Meet with ATT Oman representative at Tbilisi international airport & transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 2 Tbilisi city tour

Breakfast at the hotel and at 10:00 starts the Tbilisi city tour. You will have a wonderful trip in the capital city of Georgia. During the trip, you will visit some historical and architectural monuments of Tbilisi. First stop will be Sameba Cathedral – the highest cathedral in Caucasus. Next, you will visit Metekhi church, erected on the cliff above the river Mtkvari. Here you will have the possibility to enjoy panoramic views of Old Tbilisi. Afterward leave to visit famous Sulfur baths and by the cableway reach medieval centuries fortress named Narikala, which stands on the rocky cliff and overlooks Tbilisi. After wandering around the ortress, visit famous Shardeni street, where are located cozy café and restaurants. At the end of the trip, you will visit Freedom Square and enjoy the evening walk on Rustaveli avenue. 17:00 Back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 Tbilisi-Ananuri- Kazbegi- Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel and meet the guide at 09:00 at the hotel reception.

This day you will visit mountain region of Georgia named Kazbegi. The road to Kazbegi goes through the Georgian Military Road, which runs between Georgia and Russia. On the way to Kazbegi, you will stop at Ananuri fortress (XIII C) which overlooks Jinvali water reservoir and creates incredible views of the colorful area. Through the Cross pass, arrival in small village Kazbegi, in highlands of Georgia. One of the most remarkable destination of this region is holy Sameba Trinity church, erected on the southern slope of Mount Kazbek. The Church is located at a height of 2200 m above sea level, and provides a beautiful view of Mount Kazbek. Holy trinity church accompanying with snow-peaked mount Mkinvartsveri (5047 m) creates an amazing view and considering as a symbol of this region. Next destination is Darial Gorge, located on the border between Russia and Georgia. At the end of the trip drive to Tbilisi. 19:00 Check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

5 Days Across the Georgia

We enjoyed our tour and were really pleased that it went ahead even though we were the only ones that booked, so it turned into a private tour. A great selection of locations visited. It did involve quite a lot of driving but we did enjoy being at the same hotel. Hotel was lovely, not the best location but paid for the price. 10 minute walk from the Metro. Our tour guide was a unique person, very friendly and enthusiastic with a LOT of energy. We did find that it was a bit intense being on a private tour with him and he would be better suited to leading a group tour. We had to ask for free time at the sites. Overall he is a good guy and did share lots of interesting history, he had the best suggestions for where to eat and took us to an amazing winery and adapted the tour to our desires. Definitely recommend this as a good tour for exploring Georgia.

I really enjoyed this tour. It took us to Mtskheta, Kazbegi (Stepanmintsda) and the Kakheeti region. It was an intense 4 days, full of learning, discovery and amazing natural sights (mountains, rivers, streams, reservoirs etc...) and of course countless churches and monasteries. Our guide, Mr Paata made it an exceptional tour. A kind, knowledgeable and friendly man, he made sure we enjoyed the tour, adjusted it to our needs and offered suggestions on what to do and where to stay for the rest of my trip. Paata made this tour much more pleasant & memorable. Madloba Paata! I really fell in love with this beautiful country, so small yet so packed with history, natural beauty and exceptionally warm people.

Everything has gone in the best way: good hotels, comfortable car, good driver Mr. Robert for transfer from airport, excellent guides: Ms Giuli for Tbilisi and especially Mr Temor, for the rest of the tour, who was very capable in explaining us many things about the country, was always helpful and has given us excellent restaurant recommendations. The itinerary is well organized and is useful to give an idea of the country. There was no mishap or unexpected. Keep in mind that if you want you can ask to replace the hotels proposed in the program.

The whole tour was great and enjoyable. I originally thought that it would be a group tour but ended up as a private tour. I was able to visit and see different places at my own pace. I didn’t have to think of others, nor rush visiting any places we've been to. Levan, my guide, was great and vey kind. He was chill the whole time. There was no pressure on going somewhere or doing activities on the places we visited. He usually brief me of the things that we’ll be doing for the day and asked me if there’s anything I want or don’t want to visit. He knows how to read the room. He chitchat and joke around when I’m up for it and leave me alone when I’m not in the mood to talk. Most of all, he let me sleep. For someone who’s been sleep deprived, the last thing I need is a super chatty guide. I also learned a lot of things from him about Georgian culture and history. Thank you Glad Travel! 10:00 starting the tour

Starting the tour from the Holy Trinity Cathedral commonly known as Sameba Cathedral. Built in 2004, Sameba is the highest church in Georgia, it is 101m tall.

Then we move forward to the old city, starting with the most famous areas called Abanotubani (area of the baths). Here we will visit the below landmarks:

Abanotubani – the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulfuric baths.

Leghvtakhevi waterfall which is 22 meters tall. The name Leghvtakhevi comes from Georgian word "Leghvi" which means fig.

Narikala Fortress – you can notice this place from many sides of Tbilisi. Overlooking the Mtkvari River, Narikala offers stunning views on the city. You can enjoy a cable car ride to or from the area of Narikala.

Kartlis Deda (the mother of Georgia) – proudly overlooking the city, 20m aluminum woman is the symbol of the city

Then we continue to explore the city on the other side of the river:

Metekhi – historical neighborhood of Tbilisi, located on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari River.

Rike Park – one of the newest parks located in the heart of Tbilisi. It leads us to the famous – Bridge of Peace - bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi.

Once we take lots of pictures and enjoy the area of old town, we drive to Mtatsminda Park.

Mtatsminda Park is an amusement facility located atop Mount Mtatsminda on 770 meter height overlooking the Georgian capital Tbilisi. It is the highest point in Tbilisi. Located on more than 100 hectares. Park has more than 100 year’s history. Mtatsminda Park is the most popular theme park in Tbilisi.

Lunch during this tour can be planned upon wish and preference of the guests

Once the program is finished, the driver will leave you in the city or drop back to the hotel

Departure to Caucasus region

Drive to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir.

Drive further to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for keeping different colors even after they merge. After a short stop at Soviet time “People’s Friendship” mountain view point, at about 12:30 you will reach Gudauri, the mountain ski resort on southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains at the height of 2000 m above sea level.

Place offers a cable car; where you will enjoy the views of the skiing slopes and snowy mountains.

The place offers sleds rental and professional instructor services.

Tour will be finished around 18:00
