Music has accompanied her all her life. She learned to play several instruments as a child and later began training in singing, acting and dancing at the Youth Opera Academy in Hamburg. Today, Shirin David is one of the most successful German rappers with numerous number 1 hits. On 18 November 2023, the artist will come to the Olympic Hall with her current album "Bitches brauchen Rap".

Piano and violin, oboe and ballet. In her early years, Barbara Schirin Davidavičius still had many signs of a career in classical music - until the daughter of a Lithuanian mother and an Iranian father started her own YouTube channel in 2014, which quickly became one of the most successful channels in Germany with several million subscribers. In 2015, she had her first success alongside Ado Kojo with a cover song of Sabrina Setlur's "Du liebst mich nicht".

But the Hamburg-born singer's real breakthrough came in 2019 with her first solo album "Supersize", which, like the single "Gib ihm", reached number one in the German charts. A novelty that no German female rapper had ever achieved before with her debut. With "90-60-111" (2020), "Ich darf das", "Lieben wir", "Be a Hoe/Break a Hoe" (all 2021), she conquered the top position in the singles charts four more times in the following two years.

Now the pioneer and icon of Gen Z, who also developed her own perfume line and an iced tea creation as an ambitious entrepreneur, is coming to Munich: At her concert on 18 November in the Olympic Hall.

Shirin David (29) führt weiterhin die Offiziellen Deutschen Single-Charts an. Zum fünften Mal in Folge kann sie sich mit ihrem Hit "Bauch Beine Po" die Spitzenplatzierung sichern. Nachdem der Song gerade erst zum diesjährigen Sommerhit der Offiziellen Deutschen Charts, ermittelt von GfK Entertainment, ernannt wurde, dürfte das für ihre Fans aber wohl keine allzu große Überraschung sein.

Die Rapperin feiert ihren Erfolg auf Instagram . Zu einer ganzen Reihe an Fotos erklärt David: "Ich habe mir Silvester 2023 geschworen, dass dieser Sommer mein Sommer werden wird. Guess what, Miss Sommerhit 2024."

Bei den Singles ist in dieser Woche generell Frauenpower angesagt. Ayliva bleibt zusammen mit ihrem Kollegen Apache 207 und "Wunder" nicht nur auf der Zwei. Sie kann zudem die Lieder "Nein!" (Platz 18), "Beifahrer" (Platz 25), "Traum" (Platz 54) und "Lieb mich" (Platz 91) platzieren. Die US-Sängerin Sabrina Carpenter ist ebenfalls dreimal vertreten - mit "Espresso" auf der Fünf, "Please Please Please" (Platz 35) und "Taste" (Platz 43). "Move" von Adam Port, Stryv, Keinemusik, Orso & Malachiii sowie "I Like The Way You Kiss Me" von Artemas vervollständigen auf den Rängen drei und vier die Top Five.

Oasis zurück in den Charts

Ayliva und Sabrina Carpenter sind auch in den Album- Charts erfolgreich vertreten. Mit "In Liebe" führt hier die deutsche Musikerin, während ihre Kollegin mit "Short N' Sweet" auf der Drei neu einsteigt. Ebenfalls neu dabei sind die Leoniden mit "Sophisticated Sad Songs" auf Platz zwei, Louis Tomlinson mit "Live" auf der Vier und Mono Inc. mit "Symphonic Live - The Second Chapter" auf Rang fünf.

Für die größte musikalische Überraschung der letzten Tage haben Oasis gesorgt. Die britische Kultband hat für das kommende Jahr eine Reunion-Tour angekündigt. Das spiegelt sich auch in den Charts wider. "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?", das zweite Studioalbum der Gruppe um die Gallagher-Brüder, das erstmals 1995 veröffentlicht wurde, schafft prompt den Wiedereinstieg auf der 77.

David Gilmour Thinks His New LP, ‘Luck And Strange’, Is His Best Work Since ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ [Listen]

David Gilmour , the British rock guitarist best known for his work in  Pink Floyd , has released  Luck and Strange , his first new solo album since 2015’s  Rattle That Lock .

The slow rollout of the new LP began with the album’s announcement back in April. In the time since, Gilmour has taken various novel measure to market the album including hiding lyrics to various tracks in local newspapers around the U.K. While attempting to channel attention toward a new release is par for the course, Gilmour has been particularly vocal about his affinity for the new work, notably referring to the Luck and Strange as “the best album I’ve made since [Pink Floyd’s iconic]  Dark Side of the Moon in 1973.”

Gilmour is preparing to hit the road for a run of international tour dates in support of the new album. After starting his Luck and Strange tour with multi-night stints in Rome and London in late September and early October, the tour will head to the States for a three-night run at Los Angeles, CA’s  Hollywood Bowl (October 29th, 30th, 31st) and New York, NY’s  Madison Square Garden (November 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th).

Comeback nach sieben Jahren : Linkin Park ist zurück! Neue Frontsängerin, Album und Tour angekündigt

Die Band Linkin Park hat am Donnerstagabend ihr Comeback angekündigt. Nachdem ihr Frontsänger Chester Bennington 2017 starb, wagen sie nun mit einer neuen Sängerin, Album und Tour den Neuanfang.

Nach sieben Jahren Pause gibt es nun überraschende Neuigkeiten bei Linkin Park: Mit einem einstündigen Live-Konzert kündigte die Band am Donnerstagabend (Ortszeit) über Instagram ihr Comeback an. Seit dem Tod ihres Frontsängers Chester Bennington 2017 hatte die Band Abstand von Konzerten genommen und auch keine neuen Songs herausgebracht. Nun soll eine Frau in die Fußstapfen von Chester Bennington treten: Emily Amstrong. Auf Instagram postete Linkin Park Videos des Konzertes, bei dem sie viele alte und bekannte Lieder performten. 

Linkin Park präsentiert neuen Song "The Emptiness Maschine" 

Gleichzeitig veröffentlichte Linkin Park an dem Abend einen neuen Song.  The Emptiness Machine  ist die erste Single des geplanten neuen Albums From Zero,  das am 15. November erscheinen soll. Zu dem Albumtitel heißt es von Linkin Park: From Zero beziehe sich sowohl auf die Anfänge der Band als auch auf die neue Phase, die vor ihnen liege: "Klanglich und gefühlsmäßig geht es um Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft – unser typischer Sound, aber neu und voller Leben." Auf YouTube erreichte das offizielle Musikvideo von The Emptiness Maschine innerhalb von sechs Stunden mehr als eine Millionen Aufrufe. 

Neue Linkin Park WorldTour: Band kommt nach Deutschland!

Darüber hinaus plant die Band auch eine WorldTour mit sechs Konzerten. Am 11. September geht es in Los Angeles los. Dann spielen sie noch ein Konzert in New York, bevor sie am 22. September nach Hamburg kommen. Der Vorverkauf für die Tickets startet am Donnerstag, 12. September. Die weiteren Stationen der Konzertreihe sind London, Seoul und Bogota.

Linkin park comeback: chester benningtons erbe.

Nach zwei Countdowns, die die Band auf Social Media postete, hatte es zuletzt mehrere Spekulationen um ein Comeback gegeben. Neben Frontfrau Emily Amstrong gibt es noch ein weiteres neues Bandmitglied. Am Schlagzeug sitzt nun Colin Brittain. Vor allem Emily Amstrong hat in der neuen Bandformation keine einfache Aufgabe. Sie muss versuchen, die Lücke zu füllen, die Chester Bennington hinterließ. Er prägte den Sound der Band durch seine einprägende Stimme und tiefgründige Texte. Jahrelang litt er unter Depressionen, 2017 nahm er sich im Alter von 41 Jahren das Leben. Zu der neuen Formation äußerte sich Sänger Mike Shinoda beim Konzert. Zum Publikum sagte er: "Und die Rolle von Chester Bennington liegt (...) bei jedem von euch."

Emily Armstrong, die in Los Angeles aufwuchs, gründete 2005 zusammen mit Siouxsie Medley die Band Dead Sara . Dort war Amstrong Sängerin und Bass-Gitarristin. Die Band löste sich 2022 auf. Das letzte Album, das die Band herausbrachte, war nur mäßig erfolgreich.

The Weeknd | After Hours Til Dawn Tour

The Weeknd to perform at Levi’s® Stadium on August 27!

The After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour will kick off up north in The Weeknd’s hometown of Toronto on Friday, July 8th at the Rogers Centre, with stops at iconic U.S. stadiums including Levi’s ® Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Saturday, August 27th, and more, before wrapping Friday, September 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The tour is produced by Live Nation. This is the first leg of The Weeknd’s massive world tour, with additional dates in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa & Middle East to be announced soon.

Tickets for the North American dates go on sale beginning Thursday, March 10 th at 10am local time via TheWeeknd.com/tour .

All guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket, pass or credential to park in a designated parking lot. Please download prepaid parking passes ahead of time and add them to your mobile wallet for an expedited parking process. Day of parking will be available on a limited basis. Credit card payment only.

Accessible Parking Mobility Services will be onsite at 3:30pm to provide roving carts from the mobility kiosks in Red Lot 1.

Bicycle Parking Bicycle parking will be located outside Dignity Health Gate C and opens at 4:30pm.

Buses/Oversized Vehicles Buses/oversized vehicles must park in Blue RV and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Tailgating Tailgating is not permitted for this event.

• Guests should have their tickets ready to scan upon approaching the stadium entry gates.
• The ticket barcode must be visible no matter the ticket type.
• The Visa Box Office opens at 4:30pm and is located at the north end of the stadium inside Toyota Gate F. Walk-up tickets may also be available at the Visa Box Office.
• Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Your mobile ticket must be displayed on your phone to get into the event. 

Bag check services are no longer available . Only bags that comply with Levi’s® Stadium Clear Bag Policy will be allowed.

Levi’s® Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks and other carriers from being brought into the stadium with the following exceptions:

• One gallon clear plastic zip lock type bags

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

VTA will operate increased train service from Mountain View station (Caltrain transfer) and Milpitas station (BART transfer) two hours prior to event start. Post-event service will run for approximately 60 minutes post-event. For more information, please visit www.vta.org .

Guests heading to the concert can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail service to Levi’s Stadium. Capitol Corridor

The rideshare drop-off location at Levi’s® Stadium for this event will be on Great America Parkway, between Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. The pick-up zone is located in Red Lot 7. Follow signage and staff instructions for additional direction.

All accessible parking will be directed to Red Lot 1. Guests who possess a valid placard will be directed to park in this lot and must display their placard at the entrance to be admitted.

Of course, that song ended up being a true game-changer for the U.K. singer-songwriter, launching him on a career path that would result in fame, fortune and — on Saturday night (Sept. 16) — the single largest crowd ever to assemble at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

“It’s mad now to have 80,000 people singing (‘The A Team’) back to me,” remarked Sheeran, who said the he was informed by stadium officials prior to taking the stage that his show had set the all-time attendance record at the home of the San Francisco 49ers.

The previous record, in terms of concerts, was set in June 2015 by Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead, which featured surviving members of the Dead and other musicians long associated with the band and drew nearly 76,000 per night over two nights. WrestleMania, also from 2015, had held the overall single-event mark with about 77,000 in attendance — that is, until Sheeran swooped in and stamped his name on the record.

Compare those figures with what was seen with the two previous biggie shows at Levi’s in 2023 — Taylor Swift in July and Beyonce in August — which drew about 58,000 and 50,000, respectively. (Swift played two shows at the stadium, so her combined attendance was around 116,000.)

Anyway you slice it, the crowd that turned out for the Bay Area stop on Sheeran’s +–=÷× Tour (aka the Mathematics Tour) was absolutely massive — likely ranking among the biggest crowds to ever witness a non-festival concert in Bay Area history.

What makes the attendance figure even more incredible is that it wasn’t for some legendary rock band with a massive stage production like U2 or a superstar pop act like Beyonce, touring with backup dancers, costume changes and plenty of bells and whistles. Instead, it was mostly just a guy and his guitar, crooning through well-written songs in a way that would easily translate to a theater or club setting.

Indeed, Sheeran actually played a smaller venue gig at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Friday night and the musical experience probably wasn’t all that different than at Levi’s. The women’s bathroom lines, however, were probably a lot different.

Sheeran performed “in-the-round,” which meant fans could to be seated on all sides of the stadium and still see what was happening on the stage. That setup allows for far more tickets to be sold than what you get with a traditional setup, like Swift and Beyonce used, in which a huge stage is pushed to one side of the stadium floor, rendering renders thousands of seats unsellable.

Sheeran’s tour setup was quite utilitarian in design, offering little beyond a stage that rotated, as the singer himself put it, “like a giant lazy Susan,” so that fans could get different views throughout the night.

Sheeran stalked the stage like a cat in a cage, moving simply for moving’s sake, as he chatted up the crowd and sang all his biggest hits during roughly two hours and 15 minutes of stage time.

The show got off to quite an energetic start as Sheeran and his band members — each stationed on their own small satellite stages on the stadium floor — kicked off their set with “Tides” and then moved into a version of “Blow” that felt big and dramatic enough to be the show finale.

Then, just two songs into the set, Sheeran gave his fellow musicians a break and continued on solo. Yet, it sure didn’t sound like there was only one guy onstage, as Sheeran utilized his looping station to simulate a whole band’s worth of sounds.

Knowing that those who hadn’t seen him perform in concert before might be wondering what was going on, Sheeran took the time to explain how he was able to use his foot pedals to record multiple live samples — a quick guitar riff here, some hand percussion there, fresh layers of vocal melodies, etc. — and then loop it all together. The result came across like a mini-army of Sheerans working all at once to produce fully-fleshed-out band material.

Some of the best material of the night came during this solo segment — including stand-out versions of “Shivers” and “Castles on the Hill.”

Just as the solo act started to grow a bit tired, however, Sheeran called the rest of the bandmembers back to their individual stages and rolled through such fan favorites as “Galway Girl.”

“We are now entering into the part of the gig where the real sing-alongs begin,” said Sheeran, who was wearing a Santa Clara T-shirt. “Santa Clara, if you don’t know the words to this next song then you are at the wrong concert.”

Apparently, everyone was indeed at the right concert because they all knew the words to “Thinking Out Loud,” and they’d prove it as Sheeran performed the number with his band. Then it was time for more solo work, as the star delivered some of his most poignant material of the night — including a version of his best song, the gorgeous love tune “Photograph.”

Sheeran closed the show with “Afterglow” before making his return — in a 49ers shirt — for an encore that included “Shape of You.”
