Gaga’s latest Ball follows the Born This Way Ball, which the pop singer launched in April 2012 after releasing her Born This Way album in 2011. However, that international tour was cut short due to a hip injury earlier this year, with 20 dates in total canceled as a result. The Born This Way Ball was the sixth-highest-grossing tour of 2012 , with a total gross exceeding $124 million and 65 sold-out dates that year, per Billboard Boxscore.

ARTPOP , Gaga’s follow-up to Born This Way , debuted at No. 1 last month on the Billboard 200 chart with 258,000 copies sold in its first frame, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Before the ARTPOP Ball is thrown, Gaga will close out New York’s historic Roseland Ballroom, performing the final seven shows at the venue from March 28 to April 7.

Eccentric and outrageously theatrical pop songstress Lady Gaga (born Stefani Germanotta) has found international acclaim through her exuberant dance-pop anthems that have stormed the charts in several countries.

With the flamboyance of Madonna, David Bowie, and Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga has become a true pop diva of the post-millennial age, putting out countless hits and pushing the boundaries of fashion through her unique aesthetic.

Gaga initially found a love of performance through drama, pursuing musical theater in high school and at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Gaga initially signed with Def Jam in 2006, but the contract was short-lived. Nevertheless, after gaining positive attention with her act, Lady Gaga & The Starlight Revue, alongside burlesque star Lady Starlight, Gaga garnered the interest of Interscope Record and their subsidiary label Kon Live.

In 2008, her first album The Fame stormed to global success. Featuring the hit singles, "Just Dance," "LoveGame" and "Poker Face," Gaga initially found greater success in Europe, dominating club playlists. Gaga soon climbed to the top of the US charts and abroad, achieving several number one singles. With "Poker Face," she was awarded her first Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

In 2009, Gaga released The Fame Monster, an expanded reissue of her debut album. With new singles like "Bad Romance," "Alejandro," and "Telephone," a duet with Beyoncé, The Fame Monster continued to keep Gaga at the top of the charts.

In 2011, Gaga returned with new music, releasing her second album, Born This Way, featuring the top ten singles "Born This Way," "Judas," and "The Edge of Glory." Gaga promoted the album through extensive tours internationally, as well as appearing on an endless list of television programs.

Gaga followed up Born This Way in 2013 with Artpop, her third studio album, which topped international charts. Gaga's next move was an interesting change of direction: a collaborative album alongside legendary vocalist and personal friend Tony Bennett. The two released an album of jazz duets titled Cheek to Cheek in 2014.

By 2015, Lady Gaga would level up her career – and her longtime dreams – with a move into a whole new medium. Her debut as a leading lady came in her iconic performance as the vampiric hotelier of American Horror Story: Hotel. Easily carrying the fan-favorite TV show as the owner of a haunted hospitality spot in downtown Los Angeles, she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film. This out-the-gate thespian triumph would lead to much, much more.

Lady Gaga released her next album, Joanne, in 2016. The title track, an ode to her aunt, hit number one on the Billboard charts. A few months after Joanne’s October release, Gaga went on to headline the 2017 Super Bowl LI Halftime Show, famously performing with an array of drones in one of her most mesmerizing appearances to date. Two months after bringing the football world to its feet, Gaga headlined the Coachella festival, once again wowing the audience with her power and energy.

Never one to rest, 2018 would find Lady Gaga combine her prowess as a movie star and music superstar with her leading role in the remake of the classic 1937 Janet Gaynor movie A Star is Born. Not only did she deliver a rousing portrayal of a struggling songwriter, she also co-wrote each of the film’s songs with costar Bradley Cooper.

The soundtrack of A Star is Born reached number one on the Billboard charts. For her on-screen performance, Gaga earned Best Actress nominations from the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards and BAFTA Awards. On the music side, Gaga won Best Original Song from the Academy Award, Golden Globe Awards, and Critics' Choice Awards.

Mixing things up once again, Lady Gaga settled into a Las Vegas residency from 2018 to 2022. Here she played selections from the Great American Songbook as well as her own hits to sold-out-crowds performance after performance. Between performances, she still found time to record. She released her studio album Chromatica in 2020, which became her sixth number one record in a row.

At the tumultuous beginning of 2021, Lady Gaga performed on one of the most important stages of her career, belting out “The Star Spangled Banner” at President Joe Biden’s Inaugural Celebration. Later that year, she also released a second jazz collection with Tony Bennett called Love for Sale.

Gaga returned to acting, starring in the biopic House of Gucci in late 202. In early 2022, she the song “Hold My Hand” for the film Top Gun: Maverick. That same year also brought news of an upcoming starring role in the sequel to the Joaquin Phoenix supervillain film Joker, where she will star as the DC Comics’ villainess Harley Quinn, reprising the role made famous by Margot Robbie in the Suicide Squad series.

Live reviews

If Lady Gaga and her fans were a couple, they would be that couple: that loved-up pair of paramours in your life always making uncomfortable public displays of affection and loudly declaring their love – and, on occasion, screaming out from the upper reaches of an arena that "oh my God, I love your bum!". That couple who dress the same – sometimes in meat, mostly in sequins – and can't tear their googly eyes off each other, and who you just want to tell to "get a room!" When they do just that, as they did in Allphones Arena this Saturday night for the Sydney leg of Gaga's ArtRave tour, it's a big messy mutual lovefest. Gaga (Stefani Germanotta) doesn't just dedicate a song to her 'little monsters', or tell them they are "one of the most authentic fanbases of the new millennium", she pauses mid-song during Dope – "I need you more than dope" – to repeat lines that underline just how important they are to their queen. She schools them in her love. The ArtRave set was suitably elaborate. And the costumes were as fabulous as you would hope for: Gaga changed on stage at one point into a multi-coloured fluoro Harajuku number; sang Paparazzi (gorgeously) as she was strangled by what appeared to be the spawn of a Dalmatian and a giant squid; and opened the night in a golden leotard with a blue orb protruding from her chest and golden wings spreading out from her back. The tiny woman inside the outfits was a revelation: that huge voice soaring above the mess of noise in big numbers like Bad Romance and Alejandro. She was especially strong when settled at her white piano – on Dope, tears dropped from her face as she gave her arena full of fans pretty much everything, and a pared-back Born This Way gave the song the heft that its pro-LGBTQI message deserves. Were moments like Do What U Want, when Gaga sat like a queen and the bum-complimenter behind us screamed out "You are such a b---h!" and we knew it was the nicest thing you could say at such a moment. And then there was the moment of the night, when Gaga sorted through the toys and tat thrown at her feet and plucked out a letter. It was from a kid that she had encouraged to come out of the closet, despite his concern about how his parents might react. "Through your music you've helped and set free many people," he wrote, now happily out, embraced by his parents, and thankful for Gaga's help. The arena cameras honed in on him, and so did Gaga, telling her people to make sure he was backstage later. Then she firmly repeated the order – make sure he's there. Great bum, great heart, very good show.

You're not supposed to do this kind of show at Wrigley Field. Gaga did. Moving platforms, hydralic staging, dancers, fire throwers, explosives. Gagag delivered a set that began at 8:30pm until just before the alloted 11pm must-end, and filled it to the brim. Lady Gaga held court over an audience that might not have gone to Wrigley before. We've been there for Tom Petty, the Dead, Elton John, Billy Joel, Paul MacCartney, James Taylor and Jackson Browne; Gaga just became THE biggest deal there.

Gaga is iconic...and lets you damn well know it. She donned a Cubs jersey, acknowledge her role as the firsr female act to headline Wrigley and with a slew of costume changes, blew the joint apart. Rarely does any act own the whole audience; she has that live "IT" power; all the hits, some of "Joanne" and enough banter and personalizing of every number to make it worthy of recording like the Grateful Dead: it's honed to that stage, that show, that moment. It's the living difference between recorded and live art.

Some costuming got twisted up and she kept singing, dancers unfeeling her, and when her contact mike was clearly dead, she kept playing her guitar intro as a dancer moved in with a mike without missing a beat: THAT, kids, is the sign of a pro. Stellar. Superb. A little schmaltzy with some very theatrical presentation, but if schmaltz is this good, love it to death. WE don't have a Judy Garland anymore; we don't have a young Streisand who could deliver the sounds, range and furious precision of a Gaga; just GO.

Opening act of her DJ was one hour of loud, often too-profane "meh." One person near us said, "there's othing more boring than watching a DJ." True, dat.

This is the second time I have been to see Lady Gaga she is such an inspirational Artist, I went to see her perform live in Birmingham at the NIA this year,(2014) Not only is her performance top quality but her showmanship is for me the best in the business. Lady Gaga put in a lot of effort into every aspect of her live performances, she designed the set and stage layout to maximise the ordinance participation. It was a even balance of her vast catalogue of work from Just dance right through to Artpop. The minute the curtain fell I felt a tingling sensation down my spine, This was something I had been looking forward to for some time for buying the ticket on line to the show its self. You maybe sitting there woundeering why I called her an inspirational artist? This is for two reasons the first is the artist bit Lady Gaga describes her self as an artist the inspirational bit is the fact that she has not only produced one of the most inspiring songs of all time Born this way but on the night of the show a young fan threw a note on stage, now Gaga could have simply given that note to someone and read it after the show, but she didn't, after reading part of the note to her self she realised how important she had been to helping the fan get through a difficult time for them and so not only did she read the note out loud but had the fan come on stage to help her sing one of her songs, yes, you guessed it Born this way and if one person can change, inspire and improve the life of others through her music then that someone is lady Gaga and that is why I get such a thrill seeing her live.

It isn’t a lie when someone walks over to you and tells you that Gaga is amazing live, honestly it was such a good show! She provided us little monsters with a mix of older hits from previous albums (The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way & Artpop) such as Applause, Alejandro, Bloody Mary (that was a real crowd pleaser!) and of course you can’t forget about Just Dance, Paparazzi, Poker Face and Bad Romance!

As well as having a great variety on her setlist, she also ensured that the choreography was level with the setlist, giving us the most energetic and fun dance routines in which made us all want to dance too! P.S. her dance crew are just so talented, let’s just appreciate that for a few minutes!

And to round this review up, her stage layout was made with little monsters in mind, Gaga made sure that she could get around the whole arena to be near all her fans, which shows just how loving she is towards us! (If you don’t know what the stage layout is like, here’s a short description:

“The full layout consisted of a very dynamic and kinetic main stage, three flying bridge platforms which double as projection displays, two satellite stages and an LED integrated b-stage.” - TAIT (the builders of the stage/s)

Although we expect big from Gaga, I don’t think anyone expected this BIG! She really blew us away, and all the time and effort that has gone into this your has truely been worth it, with the majority of her concerts selling out! (Cannot give specifics as her Tour has not finished yet).

I attended Lady Gaga's concert in Birmingham on the 15th of October, I was a holder of a VIP Artpop Zone meet and greet ticket. The experience during the concert was amazing, she sang in front of us most of the time, unfortunately backstage I was expecting a little bit more, yes she was with us more than an hour talking, but we were a large group of 20 people and there were 2 particular people at ours who acted as if no one else had paid for it. They should have just gone around the room and asked everyone individually for a question. On several times I tried to draw the conversation back to our side of the room, as they seemed to have created the whole meet centred around a particular area. Gaga is too polite, but I could tell she wanted someone else to speak because she kept looking at other people and saying 'has anyone else got any questions?. All in all, my experience was great but I was expecting more backstage, I had a VERY RUSHED picture taken and then BYE. Perhaps is not Gaga's fault but it is annoying that her team had rushed things. I love this woman with every fiber of my being, and I paid four months' rent for this. I have mixed feelings. Not having a minute to talk to Gaga in private for the amount of money we paid put me a little down as well. When the photo was sent to my e-mail I felt a little bit better though. I did it because it was my dream to meet her, but I've learned my lesson and will not spend the amount of money I did again. It's is for sure one of the my best experiences ever!

I had one of the most amazing experiences going to a Lady Gaga show a while back. It was a bit like going to a Broadway show, a Circus, a dance club and a crazy Rave! The combination of all of these different occasions was something I had never felt at a concert before. Seeing 'Mother Monster' live was more of an experience than just a musical concert.

I believe the Little Monsters (that's what she calls her fans) are such a unique crowd, with people from all walks of life, all ages, and all lifestyles. It was a people-watching extravaganza!! And then the show itself, my goodness, so many things happening, so many stage props, so many dancers, and oh how amazing the dancing was. Mesmerizing and picturesque. And then on top of all that throw in the insane costumes and the stage props, along with a light show that complimented every aspect. Truly a piece of art in a way. As I say, it just seems so much more than just a concert experience, it feels like a combination of so many things.

The only time I have felt close to this, was way back at a Madonna concert when she was really in her prime and she was putting on performances of this level. It felt so good to see a performer attempting to entertain again, and entertain in a fantastic way. People may say what they want about Lady Gaga, and she does a lot of things to attract those thoughts, but putting all that aside, she is one hell of a performer and a show that I will gladly attend over and over!

I am speechless. As a die hard Gaga fan, I was completely excited for the concert- especially when I was queing. I qued for around 10 hours and it was honestly worth it. The music was expectedly all live- Gaga performed a lot of ARTPOP songs such as Venus,Swine, and Mary Jane Holland as well as her well known hits. Her vocals were flawless- she even expressed her love by adding a Whitney Houston "I will always love you" ending to one of her songs. That alone was amazing. The show itself was insane- there was constant confetti and strobe lights pulsating the arena; let us not forget the amazing dancers fleeting the stage too. Gaga also took moments between songs to preach about equality, her feelings and general speeches of empowerment. A noticable element of the show was when she picked up and read a young boy's letter of his struggled- she then got him and his boyfriend on stage to dedicate born this way to them. They sat either side of her on the piano, it was heartwarming. Personally, I think if people ignorant to Gaga's importance and talent were to attend artRAVE they woulf instantly be turned- it was that great. It was unforgettable and probably will never be topped.

Well, to start, unless you just want to visit and hang out with other fans, I suggest you don't arrive early. You probably won't even make it through the line by 7:30 at the scheduled start time of show. But don't worry, the show won't start until 9:15pm (an hour and 45 minutes late) and there is no opening act. If you read the latest reports, this is what Gaga has been doing at her shows (it's all planned). Just when we were getting fed up waiting, Lady Gaga hit the stage. Her concert was amazing. It was colorful and exciting with the use of many high tech effects. The women has got talent! She brings with her a dozen energetic backup dancers. Her voice, her voice ......unbelievable! If you happen to have to have a seat rather far from the stage, no worry. She makes every seat in the house a good one as she drops small bridges from pods high in near the ceiling and connects the stage to designated raised circles on the floor all the way back to a smaller stage at the opposite end of the venue. She and her dancers move about with each song and manage to personally engage each fan in their seats with an up close entertainment opportunity. Worth the wait!

Awesome show from start to finish. We saw her Enigma show in Las Vegas. Great set design and graphics. She performed her ass off as well as her backups. The Park Theater had great seat layout and perfect sound. My ears were not ringing afterwards.

A little more then midway in show Lady Gaga slows it down a bit to do “Million Reasons” and opened up a letter thrown on stage to read. It was from a younger woman from Chile who has been a strong fan from the start and feels her life saved by listening to and admiring Lady Gaga. She worked extra for over a year to afford getting to Vegas to see her and waited to get in front row.

She was invited on stage to sit with Lady Gaga while performing the song and was told she’d be reimbursed for her costs getting there. Totally awesome and tested up many in the crowd. Lady Gaga also tested up crowd again at the end and about how much she survives off her fans and the love all around and then sang her newer song “Shallow”.

If you can go, I highly recommend!!

She stated her residency is extended to 2 years so far!

Songray’s profile image

from the time the huge clock started the 10 min countdown that would end with the playing of 'diamond heart' through to the 'million reasons' finale which saw Lady Gaga disappear into the floor leaving only her hat on the piano seat well over 2 hrs later the crowd was in in an uproar .

I've witnessed literally hundreds of artists overthe years and this show is inside my top 10 all time .

The vocals , the stage(s) the light show everything was top notch .

She started strong with diamond heart, A-yo and poker face which really got the crowd up on their feet waving their hands in the air and the most touching moment would have to be when she explained exactly who joanne was and their unique connection and then she finished by whipping the crowd into a frenzy with bad romance, the cure and million reasons .

I had made a10 hr drive to see her only to find out the show was cancelled earlier this yr, I decided to make the trrip again for the re-scheduled show and I'm so glad I did !

If Lady Gaga is playing anywhere near you , get tix !! You will not be disappointed !

Lady Gaga Taking ‘ArtRave’ on the Road

By Kory Grow

In November, Lady Gaga celebrated the release of her new album Artpop with a private event in New York City she called “ArtRave.” Gaga is now taking that concept on the road next year, with “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” tour. She’ll kick things off on May 4th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, following her residency at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. The trek will see her visiting several cities where she canceled tour dates earlier this year in order to undergo hip surgery as well as playing new cities. Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning December 9th, though Gaga is holding a presale today, beginning at 2 p.m. EST, on LittleMonsters.com.

21 Applause-Worthy Facts About Lady Gaga ‘s Eye-Popping Fashion

Since she released Artpop last month, Lady Gaga has kept busy, appearing at awards shows and filming holiday specials with the Muppets . Despite being everywhere, Artpop dropped from its debut Number One position to Number Eight after one week. Still, the interest for all things Gaga isn’t waning just yet: News came out yesterday that a Japanese company has created prototypes of a life-size Lady Gaga doll that plays music and messages when someone puts his or her head to its chest.

Lady Gaga’s artRAVE Tour Is Coming, Brace Yourselves

ArtRave: The Artpop Ball

ArtRave: The Artpop Ball (stylized as artRAVE: the ARTPOP ball ) was the fourth headlining concert tour by American singer Lady Gaga . Supporting her third studio album Artpop (2013), the tour ran from May 4, 2014, to November 24, 2014. The tour dates included cities where Gaga had canceled shows of her previous Born This Way Ball tour after suffering a hip injury. The ArtRave tour was preceded by a performance at the South by Southwest music festival, which drew controversy due to a segment where an artist vomited on Gaga, and a seven-day residency at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan, New York.

ArtRave's concept and name are derived from the similarly named release party for Artpop . The stage resembled a cave and consisted of two sections connected by catwalks made of translucent lucite , allowing the audience to move underneath the catwalks while still being able to watch the show. Gaga's costumes in the show included one with tentacles, one with bejeweled wings, a rave -inspired outfit and a necklace made of marijuana leaves. Costume designers and choreographers aspired to make a single, coherent show. The lighting fixtures used for the concert were from Clay Paky and the main idea was to create an immersive rave experience with the lights. They were also designed to accommodate minor changes in the show sequences.

The tour was produced by Live Nation , and promoted by Absolut Vodka in the United States and O 2 in the United Kingdom. Tickets for several shows sold out immediately once available, prompting additional dates. Negative reports about the tour's commercial performance were dismissed by Live Nation chairman Arthur Fogel . Gaga repeatedly placed within the top-ten of the Billboard Boxscore lists for the 2014 tour grosses. At the end, ArtRave: The Artpop Ball grossed a total of $83 million from 920,088 sold tickets at the 74 reported performances. Billboard also listed it as the ninth best concert tour of the year with 76 reported shows. The tour additionally received positive response from reviewers, but some criticized it for being disjointed. On November 24, 2014, the concert was streamed live from Bercy Arena in France.

While releasing her third studio album Artpop , Gaga held a private event in New York known as ArtRave , where she performed songs from the album and showcased art pieces. Later, she took the concept of ArtRave and created ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour. After abruptly cancelling the North American leg of her previous Born This Way Ball (2012–13) tour due to a major hip injury, the tour began with its first leg in the United States on May 4, 2014, in Sunrise, Florida . [lower-alpha 1] [2] ArtRave: The Artpop Ball had the singer visiting cities where she canceled tour dates in order to undergo the surgery, as well as playing new cities. [3] Gaga explained to The Independent : "When I'm onstage with the Artpop Ball, the point of the show is to take what was the mess of my life and make art of it – to raise the spirit of artistic dreams and creativity and take all the things I was feeling in pain about, and rage... I take a much more meditative approach to the performance. I've got wide-open ears. The ArtRave has routines, and there's a performance-art aspect that has been designed." [4] Prior to the beginning of the tour, Gaga headlined six shows (March 28, 30, 31 and April 2, 4, and 6) at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan, New York, and these shows were the final performances at the venue. A seventh show was also added for April 7 and officially closed the venue. [5]

Gaga also held a one-off concert for ArtRave: The Artpop Ball inside a six-storey vending machine at Doritos ' annual South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival at Austin, Texas . The city's Music and Entertainment division had initially denied permission to Gaga for playing inside the venue citing that it was for "public safety concerns". Don Pitts from the division said that the venue being in close proximity with a parking lot was the reason they had to cancel Gaga's application. [6] On March 6, 2014, it was announced that Gaga would indeed play at the venue. Tickets were sold to the fans through different competitions and challenges. Randal Lane from Forbes reported that the concert would support Gaga's Born This Way Foundation and charity events, but nevertheless opined that "the way they're doling out the tickets is still crass". [7] [8] [9] The concert was criticized when artist Millie Brown vomited a green liquid over Gaga during the performance of " Swine " from Artpop . The performance received complaints about "glamorizing" eating disorders. [10] In response to the controversy, Brown told MTV News : "I can understand why people would make that association, but my performance is really not a statement about eating disorders themselves." [11] Gaga herself told Today "Millie and I know that not everybody's going to love that performance, but we both really believe in artistic expression and strong identities, and I support her and what she does. Artpop , my new album, is about bringing art and music together in the spirit of creative rebellion, and for us, that performance was art in its purest form." [12]

The tour stage showing the catwalks protruding into the audience Lady Gaga, ARTPOP Ball Tour, Bell Center, Montreal, 2 July 2014 (41) (14376800767).jpg

For the tour, Gaga told Capital FM that she wanted something other than the "Monster Pit" arrangement she previously had in the Born This Way Ball tour, since she was always limited to performing on one portion of the arena. Hence Gaga and her team thought of building two stages, one main stage and an accompanying one on the far end of the arena. It would be enhanced by the addition of a catwalk which would wind all around the arena floor, enabling the singer to interact with the audience. [13] In March 2014, Gaga tweeted a picture of the stage which showed a runway extending from the main platform up to the general admission seats and then bifurcating into two additional runways, ending in small stages within the audience. At the end of the first runway, another platform was constructed which descended into the crowd directly. Gaga noted that the 110 feet (34 m) long runways would be made of lucite rendering them translucent, so that the crowd can dance underneath it while still being able to watch the show. The main stage was described as a white cave, reminiscent of Atlantica from the 1989 Disney film The Little Mermaid , and featured a digital backdrop showing stars and the moon. [14]

The band was placed inside the white dome like structures on the stage, described by John Jurgenson from The Wall Street Journal as like the planet Tatooine in the Star Wars series. At the end of one of the Lucite runways, a piano was hidden beneath enormous stalagmite -like structures reminiscent of Superman 's Fortress of Solitude in the comics. [15] [16] There was also a bar overlooking the piano area, where the audience could order drinks while watching the show. [17] Carl Williot from Idolator website compared the stage with that of ArtRave, and felt that it looked like an "insect" with the extended runway and smaller stages. [18] Following the reveal of the image, the hashtag #LadyGagaTourStage started trending globally in Twitter. [19] According to Stacy Lambe from Out magazine, the stage took over 21,000 hours to construct, including the catwalks. There are 15 inflatable trees which are air hosed on the stage to re-create a garden during one of the segments. The whole set up took three hours to dismantle and 21 trucks to carry it from one venue to another. [20] Production manager Jason "JD" Danter explained that the whole set up started from 8:00 am, with lighting and sound checks taking six hours to complete. [21]

For the production of the show, Gaga enlisted choreographer Richard Jackson and together with him and her creative team, the Haus of Gaga, they came up with ideas regarding how the show should be constructed and what music should be performed. They also had to find a way to co-mingle all the different ideas to make a single, coherent show. For the choreography, which encompassed all the stages present, Jackson had to employ a different approach, so that the audience could see the performance from every angle. [22]

Gaga in the rave girl inspired dress worn during the last segment Lady Gaga, ARTPOP Ball Tour, Bell Center, Montreal, 2 July 2014 (119) (14561580424).jpg

Gaga did not preview the costumes for the tour until the opening night. There were seven outfits created for the show, all throughout the different segments. The first was a bejeweled leotard which had the Jeff Koons blue gazing ball attached in the middle; the ball was previously used in the album cover art for Artpop . Gaga accessorized the dress with a pair of feathered wings while wearing a blond bob wig reminiscent of her looks from The Fame era. [23] [24] A rave inspired outfit was worn for the last segment and consisted of colorful dreadlocks and legwarmers made of fur. She added a shirt consisting of straps and plastic sleeves with it. One of the complex outfits was made of latex and consisted of a polka dotted leotard and a number of tentacles attached to the dress as well as a headpiece with two tentacles from it. [23]

The singer also wore a short dress coupled with a platinum bob wig; another version of the dress had a gown attached to it, with Gaga wearing a long wig inspired by Donatella Versace . Before the final performance Gaga wore black latex pants and a top, with a green wig on her head and a necklace made of marijuana leaves. Finally, Gaga also wore a seashell bikini top and voluminous wig; the ensemble had been worn by Gaga in previous live performances for the Artpop era. [23] Her dancers wore neon colored outfits with matching head gears and accessories. Gaga also had a number of unique props, including a Gibson Flying V guitar during "Venus", a plastic chair shaped like a claw and a keytar which was shaped like a sea horse . [16]

BBC News reported that some of the costumes for the tour were designed by Sunderland University fashion graduate Dayne Henderson. He had been chosen by one of Gaga's stylists after seeing his tweet to the singer with a photo of his design which included clothing inspired by fetish fashion . Henderson developed hoods, masks and head pieces for Gaga and her dancers. He had to produce the clothes in latex, and within 12 days had to deliver it to Gaga's management. [25] [26]

Production and lighting designer Roy Bennett used Clay Paky 's A.leda B-Eye K20 LED-based moving lights and Clay Paky Sharpys as lighting attachments. Also around 120 B-Eyes by PKG, were obtained for the tour as well with lighting control from three full-sized grandMA2s and 10 NPUs. According to lighting programmer Jason Baeri, "Bennett's approach to the show was to make it an immersive rave that reflected Gaga's non-stop party aesthetic... That means active, alive, vibrant and high energy—it requires us to be just as active on stage as in the crowd. The audience is every bit as much a set piece as they are a room of spectators, so we had to include them as part of Gaga's same party not just watching the spectacle from afar. Cue wise, that's almost like programming two shows at once: Both had to behave as one cohesive element." [27]

Bennett had started designing the lighting from November 2013 and three months later presented it to Gaga. She approved off the audience experience theme that Bennett developed. [28] The B-Eyes, which were previously used in the Roseland shows, were mounted above the 3 by 40 feet (0.91 m × 12 m) video screens in the tour. Sharpy rigging were used throughout, in the front of the stage, rear, side, as well as on the pods over the audience. They were the main lighting accessory for the tour. Baeri explained that they had faced technical challenges, due to high pixel content. The B-Eyes added a total of 4,500 pixel and was varied through all possible configurations. The lighting effects varied along with the tone and the inflections of the song being performed. Clay Paky was distributed by A.C.T Lighting in North America. Solotech were signed as the video contractor, while 8th Day Sound group were the audio contractors throughout the tour. [27]

Gaga beginning the show with a performance of the track, "Artpop" Lady Gaga Artpop O2.jpg

The show starts off with a video introduction about the tour, followed by dancers appearing on stage with balloons and blue gazing balls. The video continues to play as Gaga emerges from beneath the stage, wearing a golden leotard with wings. She proceeds to sing " Artpop " and then " G.U.Y. ", the latter having choreography from its music video. The song transitions to "Donatella" with the screen showing flashing stars and colorful cloud formations. Gaga then performs "Fashion!" on the piano and goes back for a costume change as the band plays the remaining part of the song.

The next section starts with " Venus " as large inflatable flowers rise from below on stage. Gaga appears in the seashell bikini ensemble and playing a guitar. After a welcome speech, "MANiCURE" and "Cake Like Lady Gaga" are performed. Gaga disappears inside for another outfit change as the band plays an outro. She emerges back onto stage in the white outfit and wig as a video shows her twirling on screen. " Just Dance " is sung, with Gaga using a seahorse-shaped keytar and her dancers dressed as "sea people". It is followed by a medley of " Poker Face " and " Telephone ". The act ends with Gaga exiting for a costume change and "Partynauseous" is played as an interlude.

The fourth act begins with Gaga wearing the tentacle dress and singing " Paparazzi ". She then removes the tentacles and sits on a hand-shaped chair, performing " Do What U Want ", followed by Gaga singing " Dope " and " You and I " on piano. Later, Gaga invites a fan onstage and sings a piano version of " Born This Way ". She and the fan exit through a trap down as "Jewels n' Drugs" is played as an interlude.

As dancers move props and cannons around the stage, Gaga changes a black latex dress and green wig. She returns to stage and sings a medley of " The Edge of Glory ", " Judas ", and " Aura ", beginning the fifth act. A red couch is brought out on which " Sexxx Dreams " is sung. Following this, white chairs are brought out onto the stage by the dancers for "Mary Jane Holland", during which a choreography is shown with the chairs. " Alejandro " takes place on the lucite runways. At the end of the song, Gaga descends for a quick change. The fifth act triggers when she arises in a Cher -like outfit, singing " Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) ". Gaga then performs " Bad Romance " in a rave-inspired costume, followed by " Applause ", during which a video backdrop shows the singer in various disguises. Gaga bids the audience goodbye and sings " Swine ", during which her dancers fire stuffed animals into the crowd using cannon. During the performance, Gaga removes her wig and dances with shirtless men in pig masks. She leaves the stage for a final costume change, appearing to perform " Gypsy " for the encore. Near the end, she crosses to the main stage and exits with her dancers and band.

The tickets were first available to members of Gaga's social network website, Littlemonsters.com. They were provided with a unique code for ordering tickets from online, but were limited to four tickets per member. According to Live Nation , the first batch of tickets for the tour went on sale from December 9, 2013, and sell-out shows were reported from Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Los Angeles and Edmonton within hours. This led to two new dates being added to the itinerary: June 26 at Milwaukee's Marcus Amphitheater , and June 28 at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall . [29] On January 29, 2014, Gaga released the dates for the European leg of the tour, which would begin September 23, 2014, from Belgium. [30] The singer partnered with British mobile network O 2 , for a deal which would enable the company's customers to avail tickets for the tour three days prior to the general release. The deal included Gaga being featured in a new advertisement, for promoting the UK leg of the tour and showed her wearing a dress with large, glittering shoulder pads while running towards a concert stage. [31] This was the second time Gaga partnered with O 2 , first in November 2013, for exclusive access to the tracks from Artpop , ahead of its UK release. [30] Upon release, Ticketmaster reported that the UK venues sold out within five minutes, prompting the singer to add another two dates in London. [32] In April and May 2014, she released more floor tickets for sale, after ensuring larger crowd capacity for all the UK venues and a total of eight new dates. [33] [34]

For the US dates, Gaga partnered with Absolut Vodka , who transformed the bar adjacent to the stage into a lounge called "Absolut Artpop Lounge", where some of the lucky fans could watch the show, while ordering cocktails of their choice. Two fans would be chosen on the spot to have seats at the bar; tickets could also be won through a contest at the Absolut website. Gaga explained that with the help of Absolut she could "[create] a special experience where fans can actually sit inside the stage and have their own bar. It's going to be a huge rave in the spirit of art and creativity." Other promotions announced at the website included winning an all-expense-paid trip to see Gaga's show on September 30 at Stockholm , Sweden, and Gaga-inspired runway shows at gay bars across the nation, from where another set of tickets could be won. [17] Four dates were added in Australia, starting from August 20, 2014, at Perth . [35] She had one concert at Dubai's Meydan Racecourse on September 10, but newspaper Gulf News reported that the show would be censored for respecting cultural traditions in the UAE. According to Marco Riois, chairman of AMI Live which organized the show in Dubai, "there will be some edits... It cannot be the full show, because it wouldn't be allowed. So it's a special show for Dubai and for the culture". [36]

Forbes spoke about the commendable ticket pricing ensued by Live Nation for the tour. Jesse Lawrence from the magazine noticed how the ticket prices were lowered to an average of $68 in Gaga's primary markets and ensuing fast sell-outs, compared to those of her contemporaries, like Miley Cyrus ' Bangerz Tour which had an average ticket price at $86. Conversely, the average price was raised to as high as $269 in Gaga's secondary markets, although with fewer tickets available than Cyrus' tour. This again ensued that the revenue was earned with profit. Lawrence concluded by saying that "Lady Gaga's pricing, seems to be taking a longer-term view and is focused on providing access to as many of her fans as possible as opposed to wringing out every last dollar on the current tour." [37] In April 2014, Lawrence reported that following Gaga's performance at Roseland Ballroom, the tour ticket prices in the secondary markets went up by 5.3%, with major increases being visible at Philips Arena in Atlanta. Tickets at Madison Square Garden rose up to $338.81, which was 42.6% higher than the average price. Other locations where ticket prices saw an increase were MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, [lower-alpha 2] TD Garden in Boston and United Center in Chicago. A higher price was set for the first of two nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles, resulting in one of the costliest tickets in the show. The pricing was leveled off for the second night and they gradually decreased with the tour's progress. [38] This was evident in the tour date switch up between May 12 and 15 at Washington and Philadelphia, respectively, where the ticket prices fell by 29.5%. [39]

Reports arose in the media that the ticket sales for the tour were falling, leading Arthur Fogel , Chairman of Live Nation's Global Touring division, to brand them as "ridiculous". He clarified to Billboard that the about 80% of the tickets were sold in North America and Europe, and they were still in the process of releasing future dates for numerous venues. The 29 shows in North America had grossed around US$26 million, with an average of almost $900,000 per show. Fogel also addressed concerns that Live Nation had lost $30 million from Gaga's tour, saying that if a similar situation really happened, then the company would have cancelled the concerts. "I just don't know how this shit gets any traction without people doing their homework... Just a complete fool would say something like that and it could only come from somebody who has an agenda, because it makes absolutely no sense, on any level", Fogel concluded. [40] A total of 800,000 tickets have been sold for the tour, as reported by Billboard . [41]

In June 2014, Billboard released the first boxscore figures for the tour, up to the June 2 date. Gaga placed at number four on the boxscore list with total gross of $13.9 million, and more than 171,000 tickets sold. The boxscore figure for her Roseland Ballroom performance was also revealed to have grossed $1.5 million with more than 24,000 tickets sold. [42] In October 2014, the second set of boxscore were released, with sales of 509,741 tickets and a gross of $46,933,594, ranking at number two on the boxscore list. [43] Final boxscores were released in December 2014, with the last performance at Paris' Palais Omnisports Bercy grossing $1.2 million and audience of 13,013. In total, ArtRave: The Artpop Ball grossed $83 million from 920,088 sold tickets at the 74 reported performances to Billboard Boxscore. [44] On Pollstar ' s Year-end Top 20 Worldwide Tours list, Gaga ranked at number seven with $88.7 million in gross and 947,852 tickets sold for 84 shows, including the seven shows from Roseland Ballroom. [45] Billboard listed it as the ninth best concert tour of the year with 76 reported shows. [46]

John Walker from MTV News reviewed the opening concert in Sunrise, [lower-alpha 1] and was impressed with the show. He particularly liked the segment, when after the performance of "Alejandro", Gaga decided to change her costume onstage and did so with the help of her stylists. Walker added that "to prove this, [Gaga] ripped the green, shoulder-length wig right off of her head. Yes, she literally snatched her own wig. Reverse Warholian expedition says what?" [47] Walker further emphasized in another review for MTV that the tour expanded on Gaga's characteristic "fan-to-artist" connections and theatrics she had developed with the Born This Way Ball. [48] Adam Carlson from Billboard praised the show saying that it turned the "spectacle" into a "surprise". He complimented the choreography and the constant costume changes, explaining that "talking about [Gaga's] performances is more fun than listening to them, but don't take that as an insult. There's just a lot to talk about." [49] Chris Richards from The Washington Post said that "for a pop concert in an arena [Verizon Center], it felt good. As a public exercise in reciprocal, unconditional love, it felt unique [from Gaga]." [50]

Glenn Gamboa from Newsday was impressed with the performances, saying "Whether it was the goofiness of 'Venus', the playfulness of 'Donatella' or the throwback soul of 'Do What U Want', which she crowned with an a cappella bit of gospel, she filled the songs with an intensity that was infectious." [51] Lauren Moraski from CBS News felt that Gaga was in "full-force" during the concert and "seemed right at home" with the New York crowd. [52] Frank Scheck from The Hollywood Reporter commended the stage setup, the costumes and the overall entertainment aspect of the tour, saying that "Unlike Madonna, who engages in similar, but decidedly chillier, over-the-top theatrics, Gaga invests her spectacles with an undeniable sweetness and heart." Scheck was positive about the performances of "Gypsy" and "Born This Way". [15]

Negative commentary came from Rob Sheffield of Rolling Stone who reviewed the show at Madison Square Garden and was disappointed, calling it "a run-of-the-mill arena-rock show, the kind where a band has a shoddy new album to flog". He was not impressed that Gaga chose to ignore songs from Born This Way and its successful singles. [53] Dan DeLuca from Philadelphia Daily News wrote that "the show was seriously marred by too many electro powered would-be dance cuts from ARTPOP whose weaknesses were exposed whenever she reached back to her more enticing greatest hits" and that she performed "far too many songs" from Artpop . [54] The Boston Globe writer James Reed felt that "something" was missing from Gaga's performance, and it felt "hollow". He also criticized Gaga's reliance on backing tracks to sing her songs. [55] Joey Guerra from Houston Chronicle found the show to be "disjointed", saying that there was "little in the way of real transition between sequences, particularly in the later moments." [56]

Candice Barnes from The Sydney Morning Herald gave the show positive review, saying that Gaga "delivered a show fit for a queen" at Perth Arena. "Plugged as an 'art rave', it was hard to distinguish where the art finished and the music began", she concluded. [57] Conversely, Ross McCrae from The West Australian panned the show calling it "middle of the road arena rock show", and noticed the public's lack of interest in the performances. [58] The lack of ticket sales was also noted by a reviewer for News.com.au , who went on to add that "one could never accuse Lady Gaga of lacking attention to detail in her live productions or failing to put in a wholehearted and energetic performance." [59] Jenny Valentish from Time Out awarded the show in Melbourne five stars, calling Gaga "a phenomenal singer with an immense voice (...) who could try her hand at any genre", also praising her live band and the costume changes. [60]

The National critic Saeed Saeed described the show as "hugely entertaining" and something that "delivers pop music's ultimate mandate: to dance your worries away". [61] Writing about the subdued concert in Dubai due to religious sentiments, Mohammed Kadry from Khaleej Times noted that Gaga could still put on a "spectacle" and she "was determined to connect with her local audience as she attempted to piece together flattering colloquial phrases". [62] Debra Kamin from The Times of Israel praised Gaga's vocals, adding that "show was everything Gaga promised and everything fans have come to expect from her — loud, florescent , sexually explicit and mind-numbingly bright." [63]

Dave Simpson from The Guardian gave a positive review for the Birmingham concert, awarding the show with 4 out of 5 stars. He stated that "Gaga has often been accused of being all artifice and no heart, but tonight's show is a powerful statement from a star who refuses to be pinned down or written off." [64] Daniel Dylan Wray from The Independent awarded the Birmingham concert with 4 out of 5 stars and described ArtRave as "loud, colourful and frequently emblematic of feel-good, throwaway party times". [65] Katie Fitzpatrick from Manchester Evening News awarded the concert with 5 out of 5 stars. She praised Lady Gaga's voice, her live band, the outfits and the connection of the fans – especially in this show that Gaga helped a fan to propose to his partner on stage. Katie stated that "the ostentatiously named ArtRave may reaffirm that Gaga the show-woman is definitely about her art. But this little lady with the powerful set of lungs is also undoubtedly all heart." [66] Ludovic Hunter-Tilney from the Financial Times rated the concert three out of five stars. He criticized the songs from Artpop except the title track, but complimented the acoustic and piano sequences. [67]

On November 17, 2014, Gaga announced through her social medias that the last concert show, which took place at Bercy Arena in France on November 24, would be streamed live around the world, online on Yahoo! Live . [68] [69] The concert started with a 30-minute video presentation of Gaga's portraits, as shot by Robert Wilson , and which were previously exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris. [70] The live stream broke records for Yahoo! Live and Live Nation . [71]

Lady Gaga Enigma + Jazz & Piano Las Vegas residency show

Lady Gaga Enigma + Jazz & Piano is a concert residency by American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga held at the Park Theater in the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada. The residency consists of two types of shows: Enigma, which focuses on theatricality and includes the singer's biggest hits, and Jazz & Piano, which involves songs from the Great American Songbook and stripped-down versions of Gaga's songs. The Enigma show was built around a loose storyline about "healing and finding yourself", and saw Gaga wearing various sci-fi inspired outfits. For Jazz & Piano, Gaga aimed for "glamour and elegance", with her wardrobe harkening back to the Jazz Age and vintage Vegas. The Enigma shows opened on December 28, 2018, and the Jazz & Piano shows opened on January 20, 2019. After a 21-month long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the residency returned to the theater on October 14, 2021.

Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP' Tour Recap: So Many Wigs, So Many Feelings

SUNRISE, Florida -- "Oh, I missed you," Lady Gaga gushed to her audience. "How much did you miss me?"

It might seem a strange question to ask, considering the " G.U.Y. " singer's been actively promoting her latest album, ARTPOP , since July of last year. But, this seemed to be the underlying narrative of artRave: The ARTPOP Ball Tour , which kicked off Sunday night in Florida. Everything that happened in this era thus far had been building to this.

Appropriately, the artRave followed Lady Starlight 's opening set with title-track " ARTPOP ," which saw Gaga hinting at the possibility of such a reunion: "We could, we could belong together." Along with six elaborate costume changes and what's got to be half the world's supply of confetti, what came next was, in many ways, an exercise in reestablishing the kind of strong, fan-to-artist connection that Gaga had achieved with the Born This Way Ball, before that tour was prematurely cancelled in early 2013.

Among the different personas she tried on during the show were a fashion-darling It girl ("G.U.Y.," " Donatella ," "Fashion!"), a flighty, high-pitched goddess (" Venus ," " MANiCURE ," " Cake Like Lady Gaga ."), and a familiar, sales-friendly ghost of the past (" Just Dance ," " Poker Face ," and " Telephone "). There was even a version of herself who wore a plastic, inflatable, octopus-tentacle headdress with matching train ("PARTYNAUSEOUS," " Paparazzi ," " Do What U Want ," " Born This Way "), which isn't really as easy to sum up as the others, so thanks for bearing with me.

All of these radical makeovers ("trying on a few different outfits and a few different wigs to find myself again") appeared to wear on the New York native, as she next appeared as a black latex-wearing, green-haired troublemaker on the edge for " Jewels N' Drugs ," " Aura ," " Sexxx Dreams ," "Mary Jane Holland," and " Alejandro ."

Suddenly declaring that she's "not afraid to get filthy," Lady Gaga began stripping topless onstage to the "Ratchet" instrumental, and she was soon joined by a team of stylists to assist her into a neon-dreadlocked raver look that resembled some of the artRave merch outside the arena. It wasn't a choreographed thing, though, but a backstage quick-change performed onstage.

Maybe #ijusthavealotoffeelings, but this intimate, vulnerable act of laying herself bare for all to see was the moment when she succeeded in rekindling that sought-after bond with the audience. I guess sometimes the simplest move is right after all.

Thumping through " Bad Romance ," " Applause ," and " Swine ," Lady Gaga closed the artRave with an encore performance of " Gypsy ." The lyrics bookended perfectly with the "We could belong together" promise that opened the concert: "Thought that I would be alone forever/ But I won't be tonight."

That's the kind of feeling you're more likely to hear a fan express about an artist, but I guess that's what makes Lady Gaga and her Little Monsters' relationship what it is.

Dayglo and ‘dancing’: How Lady Gaga’s ArtRave tour went down in Toronto

The world may be her oyster, but her modesty was preserved by a clamshell bikini. Lady Gaga, born in the traditional way as the brunette bundle Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, brought her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour to Toronto's Air Canada Centre – the seventh of eight Canadian dates, with one more stop (Vancouver, Aug. 9) to come.

The show is a confetti-strewn affair, themed to the 1989 Disney film The Little Mermaid and awash with excitable dancers, dance-pop eruptions, wig flips and costume switcheroos. Gaga would have been three years old when The Little Mermaid first took her under the sea. This was a make-believe exposition and a fantasy come true, from the artist who rode a unicorn on her last trip here.

That previous jaunt was the Born This Way Ball, an unexplainable concert experience with medieval allusions that failed to finish its scheduled run because of a hip injury to a pop cyborg previously thought indestructible. The new show, named after Gaga's third studio album Artpop , flows sleeker and with less pretension.

The superstar's "dancing" was mostly sequined-leotard calisthenics, and her singing was often embellished with backing vocal tracks. Gaga read fan letters more than once, and even recited a heartfelt missive from "Britney," the young woman who was brought to the spotlight to sit aside her heroine on the piano bench at the end of a Lucite catwalk for a lovely, stripped-down balladic version of Born This Way . As we learned from her fan mail, Britney is a self-diagnosed sufferer of an anxiety disorder, and yet she remained remarkably composed in front of 15,000 screaming people. Such is the power of the guru Gaga, the empowering artist known to fans as Mother Monster.

According to news reports, Gaga spent some of her downtime in Toronto visiting a fire station. And make no mistake, this effervescent handful of chutzpah, fake hair and moxy is nothing if not five-alarm. She emerged to the techno inferno of the title track dressed in a fantastic gold-encrusted get-up, with wings extending from her back and a giant blue pearl at her bosom. It was the stuff of H.R. Pufnstuf and Cher's garage sale all in one.

Before Donatella , Gaga applauded Canada's liberty. "So much freedom," she said, "so much individuality." She then commanded her subjects to action: "Now jump!" Many did.

The most ardent of Gaga's followers were standing on the floor, gawking and fawning around a sprawling catwalk set upon a luminous network of prop stalagmite. On stage, a white sea-cave was the main attraction. But of course, the "I live for the applause" singer was the main attraction, wasn't she? Particularly in her riot of dayglo apparel or her black-latex octopus outfit, we could not escape her – if the tentacles didn't get us, her outrageous entitlement of attention would.

The hits Poker Face and Applause were unstoppable and enthralling, but often Gaga's voice was lost within the beats and synthesized hubbub. She's not like Jennifer Lopez or Britney Spears or even Madonna, who were raised as dancers and limelighters, not musicians. And yet, she prefers to perform spectacles that, by design, fail to showcase all of her abilities.

But perhaps that is about to change. Her next album is to be Cheek to Cheek , a vocal-jazz project with Tony Bennett. Mermaids sing only to each other, not to you and me. And although the tracklist for the duets album has yet to be revealed, we can hope that the singer who wishes to live underwater is able to move Beyond the Sea .

Lady Gaga plays Vancouver's Rogers Arena, Aug. 9.

I know we already have a tour discussion section but this is purely just for the schedule and sold out shows, just like we had last time. Once again, I'll update the list as and when more tickets sell. As tour grosses and attendences come in, I will tot them up and put them under each leg, so no one has to do any maths, they just need to refer to this thread.

DISCLAIMER: Please note that the number of tickets sold and percentage of tickets sold are figures that are just estimations based on the information that I can find. I am not Gaga, her manager or anyone from her record label or the company in charge of the tour, therefore, I have limitations on how much truth there is to what I report. If you want to go to any of the shows, even if I've listed them as sold out, please do not take it as absolute truth and still do try to purchase tickets. Remember that not all tickets are on sale initially. Sometimes, if a date sells out, extra seats are added, albeit not in the best sections. I am 100% sure that Gaga is selling much better than what I'm reporting, but unfortunately, my limitations mean I cannot provide the full story. Ultimately, we have to wait until the official tour gross is revealed when the show is over to determine the real figures. Until then, don't give up hope yet and never stop enquiring about tickets regardless of what I report. We want this tour to sell out, after all!

Jane's Addiction announces 1st tour with original band members since 2010; Chicago date set

A lternative rock and metal band Jane's Addiction has announced a 23-city North American tour with a stop in Chicago, an announcement from Live Nation said Tuesday.

The newly-announced tour comes after reuniting for the first time in 14 years during an intimate show in London, the announcement said.

"Undoubtedly regarded as one of rock’s most influential acts, Jane’s Addiction’s first release was the stunning, self-titled live album Jane’s Addiction (1987), which led to two studio albums, Nothing Shocking (1988) and Ritual De Lo Habitual (1990)," the announcement continued. "The band’s initial farewell tour in 1991 launched the first Lollapalooza which has since become THE perennial alternative rock festival."

According to the announcement all original band members -- vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery -- will be present on the tour, which will be co-headlined by the group Love and Rockets.

How To Get Drake Tickets In 2024

Though Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour officially ended on April 5, 2024, fans may be curious to know whether—and when—they’ll be able to catch the artist on the road again this year. Especially given his near-constant appearance in headlines in recent weeks, the “First Person Shooter” rapper may surprise us with a new album and concert dates very soon. Here’s everything we know about how to get Drake tickets in 2024, whenever they do go on sale: To start, we recommend bookmarking or subscribing for updates on TicketMaster , StubHub and SeatGeek so you’re alerted as soon as dates go live.

Though Drake hasn't officially announced another tour, we're sharing everything we know about how to ... [+] get Drake tickets in 2024, whenever they happen to go on sale.

The 29 Best Memorial Day Mattress Sales To Shop Over The Long Weekend

The birkenstock memorial day sale features styles for over 50% off, where to buy tickets for drake’s tour in 2024.

While we can’t say for sure when a new tour will be announced, we can speculate about where to buy Drake tickets when the time comes. As mentioned above, some ticket retailers let you sign up for email updates, so you’ll be among the first to know when Drake tickets go on sale. They’ll probably sell out immediately on first-party sites, so in case you miss those, we’ve also included some ticket resellers to check as a backup.

 • Drake’s site on TicketMaster will definitely carry the artist’s concert tickets when they’re announced and on sale, so be sure to bookmark the page or set a custom alert so you can stay in the loop.
 • Visit Drake’s SeatGeek hub and sign up for on-sale and ticket pricing alerts for the performer’s yet-to-be-announced tour dates.
 • Check out the performer’s StubHub page and sign up for (or log in to) an account to set up alerts on ticket sale and price updates, sent to your email or on the StubHub app.
 • Vivid Seats allows you to sign up for alerts for Drake’s tour once tickets eventually go live.
 • Find tickets for Drake’s concert when they’re available for sale on reselling platform Gametime .
 • Add Drake to your “Favorites” on TickPick to get the scoop on new events and ticket releases for the artist.
 • Keep an eye on TicketNetwork’s Drake hub for options once a tour is announced; TicketNetwork is both a primary and secondary retailer, so you may be able to snag tickets as soon as they go live or buy them as resales.

When Do Drake Tickets Go On Sale?

While there’s no concrete news about the dates or locations for the next Drake tour, there are already some rumors swirling about whether and when it may be announced. Drake has barely been out of the headlines since his last album, For All The Dogs , dropped last October, and especially so in the last six weeks since the It’s All A Blur tour ended. Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar went from “0 to 100” and has kept him busy and in the news.

Though we’ll spare you the saga on the feud in its entirety— a lot has happened between October of last year and now—we’ve been keeping up to look for clues on what might come next. On May 12, Drake took to Instagram and posted a story many are interpreting to mean that he’s stepping back from feuding with Lamar. On top of an illustration depicting one sworded soldier standing in front of an army that vastly outnumbers him, Drake added the text: “Good times. Summer vibes up next.”

We’re not qualified to determine who won this epic beef, but we’re relieved it’s over and hope that Drake can get some sleep. It’s entirely possible that “summer vibes” might be referencing a new album release and a tour to follow—and because Drake has been seen on stage with other acts like Nicki Minaj in recent weeks, he may very well be gearing back up for performances of his own.

Drake 2024 Tour Dates

Drake’s It’s All A Blur tour in North America started on July 5, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois and ended on April 5, 2024 in Newark, New Jersey. As soon as we learn of any new tour dates, we’ll update this article with everything you need to know about how to get Drake tickets for his next tour.

How to buy Tate McRae tickets: 2024 dates and prices compared

When you buy through our links, Business Insider may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more

Musician Tate McRae is already on the road for her highly anticipated 2024 tour, but tickets are still available for her upcoming concert dates. Though the Think Later World Tour is now well underway, there are a few avenues to explore regarding how to buy Tate McRae tickets to her 2024 concert series.

After rising to fame for being a finalist on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2016, McRae released her first studio EP in 2020 and subsequently launched her first sold-out headlining tour. The Think Later World Tour in 2024 now marks McRae's fourth headlining tour, consisting of 64 shows separated into four legs.

McRae's 2024 world tour kicked off on April 17 in Dublin, Ireland, with the singer set to perform a total of 25 shows in Europe. She'll then begin the 26-show second leg of her Think Later World Tour in North America starting July 5, which will be followed by legs in Asia and Oceania before taking her final bow in Wellington, New Zealand on November 21. On the way, the "Exes" singer will also make a few festival stops in the U.S. throughout the summer.

We've got you covered if you're looking for how to score tickets to Tate McRae's 2024 Think Later World Tour. Here's our breakdown of the 2024 tour schedule, purchasing details, and comparisons between prices for original and resale tickets. Tate McRae tickets are also available to purchase through verified resale ticket vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats . With some Tate McRae 2024 concerts already sold out, you may have better luck finding tickets to those shows on these sites. Due to resale policies and other restrictions, you will find more international options through original sellers like the aforementioned Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

How much are Tate McRae tickets?

The cheapest prices for standard original tickets to see Tate McRae begin at $30 for her Rogers, AR show on July 21, but many other dates with original tickets still available have a much higher starting cost. For dates with listings still remaining, resale tickets are typically comparable to or less expensive than original tickets.

On Vivid Seats , the least expensive tickets to see Tate McRae's Think Later World Tour range between $38 for her Rogers, AR show on July 21 to $241 for her Lollapalooza performance on August 3 in Chicago. However, Vivid Seats isn't selling resale tickets for her international shows in Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

StubHub offers similar prices for resale tickets to McRae's 2024 concert tour. The cheapest prices for her tickets on this site begin from $39 to $226 for the same dates and locations as those on Vivid Seats.
