Service was fantastic. Food is awful. You can smell their fresh fish’ black away. Absolutely beautiful dining room with the worst food. Hot food is cold, cold food was hot. Just off a 14 Day Silver Muse Cruise from Melbourne AU to Auckland, NZ. Weather was good (not great) and par for the course, the Tasman gave us a little bit of bad weather thus we missed Bluff NZ, our second port of call. We booked this back-to-back (31 day) cruise over a year ago. The itinerary took us to ports we’d never been before - Madagascar, Mauritius, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai - and we’d had such a wonderful experience on the Moon a year ago that we were looking forward to a repeat, which of course did not happen. Thought Silversea's was a high end cruise line. Veteran cruiser with many trips on Oceania, Princes,and many other lines. First: disappointing customer service. The most disappointing and dreadful cruise I have ever had. We booked six ports. Received four. There was hardly any time at all on land. Most of our holiday was stuck on the ship with very little entertainment and no enhancement relevant to Africa. The food was poor to average. This is our second Silverseas cruise with the first being July 2023. The first cruise was an expedition cruise around the Kimberley region and was fabulous.
