Groundbreaking Soundtrack’s Incredible Fusion of Orchestra, Turntables, Scratch DJ and Electronics Performed Live
LOS ANGELES – JUNE 13, 2023 – An all-new national tour launching August 27 in Jacksonville, Florida will bring fans in more than 60 cities a whole new way to experience their favorite box office hit Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse . I am ridiculously excited for fans around the country to see their very first Spider-Verse concert later this year.”
The hip-hop infused film score contains original music showcasing elements of heroism, resilience and is complemented by song contributions from industry greats Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Jaden Smith and Nicki Minaj.

SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE LIVE IN CONCERT to Launch US Tour
Audiences will see the film presented on a huge HD screen, accompanied by a range of musicians and instrumentalists performing music.
Building on the success of sold out shows worldwide, a new 50+ city U.S. tour will kick off the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga. The highly-anticipated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert will tour the U.S. starting September 1 in Nashville, TN. The show will first premiere in London on June 30th before touring the UK and then make its U.S. debut this fall.
The films have become a sensation for their incredible and ground-breaking soundtracks which have been heralded for their unique mix of orchestral and electronic music, and scratch DJ'ing.
In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert audiences will see the film presented on a huge HD screen, accompanied by a range of musicians and instrumentalists performing music from the film's score and soundtrack live to picture. This will include an orchestra, a scratch DJ on turntables, percussion and electronic instruments.
The score for the film was created by Emmy-winning and Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated composer, Daniel Pemberton, known for his work on movies such as Ferrari, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Oceans 8, Enola Holmes, The Bad Guys and Steve Jobs .
Pemberton took influence for both Spider-Verse film scores from growing up amid the London rave scene in the 90s, where he regularly immersed himself in ambient and techno nights. Daniel also drew inspiration from the scratch DJ's at The Blue Note Club in East London, where he first witnessed scratching vinyl being used in an artistic form. This, coupled with heavy-drumming and punk guitars, gives the soundtrack its unique sound, fusing genres to make something bold and unparalleled which will be brought to life in an exhilarating style in these live concerts.
"Across The Spider-Verse is probably the most exciting, ground breaking and impactful score I've written," says Pemberton. "I've always believed that there should be no barriers to music, but it's rare to get the opportunity that you get within the Spider-Verse - where else could you have powerful orchestral themes side by side with punk drum solos, virtuoso record scratching next to twisted electronics, off-kilter whistling next to hip-hop beats?"
The film's soundtrack was curated by Metro Boomin, and features the likes of Future, Nas, Swae Lee, James Blake , Lil Wayne , Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
Pemberton says, "Watching the film with the live band performing in a huge room of people is one of the most thrilling ways to experience it and it's a huge honor to know that audiences are going to get a show that delivers a unique emotional hit they will hopefully remember for a long, long time after."
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse's very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask - it's how you wear it that makes you a hero.
Sony Pictures Animation/ Columbia Pictures ' Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson. It was written by Phil Lord & Chris Miller & David Callaham, based on the MARVEL COMICS. Phil Lord , Christopher Miller , Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg served as producers with Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman, Aditya Sood and Brian Michael Bendis serving as executive producers. The film features the voices of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld , Brian Tyree Henry , Luna Lauren Velez , Jake Johnson , Jason Schwartzman , Issa Rae , Karan Soni, with Daniel Kaluuya and Oscar Isaac .
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a critically acclaimed and box office smash hit, grossing $690.9 million worldwide, making it Sony Pictures Animation's highest-grossing film of all-time. 'Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse Live in Concert' Announces Tour Dates
G et ready, web-heads, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is returning to screens! On Monday, it was announced that after the success of last year's live orchestral concert tour of Into the Spider-Verse , its sequel will be getting the same treatment with a 50+ U.S. city tour.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: Live in Concert will kick off in London on June 30, before touring the rest of the United Kingdom. The tour will then make its U.S. debut in the fall, starting on Sept. 1 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Audiences will get to watch Across the Spider-Verse presented on a HD screen, accompanied by a range of musicians and instrumentalists performing music from the film's score and soundtrack live to picture. This will include an orchestra, a scratch DJ on turntables, percussion and electronic instruments.
" Across The Spider-Verse is probably the most exciting, ground breaking and impactful score I've written," says the Emmy-winning composer, Daniel Pemberton, who created the film's score. "I've always believed that there should be no barriers to music, but it's rare to get the opportunity that you get within the Spider-Verse -- where else could you have powerful orchestral themes side by side with punk drum solos, virtuoso record scratching next to twisted electronics, off-kilter whistling next to hip-hop beats?"
A press release shares that the Oscar-nominated composer took influence for both Spider-Verse film scores from "growing up amid the London rave scene in the 90s, where he regularly immersed himself in ambient and techno nights." He also drew inspiration from "the scratch DJ's at The Blue Note Club in East London, where he first witnessed scratching vinyl being used in an artistic form. This, coupled with heavy-drumming and punk guitars, gives the soundtrack its unique sound, fusing genres to make something bold and unparalleled which will be brought to life in an exhilarating style in these live concerts."
"Watching the film with the live band performing in a huge room of people is one of the most thrilling ways to experience it and it's a huge honor to know that audiences are going to get a show that delivers a unique emotional hit they will hopefully remember for a long, long time after," Pemberton adds.
Across the Spider-Verse shows Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) meeting more Spider-People as he reunites with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) for a new adventure. This time, he's battling the multiverse-traversing The Spot and dealing with an adversary that hits closer to home -- Oscar Isaac's Miguel O'Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099 and his Spider-Force of multiverse protectors, which includes Issa Rae's Jessica Drew , Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya), and Spider-Man India (Karan Soni).
Metro Boomin curated the film's beloved soundtrack, which features appearances from Future, Nas, Swae Lee, James Blake, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert and more.

Teams have made their big splashes in free agency and made their draft picks, it's time for you to do the same. It's fantasy football mock draft time. Some call this time of year best ball season, others know it's an opportunity to get a leg up on your competition for when you have to draft in August. The staff at Yahoo Fantasy did their first mock draft of the 2024 season to help you with the latter. Matt Harmon and Andy Behrens are here to break it all down by each round and crush some staff members in the process.

The duo break down the rankings in six tiers: Elite offensive ecosystems, teams on the cusp of being complete mixed bag ecosystems, offensive ecosystems with something to prove, offenses that could go either way, and offenses that are best to stay away from in fantasy.

Spider-man: into the spider verse in concert.
Tune your spidey senses into a web of intricately-woven live music in this bold event that brings the film’s score and soundtrack to life alongside the film.
Shown on a giant screen and accompanied by a unique fusion of live orchestra, turntables and percussion playing the music from the score and soundtrack, this is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse like you’ve never seen it before.
A Sony Pictures Animation production, the film introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
The music score for the box office hit was composed by Academy Award®-nominee, multiple Golden Globe®-nominee and Emmy-winning composer Daniel Pemberton, known for his work on films and series such as The Man From U.N.C.L.E. , Oceans 8 and The Bad Guys .
The hip-hop-based film score contains original song contributions from industry greats Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Jaden Smith and Nicki Minaj.
As Daniel Pemberton said of the concert, ‘ Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of my favourite scores I’ve ever written. Utilising a full orchestra, crazy electronics and unbelievable turntable scratching techniques amongst a million other things, it is so technically complex I never thought we’d ever be able to actually reproduce it in a live concert, but somehow, we have.’
