Going on Island Hopping in El Nido Palawan

El Nido Tour A

Tour A is the most popular activity in the area. Tour A takes you on a journey through Bacuit Bay, where you can marvel at the breathtaking limestone islands and iconic lagoons that the region is known for.

During Tour A, you’ll have the chance to visit some of the area’s most beloved destinations, including Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Island, and 7 Commandos Beach. These stops offer a glimpse into the natural wonders of El Nido and are sure to leave you feeling amazed.

One of the great things about Tour A is that it’s a fantastic way to experience El Nido’s stunning natural attractions without straying too far from the mainland. And if you’re a snorkeling enthusiast, you’re in luck! Tour A, along with Tour C, offers some of the best snorkeling opportunities in Bacuit Bay.

El Nido Tour A is not only great for snorkeling, but it’s also perfect for kayaking enthusiasts. During the tour, visitors can rent a kayak and paddle through the crystal-clear waters of Big Lagoon. Kayaking is a peaceful and exhilarating way to experience the natural beauty of El Nido.

  • Tour A is the quintessential El Nido Island Hopping experience, offering picture-perfect limestone cliffs and turquoise waters that will take your breath away. This tour is not only perfect for capturing awesome photos but also a must-do for every traveler visiting El Nido.
  • Keep in mind that destinations included in El Nido Tour A may be crowded during peak season and public holidays, but the stunning scenery makes it worth the trip.

El nido tour b.

El Nido Tour B  typically includes visits to Snake Island Sandbar, Cudugnon and Cathedral Caves, Entaluala Island, and Popolkan Island.

Tour B offers a perfect blend of natural attractions such as caves, islands, beaches, and a sandbar. It’s an ideal choice for travelers seeking a more tranquil and relaxing experience in El Nido. The tour is perfect for those who enjoy kayaking, as the calm waters of Bacuit Bay make it easy to paddle between destinations.

So, if you want to explore the beauty of El Nido away from the crowds and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature, El Nido Tour B is the perfect choice for you.

  • Tour B is a great choice as it offers a diverse range of natural attractions in Bacuit Bay: stunning caves, breathtaking islands, and beautiful beaches.
  • Tour B offers a more relaxed and laid-back experience compared to Tours A and C, which are more active and adventurous.

El nido tour c.

El Nido Tour C is the second most popular tour in El Nido, and for good reason. It includes visits to some of the most stunning destinations in Bacuit Bay, such as Helicopter/Dilumacad Island, Hidden Beach, Secret Beach, Matinloc Shrine, and Tapiutan Island.

This tour is perfect for travelers looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation, with opportunities for snorkeling in crystal-clear waters and exploring hidden beaches and shrines. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, El Nido Tour C is a must-try experience.

  • El Nido Tour C features some of the most stunning destinations in the Bacuit archipelago and offers an excellent balance of adventure and snorkeling opportunities, making it a popular choice among visitors.
  • El Nido Tour C takes you farther out into the open sea, where waves can be stronger. Due to this, the tour may be cancelled last-minute if weather conditions are unfavorable.

El nido tour d.

El Nido Tour D is an off-the-beaten-path adventure that features Cadlao Island and includes visits to some of the hidden gems of Bacuit Bay, such as Cadlao Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Pasandigan Beach, Nat Nat Beach, Bucal Beach, and Paradise Beach.

While it may be the least popular among the other tours, El Nido Tour D should be on every experienced traveler’s wish list. With this tour, you can escape the crowds and experience the tranquility of some of the most beautiful and secluded spots in El Nido.

  • El Nido Tour D is ideal for those who seek secluded beaches and want to avoid the crowds.
  • Please note that there is a minimum number of participants required to run the shared tour, which may not always be reached in low season. As a result, the tour is often organized on a private basis.

El nido island hopping tours for non-swimmers.

If you are not a strong swimmer, don’t worry – you can still enjoy El Nido’s Island Hopping Tours! Life jackets are provided on all tours, allowing you to comfortably snorkel or swim in deep water.

For those who have a fear of deep water or are not confident swimmers, Tour B and Tour D are great options. These tours allow you to enjoy the stunning beaches without having to swim.

However, if you do choose Tour A or Tour C, be prepared to swim more. These tours include visits to hidden lagoons and beaches, with Tour C even featuring a swim through a narrow rock tunnel with strong currents to reach the Secret Beach. Even expert swimmers may find this challenging at times.

El Nido Island Hopping Tours for Families with Children

El Nido Island Hopping Tours can be suitable for children, but it largely depends on the age and swimming ability of the child. It’s important to keep in mind that the tours involve being on a boat for several hours and visiting different islands, beaches, and lagoons where the child will need to swim or wear a life jacket.

Ultimately, it’s up to the parent’s discretion to decide whether the tour is suitable for their child based on their swimming ability and comfort level in the water.

For families with children, it is recommended to book a private boat tour in El Nido. This allows them to travel at their own pace and customize the itinerary according to their preferences. They can also avoid the crowds and choose the destinations that are suitable for their children. Additionally, a private boat tour provides more flexibility in terms of time and activities, making it a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Such good info on your page, thank you for everything!! Do you know if they have announced any different regulations for people who are fully vaccinated, or do we have to follow the same instructions?

Best agency in El Nido

As soon as you arrive in El Nido I would advise you to go to Sea Slugs for a fresh mango shake overlooking the bay. Then you can start to talk to Jayson about what are the best options for the number of days you will visit. For sure he will find something that suits you. At least that's what we did and we spent amazing time in El Nido. Great guys, great tours, great guides, great services, great everything! Warmly recommanded!

With Chris you know he will arrange anything to make your trip a great one. We did a two day overnight tour. We got a private boat tour and did tour A and C (and i it was too busy at one beach for lunch, we just took another quiet one :)) and everything was adjusted to our wishes. Roomer was a great tour guide, he knew the environment very well and told us many personal stories about the Philippines which we loved to hear. In the evening we chose a nice beach for the overnight stay, and while the captain went back to get the rum and the tent (which is more important?) Roomer prepared a great meal again with Crab, chicken adobo (loved it!), canton noodles, fruits, tuna, etc etc it was just delicious! After some rum we slept pretty good in the tent. This was an awesome experience and the Maambeng family you can really trust them and they really do anything to make the trip unforgettable!! PS. Seaslugs is a nice place to eat too!!

Upon arrival at El Nido, while dining at Seaslugs, Jayson, with sympathy and joy, he sat to my table to exchange four words that became 5 wonderful days with this amazing maambeng family! On my birthday I did a tour with Maambeng, Jayson recommendation, and with rain still was wonderful! Both Cris and Jayson, try to explain and help you with everything you need, they will solve any questions and offer you the option they consider most appropriate for you. The tours are safe, include everything other tours but they include towel! You can bring your own cameras, they keep in a waterproof bag, so you can remember the day easily! The food is delicious and kris is a great tour guide, he knows how to do everything and be helpful! If you don't know how to swim, with him you gonna see the amazing lanscape too!) and the amazing captain Arnold navigating through thick and thin if necessary! You gonna enjoy the beautiful of El nido with them, sure! and You will also have some new amazing fantastic friends! Thank you Cris and Jayson for everything! keep doing this amazing job, you're really good! Amazing team! Looking forward to comeback again!

best travel agency in el nido

We went to el nido for 8 magical days. It was part 2 form a 3 weeks trip, and turn out to be the best part of them all. This travel agency was the cherry top ! Cris the owner was amazing. He arrange a privet boat , took us on a privet and isolated island, left us with food and came back at sunset to pick us back. It was the pick of the trip. We did tour a,b,c . Tour a is the best one. Cris was very reliable and always offered us the best rate! We check!! This tour agency was probably the reason everything was smooth, easy, fun and comfortable. Thanks cris for everything!!! Sharon and Lina

If you're going to El Nido you've probably heard about island hopping tours - there are 4 basic tours that are available pretty much everywhere. However, I really enjoyed the tour with Maambeng. Cris and Jayson did everything they could to make our group tour enjoyable. We had 9 people, which isn't a lot but we all stayed in different hostels which makes it tough to get everyone in the same place at the same time. No problem though - Maambeng was flexible on departure time. Also, included with your tour to 4-5 islands is a case of San Miguel beer and a cooked lunch on board the boat - the food was excellent! Definitely one of the best parts of the tour. Last but not least, the guides on board to the boat were experienced, professional, and showed us all kinds of secret places and sights while snorkeling - I don't want to spoil the surprises for you! In short, if you are going to go island hopping, go with Maambeng tours - you can find them in the Sea Slug bar and restaurant on the main beach in El Nido.

We were a group of 4 friends travelling around Phillipines and we found in El Nido the perfect place. We met Cris looking for an Island Hopping and everything went perfect. We rented the boat only for the four of us and Cris took us around the most beautiful waters and beaches in the area. He never rushed us to change the place and we could enjoy as we wanted every single part of the island. Good conversation, always friendly attitude and very professional with everything related to the activity. Will come back to El Nido for sure and Cris will be my tourist guide for sure.

The trip was awesome, visited some cool places you probably wouldn't find on your own and the perfect amount of time in each one. Our guide Jet was so knowledgeable and helpful! 10/10
The 10-Day Phillipines tour was a great culturally immersive experience that was filled with fun, adventure and great people. Our tour guide, Jet, ensured we felt safe and supported at all times. Having a local guide meant we had the opportunity to experience the Phillipines through a local lens enabling us to gain inside knowledge on local areas and visit the best places/restaurants. A highlight for me was camping on the private island and being able to visit a local school. The Philippines is a beautiful place with beautiful people and Jet along with the well planned itinerary, captured exactly that.

I just finished my tour and it’s been absolutely amazing from beginning to end. We were really well taken care of by our group leader Andri making sure everyone was safe and seen while being a good friend along the way. He truly made the experience memorable. The itinerary was excellent and everyday was filled with something exciting. One of the best experiences of my life. 10/10
This was one of the best trips I've done. The itinerary was the perfect mix of activities and down time & I felt, hit the key places I'd travel to if doing it fully solo. Whilst the tour itself and the people I met on it were a big part of me having the best time, it wouldn't have been the same without our tour leader Andri. He helped join the group together before we even started and made everyone feel included once we got there. He was the best mix of chilled and reliable, super knowledgeable and put the needs of the group first like the wonderfully caring human he is. We always knew what we were doing and when and it felt like he made the trip run so smoothly - I only had to worry about turning up and having a good time. If you're thinking about booking this DO IT (and pray you'll have Andri has your leader)

  • Good - 59 reviews for Palawan Island tours
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Some of the other reviews had issues with the hotels, I actually thought they were quite quality locations. Each had an attentive front desk, hot water, and amenities were available for purchase. The tour itself packs a lot into a short time frame. I was tired at the end of it, but in a good way. I actually liked that the week ended with the town tour of Coron, because it was a little more low key and less active than the other days, which was necessary.
One Week in Palawan comprises three cities: Puerto Princesa, El Nido and Coron, in that order. Hopping from one city to another means joining different sets of tourists for that occasion only. Be ready to mingle, particularly the long road trip of 5 hours from Puerto Princesa to El Nido in a medium-sized van. This is not a private tour; you are at once mingled with whomever at the discretion of your tour operator. And be ready to spend because vendors of all shades pop out of nowhere offering useful and not-so-useful items. Tips to your guides/helpers are encouraged as they serve you as best they could to a fault, as they are integral to a decent means of livelihood. The Palawan tour is well-organized, the accommodations superb, the experience memorable. Value-for-money package tour, airfare, shipfare (El Nido to Coron) included. Two-thumbs up!!

Our tour leader Jovain was very well organized and upbeat about our tour which kept it fun. Good stays and excellent food.
I recently embarked on a 10-day tour to Palawan, Philippines, and I can confidently say that it was an absolute breathtaking experience! From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet farewell, and everything from the stunning landscapes to the warm hospitality of the locals made this trip truly unforgettable. Joining a group of fellow travellers only added to the incredible experience, as we formed lifelong friendships and shared unforgettable memories together. The moment we set foot on Palawan, we were greeted by a professional and friendly tour guide named Jovian who made us feel right at home. Jovain was very attentive, informed and participated enthusiastically in all the activities. He was full of laughter and ensured our safety, happiness and wellbeing was a priority. Jovian along with the other tour guides had exceptional professionalism and dedication. They were not only knowledgeable about the history, culture, and ecology of Palawan but also genuinely cared about our well-being and enjoyment. Their enthusiasm and passion for their homeland were infectious, and they made sure we experienced the true essence of Palawan and the nightlife. Our itinerary was meticulously planned, ensuring we made the most of every single day. From the crystal-clear turquoise waters to the lush green landscapes, every corner of this paradise seemed like it was plucked straight out of a postcard. We explored the enchanting underground river in Puerto Princesa to unwinding on the pristine beaches of El Nido and its hidden lagoons, every activity was filled with awe and wonder. We stayed in a variety of accommodations, ranging from cozy beachfront tents and huts to cozy resorts, each offering its own unique charm. The staff at every location were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Although the company could do a few more improvements in the choice of accomodations. One of the highlights of this tour was the delicious local cuisine. From indulging in fresh seafood feasts to savoring traditional Filipino dishes, our taste buds were constantly delighted. Our guides introduced us to local delicacies such as adobo, sisig and lechon. In conclusion, my 10-day tour to Palawan, Philippines, was an absolute 5-star adventure. The stunning natural beauty, incredible accommodations, mouthwatering cuisine, and the bonds formed with fellow travelers made this journey truly unforgettable. If you're seeking a paradise getaway filled with adventure, relaxation, and lifelong memories, I wholeheartedly recommend embarking on a tour to Palawan. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent tour and Ellise our guide was simply outstanding.
Ian, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and made sure everything was running on time. We had some disruption to our water activities due to high waves in Palawan, but Ian and Michael pivoted the activities so they were still fun and engaging. I booked the tour to just relax and let someone else do the planning for me and it worked wonderfully. Would book again with Intrepid.

Palawan tour was totally disaster. I end up with paying double money.I never used tour.what happened to your ivestivation?
Poor communication, organization through three parties that I know of. I was left at an airport in a foreign country for 2 hours. Not impressed especially since I am 52 and specifically emailed them before tour started about my concerns traveling alone. They assured me they had it covered. Ultimately the Left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing and 2 days out of 5 you are waiting around and traveling instead of getting amongst it.I received similar feedback from others that we should have had 2 full days in El Nido as we didn’t get to touch the surface. I wasn’t impressed and fortunately after asking to speak to the manager was refunded a small amount.

Exellent tour. Friendly crew, food was really great. Can recommend to everybody.
Team Violet was incredible!!! The tour was beyond any expectations and the crew, especially Jerome and Paul, were so attentive, warm and funny. The food was soooo yummy and I missed the chef’s cooking once I left! Plenty of food to choose from and they accomodated to all dietary requirements. The islands were stunning and loved our fire on the beach to get to know each other more. Our tour group ended up making a WhatsApp group chat after all of our bonding together and I think our strong bond was due to Team Violets efforts to make us feel safe, happy and cared for! 5 Stars!!!

What training or studies are needed to work in a travel agency.

Before we delve into the different courses that allow you to work in a travel agency, let's start by highlighting the fact that no diploma is required if you want to open your own agency or work in one. In fact, since 2015, it is no longer mandatory to have a BTS in tourism or a similar degree to create your own travel agency. You can therefore practice without a diploma, however skills and experience remain key elements for success. Let's not fool ourselves, creating this type of company, or even just working in it, is not within reach of those who are not passionate about the subject of travel and foreign cultures, and furthermore, it is never too late to train and learn. If you have no diploma to help you, but you want to change your career to become a travel agent for example, know that it will be possible to train yourself via your "Compte Personnel de Formation" (CPF). Inquire with Pôle Emploi to find out where your account stands and how much you have to train yourself. After having said all this, let's now take a look at the courses that are most often favored before entering the world of work in a travel agency. After high school: 2 years to obtain a BTS in tourism or operational commercial management; 3 years for the BUT (Bachelor Universitaire de Technologie) in commercialization techniques. Specialized schools also offer bachelor's degrees. After a two-year degree: - BTS in operational commercial management - BTS in tourism - Salesperson in business travel and tourism After a three-year degree: - BUT in commercialization techniques - Professional license in tourism professions: commercialization of tourism products - Professional license in tourism and leisure professions After a five-year degree: - Master of Science in Tourism and Destination Management

What is the scope of intervention of a professional?

On a daily basis, the activities of a travel agent are diverse and varied, so much so that the professional will rarely have time to get bored during their days, provided their agency is running properly. These tasks can be very different from one company to another. However, to give you a more precise idea of what to expect when practicing this profession, we will summarize for you all the main functions, as well as the most common, for which a travel agent is responsible: - To start, they must of course be familiar with their agency's tourist offerings in order to inform their customers and be able to illustrate their point with detailed information if necessary. - They must also be able to welcome customers in person or over the phone, with the appropriate tone, voice and warmth. - They must also respond to requests for quotes or information by email, which is an administrative task that takes a lot of time and requires organization and rigor at all times. - They must also select tourism products according to the customer's request, then present their characteristics in a constructive and, if possible, argumentative way (the strengths, the prices). - They must also advise the client on the different products (transportation, services), make the reservation, and then establish the contractual documents necessary for the commercial exchange. - They must also check travel documents in advance so that the traveler does not encounter any unpleasant surprises during their trip. - They must also establish the terms of settlement of a dispute or pass it on to legal or litigation services. - They must also provide information for monitoring activity supports so that the agency can have an overall view of its activity and its evolution over time. - They must organize the display of the sales space, with a certain marketing spirit. - Finally, they must perform sales promotion operations, especially during periods specifically conducive to this.

Why use a professional?

The idea of traveling is often a source of anxiety for those who are preparing for it, as there are many things to consider so that the trip goes smoothly and without any hiccups. In this section, we will specifically discuss the main reasons why you should consider using a travel agency or at least a professional in the sector to organize your trip. Preparing for a trip, even one of just a few days, is not easy. Certainly, a lot of information is available on the internet, but compiling it all to organize your future trip takes a lot of time. First, let's realize that going through a travel agency will allow you to save a lot of time. No need to spend several hours searching for the right flight or finding a hotel to sleep in, finding a rental car, etc. Calling on a professional means giving yourself more time to devote to other things that could also, why not, optimize your trip. Then, entrusting the organization of your trip to a provider means trusting the experience and know-how of a professional who has the required skills to organize a trip that meets your expectations and advise you properly, both in terms of tourism, legal, or even geographical aspects. Calling on a professional, contrary to what one might think, often turns out to be less expensive in the end than organizing everything yourself. Indeed, thanks to their relations with suppliers, the professional is likely to find very good deals for you and offer unbeatable prices, for example for flights, but also for accommodations. It is precisely the addition of all this that will allow you to save money. To conclude this section, we would like to emphasize that for each of us, safety and assurance during the trip are two essential things, regardless of the final destination. Thanks to their total mastery of the travel world, a travel professional will be committed to ensuring your safety throughout your stay. Furthermore, you will benefit from after-sales service and, in the event of an unforeseen circumstance (whether it be a canceled flight, an airline strike, or other), you can obtain assistance simply by contacting your travel agent, who will then take care of finding a solution to your problem.

When should you call a professional?

There isn't really a rule about this, as long as you don't wait until the last minute. Consider that the sooner, the better, so planning a trip to the other side of the world cannot be done overnight. The agent has to find a flight, accommodation options at the destination, and a whole bunch of other services that you might want to take advantage of once you're there. It is therefore better to start planning at least a few weeks or months in advance. This will also allow you to benefit from better prices, which is not insignificant. Note, however, that some agencies specify a maximum anticipation date, meaning that, for example, it will not be possible to book a flight or even a hotel 2 or 3 years in advance... but this is natural and almost goes without saying.

How to find a professional to organize your trip?

No matter where you are or where you want to go, finding this type of service is relatively easy, as long as you don't live in a too remote area. Whether you live in El Nido (Bacuit) downtown or in the deepest countryside, start by asking your acquaintances and loved ones, although it must be acknowledged that word-of-mouth is not necessarily the most effective way to find the rare gem (but you never know...). If you live in a very remote area, in the middle of the countryside, not finding a travel agency nearby (within 20 or 30 kilometers) should not stop you or discourage you; be sure that you will find an agency in the nearest medium or large city! In any case, rest assured that the right professional, once contacted, will be more than willing to make your life easier, and if necessary, subsequent exchanges can be done through emails or phone calls. If word-of-mouth yields nothing, which is very possible, then it is recommended to use the internet, by consulting a site like StarOfService, for example, which lists all professionals in a certain field, based on where you're conducting the search. In just a few clicks, the site will provide you with the contact details of the said professional and you can contact them right away, and this also applies to travel agents. From there, you are free to shop around or simply choose the one closest to your home, it is no longer our concern...

How much does a travel agency service cost?

The rates that we are going to indicate here are not contractual, but simply average values obtained throughout the French territory. Each agency has its own way of billing, so we cannot recommend enough that you ask for the details of the services from the relevant agent. Only then can you have a precise idea of what you are paying for. Having said that, let's now move on to the pricing, which, while not to be taken as exact figures, will still give you an idea of the prices practiced on the market. In general, it should be noted that the majority of a travel agency's income comes from commissions paid by the various suppliers involved during the stay; these are percentages that are taken from each sale made. Generally, the agent on average takes between 8% and 10% of the public price for a plane ticket sold; regarding other services, the percentage is between 9 and 15% of the public price. Consulting fees, act and reservation fees are also sources of income for a travel agency, but it is up to each brand to quantify its services. Therefore, you will have to ask the question or inquire when the time comes.

How to choose the right travel agent or agency?

No matter where you are or live, whether in a particular city, region or department, finding this type of professional is relatively simple, based on studies on the subject. So whether you live in the inner city of El Nido (Bacuit) or in the depths of the countryside in Moselle or Gironde, we advise you to start by asking around among your acquaintances and friends, as word of mouth is always a good way to find the right address for such things (we all know people who have traveled through a particular agency, so let's start by looking in that direction...). If this first search yields no results, it is then possible to use the Internet, as it is the most common way to purchase travel services, not physical agencies. Once online, no matter which search engine is used, we suggest consulting a site like StarOfService, for example, which lists all professionals in a particular field, depending on the location of the search and where you live. In just a few clicks, the site will provide you with the contact details of the professional and you can contact them within minutes to inquire about their availability, rates, etc. Don't hesitate to consult a large number of customer reviews and comments, as they are essential information for getting an idea of the level of service provided by the agent or agency in question.

Here are some questions to ask a travel professional during your first meeting:

- How long have you been practicing this profession? What training or diploma do you possess to carry out this activity? - What are your rates? Can I have a detailed breakdown of them? - Will you provide me with a proper quote prior to starting the work? - What are your availability to discuss my travel project? - Can you guarantee the respect of deadlines and rates that we agree upon?
