Devprayag means Godly Confluence as per Hindu scriptures. It is the sacred event of merging two visible heavenly rivers, Alaknanda & Bhagirathi to form the holy Ganga. Countless streams and waterways move through the ripe fields from the mountains.The city is dazzling with culture, history and excellence. The sightseeing tour offers an amazing experience to discover the best of the hill town. The tour will be starting at 9 AM with a pick up from the hotel in Haridwar which will take Approx. 3 Hours 30 Minutes (94.2 Km) to reach Devprayag. The chauffeur will pick up from the hotel and drop back at the hotel after the tour, in a comfortable car with an experienced driver having a plethora of ancient stories and facts about the places.

Attraction Covered : 

Alaknanda Bhagirathi Sangam : This is the meeting point of sacred rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which leads to the formation of river Ganga.

Raghunath Temple : It is one among the oldest and famous temples of Lord Rama. Do take a careful look at the statue of Lord Ram and the walls, as they have beautiful carvings

Vashist cave (Meditation Session) : The Vashishta Gufa situated in the middle of Gular trees and the sacred River Ganga is a perfect place for peace of mind and positive spiritual energy.

Neer Gaddu Waterfall : A shallow pool, cascading waters and beauty around the waterfall makes it one of the picturesque places that cannot be missed at any cost.

• This tour is not recommended for guests with walking disabilities or guests who will need use of a wheelchair.
• Car is available as per itinerary mentioned only and not for extra use.
• Entry fees will not be included.
• If the limit of 8 Hours extends then the customer has to pay Rs 10/ Per Km & Rs 100 / Per Hour.
• Entry fees are not included in the package.
• Any activity taken like rope way, boating etc is not included in the package.

• If cancellations are made 7 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the rental cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
• Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

The term Devprayag stands for 'Holy Confluence' in the Sanskrit language. This is the confluence of two holy rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. From where the point of these two rivers ends, Holly Ganges emerges from. Devprayag is a small town situated in Tehri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand . Apart from that some of its area comes under Pauri Garhwal District. It is also a Nagar Panchayat and a division of Panch Prayag. Devprayag is the last prayag of River Alaknanda. Devprayag is located on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway.

The Hindus pay immense respect to this town as it is the place where the holy River Ganga takes it shape. The name of the region was given after Dev Sharma, who led his ascetic life. It is also conceived by the people that Dev Sharma saw a quick look of God at this site. It is also believed that Lord Rama and king Dushratha performed self-mortification here. There is an old shrine of Raghunath Ji located at the confluence using massive stones. According to the belief of the people, the temple was built in more than ten thousands years in the past.

In the year of 1803 a devastating earthquake destroyed the shape of the town but later on the area brought to its real form by a constructional touch. The meetings of the rivers have Barahma Kund on the Bhagirathi River and Vashisht Kund on Alaknanda River. There is a area popularly known as Baitalshila which is believe that a bath in it can free patients from the disease of leprosy.

Devprayag is around 2,265 ft high above the sea level. Religiously, the site is very sacred and of immense significance among the Hindu followers. Tourist, saints, pundits and munies visit the temple throughout the year from across the country. Devprayag is also hugely blessed with natural beauty. Payments: The Searching Soul has a clear payment policy one must abide by it. In case the payment has been done partially the remaining amount should be paid 12 hours prior to the completion of the trip.

Facilities: All our inclusion are well mentioned in all our itineraries. The customer will be charged extra for facilities other than the mentioned facilities.

Medical illness: In case of any medical illness or casualty during the trek / Weekend Getaways, The Searching Souls team will make arrangements to the nearby medical facility but the expenses have to be paid by the individual.

Environment Policy: The Searching Soul has very strict policies related to the wellness of the environment. We follow a no litter policy at all our campsites and weekend getaways. Anyone abiding any such policy may be fined and also may result in cancellation of his/her tour.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided only to the concerned and registered individual. An individual does not hold the right to share the details.

Case 1: If the tour is cancelled by The SearchingSouls -

(a) In case the tour is cancelled by the Searching Souls due to any unavoidable circumstances like Bharat bandh, roadblock, natural calamity, landslides etc. we will not be able to refund any amount.

Case 2: If the tour is cancelled by the customer -

(a) If the tour is cancelled by the customer prior to 60 days of booking date - 50% of total package cost will be refunded

(b) If the tour is cancelled by the customer between to 30-60 days of booking date - 30% of total package cost will be refunded.

(c) If the tour is cancelled by the customer between 0-30 days of booking date - no amount will be refunded.

Note: In case of seat transfer to a friend

(a) You can anytime transfer your seat to your friend but he/she has to fulfil all the formalities before the day of the event.

(b) Replacement would not be applicable on any public transport booked for the original participant, in that case booking for a new member has to be done again.

Yamunotri is dedicated to the goddess Yamuna, while Gangotri is dedicated to the goddess Ganga. Kedarnath is home to one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

The Char Dham circuit attracts millions of devotees and pilgrims each year, who undertake the arduous journey to seek blessings, cleanse their sins, and attain spiritual enlightenment.

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (240 km/6 hr)

Upon arrival in Delhi and meeting with the driver, our journey starts from Delhi towards Haridwar. Overnight stay at Haridwar. Check in at the hotel and have dinner. In the evening attend the most visited Aarti on the banks of the river Ganga at Har ki Pauri in Haridwar. The evening Aarti is fully crowded as most pilgrimages don’t want to miss the Aarti at any cost.

Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot (210 km/7-8 hr)

The journey starts from Haridwar in the early morning after dip (bathing) in the holy Ganga river to wash your sins. After having breakfast move towards Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route visits the famous tourist destination Kempty Fall. Upon arrival check-in into the hotel to take rest, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 km & 5 km Trek) Each side

Proceed towards Janki Chatti with GangotriTravels, expert driver will take to you Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti. Start your 5 km trek from Janki Chatti for Yamunotri. Take a holy dip in Garam Kund, then do pooja & darshan afterwards trek back to Janki Chatti and meet Gangotri Travels expert driver and drive back to Barkot and overnight stay at the hotel after dinner.

Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi (100 km/4 hr)

Drive to Uttarkashi en route to Vishwanath Temple and check in at the hotel for a night's halt.

Uttarkashi-  Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town. It is situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi. This little town is very similar to Kashi or Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and ghats and likewise, a north or 'Uttar'. 

Day 5: Uttarkashi - Ganganani - Gangotri - Harsil - Uttarkashi (100 km/5 hr) round trip

With a packed breakfast, leave for Gangotri Dham with our Teen Dham Package which includes all three Uttarakhand Pilgrimage as Chota Chardham on 8 Days/7 Nights 3 Dham Yatra Package. Offers prayer and darshan in Gangotri Dham then get back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani and Harsil. Uttarkashi is your overnight stay.

Gangotri-  About 100 kilometres north of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, Yamunotri Dham is located in the Garhwal Himalayas. This pilgrimage is considered one of India's four Chota Chardham.

Day 6: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi - Sitapur (290 km/8-9 hr)

In the early morning after breakfast, a long drive to Sitapur en route to Guptkashi visit Tehri Dham (The Hydro Electric Project). Your overnight stay at Sitapur/Guptkashi.

Day 7: Sitapur - Phata/Sirsi - Fly to Kedarnath Dham By Helicopter - Same Day Return & Stay in Sitapur

The next morning drive to Phata Helipad or Rampur or Sirsi Helipad to get a Helicopter to visit Kedarnath Dham. We offer Kedarnath Dham Darshan in our 11 days Char Dham Yatra Package. The temple is located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near Mandakini river, in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

Day 8: Sitapur/Chopta - Badrinath (220 km/7-8 hr)

After having breakfast proceed towards Badrinath via Chopta, Joshimath. Get evening aarti and darshan at Badrinath Dham. Overnight stay in Badrinath Ji.

Badrinath-  Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Bhagwaan Vishnu. According to Hinduism, Vishnu Ji is the supreme power and ruler of the universe. Alaknanda River flows through Badrinath Dham.

Day 9: Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag (170 km/6 hr)

Next morning take a dip (bathing) in the Taptkund and get Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Some famous tourist spots are included in our 11 days Chardham Yatra Package Ex-Haridwar such as Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Mukh of the Saraswati River.

Day 10: Rudraprayag - Devprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar (165 km/6-7hrs) 

After breakfast drive to Haridwar en route visit Devprayag & Rishikesh. In Rishikesh, you can visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening attend the Aarti at Har ki Pauri at Haridwar on the banks of the river Ganga. Our driver will drop you at the hotel. 

Day 11: Haridwar - Delhi (240 km/5-6 hr)

The upper Himalayas in Garhwal Uttarakhand are unexplored but boast of most scenic locations of Auli, considered as the best winter destination and Skiing slopes, Badrinath, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimages and Chopta, region of meadows and evergreen forest area. This entire region falls in the Trans Himalayan belt and known for lofty mountain peaks, lush greenery and serene surroundings. During winter from November till March these places are snow covered. The region gets heavy snowfall during winter months from November till March and is pleasant during the rest of the months. This tour begins at Rishikesh and ends at Haridwar. The route to Auli from Rishikesh is an uphill drive of about 280 Kms, the entire route is along holy Rivers like Ganges,Alaknanda, Mandakini, Pinder and you drive past the Panch Prayag Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnuprayag and Joshimath. Further from Auli you visit Badrinath Dham which is a popular pilgrimage town and must visit Mana Village to have tea at the last Indian tea stall. The return travel is equally exciting as you visit high altitude grassland at Chopta and small town of Ukhimath. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal is considered as an amazing hill station and important ski destination located at an elevation of 2,500 metres to 3,050 metres in the Himalayan Mountains of Uttarakhand. This small hill town is bordered by coniferous and oak forests and is blessed with breathtaking views of mountain ranges like Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat and Kamet. Auli also boasts the Asia's longest cable car - stretching to a distance of 4 km and Chair Lift and a Ski-Lift which takes people to higher slopes is the key attraction. Chopta, the Mini Switzerland also a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary is a beautiful hill station and a superb trekking destination in Uttarakhand. It’s the base for various trekking destinations like Tungnath, Chandrashila and is the epicenter of all Panch Kedars (famous Shiva Temples). The entire region is surrounded by meadows, evergreen forest, gurgling waterfalls, abundance wildlife and with the spectacular views of mighty Himalayan ranges. Badrinath along with Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath form the Chota Char Dham, one of the important pilgrimages for Hindus cradled in the Nar-Narayan mountain ranges of Uttarakhand. The temple is located along the banks of Alaknanda River at an elevation of 3,133 meters and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath. The temple remains covered in snow for over six months and during this period the deity is shifted to Joshimath. There are many attractions like Tapt Kund, a group of hot sulphur springs just below the temple, Mana village, better known as the ‘last Indian village is about 3 Kms from the temple along with other attractions like Vasudhara Falls, Bhim Pul and Vyas Gufa. Badrinath is also the getaway to trek to Satopanth Lake.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Rishikesh

The journey begins as we arrive at Jollygrant Airport, on arrival we meet the host and start the road journey to Rishikesh which is 30 Kms from the Airport and takes about 1 hour. On arrival you get over with the check-in formalities, relax for sometime and then visit Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola, Tapovan, Triveni Ghat and attend Ganga aarti in the evening at Parmarth Niketan. Stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 2 : Rishikesh to Auli

Its a long drive to Auli today, we start our journey early and take the uphill drive going past the Panch Prayags (Confluence of Rivers) Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag & Vishnuprayag. The entire route is along the holy rivers and high mountains of Uttarakhand. Reach Joshimath from where Auli is just 16 Kms. On arrival you get over with the check-in formalities and relax for rest of the day in the alloted room. Stay overnight in Auli.

Day 3 : Auli-Badrinath - Mana Village - Auli

Visit Badrinath Dham today which is about 50 Kms from Auli, On arrival at Badrinath visit the temple and then go further to explore Mana Village, walk around and have tea at the last Indian Tea shop. Return back to Auli by afternoon. Later enjoy the amazing vies of the mighty Himalayas from Auli. Take the cable car ride in Auli and relax for rest of the day. Stay overnight in Auli.

Day 4 : Auli - Chopta

Today we drive back from Auli and take a detour from Chamoli towards Gopeshwar and head towards Chopta also known as “Mini Switzerland“as its surrounded by dense forest, and offers majestic view of Snow Clad Himalayan Ranges and lush green meadows. It is also the starting point of the trek to famous Tungnath Mandir (Panch Kedar Temple) and Chandrashila Summit. We would require another day to visit Tunganath and the same is on request. Stay overnight in Chopta.

Day 5 : Chopta-Rishikesh-Haridwar

Its time to return back today. We start up early, visit Omkareshwar Temple which houses the deities of Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar during winters and drive along holy rivers of Uttarakhand to reach Haridwar while passing towns of Rudraprayag, Devprayag and Rishikesh. On arrival we get over with the check-in formalities and later visit Bara Bazar and attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Stay overnight at Haridwar.

Day 6 : Haridwar local – Departure

Today we visit Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temple and later checkout and take the onward journey.
