QUADMANIAC TURKEY

“QUADMANIACTURKEY” is the first and only private beginner/test driving track in Fethiye, we will ensure you have an unforgettable driving experience full of fun and adrenaline with our brand new 2020 model ATV bikes on our fun track especially designed for you by our professional team in the forest area of Ölüdeniz-Hisarönü-Ovacık region.

We invite you on an adventurous atv excursion.

You will be collected from your hotel and taken to our novice practice park, where your professional guide will give you detailed information about the excursion and information on the quad bike.

Then you’ll have a test drive, which takes about 15 minutes. Our guests, who have successfully passed the test drive, start driving towards the forest area in a convoy accompanied by an experienced trail guide.

After approximately 45 minutes of forest driving which will be full excitement, there will be a short break for both listening to area information and taking beautiful view photos.

After a short break, it’s time to return back to base back along the forest road.

All of our quad bikes are 200cc and full automatic, they are maintained and serviced by an authorised and professional company to ensure you have a comfortable driving experience. Our quad biking excursion team will guarantee you have a fun, adventurous and enjoyable time and will help you spend time away from all the stress!

You must hold a full driving licence and be 17 years of age to participate in single or couple excursion, however minimum age of 7 years can participate in as a couple.

Hanuman Travel’s popular quad bike safari tour gives you the opportunity to explore Fethiye’s rugged terrain and off-road trails from a different and exciting perspective.

Our ATV safari tours take place at four different times during the day, so you can choose which one best fits in with your holiday plans. Whichever you choose, we pick you up from your accommodation and drive to the starting point in beautiful unspoilt Kayaköy with its awesome scenery, pine forests and historical sites.

After a short test drive and training on how to use the automatic, 4x4, 200cc all-terrain vehicle, you begin your four wheel drive adventure. Our safari tour, which is off-road, passes through the forests and rugged landscapes of Kayaköy. As the tour does not use public roads, you are not required to hold a driver's license or have previous experience.

These tours are a great opportunity for you and your loved ones. Our ATVs are suitable for solo drivers or with the driver and one passenger.  

Your ATV Safari Tour lasts for about three hours (120 minutes). This includes the one and a half hours (90 minutes) you spend exploring on the quad-bike. At the end of the tour, our transfer vehicles will return you to your accommodation.

For those who love a little more action than the beach and poolside will allow, a morning or afternoon on the quad bikes is the perfect solution.  The base for quad biking is in Olu Deniz, just a short journey from Fethiye.  The route incorporates many degrees of difficulty, together with extensive views over Olu Deniz beach and the blue lagoon.  Away from it all and still within easy distance of the sea you will climb the dusty roads and specially prepared tracks along the way. 

Up in the mountains between Olu Deniz and the resort of Hisaronu lies the ghost village of Kayakoy.  This also is part of the quad biking route, with its abandoned houses, all that remains of this village are the stone walls.  The rooves and window and door frames have been removed over the last one hundred years since its abandonment.

Here Christians and Muslims once lived happily side by side.  The narrow cobbled streets still exist and the shells of once thriving churches stand sentinel along the way.  When the Greek members of the village were called for repatriation to Greece, the Muslim Turks were so moved that many accompanied them down to the harbour in Fethiye to say their goodbyes.  Their houses remained empty and eventually the entire village fell to stone ruins.  The only visitors to the village today are tourists who are hiking or parking up their ATVs to take a closer look at this picturesque ruin of what was once perhaps the epitome of mans ability to live together in harmony together.

Fethiye Quad Biking Program

Tours are available multiple timesin the day and you can choose the time of day that suits you best.  Your exact pick up times will be based on your choice of time and allocated according to your location.  Whilst transfer is included in the cost of your ticket for guests staying in Oludeniz, Hisaronu and Ovacik there will be surcharge for transfers from Fethiye or Calis Beach.  The total length of the excursion is approximately 2.5 hours from pick up to drop off.

After you have been taken to the ATV centre in Oludeniz you will receive a brief instruction on how to operate your vehicle before you set off up the mountain towards Kaya Koyu.  You will ride both on and off road as you journey ever higher.  After a brief stop at the locally named ‘Ghost Village’ you will set off again through the forests and driving past historical mouments along the way. You will be enchanted by the deep azure of the sea, coupled with the emerald green of the pines before driving once more down to the base at Oludeniz.

How much is Fethiye Quad Biking?

Cost of Fethiye Quad Safari is 25 € for single quad vehicle, 30 € for double quad vehicle in 2024. Ride lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Do i have to have experience to drive?

You may drive solo or tandem on the quads.  No experience is necessary as you will be given tuition at the base on arrival.  You do not need a driving licence to drive one of the ATVs on this tour. 

Once you have had basic tuition with our professional guide, you travel in convoy up through the mountains and along the quad route, with one guide in front and another flanking the convoy.  Should you have any difficulties the guides will be instantly there by your side.

When can i go?

The tour goes out three times a day, morning, daytime and and afternoon, for seven days a week throughout the summer season and even throughout the winter when the weather and numbers allow.

What does my ticket price include?

Your ticket includes use of the ATV for the duration of the tour, plus insurance and professional guide throughout.  A safety helmet is provided by the company, and tuition before heading out.

What should i wear?

It’s a great idea to wear your swimsuit beneath shorts and T shirt.  Do not wear good or white clothing.  This tour will involve a wet and dry driving experience.  Sunglasses or driving goggles are recommended, as is a bandana or handkerchief to be used as a dust shield.

What do i bring with me?

Do bring some money for the purchase of drinks or snacks.  There will be an action photographer with you throughout your tour and you may also wish to purchase any pictures that take your fancy.

Feel free to bring your own camera if you wish but do remember to keep it in a waterproof bag as the tour will include driving through water.

Lastly, wear good footwear that will stay on your feet even through the roughest terrain.

Is it for me and my family?

As a half day tour, even if you can barely tear yourself away from the sunbed, this is enough to experience another side of your holiday resort. Under 17s are not allowed to ride solo on the quads, but can ride with another adult driving.

Transportation services for the activity are provided for pickup and drop-off from Ölüdeniz, Ovacık, and Hisarönü. However, there is no pickup and drop-off service available from Fethiye. Participants who are located in Fethiye will need to make their own way to the Quad station.

Young people under the age of 17 cannot ride ATVs, but they can join the tour as a passenger behind the driver.

Since speeding is strictly prohibited for the protection of all drivers, participants are required to comply with all safety regulations and rules during the tour.

It is not appropriate to join the ATV tour with slippers. You need sturdy sneakers.

Having got that out of the way this is a great tourist destination and provides wonderful views over Kemer and surrounding beach resorts. You can get here by public bus (55 TL from Goynuk or 30 TL from Kemer or Tekirova.) You can also buy tickets and a transfer from Kemer booking office or, of course, book a tour with one of the many operators. If arriving by bus you will need the transfer from the main road to the base station (7km) 100 TL return.( or you could walk it!) We arrived at midday and were told the shuttle ran every hour but 15 mins later it arrived and took us to the base station. The driver was excellent and told us his return schedule but also said if we were ready early he would take us back. If you buy tickets ag the base station they are sold in Euro or USD and converted to TL as the inflation rate is high. In peak season there are queues to board the cable car which holds about 80 people. The trip up takes 10 mims and you are rewarded with great views across the local area. On our day there was cloud forming and dispersing so some patience needed for the photos. You can eat in the restaurants at the top (quite expensive in comparison to other local outlets) and even Parascend for 180USD. Half an hour at the top is plenty unless eating and don't forget that it's about 20 C colder at the top so take suitable extra layers. It can be snowing at the top in winter. We were told a renowned chef on board to prepare lunch. What we got beer cheap vodka or cheap wine. Bar stops serving when stoped for an hour at Turunç even though guests didn't disembark. Lunch was cold chicken breast cold macaroni and salad with one slice of bread no butter mind you. They do provide cold fries if your willing to pay 100tl or $6 Australia same for the potato chop $6 and ice cream. And all the the other snack they sell on board are ridiculously expensive. The animation show the promised was 4 guys dancing around 🤣 all in all was disappointing. I suggest bring your own snacks and alcohol and just get pay for the boat tour. Arrived at first stop 20 minutes if swimming then back to the boat. May I add all sun loungers where taken at top if the boat so was forced to sit down stairs, which was even more chaotic as families where somehow allowed to take up 8 seats because they where all laying sleeping in the booths (absoloute ignorance) lunch= awful. And if you didn't like it you had to pay for more food! Ridiculous. Them we went to turtle beach where we seen 1 whole turtle. The whole turtle beach aspect is an absoloute con. The Kings tombs, little to no information or history behind it just a quick stop to look at them. The mud baths, absolutely awful we seen maggots in it. AVOID. The old buggies are fun but don't expect to go over 10mph as it's a safari group thing, aimed solely at photo opportunity stops. They setup watermud areas which is fun. You WILL get covered so be warned, ha ha. As a group we bought £100 of pics (was originally £260). The pics we got on WeTransfer are so poor none can be printed. Each pic is less than 1mb which is very low quality. This was not what we were shown on site so we felt completely ripped off. Beautiful picturesque surroundings. Lots to see and even got to feed the turtles! Did an ‘AI’ however, this DID NOT include any drinks or ice creams just a basic pre plated lunch! (Jupiters Tour +90 542 802 4798) I was lied too. I was told that it was a 5.00am start as its a good three hours away, the bus fare was included as was breakfast and lunch, entrance fees and insurance was included. See pictures. Firstly, the coach never turned up, so I had to call and see what was happening. It appears....or so I was told, the coach went to the wrong hotel ?? Breakfast was a joke, but willing to overlook that one as Lunch was brilliant. 10 minutes away from Ephesus and the guide (Pictured) came round asking for 400 lira, about £16.00 for the entrance fee. I explained I was told that I had paid as this was included, but still had to pay. Went back to the tourist booth and the seller claimed it was a mistake and even though is clearly says entrance fee IS included ....it wasn't. I never got my 400 lira back...... so just be aware you may not get whats promised. You will be in the hands of experienced professional instructors who will provide you with training and a safety briefing before getting out on the bikes, and you will be provided with the relevant safety gear and equipment.

What should I wear to go quad biking?

It is a good idea to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing, ideally with long trousers and long sleeves. Trainers are the recommended footwear for quad biking. It is also a good idea to wear older clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, as quad biking can get wet and muddy.

Is quad biking good for groups?

Quad biking is a fantastic group activity for groups of sufficient sizes it is possible to book out an entire event. Whether you are planning a stag or hen do, or just looking for a great group activity for friends, this is a fantastic choice. Do I need a driving license for quad biking?

Our quad biking experiences typically take place on private land and in the countryside, where a driving license is not required. It is only if you are driving a quad bike on a road that you are required to have a full UK driving license.

Do I need experience to ride a quad bike?

No, beginners are completely welcome at quad biking experience days. You will be provided with advice and guidance on how to drive them from professional instructors as well as given time to practice on the bikes.

Is there a weight limit?

Quad bikes are very sturdy pieces of equipment that are able to handle heavy riders, however there are specific weight limits varying from bike to bike. Typically the maximum weight for quad biking is between 16 and 20 stone - get in contact with us before booking if you or one of your party is over 16 stone.

Are there age restrictions?

This depends entirely on the venue and type of quad biking activity. There may be a minimum age between 11 and 18. And typically, even if those under 16 years old are permitted, they need to be accompanied by an adult. We also have quad biking sessions specifically for kids. Get in contact with us if your party includes children and you need more information.

Is this activity weather dependent?

Quad biking can be just as much fun in the rain, however its sunny most of the time. In the event that cancellation is necessary, you will be provided with as much notice as possible and the operator will make arrangements with you.

Can you go quad biking when pregnant?

Quad biking is an extreme sport which can be very bumpy, and despite all the safety precautions in place there is still an element of risk. Therefore quad biking while pregnant is not recommended.

How long do sessions last?

We have everything from transfering you to Kayaköy from your Hotel to field then it takes about 2 hours in total 1 hour of the session spend riding the bikes.
