Great - better rate

I have been going overseas for years / decades. No-one ever told me you can order Cash online and get a better rate. By ordering online I received a 4% better rate. I will do this every time from now on.

Superb service at Karrinyup WA by Crystal

Superb service at Karrinyup WA by Crystal. Had to buy several currencies, small notes, varying amounts for kids heading overseas soon. They had exactly what I was after, and Crystal was so helpful explaining the different ways to pay, and (was not aware) that a credit card would count it as a cash advance, so would charge interest straight away. She could not have been any more friendly or helpful to me, and this branch will be my new go-to for any buy or sell foreign currency.

Simple, easy and transperant

Ordering an online foreign currency delivery at a competitive rate was simple, easy and transparent. There was a hiccup with delivery via the 3rd party service but Lily from the Travel Money Oz team was very helpful delivered a quick resolution. I couldn't ask for a better service and will use them again when needed.

Amazingly Awesome

Friendly, professional, organised. Rang to advise I was about to make a purchase for money exchange, question if I was able to get this in smaller notes, was advised that this would not be a problem, can exchange when at the shop for what I required. Extortionists

These 'ladies' charged over $250 more than the other currency exchange I used that same morning for the same amount of currency converted. Jokes on me for going near Travel Money Oz. When confronted about paying close to 8% more than I should have to use their service they brushed me off and said it was normal practice. Absolutely gobsmacked they can steal so much money for a sub-par service. No clear communication about their dirty exchange rate practices, beware!

A five star experience

Whenever I travel, either here in Australia or overseas ( recent trip to the US) I always use my Travel Money Oz card. Easy to use, super reliable, hassle free transactions. Also, the iPhone app and website are easy to navigate. Don’t go here, arrogant, rude staff

Just got off the representative for the Moonee ponds store, who was the most arrogant, discourteous, rude and unprofessional person. This store won’t last if that’s a reflection of quality of staff they have. Hopefully they did record the conversation for training purposes as this member of staff needs. Don’t go there!!!!!

I have found Travel Money Oz to be an excellent company to deal with. I have no problems with rates when traveling overseas. Thank you for looking after me. Last travelled approx August 2023 To New Zealand. Earlier travels have been to France Belgium Scotland and England. Plus I use the card here in Australia.

Riverlink Branch of Travel Money Oz

Staff at the Riverlink Branch of Travel Money Oz were able to take and exchange money from a trip to Vanuatu. Other institutions I had tried just simply turned me away without a glimmer of help. Staff member was super efficient in sorting my query and even offered advice for future transactions. Time positive as well. That's why I will continue to use Travel Money Oz.

Beware, try the competitors first

Not happy at all with a recent transaction with Travel Oz Money Received a lot of unwelcome advice ,I have travelled before Exchange rate on XPF was particularly poor could only get 100K at 53.69 to AU Went next door to Travelex and got another 100K at 61.25 to AU Granted XPF is not a common currency so beware I recommend shopping around as OZ does not offer ta reasonable rate

Unfair- greedy company

Companies charge me interest when Im loaned thousands of dollars, what gives them the right to charge additional fees to do a currency exchange from there slow application. You can invest the thousdands I put in your accout. Voucher codes with your money? What saving on what you've saved? Ridiculous. Cards unreliable aswell.

After I received cash from the kiosk at…

After I received cash from the kiosk at Knox City, I went past another brand of cash exchange kiosk and they had a better rate for $CA. I had been told that the Travel Money Oz kiosk was offering the best deal there was. Otherwise the card worked well for us.

Amazing Service from Ryan at Runaway Bay Yesterday. He was very busy but took the time help me decide how much I would need and then to explain to me what each note in Thailand would be worth in Australian so I knew how much I was spending. So patient and never stopped smiling. Will always come back here

TMO - use it in place of an Oyster card!

I recently travelled to London, and used my Travel Money Oz card while I was over there.A couple of things I loved - it was super easy to check my account balance via the app, and we were able to use it to tap on/off instead of buying an oyster card for the tube.

It was so much easier especially when…

It was so much easier especially when you can purchased in the dollars of the country you are travelling The only issue for me was When I transferred money on a Friday it didn’t come through till late Monday I have transferred back To Aussie dollars on Monday about 9Pm and am waiting for this to happen, it is now 24 hours later not sure how long this takes to happen You also don’t answer emails sent to you. I sent to and still no reply

The employee who served me was helpful…

The employee who served me was helpful and informative. The only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is because one of the $5US notes she gave me was very old and tatty with a tear. No one would accept it. I didn’t notice at the time as I’m not familiar with US dollars but in future I will be more careful about inspecting the notes given. Most businesses will not accept old or torn notes.

The Winners and Losers After a Major Review of Royal Warrants

King Charles and Queen Camilla have announced which companies they have awarded their warrants to.

Buckingham Palace has announced that the warrants held by Charles when he was Prince of Wales have been reviewed and that 145 of the businesses will continue to hold warrants from him as King. Of those, seven have also been given a second warrant from Camilla in her new position as a warrant-granter.

However, not all of the companies Charles endorsed as a Prince have stayed on his list. And companies that were previously endorsed only by Queen Elizabeth are still waiting to find out in a separate review what will happen with those warrants.

The businesses that Buckingham Palace chose to highlight in its announcement this week included Camel Valley vineyard in Cornwall. They produce English sparkling wines and have received warrants from both the King and the Queen. Small Welsh knitwear manufacturer Corgi Hosiery, specialist calligrapher London Scribes, tree-growers Barcham Trees, and first aid supplier Wallace Cameron International were all cited by the Palace as having the King’s warrant.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, recognized by both the monarch and his wife is Mayfair grocery store Fortnum & Mason . "To receive a Royal Warrant in 2024 requires a rigorous focus on acting for a sustainable future, supporting the country’s rural and farming communities and protecting the arts and heritage crafts,” their CEO Tom Athron said, touching on the idea that this criteria has become increasingly vital in the new reign.

Indeed, a report in the Mail on Sunday this weekend cited co-owner of Aberdeenshire butcher HM Sheridan, John Sinclair, who had lost his warrant from Charles. He is waiting to find out what will happen with the warrant he has from Queen Elizabeth. “Maybe it's because we're not fully organic,” he was quoted by the newspaper as saying after expressing his disappointment. The newspaper also reported that car manufacturers Vauxhall has lost its warrant and so has gas supplier Calor.

The full list of the 145 companies is on the website of the Royal Warrant Holders Association . It includes British fashion brands Burberry and Barbour as well as jewelers Cartier and car manufacturers Jaguar Land Rover. Photographer Hugo Burnand, who took the official coronation images , also retains his warrant.
