BCAA Primary Members who have a credit card on file for their Membership or insurance products, can update their credit card information through BCAA My Account. Through the Home Insurance Portal, Members who are the Primary Policy Holder (those listed first on their policy document) can also update credit card or bank account information...

How can I get a quote for Visitors to Canada Travel Insurance?

There are several different ways to get a quote for Visitors to Canada insurance - online at bcaa.com, over the phone at 1.888.268.2222 or in person at the nearest BCAA Service Location.

How does BCAA Travel Insurance work if I already have coverage with my credit card or health care plan?

BCAA Travel Insurance works in coordination with other benefits you have from another insurer. You can also purchase a "Top Up" plan if you are looking to extend the amount of days you have covered from another plan.

If I answer 'yes' to any health conditions in the medical health questionnaire, does that mean I'm covered for them?

By answering yes to a health condition on the medical health questionnaire, you are not automatically covered for the condition. Coverage will depend on the stability of the condition.

Is there an age limit for BCAA Travel Insurance?

There is no age limit for BCAA Travel Insurance but insureds 60 years of age or older will need to complete a Medical Health Questionnaire to purchase coverage.

What are my travel insurance coverage options?

Through BCAA you can purchase Emergency Medical Travel Insurance, Visitors to Canada Insurance and/or a Trip Protection package to cover you on your travels.

Product Features

CAA’s Emergency Medical 3 plan financially protects you and your loved ones if there’s an unexpected medical emergency while travelling outside of your home province. There are single-trip plans for occasional travellers and multi-trip plans with 12 months of protection for frequent travellers. Taking a longer trip? Just extend your multi-trip medical plan with Top-Up coverage.

Trip Cancellation and Interruption insurance lets you cancel or continue your adventure without missing a beat. Trip Cancellation insurance helps you get your travel costs refunded if a covered emergency forces you to cancel before departure. Trip Interruption insurance keeps you on schedule if your trip gets delayed or interrupted after departure.

Looking for the ultimate coverage? This plan includes the works: Emergency Medical coverage, Trip Cancellation and Interruption insurance, and even Baggage and Personal Effects insurance. Choose a single-trip or multi-trip vacation package to cover your international or Canadian travel. Vacation Package coverage varies by province.

1 CAA Travel Insurance, an Orion Travel Insurance product, is underwritten by Echelon Insurance (except in British Columbia). BCAA Travel Insurance is sold through B.C.A.A. Holdings Ltd. dba BCAA Insurance Agency, a licensed insurance agent and is underwritten by BCAA Insurance Corporation. Insurance claims are administered by Echelon Insurance and its subcontractors, Global Excel Management Inc.

Certain conditions, exclusions, limitations, restrictions and underwriting guidelines apply. A Medical Questionnaire is required if you are 60 years of age and older. Not all products are available in all provinces. Discounts may vary by province.

2 Terms and conditions apply. $5-10 million CAD emergency medical coverage, is dependent on having received all Health Canada approved COVID-19 vaccines, at least 14 days prior to departure. Please see the COVID-19 Endorsement or wordings for details.

4 Eligibility requires a 24-hour monitoring by a central alarm system.
