Getting Around Boston: MBTA "T" Subway System & More
Subway Lines: The T consists of five separate lines, each of which connects at several locations within the city. The Green Line began as America's first underground subway system in 1897. Today, the line consists of four separate branches (be sure to get on the right one). The other lines are the Red Line, Blue Line, Orange Line and Silver Line.
July Service Changes: MBTA Continues Repair Work to Improve Reliability
As previously announced, Red Line service will be suspended between Alewife and Kendall/MIT every day for 16 days from July 13-28.On weekends and on weekday evenings starting at approximately 8:30 PM through the end of service, the service suspension will be extended to Park Street (meaning Red Line service will be suspended between Alewife and Park Street).

The MBTA Trip Planner does not accurately weigh the cost of transfers, imho, along with not giving preference to higher frequency routes. Google Maps and Apple Maps are touch and go on it, but I'd recommend using something like the Transit App or CityMapper for transit directions. They tend to perform better, but the walk times are so-so. Reply.

The trip planner feature says to take the Silver line to the Red line to the Green line. The maps show that the Blue line goes from Airport to Government Center where I should be able to pick up the Green C line. If I use the trip planner from the Airport stop on the Blue line to Cleveland Circle, it claims there is no route.
