London, the highly anticipated 2022 tour will allow fans to have access to six nights in Chicago, turning the iconic United Center into Harry’s House for the run of shows.

What is the General Admission (GA) process for pit access?

  • STARTING TIME:  At 9 AM, guests will receive official numbered wristbands from the United Center. This represents the order you will line up in for GA. Anyone arriving to get a GA wristband must be present in person to receive their wristband. Only one wristband will be provided per person.
  • NO CAMPING:  For the safety of all guests, camping is not allowed. Arriving at 9 AM on show date is the earliest allowable arrival for visiting fans.
  • ONE WRISTBAND POLICY:  Anyone arriving to get a GA wristband must be present in person to receive their wristband. Only one wristband will be provided per person.
  • LOCATION:  Guests will only receive wristbands from a credentialed United Center security employee at Gate 5.
  • LEAVING PRIVILEGES:  Once the wristband is received, guests are free to leave but must return by 5 PM to Gate 5, which is the location where the wristband was distributed.
  • RETURNING TIME:  All guests with a wristband must return to the United Center and be lined up in order of the wristband by 5 PM to have wristband number honored.
  • LATE ARRIVAL:  If a guest with a numbered wristband arrives after 5 PM, the guest will be placed in line after the last guest in line.
  • SAME DAY ONLY:  For Example:Guests for the Oct. 6 show can only line up on Oct. 6. Guests for the Oct. 8 show can only line up on Oct. 8. The “Same Day Only” process applies to all six show dates. The wristband number order only works for the day of the show that you line up for.
  • ONE PROCESS:  This is the only process approved for GA entry. No additional arrangements can be honored at this time.

Can I camp out for the General Admission (GA) line?

In Fall of 2022, Gravitas Ventures released Chicago’s documentary “The Last Band on Stage” directed by Peter Curtis Pardini and narrated by the band’s longtime friend and actor Joe Mantegna. On March 14, 2020. Chicago is the last band playing in the U.S. as COVID lockdowns begin and “The Last Band on Stage” tells the incredible story of how the 56 year-old band survived a pandemic that stopped the world in its tracks.

“Chicago has faced many obstacles in lasting 56 years but the pandemic was possibly their greatest challenge. I’m excited for people to see the story of how they got back to the stage to continue performing,” said director Peter Curtis Pardini. “We’re excited to be bringing The Last Band on Stage to audiences worldwide. This funny and informative documentary offers an inside look at how the legendary band Chicago were able to produce content even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Gravitas Ventures’ Acquisition Coordinator, Mackenzie Maguire.

Chicago received The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the GRAMMYS. The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates performers who have made outstanding contributions of artistic significance to the field of recording. A special award ceremony and tribute concert celebrating the honorees was held in 2020.

Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This was their first nomination. They’ve been eligible since 1994. A long time coming!

Chicago's first album, Chicago Transit Authority , was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 2014.  Chicago managed to fuse pop, rock and jazz together perfectly in this double album.

Robert Lamm and James Pankow have become inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, "25 or 6 to 4," "Saturday In The Park," "Feelin' Stronger Every Day," "Make Me Smile," and many others.

The International Trombone Association presented its 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award to James Pankow. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes people who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to the trombone profession over a long career.

Chicago’s lifetime achievements include two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, Founding Artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a Chicago street dedicated in their honor, and keys to and proclamations from an impressive list of US cities. Record sales top the 100,000,000 mark, and include 21 Top 10 singles, 5 consecutive Number One albums, 11 Number One singles and 5 Gold singles. An incredible 25 of their 38 albums have been certified platinum, and the band has a total of 48 gold and platinum awards.

Chicago have toured every year since the beginning - they’ve never missed a year.  The original three band members are Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals and James Pankow on trombone. The band line-up also includes Wally Reyes, Jr. on drums, Tony Obrohta  on guitar, Loren Gold on keyboards and vocals, Ray Herrmann on sax and flute, Neil Donell on vocals, Eric Baines on bass and Ramon "Ray" Yslas on percussion.

From the signature sound of the Chicago horns, their iconic Vocalists, and a few dozen of ever-Classic Songs, this band’s concerts are celebrations.  2023 marks the band’s 56th consecutive year of touring!

Chicago continue to be true ambassadors for their beloved hometown, carrying the city's name with pride and dignity around the world.

Neil Young’s sold-out concert at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion was postponed Thursday, just hours before showtime.

A statement on the Northerly Island venue’s X page said the show, part of a tour with Young’s band Crazy Horse, was postponed “due to illness.” There were no details about who was ill.

“This show will be rescheduled,” the tweet said. “Hold on to your tickets and stay tuned for more information.

The “Love Earth Tour,” which began April 24 in San Diego, reunites Young, 78, with longtime sidemen Billy Talbot on bass and Ralph Molina on drums. Willie Nelson’s son Micah Nelson has been filling in for guitarist Nils Lofgren.

Tour dates are scheduled through September.

Young and Crazy Horse released a new album, “FU##IN’ UP,” on April 20. A collection of the band’s first songs from the 1960s, “Early Daze,” is set for release on June 28.

Recent tour reviews

The show was great. As I had seen them twice within the past 2 years this show I was the best performance. The other was at the Allegheny Casino in Salamanca,Ny and the Molson Theatre in Toronto. Whenever they are near to my hometown I go to their concert.

They made sure that they gave it their all. Non stop songs from

approximately 8:45 till 11:15pm.

The Doobie Brothers started off the double bill show. They are always good as well.

If they are near your town go and see them. You won't be disappointed.

Whoa! What a show! Chicago play nonstop hits and the instrumental sections are as crisp as ever. I'm mostly a fan of their first four albums and they didn't skimp on that material, but still played quite a bit of their AM Gold from later on haha. New man Jeff Coffey does a great job but the stars are still the rest of the band who have the live energy and passion of a band that just got started, not one that is celebrating 50 years. James Pankow is a beast.

Chicago did NOT disappoint!! How often do we attend a concert with high hopes of a great performance only to walk away let down? Not this time! Chicago gave a stellar performance, belting out hit after hit. It left fans satisfied without regret. The brass sounded as crisp and clean as ever. Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, and Walter Parazaider can still rock with the same ferver from 30 years ago!! New lead singer Jeff Coffey did better than adequate keeping the continuity of the hits we grew up singing...and still do. I'm not sure how much longer they will be touring, but I imagine this was an opportunity I may not have again. This group was long overdue in their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2016). May they continue do what they love, performing for those of us who love and appreciate this incredibly talented group of musicians!

Neil Young concert at Chicago's Northerly Island called off on short notice

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Neil Young & Crazy Horse concert planned for Northerly Island Thursday evening was called off with hours before it was set to start.

The Huntington Bank Pavilion said on social media at 4:56 p.m. that the concert had been postponed – but did not specify a new date. The concert had been scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

"Hold on to your tickets and stay tuned for more information," the Huntington Bank Pavilion said on social media.

It was not specified whether Young or someone else involved in the concert was ill, and or what the ill person was suffering from.

Young is in the midst of his Love Earth Tour with Crazy Horse – composed of Nils Lofrgen, Billy Talbot, and Ralph Molina. Young has worked with Crazy Horse off and on since 1968.

They last toured together a decade ago, and on their current tour have vowed to "treat the fans with a garage-band style of rock music that will surely make them feel like it is going back in time."

Neil Young & Crazy Horse recently released a new live album, "Fu##in' Up," which was described by Pop Matters as a "track-by-track homage to 'Ragged Glory' (1990), the blistering sixth album" by Young and the group.

The album was reportedly recorded at a private show at the Rivoli in Toronto this past November, according to Pop Matters.
