Five Easy Steps To Make great 4K Travel Walking Tour Videos

Last Updated on March 22, 2024 by gregor

4K Walking Tour Videos are gaining more and more popularity on video-sharing platforms like the popular video platform YouTube . I watched some of these Walking Tour videos because they were recommended to me, and as someone who really likes walking tours, I decided to try making one video myself.

My first 4k Walking Tour video(s) turned out badly. They were either too bright or too dark or kept constantly refocusing.,
They went straight into the trash on my computer. It was a little frustrating, but obviously, I’m not going to be perfect on my first try.

I was out again, trying different cameras and different settings, and after a few walks, figuring out what is the best camera for Walking Tour and what are the best camera video settings for filming this kind of 4k Walking Tour videos.

A 4K walk video often showcases a walking tour or journey filmed using a camera capable of recording in 4K resolution. These videos aim to provide viewers with a more immersive and visually stunning experience, as the higher resolution allows for greater detail, sharpness, and overall image quality. The term is commonly associated with content creators who produce walking tours or vlogs filmed in 4K resolution to offer a more lifelike and engaging viewing experience.

5 easy Steps to Make 4k Travel Walking Tour Videos

Ready to share your travel adventures with the world in amazing 4K quality? Here’s a super simple guide to creating captivating walking tour videos:

Step 1: Gear Up (Equipment)

  • Camera:  While a fancy camera is great, you can start with a smartphone that shoots in 4K. Many modern phones offer fantastic video quality.
  • Stabilizer:  Shaky footage is a no-go. Invest in a gimbal (a small handheld stabilizer) for smooth, professional-looking shots.
  • External Microphone (optional):  Built-in mics can pick up unwanted noise. An external mic improves audio quality, especially in windy or crowded areas.

Step 2: Plan Your Route (Pre-Production)

  • Pick a theme:  Focus on a specific area or highlight hidden gems.
  • Map your walk:  Plan your route beforehand, considering interesting sights and stops.
  • Research local tips:  Learn some fun facts or historical tidbits to share with viewers.

Step 3: Hit the Streets (Filming)

  • Walk at a steady pace:  People watching your video will be virtually walking with you, so maintain a comfortable speed.
  • Narrate as you go:  Share your thoughts, interesting facts, or personal anecdotes about the places you pass.
  • Capture variety:  Don’t just film straight ahead. Get close-up shots of landmarks, interesting details, and even food!

Step 4: Editing Magic (Post-Production)

  • Editing software:  There are many free and paid editing programs available. Choose one that’s user-friendly for you.
  • Cut and trim:  Remove unwanted footage or long pauses. Keep your video engaging and concise.
  • Add music and text:  Upbeat background music and titles/captions enhance your video and keep viewers informed.

Step 5: Share Your Adventure (Distribution)

  • YouTube:  A popular platform for travel videos. Create a channel and upload your masterpiece!
  • Social Media:  Share your video on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms.
  • Travel Blogs:  If you have one, add your video to your blog to showcase your destinations.

Bonus Tip: Be yourself and have fun! Let your personality shine through, and your passion for travel will be contagious!

Videos with 4K Quality

A 4K walk typically refers to a walking video or footage that has been recorded and produced in 4K resolution. In the context of video resolution, 4K refers to a display or content with a horizontal pixel count of approximately 4,000 pixels, providing higher image clarity and detail compared to lower resolutions.

A “4K walk” video often showcases a walking tour or journey filmed using a camera capable of recording in 4K resolution.

4k Walking Tour video cameras:

Dji pocket 2 + creator combo.

Camera settings (they are overall easy to find in the app and in the menu)

Image Quality: 4K

Frame rates:

  • – 25 or 50 (for slow-motion only – to be slowed down 50% when editing): for Europe (PAL in general)
  • – 24 or 48 (for slow-motion only – to be slowed down 50% when editing): for US (NTCS in general)

Personally live in Europe and I slow down everything that I shoot, only sometimes do I keep a normal speed, so my go rate is 50fps. Slowing down the video gives it a more magical look and will reduce the shakes from the camera

Antiflicker : auto

you need to set it before activating pro mode!

Pro mode: enabled

This will give you access to manual settings of exposure

Color profile : d-cine like

Note: only if you plan to color grade in the post (which I highly recommend), if not then stick to the standard

Shutter speed/ISO:

I always set it to Auto . You could fine-tune by setting it manually, but the AUTO Mode on the DJI is pretty amazing.

White Balance: AUTO

I am so far happy to shoot with continuous autofocus, but be aware that it sometimes fails and you will need to point to the subject you want to have in focus.

The Sennheiser Microphone is a perfect companion, not only for your DLSR. With the GoPro MediaMod, you can set up the GoPro 10 with the Sennheiser MKE 400 within a couple of minutes. If you are really serious about your audio quality it is a very good investment.  #mke400

Pre-Walking Tour Preparation

Preparation is the mother of success! This is also related to the making of 4K Walking Tour Videos.

Define your Storyline for the Audience

Before you even select the walking route, I am really trying to find a good storyline for the audience, which I am going to tell as an overall “arching theme” for the walk. As we all know, telling a story is much more captive than just wandering around without any “preparation & plan”. (Which I did at the beginning, to be honest;-

Here are some examples of 4k Walking Tour Video Storylines

  • Vienna Night Walking Tour – Top things to see at night
  • Berlin – Walking Tour if you just have 4 Hours to spend
  • Budapest Travel Guide – Must See Places Walking Tour
  • Vienna Food Walking Tour

Find the Best Places that set your Walking Tour Video Screenplay

So once you have your “story” you want to tell, then you need to find the best places, spots, and areas,
Which do you want to be included in the walking video? Sometimes the story can be “Greatest Public Parks to Relax in XXXX” or just “An After Business sunset walk”. This story sets your screenplay and the frame you need to plan the walk accordingly.

Video elements that will support your Walking Tour Video Story

If you know you’ll be visiting the St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, for example, you’ll want more than just a video from the top. Here’s an example of supporting walking tour video elements you might make for this specific experience:

  • Establishing shot of the St. Stephen’s Cathedral from the street (Push in)
  • Shot of the base of the St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Rise up)
  • Shot of purchasing your ticket (Over shoulder camera)
  • Shot of taking the elevator to the top (Push in)
  • Panning shot from the top overlooking Vienna

Pin the places in Google MAPS to create the Walking Tour

Once I have my story I create a tour on Google Maps, pinning all the places I intend to visit during my walk.

Top Tip: Please make sure you plan enough time for your tour, get comfortable clothes and shoes, your gear with enough spare batteries (for the GoPro), and most importantly get into a good positive energetic mood, you will need that believe me 😉

Video Walking Tour – Tips and Tricks

Get out of your comfort zone.

Filming videos on the street requires a bit of courage at the beginning. Especially if you are a bit introverted like me, it took a couple of walks until I realized that the vast majority of the people actually don’t care about your video recording on the street.

Very few people stare at you, so give them a bright smile, or simply ignore them. I never had anybody complaining or even yelling at me. It helps if you respect their privacy and do not run with the video camera explicitly into a person, but take a step or move left or right so you can record other interesting sceneries like beautiful architecture.

There is also an easy way to blur people’s faces in post-editing your video. (More below in the Editing section)

Walking Tour Video Speed

The walking speed is important because you want to be able to see things that you’re not familiar with. The walker may have been through that area time and time again, but you haven’t.  Keep in mind that the speed of the walk also relates directly to the smoothness of the camera, as I mentioned above.

Video moves : I use during my walk

  • Push in – walk towards the scene – good entry move to establish location and show landscape
  • Pull out – walk away from the scene – good exit move to close the shooting from the scene
  • Round – use active track and move around the person or subject
  • Rise up – show scenery and subject
  • Reveal – show subject, from the other object – good for transitions
  • Tilt-up / down – use for anything interesting above the scene, like trees
  • Low mode – shoot for example the foot of a person while walking on the beach

How do you film a smooth walking Video?

Walk slowly and bend your knees slightly. Keep concentration high, and use the Highest Stabilization settings on your camera

FOUR – Walking Tour Video Editing & Software

There are many Video Editing Programs on the market. Editing my Walking Tour videos, I use the software program Final Cut Pro X which runs on macOS only. There are many alternatives also for Windows, if you search on Google, I am sure you will find the one that fits your needs; including tons of Tutorial Videos on YouTube.

Blurring People Faces in post-editing

The one thing special to walking tour videos is that you also capture people and want to protect their privacy by blurring their faces. Here is a video that shows you how to do this in Final Cut Pro X

EASIEST Way To Blur Faces | Final Cut Pro X Tutorial

FIVE -SHARING Your Walking Tour Video on YouTube

I upload my walking tour videos on my Gregor Sideris YouTube Channel . There are other video-sharing Platforms like Vimeo, but I think YouTube is vastly accepted and billions of people have access to it.

Creating your own YouTube Channel is easy, there are a lot of tutorial videos available on YT.

What is a virtual tour.

A virtual tour is an online experience to tour or view space, property, vehicle, showroom, commercial property, in a interactive 360Âș or 3D environment.  It’s an online way to walk through a tour or go to a location physically.

There are different types of virtual tours. First, we have the "360 virtual tour." A 360 virtual tour is series of 360 photos placed together in a connected series so a viewer can navigate and view a space immersively. You can look fully up, fully down, and rotate your way into scenes

Next, the 2D virtual tour. With CloudPano, you can place 2D or still images and create a 2D virtual tour. Thumbnails will be replaced with 2D still images.

Anim pariatur cliche reprehenderit, enim eiusmod high life accusamus terry richardson ad squid. 3 wolf moon officia aute, non cupidatat skateboard dolor brunch. Food truck quinoa nesciunt laborum eiusmod. Brunch 3 wolf moon tempor, sunt aliqua put a bird on it squid single-origin coffee nulla assumenda shoreditch et.

Lastly, is the 3D tour. Sometimes, 3D just means it's a synonym or equivalent to 360. Sometimes it means that there is a 3D model involved in that 3D tour technology. On CloudPano, you can upload a 3D model dollhouse views and CloudPano can even take the 360 virtual tour and create a 3D model for you. You can connect each room and navigate the space in full 3D.

What is a 360Âș virtual tour?

A 360 virtual tour platform is where you can create 360 experiences of real estate, vehicles, RV, builder homes, 3D models, etc. You can do a lot of really cool things, and basically, 360 virtual tours are marketing tools. You can create immersive experiences. If you have a nursing home and you want to create a virtual tour, if you have a multi-family property you can create a virtual tour, and help pre-lease it or pre-sell it before someone comes to the location.

This helps the buyers, renters, or the people looking to make a transaction and have full awareness of what is here what it looks like and be able to make an educated decision.  That's what a 360 virtual tour is, it's a series of three 360 photos gathered together. You can customize the names of the images, you can customize the theme and the skin of how it looks. You can connect them via hotspots and add info spots. What you need to do is, upload 360 photos, organize them, click publish, and now you have a virtual tour!

What is a 3D virtual tour?

In this video, I'm going to highlight what a 3D virtual tour is. It's totally okay to consider 360 a kind of 3D because it is in a sense you can move up and down and it has more kind of dimensions to it.

3D models that are created, are oftentimes associated with 3D floor plans that look like on the video. This is created from this home. It’s a 3D floor plan. And as I drag it left and right the home and move around, I'll have a full understanding or a full feel for what does the house really looks like.

You can create the 3D model easily on CloudPano. Literally, just take some photos of the interior of a space, say it's a real estate home. You capture all of the locations or all the rooms, you have them taken at the same height of your monopod or on your camera stand.

You can just have our team build these 3D models for you and in a couple of days later, you'll have a 3D model built and you can deliver that to your clients for their marketing purposes.

What is a 360Âș image?

A 360 image is a 2:1 photo. The X-axis is two times as long as the Y-axis and that makes the shape of the photo equirectangular. It is basically a 360 fully immersive photo.

In the video, Zach shows a sample of a 360 image. The carpet looks really bent and weird. The couch and skyline are kind of flaring out and even the table looks like it's bent and strange-looking. This is not how the room actually looks. It is a 360 photo of that room. So what you need to do is, upload the room photo to CloudPano. The app centralizes the viewer, wraps that photo around the viewer, so that you can see a 360 photo. Then you’d get the full immersive view of what that room looks like. You can capture all types, different cameras in photo processes, but the easiest way is with a 360 camera.  Also, there’s a free app on the Apple app store for CloudPano and you can create them from your iPhone.

How do you photograph a 360 image?

Learn how to shoot a 360 virtual tour.

When shooting a 360 virtual tour, it's best if you first walk around the entire home. Then make sure to maximize the light by keeping blinds and lightings open. Also, make sure there are no greater movements, such as flipping the drawer before you start.

Next, firmly place your 360 camera onto the stand and make sure everything's tight and not too loose. Turn on the camera and check if you are in the right setting to shoot an optimal 360 tour. Place the camera in the center of the room and make sure it has always the same height.  A timer is suggested to delay the shot for 5 to 10 seconds and allowing you to leave the room and hide.  Once the photo has been, taken you can now proceed to the next room. After shooting, put them on the computer, connect them, and start creating your beautiful virtual tour.

How to create a 360 virtual tour from your phone?

Taking 360 photos is now quick and easy without unnecessary hardware needed. It is all on your phone using Cloudpano mobile application. You can use it hands-free and with a rotator to get the best 360 photos you possibly can.

The CloudPano camera app is currently available on the iOS operating system. Download the app in the app store and once downloaded, you may proceed to capture 360 photos . When you click on the top right it will give you detailed instructions on how to use the app.

While capturing, The Yin and Yang or circle puzzle pieces you see on the screen must come together to create a portion of the photo. When they close, pause, and wait for the capture to complete. Repeat the process until you have captured the entire room. Your output will appear immediately on the screen. You may upload these to app.cloudpano.com and start creating your virtual tour .

How to create walkthrough virtual tours with your 360 virtual tour software?

Natural Movement Navigation aligns the initial heading in a scene to match the heading from the previous scene. For natural movement navigation to work, don’t forget to set the North Point of all your photos.

How to Set Up Automatic Walkthrough Navigation On Your Virtual Tour Software

  • Login to app.cloudpano.com
  • Go to Settings> Navigation tab>Change Navigation mode>Click the drop-down bar and pick your Navigation setup

Aside from Natural Movement, we also have other two navigation modes: Initial view navigation and Hybrid movement navigation. Initial View navigation ensures the user always looks at the same initial view of a scene, no matter where they come from. This view is great for ensuring each scene always opens with the user facing in a certain direction. This is CloudPano`s classic navigation. Hybrid Movement Navigation allows the user to combine the two modes together. If the user comes to the scene through the hotspot, mode Natural Movement Navigation is used. But if the user comes to the scene through the UI Ribbon, then the Initial View Navigation is used. This can give users the best of both worlds.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Virtual Home Tour

The COVID-19 economy has pumped up consumer demand for virtual home tours. These presentations, created using 360-degree and 3D tour technology, provide an immersive experience for viewing homes while limiting in-person contact.

Virtual tours give buyers a perspective on the home’s layout and flow that can’t be achieved with still photos, says consultant Jeff Turner of Santa Clarita, Calif. The tours help buyers weed out houses that are in their price range but that don’t fit their style, says Turner, a consultant to virtual-tour provider Immoviewer and entrepreneur in residence at Second Century Ventures and Reach , the National Association of REALTORS¼’ strategic investment arm and award-winning technology accelerator. “Consumers are hungry for the opportunity to have a better online shopping experience, and to me, that’s the promise of 3D, 360-degree virtual tours.”

Data shows that virtual tours drive sales, says Amir Frank, a content manager at Matterport in Sunnyvale, Calif. Matterport studied MLS transaction data from the South, Southwest, Northwest, and Midwest from November 2016 to November 2019. The results showed listings with a 3D tour sold for up to 9% more and closed up to 31% faster than listings without them.

The cost and complexity of virtual tour technology have come down in recent years, making these tours more accessible for real estate professionals. To help you create exceptional virtual home tours, here’s a step-by-step guide to gathering equipment; preparing to shoot and edit the photos; uploading and editing the images; creating the tour from walkthrough to exit on an online platform; and publishing and marketing the tours.

Step 1: Choose Your Equipment and Platform

“We’re in the golden age of 360-degree cameras,” says Turner. “I’ve got within my grasp, right now, six different 360 cameras. All cost between $250 and $500. The cost shouldn’t be a barrier for anyone who’s doing any volume of home sales. I have a 3,400-square-foot house here in Southern California, and I can capture and turn this into a usable tour in less than 20 minutes.

“These are one-click tools,” he adds. “You don’t have to focus them. And the quality of these low-cost cameras has been improving over time dramatically.”

“To shoot a 2,000-square-foot home, it takes this [Ricoh Theta V] between five and 10 minutes,” agrees Peter Schravemade of Maroochydore, Queensland, in Australia, relationship manager for Box Brownie, a company that offers turnkey photo editing, virtual tours, and other services for real estate pros.

Besides its affordability and speed, says Schravemade, the Ricoh camera allows you to “bracket” to create the best possible images. Bracketing means taking the same photo multiple times, each with a different exposure, which helps ensure your tour includes exceptional interior and exterior views. He recommends shooting from three to five different exposures, then editing them together to create a bracketed image.

Matterport’s higher price results from its function as both a camera and a scanner, taking 360-degree tour photos, then creating a dollhouse-like floor plan. The floor plan is the major advantage, says Bill Lublin, CEO of Century 21 Advantage Gold in Philadelphia. Using the “dollhouse” format, viewers can go from room to room easily. However, it takes one to two hours to upload the Matterport tour, so it’s a slower process than what the Ricoh products offer.

Whatever 360-degree camera you use, you’ll also have to download a smartphone app or invest in a hosting platform for your tours. You’ll upload your photos to that platform for storing, editing, and sharing.

Step 2: Organize Photography, Lighting, and Camera Placement

Before you start shooting, open your photography app or hosting platform, and then place your 360-degree camera on your tripod. “I like to take photos exactly how I would move through a house,” says Turner, “starting with the exterior.” Take one photo from across the street and another in the front yard. Photograph both sides of the house if there’s room for your gear; then move around the house, and capture the backyard. When you’ve finished shooting the exterior, open the front door and photograph the entryway. Before taking interior shots, open doors and turn on all the lights. Open blinds and curtains, unless the view detracts from the image. “Then navigate through the house and take photos, as many as is necessary to allow people to flow through it.”

Inside, place the tripod in the center of each room with the camera set at eye height, above furniture and countertops. Then leave the room to take the photo using the smartphone app. You can take one photo per room, unless you’re bracketing your exposures or the size of the room requires more. Large rooms may need two or three images from different positions.

A Matterport camera requires a different workflow. The camera scans every corner of the room, creating a 3D dollhouse-like floor plan. Frank suggests starting at the lowest level and working your way up. Position the camera to take shots from the center of hallways and at each room’s entryway. Then put your Matterport camera in each corner of the room to create a feel for room size; the number of photos will assist the software as it forms the 3D dollhouse model.

Step 3: Upload the Tour

There are hundreds of 360-degree tour providers and hosting platforms, including Matterport, Ricoh360 Tours, Ogulo, Immoviewer, Box Brownie, Giraffe360, and EyeSpy360, says Schravemade. Many have apps that upload your photos as you take them. Editing tools on many of the platforms will stitch your images together for a seamless tour experience.

Costs vary by platform and complexity. Immoviewer has a subscription model that runs from $69 per month for five active tours to $159 per month for 20. Box Brownie uses a pay-as-you-go model in which a tour with up to 15 photos costs $16, one with 16 to 25 photos costs $24; options for image enhancement start at $1.60, and 360-degree virtual staging is priced at $64. The more complex Matterport tours fall in the $250 to $400 range.

Step 4: Create the Tour, From Walkthrough to Exit

Many editing programs, including Box Brownie and Immoviewer, will put your photos in the right sequence as they upload; as long as you take your photos in the order of the flow of the home’s floor plan, they’ll be properly arranged for the virtual tour.

If you’re using Matterport’s software, after you upload your photos, they’re processed into the 3D model in the correct order. You can then start adding “Matter Tags” and highlight reels, embedding videos and brochures, and labeling rooms and dimensions, says Frank.

If you have the editing skills to stitch the images together yourself, Schravemade recommends programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, available as an online subscription for $9.99 per month as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud package. (A subscription to the full Adobe Creative Cloud costs $52 per month, but most users need only those two apps.)

With Immoviewer, “those tours are live the moment they’re uploaded. So if you’ve got a good [wireless] connection from the house and you use the app, the moment those images are uploaded, that virtual tour is live and ready to go,” Turner says.

Matterport’s detailed scanning and photography process can take a couple of hours to finish uploading. Once that upload completes, it then takes 24 to 48 hours to process. That’s when you’re able to start tagging and adding specs and points of interest. Box Brownie uses manual stitching for its photo editing process and has a 24-hour turnaround, says Schravemade.

Step 5: Publish and Market the Tour on Multiple Channels

Platforms such as realtor.comÂź, many MLSs, and social media are ideal places for publishing your virtual home tour. You can embed the tour link in email campaigns and text messages or drop it straight into Facebook, says Schravemade.

Once the images and 3D model have been created, Frank says, the Matterport system “automatically generates photos it thinks are usable in your marketing campaigns, as well as a few short teasers, which are great; you can easily download a GIF or MP4 [video] file and use it in your marketing campaigns.”

Make virtual home tours part of everything you can, whether it’s inexpensively with Immoviewer or Box Brownie or more fully immersive with detailed Matterport tours, Lublin advises. “People are more hesitant to enter properties now, but there’s a tremendous demand, and providing them the ability to see and choose to eliminate properties online is a powerful tool,” he says. “You always want to be seen as tech-forward. Now it’s easy to be tech-forward.”

Turner estimates 95% of listings still don’t have a true virtual tour, even amid the pandemic. “I wish [agents] wouldn’t be so hung up on perfect image quality, especially with a virtual tour,” he says. “Do one, get it up there, and give consumers this experience they’re looking for. A 360-degree camera is going to do a really good job of capturing an above-average image of the room.”

What You Need to Create 3D Home Tours

  • Camera: $250–$3,500. Experts interviewed for this article recommended a range of options, including the Ricoh Theta V ($380); Insta360 One X ($456); Ricoh Theta Z1 ($1,000); and Matterport Pro2 ($3,400).
  • Tripod or monopod: $25 to $50
  • Extra battery: $30 to $40
  • Battery charging station: $20 to $40
  • App: Virtual-tour providers have apps that enable you to upload 3D photos to create tours.

On a Budget

For about $15, you can get a selfie stick, attach your smartphone to it, and walk through a listing, narrating as you go and pointing out features people might otherwise see more readily in an in-person tour. It’s not a true virtual tour, but it’s an economical way to create a tour to post to social media and aggregator sites.

Hear From the Experts

The National Association of REALTORS¼’ recent three-part TechEdge series took a deep dive into virtual tours. The June 30 session, “The Virtual Agent,” was hosted by broker-owner Bill Lublin and featured Jeff Turner and Peter Schravemade. REALTORS¼ can purchase a recording of the session for $14.95 at nartechedge.com .

Bottom Line

Virtual tours allow prospective buyers to interact with a home and look at features in detail without being on-site. This can greatly increase the reach of your listings, so it’s essential for agents to know how to create them. To create a virtual home tour, start by deciding the type of virtual tour you’d like to create, choosing your equipment, and planning your shots before taking your photos. Additional details like leveling the tripod, staging each room, and using virtual tour software are also vital to creating a virtual tour.

Many real estate agents avoid creating virtual tours because of the assumed time, effort, and expenses. However, companies like Asteroom remove those obstacles by offering affordable and easy-to-use software, as well as a simple 3D tour kit for creating high-resolution virtual tours right from your smartphone. The kit provides tools to turn your smartphone into a 360-degree camera to create tours in 15 minutes. Start creating virtual tours with Asteroom today.

Here are 10 steps on how to create a virtual tour for real estate in greater detail:

“Virtual tour” is an umbrella term used to describe a few different types of interactive property photos or videos. These include video walk-throughs, 3D virtual tours, and interactive 360-degree virtual tours. However, it’s important to know that a slideshow of listing photos set to music is not a virtual tour since it does not recreate the experience of being inside or walking through a property. True virtual tours have some element of interaction for viewers so they have a clear understanding of what it’s like to visit the property in person.

The three main types of virtual tours include the following:

Walk-through

A video tour or walk-through is exactly what it sounds like—a video showing the home as the agent or photographer walks through the property, or in other words, a guided walk-through of a property. Video tours are the least interactive virtual tour option, but they are the easiest to create using anything, from smartphones to highly sophisticated digital video equipment.

Video tours can be created in 10 to 15 minutes by walking around the home with your smartphone or a camera, like this example from Nava Realty Group:

Example of a real estate video walkthrough

Real estate video walk-through (Source: YouTube )

Video tours are one of the easiest ways to add an engaging and unique element to your property listings, but that’s only the beginning. In fact, video is the most engaging type of social media content, with 66% of users saying that short-form video is even more engaging than long-form. Therefore, make sure you take advantage of the marketing power of video.

3D Virtual Tour

3D virtual tours are not videos but are interactive experiences that allow users to click through 3D images and experience what it is like to move through the property. They are created by taking multiple photos of each space with a panoramic camera lens, then using virtual tour software to stitch the images together. The result is an interactive experience that allows viewers to more clearly understand the floor plan, view spaces from different angles, turn around, and back up in each room to see details.

Because this type of virtual tour is created from static images and not from video, the flow from room to room can feel jumpy, like looking at something in Google Street View. However, they provide considerable value to potential buyers because they can virtually “walk” through the property at their own speed and look at spaces in detail.

Another affordable way to easily create a 3D home tour is with the Zillow 3D Home Tours . It’s a free app that works with 360-degree cameras and smartphones to capture panoramas and generate an interactive home tour. The tour can then be shared on the MLS, the Zillow listing, social media, and your website. Try the app today.

Interactive 360-degree Virtual Tour

360-degree tours offer an immersive, true-to-life experience of walking through a home, similar to wearing a virtual reality (VR) headset. Of course, learning how to make a 360-degree tour requires more specialized equipment and software than the other types of virtual tours, but the result will help you and your listings stand out from the competition.

Sample residential 3D tour from Matterport (Source: Matterport 3D tour example )

360-degree virtual tours, like 3D tours, require you to set your camera in the center of the room. Then, you must activate your 360-degree camera, and it will rotate to take a high-resolution, 360-degree photo of its surroundings. Each photo is then uploaded to special software, where text, links, and other interactive multimedia content can be added to the photos—creating a highly dynamic experience for the viewer.

One of the reasons that some agents avoid learning how to make virtual tours is that they are confused or intimidated by the equipment necessary to create them. In reality, the growth of virtual reality (VR) and 360-degree photography has increased the number and type of equipment options available. In fact, some virtual tour kits are extremely affordable and user-friendly, showing you how to do a virtual tour by using your smartphone or a DSLR camera.

Many real estate photographers and professionals agree that the best way to create a virtual walk-through is by using a DSLR rig. A “rig” basically means adding equipment accessories to your DSLR to create a virtual tour. When you’re figuring out how to create 360-degree virtual tours with a DSLR camera rig, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of equipment and accessory options. However, the basics will always include:

  • DSLR camera: A few great DSLR options for creating virtual tours are the Sony a7R series , Sony a6000 , or Nikon D3500 .
  • Fisheye lens: This type of lens allows you to get the widest angle. Before selecting one, research cropped, circular, and diagonal fisheye lenses.
  • Tripod and/or monopod: A tripod sits on a surface and holds your camera steady, while a monopod has only one leg, and is used for shooting smooth 360-degree videos.
  • Panoramic tripod head: In addition to a tripod that holds your camera steady, virtual tours and 360-degree photos will require a tripod head for panoramic photos. Evaluate whether you need a manual or automatic tripod head.
  • Carry case: While this may seem like an optional piece of equipment, it’s necessary to keep your equipment safe, secure, and easy to transport around the property.

On the other hand, advanced 360-degree cameras provide higher quality photography and videography with more extensive tools, features, and accessories.

Here are a few of the top virtual tour cameras on the market:

In addition to having the correct equipment, having good quality software is essential for learning how to make a virtual walk-through. There are a variety of software programs at every price point, and they help you create different types of tours.

Make sure you research your equipment and software options to ensure that all of your purchases work together effectively. Read through reviews, compare prices and features, and search for examples of photos taken with each type of camera to help you decide on the best fit for your needs.

To start, check out the following four top virtual tour software programs:

As you learn how to create a virtual tour, you’ll find that it requires more planning and preparation than still photos. Those who are successful in real estate know how to develop systems to improve their listing process and overall success.

Start by making a list of every room in the house that should be included in the virtual tour walk-through. Before the shoot, walk through the home, find the center of each room, and make sure your camera will be able to capture and highlight the features of each room from that vantage point.

If the center doesn’t work, find a place where your camera will pick up the most detail and mark the spot with a piece of tape. Don’t forget that every space matters to a potential buyer, so it’s important to include rooms like bathrooms, walk-in closets, and mudrooms in your virtual tour. Creating a shot list ahead of time can help make sure you don’t leave anything out.

5. clean & stage each room.

With your virtual tour plan in hand, make sure the home is physically prepared for the photo shoot. At a minimum, remove anything that stands in the way of the lens or anything that might be distracting or look like clutter. In addition, consider using additional home staging tips like depersonalizing, removing excess or mismatched furniture, or even adding a new coat of paint.

For the best results, consider in-person home staging or using a virtual staging company . Staging a home has an enormous impact on the buyer’s perspective, especially in virtual home tours where they are likely to zoom in on photos and actively search around each room.

Top virtual staging companies, like BoxBrownie, create highly realistic images for an affordable price with an incredibly fast turnaround. Virtual staging with BoxBrownie enables you to produce the most efficient and effective strategy, driving maximum traffic to your listings.

As you learn how to make virtual walk-throughs, there are certain steps you must remember to take for every shot. Making sure your tripod is level will only take a few seconds, but it’s essential for any image, video, 360-degree, or panoramic photo you’ll take. In real estate photography , having clear lines and angles is absolutely essential. Don’t try to create panoramic or 360-degree images without a level place to put your camera.

Image of a tripod with level lines against the wall and floor

If your tripod does not come with a built-in bubble level, simply download a leveling tool on your smartphone, like Bubble Level for iPhone or iHandy Level . Level the tripod by adjusting the legs until the bubble is centered between the lines.

At the beginning of your shoot, test each shot on your image list. As you learn how to make a virtual tour that generates leads , you’ll notice specific details that need to be adjusted, like lighting, the camera angle, or oddly placed decor.

If you notice something distracting in the shot, move the camera or stage the items in the room accordingly. Keep an eye on any mirrors, glass, or windows, making sure you and your camera do not appear as a reflection in the pictures. If you do, pick a different place to stand and operate the camera remotely.

With a thorough shot list and the correct camera settings, you’ll be ready to move through each room on the property to take pictures. Find the spot you planned in each room, set up your tripod, and take pictures. Check each image on the camera screen before moving the tripod, retake shots as needed, and confirm you have all the images you need before moving on to the next room. It’s better to have too many photos than too few.

Once you have all of the correct shots of the property, it’s time to create the virtual tour with your software. Regardless of what equipment and tools you need, the process of how to make a 3D tour will generally follow these three steps:

  • Upload Images to Software
  • Add Extra Features
  • Consider Outsourcing the Virtual Tour

Uploading images to the EyeSpy360 virtual tour software

Uploading images to virtual tour software (Source: EyeSpy360 )

Start by uploading your images into your software program. If it’s your first time creating a virtual tour, the software may teach you how to make a virtual tour through step-by-step prompts. Go through the steps of adding static or panoramic images, and the software will stitch static images together for 3D virtual tours and assemble the panoramic photos for 360-degree tours.

Adding hotspots in an iStaging virtual tour

Virtual tour creator (Source: iStaging )

Most software programs include additional features to improve your tour and enhance the viewer’s experience. These can include audio descriptions, interactive links (also called hotspots), music, or text. Depending on your software choice, click on settings or the edit button to get a choice of extra features to add to your virtual tour. Viewers will be able to back up, zoom, or change directions automatically with their mouse when the virtual tour is complete.

Real estate virtual tour freelancers in Fiverr

Virtual tour freelancers (Source: Fiverr )

Virtual tour software providers have made the process very simple, but that doesn’t mean every agent has the knack for editing videos or learning high-tech software programs. Many new real estate agents attempt to do everything themselves, but there are many cases when outsourcing is the most efficient way to create a virtual reality tour, 3D tour, or floor plan.

It’s easy to find a professional freelancer to help make a virtual tour on Fiverr. Just search for a virtual tour freelancer and browse through hundreds of profiles, examples, and reviews. Before beginning your project, you can even contact freelancers to ask questions and agree on a price. See who’s available on Fiverr today.

Once you’ve finished creating your virtual tour, take every opportunity to advertise it on your listing. Many virtual tour software programs provide a link or HTML code to embed the tour on websites, emails, or social media. In fact, it’s best to develop a system for sharing and promoting your tour and add that to your marketing or open house checklist .

Here are some of the best places to share your tour for maximum reach:

  • On your IDX website
  • Single-property websites
  • Zillow listing
  • Email campaign
  • Social media
  • Real estate newsletter

Statistics & Benefits of Creating a Virtual Tour

Although there are many tools on the market to make the process of creating a virtual tour easier, the reality is that it requires additional time, money, and attention to complete. It’s important for you to evaluate whether or not this is a crucial element of your real estate listing marketing plan .

Real estate virtual tour statistics

However, there are a few major benefits to creating and publishing VR tours:

  • Fewer wasted appointments: Although it’s great to have a large pool of interested buyers, it’s extremely frustrating when you spend time scheduling and managing showing appointments for buyers who aren’t interested in purchasing the listing. Virtual tours help many buyers self-eliminate, and studies show that they can reduce wasted viewings by about 40% .
  • Appeal to a wider audience: You may be surprised at the number of potential buyers who are moving from out of state or are unable to visit properties for other reasons. Since virtual tours provide a more realistic view of the home, you may receive offers without even having to schedule a showing. In fact, almost 90% of prospective buyers stated they are more interested in a property with a 3D tour that allows them to take digital measurements of rooms. Additionally, 55% of buyers said they would be willing to purchase a home sight unseen if it had a virtual tour.
  • Give your listing a competitive edge: Zillow listings with a virtual tour receive an average of 68% more views . If you want to attract the largest number of potential buyers, virtual tours are an incredible strategy.
  • Generate more listing leads: In a study by Matterport , 83% of Millennials and 94% of GenZers stated they would prefer to work with an agent who offered virtual tours.

Virtual tours provide potential buyers with a unique, fun, and engaging tool to view a property online. There are a few different types of virtual tours that can help your real estate listings generate significantly more interest and increase the sale price. With the right equipment, software, and strategy, learning how to make a virtual tour can be relatively simple and can make a big impact on your business.

10 India VIRTUAL TOURS to take now

If you’re longing to get a taste of India without being able to travel there in person (or even if you’re stuck at home in India), a great way to escape into a world of India’s finest sights, monuments and places is to go on one of these India virtual tours.

From Indian museum virtual tours, to Taj Mahal virtual tours, there is a surprising amount of 360 degree virtual tour India video and content out there, if you have a little time and know where to find it.

I love taking virtual tours not only as a way to experience India while at home , but it’s also a great way to start planning your trip to India. Discover some of India’s best known sites and cities to see if they make your travel shortlist, for when we are all able to travel again.

So, without further ado, here are some of the best India virtual tours that we’ve found that’ll help satisfy your wanderlust right now.

Are you looking for more India travel inspiration? Make sure you join our India Travel Planning Facebook Group here !

Taj Mahal Virtual Tour

We’ll start with the big one! If you’re looking to take a Taj Mahal virtual tour, Google maps has some nice footage and 360 degree photos you can scroll around to get into the details, too. The whole Taj Mahal complex is mapped on Google Streetview, which provides a nice reminder of what the Taj normally looks like, complete with crowds.

For something more structured, there is a collection of nice 360 degree videos available here , that give a nice intro to how the Taj looks from pretty much any angle. Our favourite, however, is Google’s Taj Mahal Tour from the Top which is available here . Or you can go for a virtual wander through the Taj’s gardens , or you can take a look at the history of the Taj Mahal with some beautiful black and white photographs in this ‘ Online Exhibit ‘.

Delhi Virtual Tour

If you’re looking to take a virtual tour of Delhi, India’s capital, there are also plenty of different virtual tours and exhibits on offer – ranging from you tube videos, to 360 degree photos and online exhibitions.

Some of our favourites include a look at the Lodhi Garden Monuments , which are located in south central Delhi and provide a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi or Connaught Place (CP). The online exhibit takes you through the history of the monuments, their architecture and design as well as glimpses of the lovely park.

You can take an online look at big-hitting tourist attractions such as Delhi’s Red Fort or the beautiful Qutub Minar complex to the south of the city. Or for something a bit different there is also an exhibit dedicated to Delhi’s Baolis or Stepwells .

Mumbai Virtual Tour

The heart of India’s economy and (more famously) it’s film industry, we make no secret of the fact that Mumbai is our most beloved Indian city. After beautiful scenes of a serene and quiet Marine Drive during lockdown, we were inspired to go on the hunt for virtual tours that would share more of Mumbai’s beauty.

Some of our favourite virtual tours of Mumbai include a look around the iconic CSMT station (VT) , touring the caves on Elephanta Island , or you can take your very own (virtual) sunset stroll along Marine Drive , aka the Queen’s Necklace. For those interested in contemporary culture, there’s also an interesting virtual exhibit about street art in the slum area of Dharavi.

Golden Temple, Amritsar Virtual Tour

If you’re looking for a Golden Temple virtual tour, one of the best we’ve found is this one . With content provided by Incredible India, this online exhibit of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab is full of beautiful photos, information about Sikhism, and 360 degree footage, including a look at the huge hall in which the world’s largest lun gar (a free holy meal provided to all) is served to over 100,000 people every day.

Save me for later on Pinterest!

Bangalore Virtual Tour

The much less visited (by foreign tourists at least) than some of India’s other cities, Bangalore has a lot to offer and is a beautiful destination to visit – if you can get through the traffic that is. The best part of this virtual tour, Bangalore, is you can forget about any traffic jams and simply get a taste for what this southern city has to offer.

The best virtual tour of Bangalore that we’ve found so far is this one . Join TGF hosts for a glimpse at Bangalore’s historic districts, temples, IT Hubs and best food spots, the botanical gardens and Lalbagh.

Ahmedabad Virtual Tour

If you’re interested in exploring the western state of Gujarat, virtually (which you should be, this state has plenty to offer), Gujarat Tourism has a host of footage and virtual tours available on their website with 360 degree maps of many sites, including some of Ahmedabad’s historical monuments.

One of our favourite virtual tours is of the Rani Ki Vav step well in Gujarat, located to the north west of Ahmedabad and one of India’s most beautiful step wells.

Hampi Virtual Tour

One of southern India’s most popular tourist destinations and long a main stopping off point on the hippie trail, there are few things better than seeing a Hampi sunrise and visiting in person . Fortunately, in the interim, Incredible India has some good online exhibits and virtual tours to whet your appetite to visit in real life.

You can learn about the history of the lost city , discover the history and crafts of the nomadic Lambani people who lived in Hampi, or take a visual journey through the poetry of Hampi’s stone carvings .

Or if you still want to see more after those virtual Hampi tours, there’s a whole website dedicated to virtual footage of Hampi – Hampi360.com!

Jaipur Virtual Tour

Part of India’s famous golden triangle , it’s with good reason that Jaipur is one of the most popular places to visit in India for visitors. Famed for its colourful pink hued walls that surround the old city, and palaces and havelis galore, there’s a good deal to see in Jaipur. If you haven’t made it here in real life just yet, there are plenty of virtual tours of Jaipur on offer.

Learn about the women musicians of Rajasthan , all about making jewellery in Jaipur (Jaipur is famous for its gems trade), or you can even go on a tour of some of Jaipur’s most famous hotels. This video gives you a tour of the Taj Rambagh Palace hotel. For more grandeur, you can take in the famous Hawa Mahal palace on this virtual walk .

Or for more tours, Rajasthan Tourism has also been offering virtual walks around Jaipur, and is expanding more virtual tours of Jaipur and beyond to help satisfy our wanderlust.

Varanasi Virtual Tour

Varanasi – or Kashi – as it’s more affectionately known, is an assault on the senses. No matter how many virtual tours or videos you watch of Varanasi, you’ll only get a small taste of Varanasi, the rest of the experience has to be felt, smelt, heard and seen with your own senses.

But, virtual tours of Varanasi can be a great way to prepare for your visit and get to know more about the history of Varanasi, its rich craft and textile traditions, and the infamous Ganga aarti experience. For an introduction to Varanasi and its beautiful handwoven sarees, you can start with this online exhibit .

For more on the master weavers of Varanasi, textiles and sarees, you can watch this virtual tour . Or, for a more general look around Varanasi, you can find plenty of 360 photos and videos here .

Goa Virtual Tours

You might think what’s the point of taking a Goa virtual tour when I just want to be on the beach? And yes, we agree. But—Goa is far more than its beaches, as many of the virtual tours and online exhibits we found point out. If you’d love to know a little more about Goa’s history, Portuguese legacy, architecture, arts and crafts then read on.

If you miss the stunning 360 views of Goa’s beaches, forts and lighthouses, a great place to start is the Goa Tourism website which has a whole range of 360 panoramic photos .

To delve into Goa’s culture, there’s an online exhibit introduction to Goa here , or take a look into Goa’s beautiful windows and doorways, take a (virtual) walk around the Museum of Goa , or take a train ride past the beautiful Dudhsagar Falls .

Madonna in Rio Livestream: How to Watch the Singer's 'Celebration Tour' Concert in Brazil for Free

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Variety may receive an affiliate commission.

Madonna is closing out her “ Celebration Tour ” with a historic free concert tonight in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil streaming live on Globoplay .

The aptly-named “Madonna in Rio” concert takes place live from Copacabana Beach tonight, Saturday, May 4 at 9:45 p.m. local time (8:45 p.m. ET). This is the final stop on Madonna’s world tour and The Queen of Pop is giving away free tickets to fans in Brazil, on a first-come, first-served basis. As for everyone else, there are a few ways to livestream Madonna’s Brazil show online free.

How to Watch Madonna Brazil Concert Online Free

Popular on variety.

Even better: you can get a three-day free trial to Sling right now, that will give you access to Globo and Globoplay (the TV channel’s official streaming arm). Use the free trial to livestream Madonna’s Rio concert online free without cable.

How to Watch Madonna Brazil Concert From the U.S.

Another way to get a live feed of Madonna’s final show? Use a virtual private network (VPN) and set your location to Brazil, to watch the free livestream on Globoplay. We like ExpressVPN ( from $6.67 a month ) or NordVPN ( from $3.99 a month ), which both let you watch Madonna’s Brazil concert from the U.S. and anywhere in the world.

Madonna’s Copacabana Beach concert marks the last stop on her acclaimed “Celebration Tour,” and also marks the singer’s first show in Brazil since 2012. Crews have set up a stage in front of the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel, and local officials have said the show could bring out as many as two million fans.

While previous stops on the tour have brought out special guests like FKA Twigs, Ricky Martin and Salma Hayek, it’s not clear who — if anyone — will appear on stage with Madonna tonight. Still, expect an appearance from Bob the Drag Queen (a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue), who has opened for Madonna on all dates of the global tour.

The first music video generated with OpenAI’s unreleased Sora model is here

Discover how companies are responsibly integrating AI in production. This invite-only event in SF will explore the intersection of technology and business. Find out how you can attend here .

OpenAI wowed the tech community and many in media and arts earlier this year — while also raising feathers of traditional videographers and artists — by showing off a new AI model called Sora that makes realistic, high-resolution and smooth video up to 60 seconds per clip.

The tech remains unreleased to the public for now — OpenAI said at the time , back in February 2024, that it was making Sora “available to red teamers to assess critical areas for harms or risks” and a selected small group of “visual artists, designers, and filmmakers.” But that hasn’t stopped some of the initial wave of users from making and publishing new projects with it.

Now, one of OpenAI’s handpicked Sora early access users, writer/director Paul Trillo, who was among the first in the world in March to demo third-party videos made with the model, has created what is being called the “ first official music video made with OpenAI’s Sora. ”

The video was made for indie chillwave musician Washed Out (Ernest Weatherly Greene Jr.) and his new single “The Hardest Part.” It is essentially a 4-minute long series of connected, quick zoom shots through different scenes that have all been stitched together to create the illusion of a continuous zoom. Watch it below:

The AI Impact Tour – San Francisco

Join us as we navigate the complexities of responsibly integrating AI in business at the next stop of VB’s AI Impact Tour in San Francisco. Don’t miss out on the chance to gain insights from industry experts, network with like-minded innovators, and explore the future of GenAI with customer experiences and optimize business processes.

On his account on the social network X, Trillo posted that he’d first had the idea for the video 10 years ago, but abandoned it. He also replied to questions from his followers and stated that the video was made from 55 separate clips generated by Sora out of a pool of 700 total, and stitched together in Adobe Premiere.

First official commissioned music video made with @OpenAI Sora for @realwashedout This was an idea I had almost 10 years ago and then abandoned. Finally was able to bring it to life. Watch the full video here https://t.co/sGpmMLVCul pic.twitter.com/J3RxRD9nzo — Paul Trillo (@paultrillo) May 2, 2024

Separately but relatedly, Adobe recently announced it was looking to add Sora and other third-party AI video generator models into its subscription Premiere Pro software, but no timeline has been set for this integration, so in the meantime, those looking to emulate Trillo’s workflow would have to generate AI video clips in other third-party software such as Runway or Pika (since Sora remains non-public) and then save and import them into Premiere. Not the end of the world, but not as seamless as it could be.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times , Washed Out/Greene said “I look forward to being able to incorporate some of this brand-new technology and seeing how that informs what I can come up with. So, if that’s pioneering, I would love to be part of that.” The interview also goes over some of the specific prompts used:

“ Greene needed to write prompts with enough specific details about not just the image itself but the shot angles and movements of the characters. ‘We zoom through the bubble it pops and we zoom through the bubblegum and enter an open football field,’ Trillo wrote as part of his prompt for one brief snippet of video. ‘The scene is moving rapidly, showing a front perspective, showing the students getting bigger and faster.’

Trillo also posted that used only the model’s text-to-video capabilities , rather than taking still images captured or generated elsewhere and feeding them into the AI to add motion (a popular tactic among artists in the quickly evolving AI video scene).

This example shows the power of Sora in creating media with AI and is a helpful rejoinder to the recently revealed information that another one of the first demo videos made by Canadian creative studio Shy Kids called “Air Head,” featuring a man with a balloon for a head, actually leaned heavily on other VFX and video editing tools such as rotoscoping in Adobe After Effects.

It also shows the continual appetite among some creatives — in music and video — to use new AI tools to express themselves and tell stories, despite many other creatives criticizing the technology and OpenAI in particular as being exploitative and violating copyright of human artists by scraping and training on their prior works without informed consent or compensation.

Madonna's Final Celebration Tour Stop in Rio de Janeiro Draws Record-Breaking Audience of 1.6 Million

The Queen of Pop held a free concert at the Copacabana Beach as a "thank you" to her fans "for celebrating more than four decades of music" during her global tour

She has written cover stories on Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Melissa McCarthy, Blake Shelton, Jordan Turpin and Sandra Oh. Madonna promised her fans the biggest dance party in the world — and the Queen of Pop delivered on May 4 in Rio de Janeiro.

In March the singer, 65, announced she would be performing a historic free concert at Copacabana Beach for her final Celebration Tour show, and on the night a record-breaking 1.6 million fans watched the pop superstar perform her final Celebration Tour concert.

The show made history as, though the annual New Year's Eve concerts at Copacabana Beach have drawn larger crowds, Madonna's May 4 audience was her biggest ever, and the largest ever for a stand-alone concert by any artist, a record previously held by The Rolling Stones.

During the show, Madonna played a host of hits, including "Like A Virgin," "Like A Prayer," and "Into The Groove."

For her performance of "Vogue," the pop icon was joined on stage by Anitta, who shared her delight on her Instagram Stories .

"@madonna soooo happy for being part of this incredible moment with you," she wrote across a video of the two artists together on stage during the concert.

ANDRE COELHO/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

Sponsored by ItaĂș Apresenta, the concert — her first in Brazil since 2012 — "will be free of charge as a thank you to her fans for celebration more than four decades of her music over the course of the epic global run of the tour," stated a press release.

The show took place in front of the Belmond Copacabana Palance Hotel, and entry was available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

SplashNews.com

The Material Girl kicked off her  long-awaited Celebration Tour  at London's O2 Arena in October with an electrifying two-hour set during which she opened up about her  road back to the stage  after  her hospitalization last year  following a  serious bacterial infection .

"I didn't think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors. That's why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me," Madonna  said of her kids  Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11. "But the angels were protecting me, and my children were there. And my children always save me every time."

Last month the singer shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes snaps of herself with her kids ( David, Mercy, Stella and Estere all performed alongside mom during her run of shows) from their past few months on tour.

"On the day before our 80th show of the Celebration Tour I need to acknowledge my incredibly talented children who carried me through this Journey each of them bringing their own unique talent to the stage," she wrote in the caption.

Insider Today

Travis Kelce sold four tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour for $80,000 at a charity auction hosted by Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce and Swift attended the auction at The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas on Saturday, which raised money for health, wellness, and community resources that impact the lives of children.

Swift seemingly decided to auction off the tickets spontaneously, as they weren't included in the docket.

Related stories

"I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other, and uh, we might have one other auction item that wasn't on the docket," Kelce said in a video posted to TikTok , cited by People .

"Has anybody heard of the Eras tour?" he said. The crowd cheered in response.

Kelce went on to say they had four tickets for the Eras Tour's US dates in New Orleans, Miami, Oregon, and Minneapolis later this year.

Harry Santa-Olalla, the auctioneer, confirmed in an Instagram post that the tickets sold for $80,000.

Santa-Olalla also documented the moment Kelce "convinced" Swift to auction the four tickets in an Instagram Story, according to People.

Several videos circulating on social media showed Swift and Kelce entering the event , and later, Swift was filmed waving a red napkin as the tickets were auctioned.

Bloomberg estimated that Swift earned $1.1 billion in 2023, largely due to the success of the Eras Tour.

An analysis by research company QuestionPro, cited by a Business Insider report , found that the average Swiftie spent $1,300 to head to the Eras Tour in 2023.

Some fans who spoke to BI's Juliana Kaplan admitted to spending up to $20,000 on expenses relating to Swift's tour, including flights, accommodation, costumes, and tickets.

Last year, data from the research company QuestionPro provided exclusively to CNN estimated Swift's tour will gross $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales, and that is before the resale market.

McKINNEY, Texas (AP) — Kris Kim, a 16-year-old amateur playing on a sponsor exemption at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, became the youngest player in nine years to make the cut in a PGA Tour event.

Kim finished his second round Friday with a birdie for a 4-under 67. At 7-under 135, he was among 66 players who made the cut, which was 6 under. Jake Knapp was the leader at 14-under 128 .

Kyle Suppa was 16 when he made the cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii in 2015.

At 16 years, seven months old, Kim surpassed Jordan Spieth as the youngest player to make the cut at the Nelson. Spieth was two months shy of his 17th birthday when made his first PGA Tour start at his hometown event in 2010, and finished tied for 16th.

Kim, who is the son of former LPGA Tour player and South Korea native Ji-Hyun Suh, is making his PGA Tour debut. He is the first amateur sponsored by South Korean company CJ Group, which is the title sponsor of the Nelson for the first time.

Kendrick Lamar Claims Drake Slept With Lil Wayne's Girlfriend in Latest Diss

Lil Wayne previously confirmed the rumors in his memoir.

The rap civil war is far from over, and Kendrick Lamar dropped yet another scathing diss track aimed at Drake .

In his third diss in less than 48 hours, Lamar went scorched Earth on "Not Like Us," the latest installment of the beef sweeping the nation. Among accusations of Drake being a "certified pedophile," harboring convicted sex trafficker Baka Not Nice, and more, the Compton rapper even brought in one of Drake's frequent collaborators and mentors, Lil Wayne , into the mix.

Lamar raps, "Fucked on Wayne's girl while he was in jail, that's conniving / Then get his face tatted like a bitch, apologizing."

While some of the other accusations made in the trio of disses over the weekend may be up for debate, it looks like this one is true.

Wayne has gone on the record several times to confirm this, telling the story of how he was held in Rikers Island when Drake visited him and admitted what he did. In a TMZ report from 2015, Wayne was shopping around a tell-all book that eventually became 2016's Gone 'Til November, which details his time in prison for weapon possession.

To be fair, the act of betrayal happened before Wayne and the unnamed began dating, but it hurt him.

"As a man, honestly, that shit hurt...and not because it was Drake. It could've been any man and it would've hurt the same. She said it happened way before we got together, but she just never told me."

View this photo on Instagram

Looks like another point for Lamar on the scoreboard. Verdict is still out for whether he's telling the truth about Drake's alleged daughter. You can listen to the full diss below.
