ABOUT THE SHOW:

The show centers on searching for evidence of the elusive ‘human ascension’ to a higher level of consciousness predicted to occur as humanity moves into the Age of Aquarius.

Ellie will introduce topics prompted by ancient wisdom, prophecies, popular theory, and past or recent events each week. Each episode will include a background summary plus an analysis of the topic(s). Tools for analysis may include tarot cards, astrology charts, knowledgeable guests, and comparative information from other sources, timelines, or geographic locations.

Each episode is an attempt to get closer to answers. Some topics stand-alone, and others may be revisited as new or related information becomes apparent.

Show Host Ellie Collins

Ellie Collins

In the early 1980s, a psychic told Ellie that she would ultimately find herself talking to a massive number of people about a subject or subjects she could never have anticipated at the time. For the next 40 years, Ellie did not realize that the Universe was guiding her to a life’s purpose.

In the 1990s, Ellie moved to the US, where she studied public policy at Georgia State University. She worked in television and the performing arts and later moved to the UK, where she worked in central government and policing. Ellie also did her postgraduate degree in Policing, with full scholarship, at Canterbury Christchurch University in England. She had a knack for landing the most controversial and impactful jobs. For over a decade, Ellie routinely worked on prominent government projects that were debated every evening in the news. She held a high-level security clearance, developed national policy, and was an advisor to once-in-a-generation national governmental reviews.

When Ellie finally returned to Australia after living overseas for 20 years, she was confronted with an unexpected reminder of a prophecy she had seen on a religious pamphlet at a friend’s house decades earlier. The prophecy appeared to be coming true, and this realization took Ellie on a journey where her lifelong pass time of reading tarot cards became an intuitive complement to the analytical skills she had fine-tuned in her career. The prophecy spoke of the events that would ultimately lead to the next phase of humanity. A time when everything we have wondered about life and the Universe will be revealed and will propel us into a new Age of Enlightenment.

Ellie now has a successful YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/elliedreamsdownunder), where she uses the intuitive benefits of tarot and dream analysis to examine a wide range of subjects from a uniquely analytical perspective.

Ellie also has a tutorial podcast on how to learn to read tarot, and her first book is in development and due for publication in 2024.

Ellie also recently discovered her love of art and paints for pleasure whenever she can.

Ellie’s favorite thing in the world is her dog or maybe ice cream. It depends.

As part of her new BBC Radio 2 Piano Room performance, Ellie Goulding covered Cara Dillon’s “She Moved Through the Fair.”

From January 30 until February 24, BBC Radio 2 is hosting a variety of artists in its Piano Room, where they perform a few songs from their catalog, as well as a cover. Listen to Goulding’s performance here.

After hosting Sugababes, Belinda Carlisle, Louise, and more last week, Ellie Goulding is the latest artist to record a BBCR2 Piano Room performance. In addition to the stirring Dillon cover, Ellie performed her celebrated single “Love Me Like You Do” and latest single “Like A Saviour.”

Elton John Makes ‘Friends’ – In America, At Least

Ellie’s hotly anticipated fifth studio album Higher Than Heaven is now set for release this March 24. With a pulsating bassline juxtaposed with the 80s tinged synths, new single “Like A Saviour” sees Ellie once again deliver a high energy pop smash. The accompanying video, directed by Joe Connor with choreography by Daniel Alwell, features Ellie and a cohort of backing dancers stranded in a desert – a landscape they must battle against as the song reaches its epic crescendo finish.

Ellie took to social media last month to announce “Like A Saviour” but also share the new release date for her forthcoming album Higher Than Heaven which is now set for release this March 24. Ellie explained “We’ve had some exciting opportunities appear behind the scenes which I cannot wait to share with you in due course. In the meantime as a thank you for your patience.”

The forthcoming album has seen Ellie enlist some of pop music’s finest to craft the album with her, Greg Kurstin (Sia, Maggie Rogers, Elton John ), Jessie Shatkin (Charli XCX, Years & Years), Koz (Sam Ryder, Madonna, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Wells ( Halsey , Yungblud), with the finished record seeing Ellie put her own spin on modern pop music. Higher Than Heaven is jam packed with infectious hits that see Ellie’s signature vocals take centre stage whilst the production is pop music at its finest with stomping basslines, soaring synths and euphoric melodies.

Sally Boazman

Sally Boazman is a broadcasting legend. Thanks to her travel reports and regular interactions with the likes of Chris Evans, Jeremy Vine and Steve Wright on their BBC radio shows, she is now well known to the nation as, Sally Traffic. Having become a cult figure, Sally is also known, as the patron saint of road users.

In a Radio Times poll, Sally was voted one of the most attractive female voices on UK radio.

Sally Boazman 2

Before moving on to radio broadcasting, Sally worked for a little while as an actress. However, broadcasting beckoned and Sally found herself working in current affairs at London Weekend Television (LWT), followed by a spell with AA Roadwatch, broadcasting traffic news bulletins to numerous stations, nationwide.

She then worked at the BBC World Service and the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS). Having served her apprenticeship, Sally soon worked her way up to become chief travel reporter on BBC Greater London Radio. Whilst there, she wrote and delivered scripts, for both radio and Newsroom South East.

In 1998, Sally Boazman made the big move to BBC Radio2. She then took up the role as the station’s first designated travel reporter, quickly becoming the butt of jibes and innuendo from her fellow presenters. However, Sally does have broad shoulders and she continues to enjoy what she considers to be, a very special job.

Sally was honoured with an Outstanding Achievement Award on behalf of all the UK Truckers, for her traffic news on BBC Radio 2.

Steve Wright's Radio 2 co-star says 'he'd be furious' as she breaks down in tears on air over death

Radio 2 traffic reporter Bobbie Pryor broke down in tears while giving an update on the Sara Cox show - after learning of the death of long-time BBC Radio star Steve Wright

Radio 2 listeners have rallied to support traffic reporter Bobbie Pryor after she and show host Sara Cox broke down in tears during Tuesday’s show following the death of Steve Wright .

Radio fans and colleagues at the BBC were shocked on Tuesday when it was announced that Steve had passed away suddenly at the age of 69. He had enjoyed a 40-year career at the Corporation, hosting shows on Radio 1, Radio 2 and on TV channels.

His death was announced in a statement shared by his family, which said: "It is with deep sorrow and profound regret that we announce the passing of our beloved Steve Wright. In addition to his son, Tom, and daughter, Lucy, Steve leaves behind his brother, Laurence and his father Richard. Also, much-loved close friends and colleagues, and millions of devoted radio listeners who had the good fortune and great pleasure of allowing Steve into their daily lives as one of the UK's most enduring and popular radio personalities."

The Sara Cox show was airing from 4pm with the 49-year-old broadcaster being left devastated by the news. Bobbie, who also worked with Steve, struggled to make it through a traffic update during the course of the show.

While giving her report, Bobbie broke down. She apologised, “I’m so sorry. This is so difficult,” and Sara said with compassion: “You are doing so well.” Deciding to “bash on”, Bobbie continued and sadly said: “Steve would kill me for this, if I was in tears.” Sara also became emotional during the report and told Bobbie: “You did well there, Bobbie.”

Bobbie then attempted to pay tribute to Steve, but struggled to get her words out. She began: “I actually just want to say… it’s really difficult isn’t it?”

Sara came to her aid, saying: “It’s really difficult and we are all absolutely had the stuffing knocked out of us, haven’t we? If you’ve just joined us and I don’t know if you’ve heard about the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Steve Wright. So we are all a bit of a mess.”

Returning to Bobbie, she said: “What did you want to say about him?” Composing herself, Bobbie said: “You know, he gave so many people opportunities, he inspired most of us and he would be furious if we were crying now and making such a fuss. So, sorry about that everyone. I will have more travel news for you in half an hour. And thanks for your messages coming through. So dearly missed. Such a great friend.”

Fans rallied to support Bobbie, telling her she had done incredible work pressing on with her report in light of her personal news. One radio fan sent her good wishes via X, writing: “Bobbie Pryor, you have absolutely NOTHING to apologise for. I cannot fathom just how difficult it would be to learn of the death of a beloved colleague live on air.”

What was your favourite Steve Wright show? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

Others were deeply moved by Robbie's report. One said: "This got me… Steve Wright was a legend in the game. Really sad to hear this news. RIP, sir." And another listener wrote: “Absolutely shocked, cant beleive it, listened to this gent for years while trucking around the country, Absolutely gutted, I thought it was a wind up, cant beleive it.”

Ellie 2.0 Radio

Saturdays 10-11 am & sundays 1-2 pm.

We’re generally aware of hopeless idealists, but how many of us have ever actually heard from one?

Ellie 2.0 is all about idealism and the journey of one particular idealist—Ellie Krug—as she works to make the world a better place.

Only, there’s a slight complicating factor: Ellie’s a 61-year-old transgender woman.

That simple demographic sometimes makes things particularly interesting. Or daunting.

Where does the “2.0” come in?

Because in another life, when Ellie presented as a man and worked for big corporations as a trial attorney—the nickname was “Killer Krug”—there was no place for idealism.

Today, remade as her “true” female self, Ellie’s become a doer and believer in humanity and the common good. As she likes to say, “Ninety-nine percent of us want to do the right thing; it’s just that most are afraid to do what’s right.”

Usually, Ellie’s not afraid and most of the time, she does what’s right. Come along as she tries to lead the way, traveling America to make our country whole and truly great for all and everyone .

Engaging. Imaginative. Fun. And real.

Every Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and Sunday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. CST by airwaves or livestream on AM950, the Progressive Voice of Minnesota
