Belfast's travel solutions sets out expansion plans following stellar 2023.

Northern Irish operator Travel Solutions has spelled out its expansion plans following 20% growth in turnover this year.

Travel Solutions will increase capacity for its summer charter programme by up to 15% and offer a raft of new options, including Venice and Menorca from Belfast.

Travel Solutions has also recruited five new staff over the past year, with plans to add several more. 

“We’ve had a great year, thanks to great destinations and great loyalty from our travel agency partners and our clients,” said owner and managing director Peter McMinn.

“That’s why we have made the commitment to increase our capacity by up to 15% from our summer charter business, and our new destinations for 2024, bringing more holiday choice to Northern Ireland.”

As part of the expanded schedule, Travel Solutions will also offer new options from Belfast to Reus, opening up the Costa Dorada, Salou and Portaventura, and to Lisbon from 11 May to 14 September.

This is in addition to services from Derry to Faro from 20 May to 26 August and Belfast to Verona. The operator is also launching ski tours in Bulgaria, Austria and Romania for the 2023/24 season.

Travel Solutions Expands Belfast City Charter Services with New Reus Route

Leading tour operator, Travel Solutions, has announced the further expansion of its charter service schedule from Belfast City Airport with the launch of a new route to the historic city of Reus.

This news follows the recent introductions of Venice and Menorca to Travel Solutions’ services, along with the confirmed return of the popular Palma de Mallorca route.

All Travel Solutions charters are currently available to book online for summer 2024.

Katy Best, Commercial Director at Belfast City Airport, said:

“We are thrilled to see Travel Solutions expand its charter service schedule from Belfast City Airport with the launch of this route to Reus.

“Reus is a remarkable destination, known for its historic charm and culture, and the charter offers travellers a gateway to explore not only Reus itself but its neighbouring destinations, including the vibrant and bustling city of Barcelona, the beautiful coastal town of Salou and the ancient port of Tarragona.

“Our partnership with Travel Solutions is based on a shared commitment to providing passengers with enhanced travel options to a wide variety of exciting destinations, and we have no doubt this charter will prove very popular amongst travellers wanting to explore the very best the beautiful Spanish province of Tarragona has to offer.”

Travel Solutions’ charter flights to Reus from Belfast City Airport are set to commence on 15 th June 2024.

The Venice service will take off on 4 th June 2024, with the Menorca route beginning on 27 th June and flights to Palma de Mallorca starting from 27 th June.

I have dealt with Travel Solutions on a number of occasions and can gladly say they have been excellent every time.The firm offers a wide range of coach tours, entertainment breaks and day trips to places, but the main use to me was their sports tours. As everyone in Northern Ireland knows, the standard of our football league isn't great to say the least, which leads to everyone ending up supporting an English team if they want to pursue quality ( or else one of two Scottish teams if they don't care about quality but they do love sectarian hatred!) Me and my big brother have been huge Man Utd supporters from the age of 4 years old, but untill a few years ago we had never been to see them because our Dad is amotor nut and hates football with a passion!That is when we decided to take things into our own hands! I have now been 4 different trips in the last year with Travel Solutions and they have improved their operations on the coachs immeasurably.The buses used to go via Dublin but now go straight from Belfast to Liverpool which saves a lot of time being cooped up! The trips are reasonably priced, for example for £159 my brother and I went to see the Champions League quarter final this year.The trip includes match ticket, all coach transfer, hotel for the night and free meal on re-entry to the hotel and breakfast in the morning.You could never get this kind of value yourself! Also all the tickets are season tickets, which means better seats and 10% off in the Superstore!On the occasion my girlfriend and I went to see Utd play Everton I was right at the corner flag, and got about 50 texts from my mates who seen me on TV abusing me for looking like I was taking a picture of John O Shea's arse! I would do it again any day!!! The bus guides are friendly and only to eager to help advice you, so if you are wanting a sports tour to Manchester, look no further than Travel solutions!

As Declan said "You could never get this kind of value yourself". €250 pp booked a week and a half before the game for...Coach collection at Irish Ferries port, boat to Hollyhead, transfer to Novetel Hotel, Worsley, Manchester, dinner that evening, accommodation, breakfast the following morning, transfers to Old Trafford and back to the hotel, another dinner, a second night's accommodation, breakkie in the morning then the return transfers, a quick stop for cheap shopping in Wales, back on the boat and back to Irish Ferries port. The guide, Bobby, was so friendly and helpful, he was very informative and open to questions. This is a very slick service, probably because they have been doing it for so many years. I wouldn't hesitate to use Travel Solutions again for another football trip.

Had a great trip to the Royal Welsh Show last week. Our tour guide Alistair was great and made sure everything ran on time. Nothing was to much trouble. Our coach driver Gordon was brilliant and he was very helpful. Hotel and staff were good.

She made everything so simple and was able to get everything changed for us. Leah took a great deal of worry off my shoulders. Thank you Leah. You were both caring and empathetic. I'm just back from my holiday and it went great, everything went to plan and I really could not recommend Rosetta travel enough for a stress free holiday - I'll certainly be back to get another holiday sorted!

Booked our holiday to Lanzarote. Staff were very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book another holiday with them this year.

Travels Solutions expands Belfast City charter services with new Reus route

Leading tour operator, Travel Solutions, has announced the further expansion of its charter service schedule from Belfast City Airport with the launch of a new route to the historic city of Reus.

This news follows the recent introductions of Venice and Menorca to Travel Solutions’ services, along with the confirmed return of the popular Palma de Mallorca route.

All Travel Solutions charters are currently available to book online for summer 2024.
