Heralded as the UK’s answer to Blink-182, Busted became one of the most iconic pop-rock bands of the noughties. Their debut self-titled album released in 2002 featured some of their biggest hits “Year 3000”, “You Said No” and their debut single “What I Go To School For”. Going onto win several accolades including Favourite Newcomer at the National Music Awards and a few BRIT awards saw Busted reach new heights as they released their follow-up album “A Present For Everyone” which went triple platinum in the UK. Their successes continued growing with every single released reaching the top 3 in the UK charts accumulating a number of eight- seriously impressive! With their teenage appeal and emulating a rebellious nature, it’s no wonder that they attracted thousands of adoring fans to their live performances. Opening with classics like “Air Hostess” sees the trio of Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne air jumping as they run across the stage, surrounded by a chorus of screams. Their energy is infectious as the crowd jump up and down, waving their arms in the air to “What I Go To School For” singing along word for word. Their tongue-in-cheek lyrics feed into their banter with the crowd, mirrored by some of the banners that audience wave emphatically. “Year 3000” sends the crowd wild, as the bright lights dart across the stage. “Crashed The Wedding” sees energy levels soar through the roof while ballads like “Sleeping With The Light On” slowing down them temple equally sees the biggest reaction, as the audience sway their arms in the air with the camera lights in the air. If you came to be entertained, Busted will definitely make sure you have a good time.

let me tELL YOU SONGKICK:

okay so when busted announced they were getting back together i was SO happy, the band that made my childhood and the very same band of who no one, including the band themselves, thought would ever get back together and not gonna lie, I'd liked fightstar and Charlie's solo stuff but they were all different and I liked them all in their own way but busted would always have a special part in my heart as my first loves. Anyway, we bought our tickets etc etc and the day finally came, we went and had a meal over at centertainment when

Amazing performance. Lots of energy and love from Charlie, Matt and James. The new tracks they played from the currently unreleased new album were out of this world! I loved every second of it, I was part of the Pigsty Which was ablsolutly isane to see all those people in the crowd and have a different perspective of a gig was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Charlie looks especially happy to be back he was extremely happy and energetic throughout. The lads gave great vocals and played well all night. Very much enjoyed it. Cant wait to see them next time!

After Busted split up I was devastated and when u heard they were having a reunion tour I just knew I had to go! After gettin to see McBusted which had James and Matt this was even better! Play all of the classic songs and I never sat down once. Support acts were great and was an amazing atmosphere. Such funny, talented and down to earth lads. Music sounds even better live. All busted fans must see them!

I've been waiting to see them live for the best part of 18 years and the day before my 21st I finally got to see them.

Best show of my life and I've been to well over 150 gigs in the past 2 years.

Professor Green didn't suit the lineup at all and didn't gain much of a crowd.

Scouting For Girls however were a perfect opening act. Massive crowd with everyone singing along. Brilliant.

Amazing concert, nice to hear the old and new song. Duration was a little short. The band played with the audience to entertain us. Stage was fine, lights were good. I missed the opportunity to shake hands and ask for autographs of the band (there were no VIP tickets)

They were amazing. I enjoyed every second of it, altough it felt like it was over so soon. The vocals live were sooo good & they were very interactive with the crowd. I would love to do it all over again & would highly recommend buying tickets for theirs shows 100%

The Tyne, on the other hand, is a four-piece band of youngsters who are making a name for themselves in the music scene.

What is Busted’s setlist?

Event Details

Busted have announced that they will be celebrating their 20 th anniversary with an arena tour which is heading to The O2 on 10, 27 September and 10 October 2023. The band will be joined by special guests Hanson and The Tyne.

Impossible though it may seem, it’s been twenty years since Busted bounced into the charts with the irrepressible pop-punk energy of their debut single ‘What I Go To School For’ . It kickstarted a succession of hits for the trio, including the #1 smashes ‘Crashed The Wedding’, ‘Who’s David’ , ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’, ‘You Said No’ and the Top 3 singles ‘Year 3000’ , ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Sleeping WIth The Light On’. Now Busted celebrate their 20th anniversary by announcing details of a major UK arena tour, alongside a series of new versions of fifteen of their classic hits to be released in the build-up, with some very special guests

The tour will see the original much-loved trio - James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis - play their hits and fan-favourites this September. The first track to launch the 20 th anniversary celebrations will be a new version of Busted’s song ‘Loser Kid’ featuring Simple Plan, which will be released on 14 April. Loser Kid featured as the final track on their self-titled debut album and was co-written by Bourne, Simpson and Willis.

Busted’s many successes spread far beyond the singles charts. Three of their four studio albums also peaked at #2, with 4.5 million sales leading to eight Platinum certifications as well as a total of 25 weeks in the Top 10 and two 5x Platinum selling albums. They have won two BRIT Awards - Best Pop Act and Best British Breakthrough - while multiple sold-out arena tours have seen them sell more than 2 million tickets.

Busted’s 20th anniversary tour follows Charlie Simpson’s recent triumph as the winner of 2023’s ’The Masked Singer’, adding to his other projects which have included four solo albums and four albums with the rock band Fightstar. James Bourne is a renowned songwriter, with credits including McFly, The Jonas Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer and The Vamps, as well as his band Son of Dork and two recent solo albums ‘Safe Journey Home’ (2020) and ‘Sugar Beach’ (2022). After releasing his debut solo album, Matt Willis famously won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ leading to a successful television career as well as acting roles which have included the recent West End hit ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’.

Busted's '20th Anniversary & Greatest Hits' tour set list

From 'Air Hostess' to 'Loser Kid'

James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson, better known as Busted , have now started their '20th Anniversary & Greatest Hits Tour'! Tickets for the band's tour went on sale earlier this year, selling out within hours, so the boys ended up releasing even more dates for their fans.

Now that the band are on tour, we thought we'd take a look through their set list and see which hits fans can expect to see them perform on stage. From their popular tunes such as 'Crashed The Wedding' to 'Loser Kid', to their cover of Hanson's ' MMMBop 2.0 ', which they perform with their special guests.

Take a look through Busted's set list now:

This set list is representative of just one gig on their tour, other gigs may have a different set list.

How did Busted announce their tour?

Busted shared the good news about their tour's extra dates shortly after their tickets went on sale saying: 'You guys are incredible. Seven new dates added, all on sale now. 💥 Ireland we’re working on getting to you too so watch this space 💥 this is going to be the most epic tour EVER'.

After teasing fans with a date and the hashtag #Busted20 , the band reunited in March and announced a huge tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

With four Number 1 songs under their belt, and many more huge hits such as 'What I Go To School For', 'Year 3000' and 'Sleeping with the Light On' to name just a few, their tour will be BUSTING at the seams.

Busted's tour sees the band reunite after a break of three years, and perform their biggest hits to their fans across the country.

Busted tour tickets 2023: Dates, venues, pre-sale details and the ticket prices for UK reunion tour

Tickets for the busted tour go on sale at a variety of prices from late march.

LONDON, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 15: (L-R) Matt Willis, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne of the band Busted pose in the winners room at the VO5 NME Awards 2017 at The O2 Academy Brixton on February 15, 2017 in London, United Kingdom. (Photo by Dave J Hogan/Getty Images)

Noughties pop-punk boyband Busted has announced a UK-wide reunion tour, set to take place later this year, 18 years after they confirmed their split in an emotional press conference.

In the five years they were together between 2000 and 2005, the three-man band – Charlie Simpson , James Bourne and Matt Willis, all now 39 – had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards and sold more than 5 million records.

They made waves in the early 2000s with several iconic bangers including “Year 3000”, “Crashed the Wedding” and “Air Hostess”.

The band reformed for a brief stint in 2013, fusing with childhood friends and fellow pop boyband McFly to form spin-off band McBusted, releasing an album and performing a few comeback tours and one-off gigs.

In the tour announcement video, band member James Bourne said: “We were writing songs that made us laugh, and the songs that made us laugh made other people laugh and feel good.”

Here’s everything you need to know if you want to watch Busted perform live, including ticket price, sale information and a full list of tours and venues.

Busted at Manchester’s AO Arena — tickets, support acts, stage times and more

They're back with pop-rock guitar riffs, irresistible Noughties nostalgia, plenty of jump kicks and we couldn't be happier.

Danny Jones

Guys, we don’t know if you heard but Busted are back on tour— or, more accurately, back on top and they’re bringing all the hits and unparalleled energy levels to Manchester’s AO Arena for a second night in less than a week.

The Busted boys played an initial sold-out show last weekend but had to add a second Manchester date due to the massive demand and although they received rave reviews the first time around, it might as well have been a warm-up for the main event which is already shaping up to be a belter.

With some seriously good supports, another soon-to-sell-out crowd of 20,000+ and the trio now having had a ridiculously good practice run only a few days ago, Busted at the AO Arena night two is going to be insane.

That being said, here’s everything you need to know about their 20th-anniversary tour date and greatest hits show.

Are there tickets left for Busted in Manchester?

If you’re still scrambling around in the hope of getting a last-minute ticket to hear the likes of ‘Year 3000’ and ‘What I Go to School For’ live, you’re in luck: there’s still a very small handful of tickets to be snapped up if you’re quick enough.

There are still a few seats floating about, ranging from £42.50 to £53.50 on Ticketmaster , and you can obviously splurge on the AO Arena’s Champagne Experiences in the Electric Lounge if you fancy it.

As always, if you end up missing out you can also check out resale sites like Twickets and TicketSwap, we advise steering clear from ticket touts at all costs.

Support acts

Busted have brought some truly great support acts along with them this time, including 90s and 2000s US pop favourites, Hanson — remember them?

As well as the equally iconic trio, Manc pop band New Hope Club are playing the home crowd too. Go on the local lads!

Throwing together some of the era’s most iconic pop-rock together with another three-piece from the modern generation, you’re getting a proper value-for-money and for-all-ages show this Saturday.

Busted stage times for AO Arena night two

As for when you can expect to see each of these fantastic acts take the stage, doors will open from 6pm and New Hope Club will be getting things started at 7:30pm.

Finishing a quickfire set just a few minutes before Hanson, the American throwback best-known for ‘MMMBop’ with be playing from 8pm until 8:30pm — and you might even have a surprise in store. We’re saying nothing else…

Then, at 9pm, the main event gets underway with Busted set to play up until curfew around 11pm and we literally can’t wait.

20th Anniversary and Greatest Hits setlist

Thanks to the ever-reliable Setlist.fm (and the fact we already had multiple members of The Manc office go along to the first night), we even know what they’ll be playing:

  • Air Hostess
  • Meet You There
  • You Said No
  • Everything I Knew
  • MMMBop (Hanson cover)
  • Sleeping With the Light On
  • What I Go to School For
  • Who’s David
  • Falling for You
  • Thunderbirds Are Go
  • She Wants to Be Me
  • Crashed the Wedding
  • Video (Brit Awards 2004)
  • Teenage Kicks (The Undertones cover)

All the hits — what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, and did we mention they’re number one!?

  • Take That ticket prices labelled ‘crazy’ as band add fifth Manchester date
  • Chase and Status announce UK tour with just three dates — and one of them is Manchester
  • The Chemical Brothers on new arena tour, forming in MCR and how the city influenced them

It’s going to be another great night at the Arena, we just know it, no matter where you end up.

And, seriously, if you can afford it don’t sleep on the VIP experience — it’s worth every penny and perfect for a special occasion.

We recently went along to try ourselves for this year’s Davis Cup and it was a brilliant experience.

Watching the Jonas Brothers at the Co-op Live Arena was like stepping into a time machine that none of us ever wanted to get out of.

Although the tour was literally called ‘Five Albums, One Night’, we still somehow had our doubts as we walked up to the ever-impressive Co-op Live that we’d actually get the full spectrum of hits we were hoping for (mainly due to my disbelief that they’d actually play Camp Rock songs…)

But sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say ‘fair play’, because the Jonas Brothers delivered nothing non-stop hits, from nostalgic classics to the modern-day stuff.

Jonas Brothers Co-op Live review

Jonas Brothers at Co-op Live, Manchester – Review

Special mentions from the off.

Before I really get into the bulk of the review though, I’d just like to shout out Mimi Webb , who opened the show brilliantly at the Co-op Live. From the moment she walked on stage you could have genuinely been fooled into thinking she was the one headlining.

Delivering many of her hits such as ‘Erase You’, ‘House on Fire’, ‘Good Without’ and more, she was the perfect support act for a crowd that was ready to party the night away. Special mention also goes out to the actual venue: last night was admittedly my first time stepping foot into the Co-op Live and I was absolutely blown away, not only by the sheer size of the place but by how smoothly everything ran.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by MIMI WEBB (@mimiiiwebb)

I know it may sound like a moot point but the best venues are the ones where you barely even notice all the effort that goes into the operation of ensuring customers have the best experience possible.

There’s nothing worse than paying good money for a ticket only to be held up in queues for the bar, toilet, or even just to get in; Co-op Live certainly ensures those problems don’t occur. It genuinely filled me with a little bit of Manc pride knowing that we have a music venue that good, right on our doorstep.

Let’s go, Jo’ Bros

Anyway, onto the actual concert and can I first of all just start by saying, or rather screaming, AHHHHH!…

I’ll be the first to hold my hands up and admit Camp Rock was a seminal part of my early teenage years and that I’ve had a burning love for the Jonas Brothers ever since.

One thing that I really respected about their show is how they didn’t try to hide from their roots. There’s many a ‘child actor turned superstar’ out there who would love nothing more than to eradicate the memory of them ever being a plucky Disney channel regular.

Not these lads, however. The Jo’ Bros seem to fully own their pre-teen and small screen past, wearing that reputation not with any adolescent cringe but instead like a badge of honour.

The show truly did span their entire discography, from ‘Gotta Find You’ ( Camp Rock ), all the way through to their latest record – fittingly called, The Album . It was two and a half hours of banger after banger… after banger, after BANGER, (I could go on—actually, I might…); after banger, after banger .

We even got a 1975 cover, for crying out loud!

Teenage screams straight from our teenage dreams

Okay, I’m done. Seriously though, the crowd were absolutely loving every moment of it. Every time one song ended and another began, within the first three notes being played, all you could hear was 23,000 simultaneous screams from adoring fans, ourselves firmly included.

In summary, the vibes were immaculate, the songs were stunning, the audience had the times of their lives and for one very special evening with inhibition left at the front door, a trio of siblings from across the pond made it felt like all might be well in the world once again.

Hyperbole? Maybe, but that’s what pop music’s all about.

For future reference, we’ll fight anyone who dares to mock the Jonas Brothers as just some guilty pleasure.

That anyone should show shame for enjoying because last night they completely rocked (‘Camp Rock!’) the show, in an arena already heralded by many music legends.

You just have to be grateful for moments like these. Thank you, Jonas Brothers.

You can watch The Holiday on a big screen with a live orchestra playing the soundtrack in Manchester this Christmas.

The Holiday is one of the best-loved Christmas films of all time.

In case you haven’t got around to watching it before, the 2006 romcom directed and produced by Nancy Meyers stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black, and tells the story of how two women, who have never met and live 6,000 miles apart, find themselves in the same exact place in life.

They meet online through a home exchange website, and impulsively switch homes for the holiday.

Shortly after arriving at their destinations, both women find the last thing either wants or expects – a new romance.

Busted announce return with massive UK arena tour and reworks of hit songs to celebrate more than 20 years since debut

busted

It’s official – Busted are back, and they’re bringing new songs and a massive UK tour with them.

The iconic three-piece ruled the airwaves in the early noughties with earworms including Year 3000, Air Hostess and What I Go To School For.

It’s somehow been more than 20 years since Busted – comprising vocalists Charlie Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis, all 39 – burst onto the scene, and they have something very special ahead to celebrate.

Fans had already become convinced the Who’s David stars had something major planned , with the official Busted social media pages updating their banners to include the date March 23.

Well, it is now March 23, and it has been revealed Busted are coming back for a massive 15-date UK arena tour, kicking off in September and with tickets going on sale next week.

The tour will see James, Charlie and Matt perform their biggest hits along with fan favourites (hello, Nerdy and 3am) with support from Mmmbop stars Hanson and New Hope Club.

Busted

That’s not all: the group are preparing to release no fewer than 15 songs.

Rather than brand new tracks, Busted have created reworks of some of their most iconic songs and will perform them alongside some other major names from the scene.

The first release is a new version of Loser Kid, from Busted’s debut album; the track will hit airwaves on April 14 and will feature pop rock stars Simple Plan.

Other upcoming singles will have special guests McFly, All Time Low and more, with names to be released at a later date.

Busted 20th anniversary tour dates

September 2 – Plymouth, Pavilions September 3 – Cardiff, International Arena September 5 – Swansea, Arena September 6 – Bournemouth, BIC September 7 – Brighton, Centre September 9 – Birmingham, Utilita Arena September 10 – London, The O2 September 12 – Bridlington, Spa September 15 – Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena September 16 – Newcastle, Utilita Arena September 17- Leeds, First Direct Arena September 19 – Aberdeen, P&J Live September 20 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro September 22 – Liverpool, M&S Bank Arena September 24 – Manchester, AO Arena

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale at 9am on March 31, however fans who sign up to Busted’s mailing list will receive access to a pre-sale from 9am on March 29.

Rumours of a comeback for the group have circulated since Fightstar musician Charlie hinted to Lorraine Kelly ‘ there may be some plans ’ for a reunion.

‘It is the 20 year anniversary for Busted this year,’ he added.

‘Sworn to secrecy again… but there may be some stuff in the pipeline.’

Busted were first formed in 2000 and released their first, self-titled album in 2002, before their 2003 album A Present For Everyone threw them into even wider fame.

Their split in 2005 devastated fans, with many remembering genuine tears in the playground the day the news was announced; all three went on to form solo careers or front new bands.

Busted returned – in a way – in 2013, when Matt and James teamed up with McFly for supergroup McBusted, and Charlie finally returned in 2015, completing the original lineup.

However the group took a hiatus once again in 2019, and after four long years this seems set to be their biggest return party yet.

Event Details

Impossible though it may seem, it’s been twenty years since Busted bounced into the charts with the irrepressible pop-punk energy of their debut single ‘What I Go To School For’ . It kickstarted a succession of hits for the trio, including the #1 smashes ‘Crashed The Wedding’ , ‘Who’s David’ , ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ , ‘You Said No’ and the Top 3 singles ‘Year 3000’ , ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Sleeping WIth The Light On’ . Now Busted celebrate their 20th anniversary by announcing details of a major UK arena tour starting on the 2 nd September in Plymouth , alongside a series of new versions of fifteen of their classic hits to be released in the build-up, with some very special guests.

The tour will see the original much-loved trio - James Bourne , Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis - play their hits and fan-favourites to a combined audience of 150,000 people over the course of fifteen shows this September. Supporting Busted will be the iconic Hanson for all the shows from Birmingham onwards. The pop trio brothers are behind hits including the number 1 smash ‘MMMBop’ , ‘Where’s The Love’ , ‘I Will Come To You’ and ‘Penny & Me’ . The line-up will also feature New Hope Club , who scored a Top 5 hit with their self-titled debut album and have since exceeded 2 billion streams.

The first track to launch the 20 th anniversary celebrations will be a new version of Busted’s song ‘ Loser Kid’ featuring Simple Plan, which will be released on April 14 th . Loser Kid featured as the final track on their self-titled debut album and was co-written by Bourne, Simpson and Willis .

How much are tickets and where can I get them?

Tickets are priced £42.89/£47.39. Optional upgrades include a Meet & Greet Upgrade, OMFG Zone and Pigsty Backstage. Get them from Ticket Factory or Ticketmaster .

How to get to the Genting Arena

The Genting Arena is part of the NEC complex just off the M42.

For your sat-nav, use the postcode B40 1NT and as you get towards the venue, look for local electronic signs to guide you to the concert car parking.

There are also buses from Birmingham Coach Station to Birmingham Airport, just minutes from the NEC.

And you can also come by train. The NEC is right next to Birmingham International train station. If your train doesn't go direct to Birmingham International, travel to Birmingham New Street and get a connecting service from there.

Where to park

There are more than 16,000 car parking spaces at the NEC.

There are three parking options. The simplest is to just turn up and pay, which costs £10 per visit - just pay with cash or card at the kiosk on arrival and keep the ticket to use when exiting the car park after the show.

Shuttle buses run from the East car park to the arena, from half an hour before the show starts to one hour after it finishes. These buses do not run from the South and West car parks.

Or you can avoid queueing up to pay by pre-booking your parking online. That brings the cost down to £8.

Express Parking costs £20 per visit but gets you a space in a designated car park only 450 metres from the arena - about five minutes on foot. You also get priority exit off the site after the show.

Motorbike parking is free.

Where to eat

There are loads of food options inside the arena building.

These include Great British Fish & Chips, Beers & Balti, Hot Wok (Chinese), Classic Burger Kitchen, Lakeside Cafe & Bars, Deli Grab & Go, Old El Paso Kitchen (Mexican), Pizza and desserts galore (including ice creams) at Sugar Rush.

So what can you expect to find? And how much?

Fish and chips meal deals start from £8.10. Or pay from just £6 for chicken or sweet potato balti with rice and naan bread.

Hot Wok meal deals start from £9.40. Or get burger, chips and a drink from £7.90. Deli sandwiches are priced around £4.90, and include gluten-free options.

Classic margarita and pepperoni pizzas are available from £9 including a drink.

Where to stay

If you're coming into Birmingham especially, you might be considering staying here for a night or two.

Nearby retail complex Resorts World offers the Genting Hotel, a luxury four-star experience of five-star suites. For other options, check out Best hotels in Birmingham for a short stay .

Kamala Harris holding a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. today. Here’s what to know.

Vice President Kamala Harris will hold a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Friday. Here's what you need to know about how to watch and which roads to avoid.

Vice President Kamala Harris speaks with supporters after a debate watch party at the Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia, Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024.

Vice President Kamala Harris will be back in Pennsylvania today, fresh off here high-profile debate against former President Donald Trump in Philadelphia earlier this week.

Harris is expected to make two stops today. She will make a campaign stop in Johnstown near Pittsburgh Friday afternoon around 1:50 p.m. before traveling east to Wilkes-Barre to attend a rally at Wilkes University around 7 p.m. Details of both visits have not yet been released.

The visit is part of what her campaign is describing as a “New Way Forward” tour of key battleground states, including North Carolina Thursday night, where she reiterated her call on Trump to debate her again.

“I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate, because this election and what is at stake could not be more important,” Harris said.

While Trump kept open the possibility of a second debate with Harris during a visit to Shanksville, Pa. Wednesday, he all but shut down the idea Thursday, writing in all caps on Truth Social, “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

Here’s everything you need to know about Harris’ visit to Wilkes-Barre today:

Where in Pennsylvania is the Harris rally?

Harris’ rally Friday is being held at the McHale Athletic Center at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, about two hours north of Philadelphia in Luzerne County.

It’s Harris’ third visit to Pennsylvania just this week. She was in Pittsburgh over the weekend campaigning and prepping for Tuesday’s presidential debate, held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

Overall, it’s Harris’ twelfth visit this year to Pennsylvania, a battleground state likely to determine who wins the 2024 election.

What time does Harris’ Wilkes-Barre rally start?

Harris is scheduled to speak around 7 p.m., and doors are expected to open sometime in the afternoon.

It’s unclear how long Harris’ speech will last, but it certainly won’t be as long as a Trump rally, which typically go for a couple of hours. She spoke for about 25 minutes at a campaign rally in Charlotte, N.C. Thursday.

Harris is schedule

Where can I stream Harris’ rally in Wilkes-Barre?

C-SPAN will be streaming the rally starting at 6:30 p.m. You can also find a livestream of Harris’ rally on YouTube Saturday, but you’re better off sticking with mainstream outlets, such as the Associated Press and PBS.

You can stream it live here at Inquirer.com, courtesy of the Washington Post:

How do you get tickets to Harris’ rally in Wilkes-Barre?

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party has a sign-up page for anyone interested in attending Harris rally tonight in Wilkes-Barre. Click here for more information and for a chance to obtain tickets.

Will roads be shut down?

Roads around McHale Athletic Center, including Academy, Market, and River Streets, will be closed throughout the day, according to police. George Avenue and Wilkes-Barre Boulevard in downtown Wilkes-Barre will also be closed during portions of the day.

Police also say to expect delays and closures on I-81 and Route 309 ahead of the rally.

President Biden will be in Philadelphia Monday

President Joe Biden will be back in Philadelphia Monday, according to the White House. Details about the timing and location of the visit have not been announced.

Biden was in Pennsylvania on Wednesday to mark the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. He and Harris participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville, Pa., the site of a plane crash after passengers and crew fought back against terrorists who had attempted to hijack the plane.

While in town, Biden stopped by the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department, where in an effort to promote unity he donned the red cap of a Trump supporter.

Trump also took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial Wednesday, shortly after Biden and Harris departed. He also visited the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department, where he was greeted with a warm welcome by supporters . Trump won nearly 68% of the vote in Cambria County against Biden in the 2020 election.
