High in the Sky

The gondola ride over the sea leading to Vinpearl and Hon Tre, or Bamboo Island, is the world's longest. Here, you'll find the Vinpearl Amusement Park, a waterpark with a lazy river, a wave pool, an aquarium and a golf course. The cable car entrance is close to the cruise port.

Buddha Basics

Learn about Buddhism by visiting the Hai Duc and Long Son pagodas. The latter has a giant white Buddha statue which can be seen from anywhere in Nha Trang. Look for dragons and other mythical animals in the temple designs, inside and out.

Rejuvenate Mind and Body

The Po Nagar Cham Towers are less than two miles north of the city. Only four of the eight towers built in the 7th to 12th centuries remain. Find your inner calm at this ancient worship site, which blends Buddhist and Hindu traditions in its statues and architecture. Then, head to the hot springs and mud baths at nearby Thap Ba to refresh your body, too.

Local Cuisine

Nha Trang is well-known for its excellent seafood. Locals farm lobster just offshore — have a feast on the beach or at one of the city's many restaurants. Or try the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs, bo ne , traditionally served on a hot plate for breakfast with lime and chili sauce.

Check out street markets like Dam or Vinh Luong. Here, you'll find souvenirs like pearl jewelry, clay pots painted with Champa designs or hand-embroidered artwork. Peruse Tran Phu Street along the beach — look for silk clothing in the form of shirts, skirts and scarves.

MYSTERIOUS LANDSCAPES, HISTORIC LANDMARKS

Cruise to hanoi (halong bay), vietnam, the limestone cliffs of the halong bay unesco world heritage site will be your first impression of northern vietnam, but the adventure has only begun by the time you reach hanoi. vietnam's millennium-old capital boasts sacred sites like the temple of literature, where you can stroll through manicured courtyards or see ornate shrines dating back to 1070. find natural serenity at hoan kiem lake, a place of quiet reflection within the fast-paced city. cruise to vietnam to check out the impressive st. joseph's cathedral, a 19th-century gothic revival church that reflects the western influence on the country's recent history., national language vietnamese currency accepted vietnamese dong (vnd), things to do in hanoi (halong bay).

hanoi-halong-bay-vietman-floating-village

SAIL INTO TIMELESSNESS

Halong bay was designated a unesco world heritage site in 1994, but you'll feel the imprint of the millions of years it took to form as you swerve in and out of its limestone cliffs by boat. pose for selfies with friendly locals into the streets of ha long city or cat ba island, or hike up to pho tsi mountain for a panorama you can enjoy from dry land., trace the millennia, vietnam's capital hanoi celebrated its 1,000th birthday in 2010, and even a short time in the city allows you to see a cross section of its impressive history. the temple of literature hosts vietnam's first university, while hoa la prison tells the moving stories of the vietnam war. the red hue of huc bridge, which crosses hoan kiem lake, is timeless and iconic, while the ultra-modern hanoi museum, fashioned as an inverted pyramid, embodies the boldness with which vietnam has entered the 21st century..

EAST MEETS WEST

Vietnam was under French authority for 60 years during the late 19th century, and vestiges of European culture remain in the city. From architectural wonders like the Gothic Revival St. Joseph's Cathedral, to the Buttercup Yellow Presidential Palace — a turn-of-the-20th-century building that once housed the Governor-General of French Indochina — Hanoi is both proudly Vietnamese and delightfully global.

hanoi-halong-bay-vietman-pho-ga

LOCAL CUISINE

It's no secret that Vietnam has legendary food, such as its pho noodle soup that's become popular around the world. While most people know pho as a beef soup (Pho bo), Hanoi specializes in the chicken variety known as Pho ga. Other popular northern Vietnamese dishes include Bun cha (fatty grilled pork with soft vermicelli noodles) and the simple fried fish on offer at legendary Hanoi eatery La Vong.

hanoi-halong-bay-vietman-souvenir-dolls

Shopping in old Hanoi is unique because the Old Quarter of the city has several streets dedicated to individual products. Hang Bac Street specializes in silver jewelry, while Hang Gai Street sells Vietnamese silks and paintings. Hang Hanh is where you'll head if you want to buy — or drink — legendary Vietnamese coffee during your cruise vacation. This coffee is best enjoyed as ca phe sua da — iced with sweetened condensed milk.

Nha Trang cruise port

Region Asia

Local Time 2024-06-25 21:25

Port Nha Trang cruise ship schedule shows timetable calendars of all arrival and departure dates by month. The port's schedule lists all ships (in links) with cruises going to or leaving from Nha Trang, Vietnam. To see the full itineraries (ports of call dates and arrival / departure times) and their lowest rates – just follow the corresponding ship-link.

Nha Trang is a port city and capital of Vietnam's Khanh Hoa Province, located on the country's south central coast. The city is bounded by Dien Khanh District (west), Ninh Hoa district (north) and Cam Ranh town (south) and has population around 560,000.

Nha Trang is famous for its beaches and scuba diving tours. It has developed into a well-known destination for international tourists, attracting large numbers of backpackers and more affluent travelers on Asia's southeast circuit. The destination is also very popular with tourists from Vietnam as Nha Trang Bay is considered among the world's most beautiful bays. Travelers are welcome to participate in the renowned Sea Festival (held biennially). On July 14, 2008, the city hosted the "Miss Universe 2008" and on December 4, 2010 - "Miss Earth 2010". On April 14, 2015 here was made the "Face Off" (TV series) Season 8 finale.

The city was historically known as "Kauthara under the Champa". It is still home to Po Nagar Tower. As a port city, Nha Trang is also the centre for marine science technologies (based at Nha Trang Oceanography Institute). Hon Mun marine park is among the world's first four marine protected areas admitted by the international organization IUCN ("International Union for Conservation of Nature").

Royal Caribbean Issues Visa Update for Cruises to Vietnam

Ben Souza

The following is the Vietnam visa update from Royal Caribbean:

“The Vietnam Visa On Arrival (VOA) program for the following nationalities has changed. Effective immediately, any guests sailing from the below countries should be informed to apply for a visa prior to the arrival at the Vietnam port of call. Please note that the 12 highlighted countries have just been added to the list.

ISRAEL, TURKEY, SERBIA, SRI LANKA, KAZAKHSTAN, AFGHANISTAN, IRAN, IRAQ, PAKISTAN, MOROCCO, YEMEN ARAB REPUBLIC, SAUDI ARABIA, NIGERIA, OMAN, BANGLADESH, JORDAN, CAMERON, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO, SIERRA LEONE, FIJI, SOUTH AFRICA, MOZAMBIQUE, KENYA AND GHANA .

Any Royal Caribbean ships calling at Vietnam ports will no longer be able to apply for the VOA for those guests from the above listed countries. If a guest fails to obtain the visa prior to the cruise, they may be allowed to sail with the ship. However, they will not be able to disembark in any of the Vietnam ports.

Guest should be sure to keep your travel documents and SetSail Pass handy. They’ll need them from the moment they arrive to the port, all the way to boarding the ship, so they won’t want to pack them in their luggage.

We are communicating to guests at 8, 4, and 2 weeks prior to sailing for the new passport requirement to ensure they arrive prepared and ready to sail!”

The Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, Rome, Italy

THE ULTIMATE HISTORY CLASS

Whether you traipse through the 'Eternal City' of Rome or get lost in the museums and chapels of Florence, history lives in Italy – and outside it. Trips to the city-states of San Marino and Vatican City make for great excursions during your holiday onboard the best Italy cruises.

Italy Rome Colosseum

History class comes alive in Italy's iconic structures and celebrated art galleries. From gazing upward at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, to combing through the dozens of timeless works that make Florence's Uffizi Gallery famous (including 'The Birth of Venus'), Italy's artistic heritage is as impressive in the big picture as it is in the finer details.

Santa Maria del Fiore Gothic Church in Florence, Italy

LIVE FOREVER IN ETERNAL CITIES

Rome is Italy's Eternal City, with its massive Colosseum and the ruins of the Roman Forum, but there are other spots here with roots equally as deep. In Florence, visit the Gothic church of Santa Maria del Fiore, built on the site of a 7th-century chapel. In Venice, you can set foot in 9th-century St Mark's Basilica and see the dazzling gold mosaics from Byzantine times.

Rome, Italy Vatican City

VISIT A CITY-STATE (OR TWO)

Regardless of your religious beliefs, no trip to Rome is complete without a tour of Vatican City, where the splendour transcends its Catholic identity. From Florence or Venice, visit the mountainous micro-country of San Marino, which boasts an 11th-century citadel that rests hundreds of feet above the ground.

Tuscany Region, Italy Journey

JOURNEY ON FOOT AND FORK

Take advantage of Italy's varied topography with hikes in the hills of Tuscany or through the villages of Cinque Terre. Enjoy world-class food scene, perfect for culinary aficionados who don't mind a little indulgence when you cruise to Italy.

Italy Napoles Capri

WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

Who says Italy is only churches, pizza and high-brow art? Take a hike through the hills of the Tuscany region or have a dip in the crystalline waters of Capri, where the harbour is filled with yachts as far as the eye can see. From the pristine coasts to the rolling hills, Italy is a natural beauty.

Venice, Italy Canals and Gondolas

DARE TO STRAY

Even if you stick to 'mainstream' Italian destinations, you can still spice up your time in Italy. Ride a vaporetto (a local form of taxi boat) from Venice to the colourful island of Burano, or take a westward train ride from the  port city of La Spezia  to the lush coast of Cinque Terre. These are great alternatives to going south and east to Florence or Pisa.

Italy, Rome Local Restaurant

TWIRL YOUR FORK

Sophia Loren famously said that she'd rather eat pasta and drink wine than be a size zero, which is a great attitude to have while visiting Italy. Indulge in the notorious pizza of Naples or the award-winning pastas of Rome's Trastevere district – you'll need the energy for exploring cities on foot.

Italy Venice Waterways Boat

Best Italy Cruises

A cruise to Italy is filled with exciting destinations, each with its own style and vibe. Discover Italy onboard the Best Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships.

Italy Rome Couple Holding Hands by Historical Building and Fountain

GET ROMANTIC IN ROME

Before boarding the  best cruises from Rome , explore the ancient streets once trodden by gladiators and great artists alike. Kick off your dreamiest cruise yet by feasting on pasta, pizza and local wines.

Italy Amalfi Coast Family Enjoying the Beach

SET FOOT ON EXOTIC SHORES

Cruise to the warm, crystal-clear waters of the  Amalfi Coast , Greece, Spain and France. Relax on the world's most unique beaches, explore ancient historical architecture and indulge in favourite local dishes.

Bring along a dictionary or download Italian in your phone's translation app. In spite of its popularity as a travel destination, English isn't commonly spoken, particularly in the south.

Mind your valuables: pickpocketers crowd Italy's popular tourist areas.

Pick two to three activities per day, max. Part of enjoying Italy is living at the local pace, and Italians are never in much of a hurry.

FOR FOODIES CUISINE WITH A PAST-A

Italian cuisine is popular all over the world, but you've never really eaten it until you've had it in Italy. From familiar favorites like pizza and pasta, to a delightful variety of Italian meats and finishing touches like bitter espresso and sweet gelato, food is an essential part of the Italy travel experience.

Naples, Italy Margherita Pizza

LEANING TOWERS OF PIZZA

As its name suggests, Dal Presidente Pizza in Naples is famous because President Bill Clinton enjoyed its pizza during a visit. Whether you choose a simple margherita (mozzarella and tomato) or a complex capricciosa (the heat cooks the raw egg on top of it), Neapolitan pizza is sure to get your vote.

Italy Authentic Pasta Dish

NEXT-LEVEL NOODLES

Pasta in Italy will change your life, whether you choose egg-and-bacon carbonara or pasta primavera, which pairs farfalle with fresh seasonal vegetables. No matter where in the country you are, choose a place that makes its pasta fresh –— and one where patrons speak more Italian than English.

Original Italian Gelato

SCOOP IT UP

Gelato is not just 'Italian ice cream'. It uses more milk and fewer eggs (zero, in fact) than ice cream, but that's just the start of why it's essential to Italian dining. Try classic flavours like rich stracciatella (milk flavour with chocolate shavings) and fruity amarena, which tastes like cherries.

About This Ship

 alt=

The third ship in our revolutionary Edge ® Series, Celebrity Beyond℠ takes our innovative outward-facing design further than ever, creating an even closer connection between you, the sea, and every exciting place on the horizon. Soak up the sun, salt breezes, and stunning scenery in newly expanded open-air spaces. Savor fine dining that rivals anything you’d find on land. And discover even more ways to relax and renew.

Onboard Features

The Grand Plaza

The Grand Plaza is a transformational place that offers a different experience every time you visit. From day to night, the lighting changes from warm and inviting to bright and dramatic.

Rooftop Garden

What better place could there be to gaze at the sea than float pools that are cantilevered over the open ocean? This feat is one of the highlights of our redesigned Rooftop Garden, which now extends right over the water’s edge.

Resort Deck

Find endless ways to connect with the sea, including the Rooftop Garden, the adults-only Solarium pool, and the Main Pool—an asymmetrical space surrounded by an outward-facing, terraced pool deck.

The Solarium

On the Resort Deck, you’ll find the adults-only Solarium. Celebrity Beyond continues the tradition of offering this glass dome-covered pool area where adults can unwind in luxurious style. The Solarium features a pool and hot tubs for liquid relaxation. Grab a light bite for breakfast or lunch at The Spa Café and Juice Bar or order your favorite beverage or cocktail.

The sheer size of Eden will amaze you. In fact, Eden has more outward-facing glass than any other venue at sea, so here you’ll feel more connected to the sea—and the stunning destinations beyond. With Eden Café, Eden restaurant, and Eden Bar, three levels of cozy nooks, lounge seating, and lively entertainment, no matter what time of day or night you visit Eden, it will leave you intrigued and wanting more.

The Magic Carpet

The Magic Carpet® is a cantilevered, floating platform that reaches heights of 13 stories above sea level. Majestically situated on the starboard side of the ship, it makes Celebrity Beyond’s sleek profile recognizable from miles away. Enjoy comfortable seating, a full bar, and space for live music performances.

The Theatre on Beyond

The entertainment aboard Beyond raises the bar on vacations to even greater heights with experiences that are just as revolutionary, just as technologically mind-blowing, and just as carefully crafted as Celebrity Beyond itself.

This Vegas-style casino rivals the biggest and best land-based casinos. With a variety of games in a smoke-free environment.

Whether you’re joining the excitement of the daily activities that take place here or popping in at night for the cutting-edge entertainment experiences, The Club offers hours of entertainment—with a completely new look.

The Destination Gateway

A multi-purpose area that brings our destinations to life. When not in use as a luxury embarkation station, the space is transformed into an intimate setting for programming centered on shore excursions and more.

The Celebrity Shops

A carefully curated collection of upscale and sustainable products from world-famous brands that represent the ultimate in luxury.
