Event Details

The Diljit Dosanjh show at The O2 has been rescheduled to Friday 12 August 2022. Tickets will remain valid for the new show date.

Promoter statement:

“Due to continued uncertainty with COVID-19 a decision has been made to further postpone the tour to ensure the health and safety of all and to enable us to give you the  best  experience possible. It will be worth the wait!

All existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled show date.”

2019 saw Diljit take his live shows to new heights surpassing the levels of production in Indian music history in his US and Canada “Roar Tour”.  The shows which are complete experiences for the whole family from children to the elderly include incredible visuals and the most elaborate production elements seen for Asian shows.

Important information

We take the safety and security of all our fans and visitors very seriously, The O2 operate a strict screening procedure for all guests entering the arena.

Fans attending the Diljit Dosanjh concert with a Kirpan, a Sikh Article of Faith (ceremonial dagger), will be allowed entry as long as the Kirpan does not exceed the stipulated size of 4 inches, is worn alongside at least one other Article of Faith and concealed underneath clothes. All Sikhs wearing Kirpans are encouraged to declare the Kirpan upon entrance to the Arena and undergo security searches along with all other attendees.

Any fans that do not adhere to these regulations will be refused entry to the Arena.

Indian Rockstar Diljit Dosanjh returns to the UK

Dosanjh will be headlining the o2 arena london, utilita arena birmingham, first direct arena leeds and the ovo arena glasgow on the 12th, 20th, 26th and 28th of august respectively.

After his sold out, record breaking 2018 ‘Con.Fi.Den.Tial’ tour, Indian rockstar ‘Diljit Dosanjh’ will be returning to the UK this August for his ‘Born to Shine World Tour’. Dosanjh will be headlining The O2 Arena London, Utilita Arena Birmingham, First Direct Arena Leeds and the OVO Arena Glasgow on the 12th, 20th, 26th and 28th of August respectively.

In association with Empreo Events, Dosanjh will reveal his largest production yet on his 2022 tour. The shows will include a dazzling array of alluring visuals and never-before-seen production elements. After successfully completing the Indian leg of his ‘Born to Shine World Tour’, Diljit Dosanjh, then moved on to the next chapter of his tour – North America, where multiple records were broken. Dosanjh has now become the first ever Indian to perform at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena!

Furthermore, the 2018 ‘Con.Fi.Den.Tial’ tour broke records as the highest attended south Asian concert till date, at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham (formerly The Arena Birmingham). Dosanjh’s return to the UK for the ‘Born to Shine World Tour’ is undoubtedly going to break further records and provide an unforgettable and enjoyable experience for the whole family!

E d Sheeran was in India last month as part of his much-anticipated Mathematics Tour. The singer made the Mumbai crowd dance to his tunes at his concert. But what made the people go gaga was the special performance of Indian singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The two took over the stage and cooked up a storm that would stay forever in the minds of the attendees. The cherry on the cake was the international singer singing in Punjabi. Apparently, he was the one who suggested this idea and worked on his Punjabi speaking skills just a couple of days before their performance. Read on!

Diljit Dosanjh says Ed Sheeran rehearsed Punjabi for 3-4 days before the Mumbai concert

Diljit Dosanjh , who is currently gearing up for the release of his musical drama film Amar Singh Chamkila , was in a chat with Netflix India. During the conversation, he spoke about his epic performance with international singing sensation Ed Sheeran . During the interview, he revealed that it wasn’t his idea. According to him, Ed was very excited and he had rehearsed for two or three days.

The singer, actor and performer further added, “His band had made the song and sent it to us a week or 10 days in advance. Till the last minute, he felt that if he could not sing, I should carry on. I thought if he managed to sing in Punjabi, it would be the first time in his life that it would happen.”

Diljit and Ed were at a concert in Mumbai on March 16 where they performed a duet on the Punjabi singer’s song Lover. Talking about the crossover, Diljit added, “Nobody ever imagined Ed Sheeran would sing in Punjabi, so that was a big deal to me. On the stage too, I was just listening to him, I wanted him to sing more.”

He had also dropped the clip of Ed singing in Punjabi for the first time ever. The Udta Punjab actor captioned the video, “@teddysphotos 🇮🇳🇬🇧 Brother Singing in PANJABI for the First Time BURRAAAA. Chak deya Ge.”

They said Punjabis can’t do Illuminati, I said, I will do ‘Di-Luminati,'' Diljit Dosanjh said in Punjabi on stage, as roughly translated by Indian Express.

The video went viral and has since garnered over 8 million views in under 12 hours. One fan wrote, ''Thank you for paving the way for the entire community'' while another wrote, ''This feels so personal. You are an inspiration for a whole generation''.

Apart from his successful cameo in Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Tabu's Crew, Diljit Dosanjh is winning praises for his soul-stirring performance in Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila. Critics and audiences have called it his career best. Imtiaz Ali also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan called Dosanjh 'country's best actor'.
