In the spirit of Lollapalooza , Bert envisioned a festival that would encapsulate all of his favorite elements: laughter, the great outdoors, conviviality, and enjoying drinks with friends, all meant to offer a shared experience that would resonate with fans long after.

The Fully Loaded Comedy Festival proudly supports Comedy Gives Back . They are an organization founded as a safety net for comics by providing them with financial crisis relief, mental health support and more to those that need help.  They are an incredible organization, and have already done so much for comedians.

Bert Kreischer’s career has evolved from being Rolling Stone’s 1997 "Number One Partier in the Nation," to one of the top grossing stand-up comics in the business, and most recently, star of a major motion picture. According to Forbes, Kreischer has been hailed as, “one of the best storytellers of his generation, seamlessly and sincerely sharing anecdotes about his family and fatherhood while proving that there’s a way to take his [party-boy] antics into middle-age.”

In March, Kreischer released his highly anticipated 5th stand-up special, Razzle Dazzle and his stand-up specials, Secret Time, The Machine, and Hey Big Boy are currently streaming on Netflix, as well. Razzle Dazzle has charted in the top 5 standup specials on Netflix and has been accompanied by at least one of his other three specials in the top 20 since its debut. Kreischer starred in and produced the film, The Machine, which premiered in the spring of 2023, based on his signature stand-up set recounting his true experience with Russian mobsters while on a booze-soaked college trip. “The Machine,” a unique story from his true-life experiences on a college study group in Russia when he was mistaken for a Russian mafia boss robbing the train he was on, represents a pivotal shift upward in Kreischer’s career. He wrote the story as a routine after returning home from a disappointing New Year’s Eve gig in Oxnard, CA where no one showed up.

At the time, he enjoyed a busy schedule touring comedy clubs, had chalked up TV credits for “ Bert the Conqueror ” and “Trip Flip” for the Travel Channel, “Hurt Bert” on FX, and other hosting and acting roles as well showcasing his routine on TV talk shows. “When I got into this business, everyone followed in lockstep so much: It was get your tight 10 [minutes], get on Conan , get on Letterman , get on ‘The Tonight Show,’ get a development deal, get a commercial…” Kreischer explains. “Even though I did that for a period of time, the second I started listening to my own gut was when I started really succeeding.”

After writing “The Machine” story, Bert shot himself delivering it, posted it on Facebook, and went to bed. Bert’s wife LeeAnn woke him the next morning to announce that the clip had gone viral, with 22,000 shares. By just a few days later, it had racked up a phenomenal 33 million views, Now, at more than 85 million views and counting, “The Machine” became the centerpiece of Kreischer’s next comedy special and what Deadline calls his “genre-busting” debut film. “I love the idea of doing things a little differently and not being afraid to do things a little differently,” he asserts. To wit, when the Covid-19 pandemic first surged in 2020, Kreischer worried about how he and his fellow entertainers whose income relied on touring might survive. So he booked a four-date socially-distanced tour of drive-in theaters called Hot Summer Nights. “Every agent in the business told me not to do drive-ins,” he recalls. The tour sold out and created a new live entertainment option during the pandemic.

In the wake of the article, he first tried standup at, in this case, the aptly-named venue Potbelly’s in Tallahassee. “Afterwards, I called my Dad and said, this is what I’m going to do for the rest of my life. I got to be every part of me that I like being and everyone enjoyed it.” He was offered a morning DJ shift on a local radio station as a result of the show. Instead, he moved to New York City, and at age 26 wrangled his way into both working and honing his act onstage at the seminal Greenwich Village venue the Boston Comedy Club alongside such fellow budding talents as Sarah Silverman, Adam Sandler, Jim Gaffigan, Ed Helms, and other notables. 

Early opportunities that came his way augured big things to come in the future, even if some didn’t work out as intended. Oliver Stone optioned the rights to the Rolling Stone article to develop it into a feature film starring Bert (a writer of a spec script for the project adapted it to become the movie “Van Wilder”). Soon after, Will Smith recruited Kreischer to star in a CBS TV sitcom pilot, “Life With David J,” with Elliott Gould.

Since migrating to Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife LeeAnn and their two daughters, Georgia and Ila – all of whom figure in his routines – Kreischer first made his bones on the standup club circuit and appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Conan” and “Racheal Ray” along with acting parts on shows like the acclaimed police drama “The Shield.” He wrote about his life to date in “Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child,” published by St. Martin’s Press, and released the CD Bert Bert Bert in 2007.

What is AXS Mobile ID?

With mobile ticketing through AXS, you’re able to keep your tickets securely stored in your AXS App until it’s time for your event and enter with a quick and simple scan. Easy!

How do I get the AXS App?

The AXS App is free to download and available in the App Store or Google Play. To login, use the same email address you used when purchasing your tickets. You can also download the Houston Rockets app to enter Toyota Center for events. 

How do I use the AXS App to enter the building?

• Open the AXS App
• From the “Home” screen tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen
• Login to your account entering the email address used to purchase the tickets
• (If you can’t remember your password, tap Forgot Password and follow the instructions sent to your email)
• Browse your upcoming events and tap the one you want to view
• Tap “View Barcode” and present QR code at the door to be scanned for entry to Toyota Center

How do I access my Parking pass?

Your parking pass for the Toyota Tundra garage will load like a ticket with a barcode to be scanned as you enter the garage.

Can I print my tickets?

AXS Mobile ID tickets are digital and cannot be printed for venue entry.

Are screenshots of the barcode valid for entry?

No, tickets must be scanned through the AXS App.

Can I have multiple tickets on one phone?

Yes. However, we recommend that you transfer tickets to each person attending the event.

What if I don’t have a smartphone?

Please bring a valid photo ID and the card you used to purchase the tickets to the Toyota Center box office.

How far in advance can I access my tickets?

Unless otherwise noted, tickets are accessible on the AXS app and ready to manage as soon as the purchase is complete. Ability to transfer and/or sell tickets varies by show and is subject to change.

What should I bring to an event?

• Wallet with photo ID
• The card you used to purchase your tickets

What if I need help on an event day?

Please visit the Toyota Center Box Office where one of our ticket resolutions associates will assist you.

How do I transfer tickets?

Transferring tickets allows you to send tickets electronically to anyone with a valid email address. Once the recipient logs in and accepts the tickets, they will be able to view the barcode.

• Tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen
• Tap "Transfer"
• Enter the recipients first & last name followed by their email address
• Tap 'Continue'
• Review the information and tap 'Transfer'

The recipient will receive an email with a link to download the AXS app and retrieve their tickets.

What is the venue Bag Policy?

Toyota Center encourages fans to travel light and not bring bags. Bags that are 5.5” x 8.5” or smaller will be screened through an expedited visual process. Bags that are larger than 5.5” x 8.5” but smaller than 14”x14” x 6” will be scanned through additional screening process and/or x-ray machines that will likely require a longer wait. Medical bags and parenting bags are permitted and are the only bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” that will be allowed. This policy is subject to change at any time.

Comedian Tom Segura set to play Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Comedian Tom Segura is bringing his “Come Together” tour to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Segura’s show is Thursday, Sept. 26. Presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27. Ticket sale to the public begins 10 a.m. Friday, March 29. Go to rocketmortgagefieldhouse.com .

Ticket buyers in some cities will have the option to buy a Platinum charity ticket. Segura will donate a portion of proceeds from these sales to the World Central Kitchen . The non-profit, which chef José Andrés founded, provides meals in the wake of natural disasters.

Jelly Roll is feeling grateful to be alive after a year filled with nominations and wins for his music. 

On Thursday, the 37-year-old singer took to the stage of the 2024 ACM Awards to accept the trophy for Best Music Event along with his collaborator, Lainey Wilson , for their song "Save Me." After the win, he popped backstage to discuss with ET's Rachel Smith his emotional acceptance speech and why he was nearly moved to tears in the moment alongside the Yellowstone actress, 30. 

"I was so emotional because it saved me," he shared of their meaningful single. "'Save Me' was really the beginning of me finding my real voice and it was kind of me stepping out of my shell and being comfortable and just being open and vulnerable."

He added, "I always wrote vulnerable music but never to that degree and it just changed my whole life. You've got to remember, I dropped 'Save Me' in the middle of 2020, it was a really dark time, and people connected with it and I get thousands of messages about how much that song has helped people. This song meant so much to me and I was so emotional because I think tonight was the last night it qualified for any cycle. So if I didn't win tonight, it never got what I thought it deserved."

During the live broadcast, Wilson first took the stage to deliver her own remarks following their win and quickly passed the torch over to Jelly Roll, who got up to the mic and shared that with "no pun intended," their song really did change his life for good. 

"I'm going to try not to get emotional but no pun intended, but seriously, this song saved me," he said on stage."I was in a dark place, I wrote it from my soul -- I knew people would connect with it."

He continued, "One year ago today Lainey and I stood on this stage and debuted it. This song is a triple platinum record, I wrote it with a high school friend, we never thought we'd be songwriters, I never thought I'd be standing here."

As he went on, Jelly Roll doubled down on his shock and gratitude at the honor and candidly shared where a younger version of himself thought he would end up in life. 

"I thought I would die or go to jail and I'm standing here as an ACM Award winner," he said as the camera flashed to his wife, Bunnie XO , in the audience clapping and nodding. The  Whitsitt Chapel  artist previously  served time behind bars  before turning his life around through music. 

Before exiting the stage after his first win of the night -- the singer took one last moment to get the already-fired-up crowd even more raucous, calling out, "You hear what I'm talking about, Texas? Let's go baby."

Jelly Roll was honored with four nominations at the ACM Awards on Thursday, including nods in the Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year categories. The signs of recognition are just the latest after he took the GRAMMY Awards and the CMTs by storm earlier this year.

At the CMT Awards in early April, he pulled off a clean sweep in all of his nominated categories, a feat he also did in 2023. He spoke with ET's Cassie DiLaura backstage after the wins and shared his surprise at another round of trophies he would be taking home. 

"I don't know what to say. I'm out of words. By the last time I got up there, I was like, 'Man, this is crazy,'" the artist shared. "It's just unreal, man."

In June 2023,  Jelly Roll spoke with ET  and explained the importance music has played in his life and why he continues to make music for those who find themselves in a similar situation to the one that he went through before his success. 

"I think at some point in life, everything in life has let me down. But music was always my constant," he shared. "Like, when I had nothing else, I had a boombox. When I was incarcerated, I had a set of headphones and a little radio."
