Player with level 345

Each level contains one Hidden Object Scene that has to be played repeatedly to uncover clues . Five Levels, plus an Adventure Scene , make up one Chapter and each Volume contains a different amount of levels. In order to level up the player has to gain a certain amount of flowers.

The level card shows a picture of the Hidden Object Scene in the middle with the level number in the center. Underneath the image there is the title of the level and then the clue(s) . While playing the Scene the player can gain up to five stars per level. When the fifth star is completed the level will be marked as mastered at the top of the level card. At the very bottom there is the Play button through which the player accesses the Scene .

Stefanik Announces Agreement Between Amtrak and CN to Make Track Improvements and Avoid Future Summer Stoppages of Service

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced that following her advocacy, Amtrak and the Canadian National Railway (CN) have reached an agreement to make the track improvements needed to prevent any future summer stoppages of service of Amtrak’s Adirondack Line. 

“I am proud to announce that following my advocacy, Amtrak and CN have reached an agreement that will allow them to continue serving Upstate New York and North Country communities that rely on the Adirondack Line for transportation,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. “This result will allow tourism to flourish through the summer months, strengthening economic development in the region and our partnership with our Canadian neighbors.”

Service of the Adirondack Line is expected to be modified in the coming weeks to ensure completion of the track work needed to help increase reliability of the service during the summer months in the future.

"While the journey to a favorable conclusion has seemed longer than the railway itself, we welcome the finalization of an agreement between Amtrak and CN that will avoid another summer long shutdown," says Garry Douglas, President of the North Country Chamber of Commerce. "This means that the six-week suspension starting May 20th will allow the heat related challenges on a stretch of the CN line north of the border to be fully resolved so that, when service resumes at the end of June, we should see no more rail condition interruptions for hopefully years to come. And that means service will be back for most of the summer and can resume the increase in ridership we were seeing before these suspensions. We thank our federal representatives and especially Congresswoman Stefanik for the persistent pursuit of this needed agreement and commitment."

“The Adirondack Train that runs between New York City and Montreal is an important mode of transportation in the North Country for residents and visitors alike. The closures in past years have been detrimental to our communities and I am pleased that they are finally addressing this issue so that we can keep the train operating in the future," said Assemblyman Billy Jones (D-Chateaugay Lake).

“I’m pleased to see an agreement be reached to make significant upgrades to this essential rail service. Once these ongoing repairs are completed, riders will enjoy a much better experience,” said State Senator Dan Stec.

In June 2023, CN implemented safety restrictions of 10mph which shut down service of the Adirondack Line when the temperature reached 86 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, citing concerns about the condition of the track. As a result, Amtrak suspended service north of Saratoga Springs for seventy-nine days. 

In September 2023, Congresswoman Stefanik sent a letter demanding that Amtrak and CN provide a plan of action to avoid a future summer stoppage of service of the Amtrak Adirondack Line. The past ten months, Stefanik’s office has been engaged with Amtrak and CN, advocating to keep the Adirondack Line fully functional. Stefanik has been a longstanding advocate of the Adirondack Line. Following her continuous advocacy , Amtrak fully reopened the Adirondack Line in April 2023 after it was closed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Journey Back to Mordor When ‘Lord of the Rings’ Extended Editions Return to Theaters

The critically acclaimed trilogy returns to cinemas in June.

The cinematic experience, and how each generation views what is the absolute apex differs and changes based on the demography. In recent times, the multi-year and multi-film plan that cumulated finally in Avengers: Endgame was brilliant to see unfurl. The financial and cultural exploits of Barbie could also be brought under that umbrella. However, when it comes to the perfect storyline, acting and overall package when the lights go out in the cinema, nothing comes quite close to the Peter Jackson trilogy adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien 's Lord of the Rings . A trilogy seemingly ahead of its time, its a tale unlike any other. Now, Fathom Events and Warner Bros. have announced today that new dates have been added to the upcoming release of one of cinema’s most iconic fantasy epics .

It had been announced in April that the fantasy epic would be returning to theaters this summer with remastered extended editions of the movies. Now, Fathom Events and Warner Bros. have added new dates to expand the opportunity for die-hard fans of the Lord of the Rings to see the trilogy beyond the previously announced dates of June 8, 9 and 10. Additionally, select Regal Cinemas will present the films in spectacular 4DX! The freshly added dates will see The Fellowship of the Ring playing on June 15, The Two Towers will stand tall on June 16, and we will celebrate The Return of the King on June 17 . The 4DX viewing experience will be available at select cinemas showing on June 22, 23, and 24 for The Fellowship of the Ring , The Two Towers , and The Return of the King respectively.

As fans of the Lord of the Rings will tell you, Jackson's adaptation of Tolkien's novels is centered on humanity's fight against callous hate. Sauron and Saruman ( Christopher Lee ) have joined forces to bring the world of Men to its knees, and standing in his way, with the sole purpose of destroying the One Ring are Frodo Baggins ( Elijah Wood ) and Samwise Gamgee ( Sean Astin ). The extended editions of the trilogy which are coming will see the likes of Gandalf ( Ian McKellen ), Peregrin "Pippin" Took ( Billy Boyd ), Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck ( Dominic Monaghan ), and Legolas ( Orlando Bloom ) strut their stuff against evil for copious amounts of time. The Fellowship of the Ring for a generous 228 minutes, The Two Towers , for a hefty 235 minutes, and The Return of the King , for an insane 263 minutes.

It's a New Age for 'The Lord of the Rings'

The Lord of the Rings has been in the news of late recently. First, with the passing of Bernard Hill , the actor brought to life, in a commanding performance, the role of King Théoden of Rohan . Words can't fathom his delivery on the role at the Battle of Helm's Deep and the charge of the Rohirrim at the Siege of Minas Tirith. Also, Warner Bros. have announced that it is developing a new Lord of the Rings film , titled The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum , starring Andy Serkis as Gollum. The studio is also developing its first-ever animated film to be set in The Lord of the Rings universe with The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim .

All of these are in the works while we wait for Season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power , which will premiere on Prime Video on August 29. Watch the first trailer here .

How Nancy Pelosi became one of America's richest and most powerful politicians

• Nancy Pelosi rose through the ranks of Congress to eventually become the first female House speaker.
• It was a monumental achievement for the California lawmaker and native daughter of Baltimore.
• And in many ways it was fueled by her early political instincts and her role as a full-time mother.

In many ways, Nancy Pelosi's political ascent was no surprise.

Decades before Pelosi become the first female House speaker in US history, she was Nancy D'Alesandro, the daughter of the highly influential Thomas D'Alesandro Jr., who served as a Maryland congressman and then as mayor of Baltimore from 1947 to 1959.

Nancy D'Alesandro was born in Baltimore on March 26, 1940, the youngest of seven children (and the only girl) in an Italian-American family that in the city was synonymous with public service.

She graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore in 1958 before attending Trinity College in Washington, DC, where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science. While in college, she attended President John F. Kennedy's 1961 inaugural address and even interned on Capitol Hill alongside now-Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer, who rose from the state legislature to become the US House majority leader and one of the chamber's most respected legislators.

In September 1963, Nancy D'Alesandro married Paul Pelosi , whom she met in college. They then had five children: Alexandra, Jacqueline, Nancy Corinne, Christine, and Paul Jr. Along with her husband, Pelosi has an estimated net worth of $46 million .

In 1969, the Pelosi family would eventually move to San Francisco, where the future speaker reveled in being a full-time mother, a role that she said prepared her for her rise in California politics and on the national stage.

"That's one of the hardest things," Pelosi said of parenting in a 2019 interview with The Washington Post . "Makes going to work look easy, doesn't it?"

Welcome to San Francisco

San Francisco, which has traditionally been the center of political gravity in California politics, was a magnet for the counterculture in the 1960s and 1970s.

The Summer of Love . The Black Panthers and Black activism in the Bay area. The escalation of protests against the Vietnam War. The rise of the gay rights movement.

These movements had a major influence on the liberalism that would come to define the region.

During this era and in later years, Pelosi cut her teeth in the city's Democratic politics. In 1976, she became a Democratic National Convention committee member. From 1981 to 1983, she chaired the powerful California Democratic Party. And in June 1987, she was first elected to the House in a special election to succeed the late Rep. Sala Burton.

Rise to the Top

In 2003, Pelosi became the first woman to lead a political party in Congress, serving as House Minority Leader.

Over the next three years, she worked fervently to regain a majority in the House of Representatives, recruiting Democratic candidates from across the ideological spectrum and raising millions of dollars.

In 2006, Democrats won control of the House after a 12-year drought, making Pelosi the first female speaker ever . She would assume the speaker's gavel in January 2007.

When President Barack Obama took office in 2009, Pelosi was instrumental in shepherding his legislative agenda through Congress, which notably included the Affordable Care Act, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.

After Democrats lost the House majority in November 2010, she stayed on as minority leader until the party once again regained control of the lower chamber in 2018.

Pelosi served as a foil to President Donald Trump's conservative agenda during his final two years in office, even ripping up his February 2020 State of the Union speech after he appeared to snub her handshake prior to the televised address.

Once Joe Biden assumed the presidency in 2021, Pelosi once again used her political acumen to not only move the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan through the House, but also the bipartisan infrastructure legislation and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. All were signed into law by Biden.

After the GOP narrowly flipped the House in 2022, Pelosi stepped down from leadership , which meant that for the first time in 20 years, she was no longer leading the party's caucus in the lower chamber.

She was succeeded as House Democratic leader by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York .

But Pelosi has remained active as a lawmaker and as a surrogate for Democrats as they aim to regain control of the House in November 2024.

The congresswoman, now 84 years old and a recent recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom , is running for reelection in the fall, adding another chapter to a career that has endured in Washington for nearly four decades.
