Description:

This private boat tour of the Amalfi Coast from Naples it's one of the most beautiful and fun experiences that you can enjoy during your trip to Italy.

Together with your loved one or group of friends you will enjoy the intimacy of a private  luxury yacht for a truly unique experience.

Your private skipper will meet you at the port of Naples where you will board the private luxury yacht of your choice (contact us for other pick-up locations). This excursion is a wonderful way to see Amalfi and Positano if you are coming on a cruise or if you are staying in hotel in Naples. If you are on a cruise we can  meet you at the cruise terminal and transfer you to the pier where you will get onboard your private yacht (optional service) or we will give you directions to reach the point of embarkation on your own by taxi (about 20 min ride).

You will sail along this spectacular shoreline to see the most beautiful places: the ancient town of Amalfi , with its 12th century cathedral; Praiano , a village that remained unchanged in time;  Conca dei Marini , with the lover's arch made by nature in the rocks; the  Fjord of Furore and its hidden lagoon tucked between two cliffs; Li Galli Islands , a privately owned piece of paradise; Nerano , a small fishing village and finally Positano , the trendy town with colorful houses and lush vegetation climbing up the cliffs.

Along the way you will also have some time for sightseeing on the mainland : depending on your wishes (and subject to the timing of your cruise) we will stop to visit the towns of Amalfi and/or Positano and you will have about two hours to go around exploring on your own.

We will also stop for swimming in gorgeous spots that can be reached only from the sea. During the day there will be time to have lunch in a local restaurant to enjoy the delicious food in one of the towns along the coast. Lunch is not included in the price but we will be happy to book a restaurant for you.

This will be a private tour : you will not be part of a group, it will just be you and your party. The yacht and the private skipper will be entirely dedicated to you. The itinerary can be customized.

The price that you see when selecting the number of people is for our standard type of boat (25 feet - 7.6 mt) maximum for 6 people. It is possible to upgrade to bigger and more luxurious yachts by selecting the various choices in the options menu (inside the reservation box, in the upper right side of this page). Larger yachts up to 120 ft are available upon request.

All boats are equipped with toilet, kitchen, indoor and outdoor shower, stereo system. Onboard you will find; towels, drinks and snorkeling gear.

The meeting point is at the port of Naples (details will be emailed). The timing can be adjusted to fit the scedule of your cruise ship. If you wish to have a different meeting point and/or a private car transfer from the hotel to the port please contact us .

The tour is subject to weather and sea conditions. A full refund will be given if the tour needs to be cancelled when the weather conditions cannot guarantee the safety of the navigation.

Capri Island Boat Tour from the port of Naples

Our tour of the Amalfi Coast was fantastic as our boat captain showed us the area and dropped us off at different places for shopping and later for lunch. He always specially positioned the boat for my wife to take extra photographs of hidden little visual treasures along the way. When we said we wanted to swim, he found us an amazing secluded cove and we jumped off the back of the boat. There was a hose to shower off with when we got out and fresh towels waiting. Our captain was in communication with our driver who picked us up to take us to Pompeii where our tour guide was waiting and gave us an intimate look at the site. The entire day was seamless and it was such a relaxing day not worrying about what was next and knowing a team of people were coordinating to give us the best tour.

Andrea is a lifesaver! We booked a boat tour of the Amalfi coast with him, and the day before our tour, I discovered that I booked for the wrong date! The date I actually booked was to be the following day. However, Andrea came to the rescue and was able, within a few short hours, to remedy the situation. He was so kind and understanding. We are so grateful to him because we had a spectacular tour from Naples to Amalfi and Positano. Our skipper even brought some of his mothers homemade Limoncello for us! It was truly a special experience and I’m so grateful to Andrea for making it happen for us. He will be my “go to” for any Italy excursions in the future.

At the indicated time, we'll meet up at  Lungomare Francesco Caracciolo  and set off on this boat tour of the Gulf of Naples . All aboard!

As soon as we start sailing, we'll be able to see the famous Ovo Castle, one of the oldest buildings in the city . The boat trip will allow us to contemplate the breathtaking view of this imposing building from the sea. Get your cameras ready!

We'll begin with a captivating introduction to volcanology and the environment, unveiling the Gulf's hidden wonders . Delving into the castle's millennia-old history, we'll unravel the captivating tales of Virgil's egg and the siren Partenope.

As we skirt around it from the sea, Castel dell'Ovo will reveal its splendor from every perspective, offering a 360-degree view of its beauty.

To cap off our adventure, we'll head towards a charming seaside village and have a tasty aperitif on board. Sipping on a glass of wine while eating a fish aperitif, this authentic brunch becomes a toast to the enchantment of Naples .

The activity will come to an end back at the starting point after a total of 2 hours .

During the summer season (between May 1 and September 30), the tour also includes snorkeling equipment so you can admire the underwater beauty of the Gulf of Naples.

For those who love beautiful scenery then our number one place to visit is the famous Amalfi Coast , with free time in the towns of Ravello , Amalfi and Positano .  This is a full day tour like no other; every part of the coast road offers a new and spectacular view. Below, crystal blue Mediterranean sea and towering above, emerald green mountains. The town of Ravello has two amazing gardens to visit, one within the Villa Rufolo and the other at Villa Cimbrone . The town itself has an elegant feel with a couple of souvenir shops and quaint cafes and right in the middle of the main piazza is the Cathedral - in Italian 'Duomo' -  the spiritual and social center of Ravello, built in the 11th Century with a combination of Baroque and Romanesque styles. In Amalfi we find the magnificient building of St Andrews Cathedral which dominates the main square with its dramatic flight of over 60 steps to the entrance and its facade brilliant with mosaics. Pretty Positano showers down the mountainside, explore its alleys which are crammed with cafes and boutiques.

Options and alternative tour itineraries from Naples
