Well maintained even though the rooms were a bit tired. But there are plans to update the rooms soon. Really nice staff. Having three pools was great. Kids had a great time. And all the adults had a relaxing time. Staff kept the hotel clean.

Stayed there before so was a return guest I enjoy the facilities and the all inclusive options

The staff were fantastic…courteous, helpful and friendly. The room we had directly overlooked the sea, and was in a very peaceful area of the hotel. The meals were excellent, whether in the main buffet area or in the Italian or Seafood restaurants The number of large swimming pools was excellent. You could always find one to fit your mood - peaceful, beachfront relaxing or fun with pool games.

From the time of entering this resort, we were received with a very warm welcome. The staff were extremely friendly. Amina helped me arrange a surprise 50th Birthday dinner for my husband, and I honestly could not fault this. The resort and the surprise dinner exceeded my expectations and the staff made our stay enjoyable. I would especially like to give a shout out to Amina, Cliff, Japhether, Joseph, Margaret, George, and Yvonne. Also Lillian in the Salon and Alice who chauffeured us each time we left the resort. Our room was cleaned daily by George with fresh towels, bedding and toiletries each day.

3rd time at the hotel and generally happy. Good location, decent food and facilities. Rooms are a bit aged but decent. An onsite gym would be very handy and it would be ideal if they could clear the sea weed. But all in all very happy

I booked a Sea View room for my parents as their Wedding Anniversary was coming up through Agoda. Upon arrival, it took the staff almost two hours to just confirm if the booking was legit/available. Luckily I requested my brother to go there and assist them. They finally confirmed and got them another room, which was much smaller. I’m just glad they enjoyed their stay and ate delicious food while being properly entertained. I would recommend this highly, but will urge anyone to get the booking confirmation on email but also from them directly through call to allow for easy check-in.

My Fiancé and I visited Voyager Beach resort in Mombasa. Our trip was fantastic. All the staff at the hotel was friendly. When we arrive the guard at the gate, blow a horn and said the queen has arrived. I felt very special. When I arrive at the front desk, the staff was kind and helpful. I was exhausted from my long trip, and they made sure I had something to drink and was conformable until my room was ready. The guy that took me to my room give me a lot of information on the resort, someone also called my room during the day to make sure everything was ok. Later on that day and for the rest of our trip we went to the main restaurant where we ate many mouthwatering dishes and I must say my fiancé, and I fell in love with everyone that we meet and everyone that serve us at the restaurant. The service was wonderful and the personality of each individual was AMAZING!!!. The food was delicious, and the staff was warm and caring. We also visited the seafood restaurant. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and varied food, the buffets catered for everyone needs including lots of options. Good location on the beach. 3 swimming pools. Well maintained property and gardens. Close to shopping centres, Haller park and Mombasa town is about 20 mins drive (if there are no traffic issues). Kids club and lots of activities for adults too. Cons: Unreliable WiFi connection. We stayed in April 2017 and it was much better than in December 2017. No gym whatsoever although you can use the neighbouring hotels for a fee. More seafood dishes would be appreciated.

Cruise Ship Experience on land”

The Voyager Beach Resort models itself as a cruise ship on land, and does a good job setting that environment. The variety of food is almost overwhelming - but nearly all are delicious! The beach access opens to a small, semi-private beach which doesn't feel too crowded. If there are any issues, security is available all around the resort. Overall, the resort does a good job to emulate the feel. Staff is very friendly, but most of all - the food was delicious!
