There is no artist now that is comparable to Beyoncé. She stands by herself above all other entertainers, as a singular force she is Queen Bey and yes I am a huge Beyoncé fan. I've liked her music but Lemonade is an amazing album, touching on different musical genres, and my anthem is Formation so I had to see Beyoncé for the Formation World Tour.
Large arenas are so cumbersome but I bared through it, drove 3.5 hours, waited in line, parked near (but not really) sat down and within 15 minutes it started. I must say considering everything, the show started on time.
The moment I heard that distinctive beat for Formation and saw Beyoncé and her dancers come out, I LOST MY MIND (I was just screaming and jumping with no real aim but to release all my energy). I was in the same space as Beyoncé and it was a lot of screaming. Much like those videos of girls loosing their mind over Elvis, the Beatles, and Justin Bieber- I was doing that and it was fantastic. Because collectively the entire audience was also LOOSING THEIR MINDS. Just that experience like communal euphoria it's very hard to get but damn it if it doesn't make you feel magical.
The stage had a giant cube and screens and I could definitely see a little figure (I didn't have the best seats) who happened to be Beyoncé. Before she begins, she asked as questions and if we agreed we had to respond with "I Slay" I didn't so much say it as screamed it at the top of my lungs like my life depend on it. GOD DAMN, I was gonna get in formation and slay if it was the last thing I ever did.
From there, the show just kept going for two hours, she sang, danced, and slayed. She sounds live like she sounds on the albums, and she danced for the majority of the time, like she never stopped moving. The intermissions were brief, between the intermissions and the slow songs- I took a breather, because, I unlike Beyoncé needed to rest from all the singing along and jumping I was doing. She did some songs from Destinys Child, the majority of her hits (no show for Irreplaceable and Single Ladies).
In the end, after everything, I was just amazed. For one, I could have lived at any time in history, but I get to live in the time of Beyonce. For two, I saw the greatest performer of my generation live. For three, I saw Beyoncé at her peak, with the greatest album she has released (so far). When I'm old- I'm going to be telling the youngins about the time I saw Beyoncé live for the Formation World Tour, and they will be amazed. I can't wait to tell the story. En fin, if you get a chance do it, see Beyoncé because it will change you, transform you, it will slay you, and you will be amazed.

I ended up winning my tickets to Beyonce online. I wasn't a huge fan before the gig but just decided to enter the comp on a win. I loved some of her previous stuff and was intrigued by the new album Lemonade. On arriving at Croke Park in Dublin the buzz was unreal. We were sitting up in the gods in the Cusack stand and we had a great view. We got to see the second support act Chloe x Halle and they were awesome. The noise in the stadium was brilliant everyone was singing and dancing just full of happiness and joy. Then Welcome To The Formation Tour came up on the big screen and the place erupted. When queen B graced the stage her presence was just electric. The whole show from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Bey has such an incredible stage presence and her voice is outstanding. The dancers and choreography was on point and just made you want to get up and shake what your mother gave you haha. I can truthfully say Beyonce gained another super fan in me that night. So entertaining and engaging with the crowd. And that ass!!! My boyfriend came with me (reluctantly!) only to see that ass in the flesh!! By the last part of the concert he was up dancing with me and all the people around us. I have to say where we were sitting was superb because the people around us were so friendly and we had a great time with everyone. Bit of scandal.... There was a girl in our row a few seats up (we'll call her boots girl) and she was giving it loads and more until..... She puked vodka all over the girl sitting in front of her!!!!!!! Now I'm all for having a drink and enjoying myself but seriously there is no need to get that wasted. My heart went out to the poor girl she puked on and everyone seen it. Soooo embarrassing. Everyone in the row in front of booty girl was terrified that they would become her next victim!! On a final note if you ever get a chance to go see Beyonce GO GO GO... You will not be disappointed and u will leave on a high that will last for days after. BEYONCÉ YOU SLAY
Half of the fun of going to this Beyonce concert was to watch the crowd as I was waiting for my friends. This crowd did not disappoint. Lots of clubbing outfit, even in a chilly place like Seattle. A very pregnant woman wearing mini dress and high heels. Very diverse group of people. But I digress.
This was my first Beyonce concert.
I had a high level of expectation due to being told repeatedly that Beyonce is such a perfectionism. So for me this was a letdown. After the opening act of DJ Khaled ended, we had to wait more than 1 hour for Beyonce to show up on stage. What was taking so long? the hair? the makeup?
And the acoustics were horrible. Unless you knew the words to her songs, you couldn't make out what she was singing as her voice was totally drowned by the music.
She gave us a medley type of show, singing part of a song then segueing into another song. That was disappointing as I like to hear my songs in full. But that's a personal preference.
Beyonce was stunning and seemed to have a great time performing for her fans.
Lots of gorgeous visuals, lots of smoky and pyrotechnic effects reminiscent of Las Vegas acts if that's what you're into.
Crowd participation. Probably a given as her fans adore her. They do not just sit down to passively be entertained. Most of them were on their feet dancing to the music.
Fired up energetic dancing from her and her dancers.
And on the few sets where they actually toned down the music and allowed us to hear her voice, Beyonce shone and showed why she is the superstar that she is.
I am a really big Beyoncé fan and was really pumped up to see her – I'd been waiting for years for the chance. The concert was at our local arena and there were about 18,000 other fans in attendance, so I was worried it might not feel very special. But if anything, that made it more memorable: the place was full of energy and people ready to dance and sing.
She was really on it that night and her voice sounded so great. She did her slow songs like “If I was a Boy” with just as much energy and soul as she performs her faster hits like “Drunk in Love” and “All the Single Ladies” (which was epic). Her costumes were equally impressive (she must have changed outfits half a dozen times) and she looked so good in all of them, she truly is a really beautiful lady. Her shows have a kind of sexy appeal and it came off as very authentic, not crass. The way she moved her body and the emphasis she gave on certain songs just made the whole thing one good raunchy affair!
During the show she gave a few shout outs to her husband Jay Z and the amazing band she tours with. You can probably imagine, we were so worn out from dancing and singing once the show was over with.
Beyoncé has absolutely taken hold as the single most important female performer in pop music these days and if you are lucky enough to see her in concert, that will only help to prove that she belongs in that role. Hopefully she will be back in the near future – I'll be first in line for tickets :)
The first indication that The Formation World Tour would be a cinematic experience, as well as a sonic one, was when the THX logo appeared on the side screens, along with the signature deep note. A few seconds later, the rotating (sixty-foot, three-dimensional) multimedia display came to life with pulsating black-and-white nudes of Queen Bey spliced with footage of a hawk flying high above its prey.
“Welcome to the Formation Tour, can I hear you say ‘I slay!’”
Beyoncé, along with about a dozen dancers donning wide-brim hats and black leotards, marched down the catwalk in true formation. Visual clips and poetry about being “Sorry” eased the transition into the track with the deceptive name; all while 50,000 people filled the San Diego stadium with screams that could be heard in Mexico. And as if Bey couldn’t express her discontent with her own two hands, she instructed her dance troupe to line up behind her with arms outstretched; providing an octopus illusion of middle fingers in the air while she told that “boy bye,” before interjecting an acapella version of “Kitty Kat” in between the hook and the famous last verse about “Becky with the good hair.”

Beyoncé + Jay Z is the concert experience you think of when you think of the ultimate arena concert experiences. It's the full package - amazing choreography, costume changes every few minutes, stage effects and of course, hit song after hit song. Although as a whole it's an extraordinary, confident show, it is very clear that Beyoncé drives 80% of the action - although Jay-Z is very good, there's nowhere near the same amount of energy or showmanship that makes Beyoncé's songs so exciting.
Even at over 2 hours in duration, the show only provides a sample of their formidable discographies - but the selection is solid. You won't get the 10-minute long "Single Ladies" jam you've dreamed of, but even the nods to songs like this and "Countdown" are unique and memorable.
So in all, this is a show that has it all - great remixes, a visual feast and never a break in the action. If you have even just a passing interest in the B+JZ duo, you'll find this an incredibly enjoyable night out.
I was really looking forward to this show, I've been waiting for years to see Beyoncé. I purchased standing tickets, and yes, I expected that I won't be able to see much of her. What I didn't expect was the drunk people squeezing in front of me after queuing for 1,5hours, and people covering even the little view I had out with their phones to take videos. But even that I can deal with, although it made me sad. What really disappointed me was the sound. Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but unfortunately her voice didn't come through clearly. I could have dealt with all the other things if it was a fantastic audio experience, but I am very very sad to say it wasn't. Beyoncé was amazing of course, but somehow the entire experience is more a negative. I can't even believe I am saying this as I was really excited and convinced I was gonna have a great time, as it's B, she is a perfectionist, sound can't go wrong. It did, I'm sorry. Maybe next time will be better.
I really love Beyoncé so this was honestly the best night of my entire life. My friend and I were lucky enough and got there early enough to be in the second row in Gold Circle 1 so we were really close. I am quite short so I struggled to see her on the main stage but the 'Monolith' was massive so I could watch her and the visuals on that. She did spend quite a bit of time on the second stage and the runway which was quite disappointing but we could watch the whole thing on the 'Monolith' so that was okay. Amazing band, amazing dancers, amazing crew, amazing visuals - so many talented people made this show what it was. Overall, it was honestly an amazing show, she is such a talented performer and I would definitely pay that to see her again - hopefully soon! 10/10
The On The Run 2 tour was amazing with great performances by Beyoncé and Jay-Z. There were obviously large queues to get in early on and the standing pitch was very busy (unsupisingly). However, although Beyoncé’s performance was incredible and full of energy and voice of an angel, Jay-Z had a completely different vibe. I felt that their music did compliment eachother but Jay-Z’s performance didn’t seem as energetic or engaging as Beyoncé. I was hoping to hear a lot of Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ album but unfortunately only 2-3 songs came up from that album. Their collaborative songs were very good I.e Crazy in love, Drunk in love and Deja Vu. In the whole, I had a great experience and though Beyoncé was amazing and proved herself of being Queen B!
A very EPIC show!!! The opening act were pretty good and they managed not to lose my interest. The seating was amazing! We were right near the stage. The seats that they give are kind of uncomfortable though. The Mercedes Benz Stadium is a very nice venue with friendly vendors and staff. Traffic wasn’t too bad as long as you know how to get around the main crowd. Jay Z and Beyoncé put on a SHOW!!! The vibes that you get when at a Beyoncé concert is always great. I would highly recommend anyone who appreciates music, good dancing, a performance, and loves Beyoncé should definitely see Beyoncé in concert at least once in their lifetime. Wonderful show and can’t wait for her to come back out!

Rumours are swirling that the iconic singer could bring her Renaissance tour to our shores later this year. By Dani Maher
AFTER TOURING THE northern hemisphere in 2023 with her Renaissance World Tour and more recently, dropping Renaissance Act II , AKA Cowboy Carter , could Beyoncé finally be touring Australia again?
The Houston-born singer last visited Australia over 10 years ago, leaving fans itching to see her perform again on our shores — and though she didn’t bring the 2023 Renaissance World Tour Down Under , there’s now renewed hopes that 2024 could be the year she makes what’s sure to be a triumphant return.
Read on for everything we know so far about whether or not Beyoncé is coming to Australia in 2024.

Beyoncé hasn’t made any announcements or hints as to any tour dates in 2024, but rumours have begun to swirl that she may be in the process of booking dates at certain local stadiums.
Speculation of a local Renaissance tour began back in 2023, when Beyoncé announced the World Tour with dates across North America, Canada, Europe and the UK. However, the singer never announced additional Asia-Pacific dates, wrapping up the tour as planned in Kansas City on October 1, 2023.
But now, a host on a Melbourne radio station reportedly received a tip from a person who “works in the major events space” that has renewed hopes of a new tour following the release of Cowboy Carter in March 2024.
“I work in the major events space and the word on the street is that Beyoncé is coming to town later this year,” the message read. “We all know the concerts at the MCG work… Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift. It’s been the biggest shows of their careers,” the announcer continued.
It’s true that Swift performed her largest-ever concerts in Melbourne’s MCG earlier this year , with each of the three consecutive dates attended by a record 96,000 people — or 288,000 in total. If Beyoncé were to tour Australia and make a stop in Melbourne, it’s almost certain she’d opt for that history-making venue. Meanwhile, if she were to stop in Sydney, it’s likely that Accor Stadium would play host, as it did for Swift.

Is Beyoncé bringing the Renaissance World Tour to Australia?
If Beyoncé does announce Australian tour dates for 2024, it’s unclear just yet whether she’ll be bringing the Renaissance World Tour as it was performed in 2023 — or if she’ll be switching things up with a ‘Renaissance Act II’ or even a ‘Cowboy Carter’ World Tour. Only time will tell, it seems.
More to come.

Beyoncé returned to the stage for first time in four years in January
Last month, Beyoncé made her return to the stage and performed at the opening of the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai. Despite the luxury experience, the singer left fans wanting more, as she did not perform any songs from "Renaissance," The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The invitation-only event marked her first concert in more than four years. She last performed at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event in 2018.
Beyoncé dominates Grammy nominations
The singer's tour announcement comes days ahead of the Grammys where Beyoncé leads the 2023 lineup with nine nominations, including best dance/electronic album ("Renaissance"), best R&B performance ("Virgo’s Groove") and best traditional R&B performance ("Plastic Off the Sofa").
With 28 wins and 88 total career nominations, Beyoncé now ties her husband, rapper Jay-Z , for the most nominations in Grammy history. If Beyoncé picks up four or more awards this year, she will surpass the late Georg Solti for the most Grammy wins of all time. (The Hungarian-born conductor holds the record with 31.)

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have got "to be the most intense power couple in the history of music," Recording Academy president Harvey Mason Jr. Mason said after the nominations were revealed. "That’s music and Grammy royalty – that’s the royal family."
Their combined 176 nominations are "absolutely a testament to their talent, to their level of excellence, to their work ethic, to their level of greatness over a long period of time. I don’t even know what the next (leading) couple would be, but it’s not anywhere close.”
Beyoncé's 'Break My Soul.' Taylor Swift's 'Anti-Hero.' These are the 10 best songs of 2022, ranked.
Beyoncé noticeably was not nominated in any of the music video categories for the Grammys, having not released any album visuals for "Renaissance" since its debut.

The announcement photo may look familiar to fans, as she donned the same glittery attire on the cover of her seventh studio album. Bey also added “Renaissance World Tour” on her Instagram bio, further accenting the news. Last week, Beyonce performed a full concert for the first time in four years at a luxury resort in Dubai in front of influencers and journalists. The 19-song set included a collaboration with her oldest daughter Blue Ivy as the two performed “Brown Skin Girl,” which earned them a Grammy two years ago for best music video.
Crowned a triumphant win by music lovers, Renaissance stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year and rattled off two Hot 100 top 10 hits, including her chart-topper “Break My Soul.” The dance-centric album also notched nine Grammy nominations, the most for any nominee for this year’s ceremony. Bey is looking to rack up more trophy wins, as she currently sits at a staggering 28 wins. Nominated for album of the year, song, and record of the year, Bey is facing some stout competition , especially in the former. The R&B juggernaut will tango against Adele, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and more for album of the year. A win in this category would serve as Beyonce’s first. The 65th Grammy Awards will occur Sunday night in Los Angeles at 8 pm EST.

Kicking off in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10, the tour’s European leg includes two dates in London—a North American leg kicks off with two dates in Toronto, Ontario on July 8 and 9, respectively.
Swirling excitement for the Renaissance live experience has been at a high for almost six months now, since the July 29, 2022 release of the album drew profound acclaim from critics and fans alike (it was The A.V. ASIA Announces 'The Heat Of The Moment' July 2024 U.S. Tour
ASIA has announced "The Heat of The Moment Tour" , headlined by ASIA and also featuring FOCUS , Martin Turner (ex- WISHBONE ASH ) and CURVED AIR and MC'd by artist Roger Dean .
The trek will commence on July 3, 2024 and will incorporate 21 dates across the USA and Canada.
The tour has been masterminded by rock music keyboard legend and original ASIA member Geoff Downes ( BUGGLES , YES ).
"Asia" was the biggest selling album of 1982, No. 1 on Billboard for nine weeks and pioneers of the MTV era. Downes 's brand new iteration of ASIA first began to evolve last summer at the concert held in memory of late lead singer, songwriter and bassist John Wetton ( KING CRIMSON , ROXY MUSIC , URIAH HEEP , WISHBONE ASH , UK , ASIA , JOHN WETTON BAND , ICON ). Downes invited old friend John Mitchell ( IT BITES , FROST, LONELY ROBOT , KINO , JOHN WETTON BAND , ICON ) and newcomer Harry Whitley to join him on stage to celebrate Wetton 's life by performing some of the classic ASIA hits. Such was the uproarious reception to their set, that Downes wondered if something magical was beginning to take shape.
"And so it was that the John Wetton tribute last August really reminded me how much ASIA 's music belongs on the stage," Geoff said. "The response to it all was literally…spine-tingling."
Downes 's new-look ASIA will once again feature Mitchell on guitars and Whitley on lead vocal and bass. The quartet will be made complete by the addition of Virgil Donati ( UK , SOUTHERN SONS , STEVE VAI , ALLAN HOLDSWORTH ) on drums.
Downes continues: "With the addition of Virgil Donati and John Mitchell , two of the finest musicians in the world in their respective classes, this is almost going full circle bearing in mind their previous close collaborations with John W . Completing this circle is also the amazing Harry Whitley who absolutely floored the audience with his incredible vocal interpretation of the ASIA songs that John W and I so lovingly wrote over the years."
The tour will also feature sets from other classic acts FOCUS , Turner and CURVED AIR . All three support acts boast their founder bandleaders and have deservedly attained the status of legend.
FOCUS will release a brand new studio album later in 2024. Led by the indomitable Sir Thijs Van Leer , it features original 1970s drummer Pierre Van Der Linden , plus the virtuoso talents of Menno Gootjes on guitar and Udo Pannekeet on bass.
Martin Turner was lead vocalist, bassist, founding member and creative force behind 1970s rock music behemoth WISHBONE ASH , best known for such classic albums as "Argus" and "Pilgrimage" .
Formed in 1970, CURVED AIR are one of the founders of progressive rock and a retrospective collection of their most influential and ground-breaking material is currently in the planning stages. Sonja Kristina (vocals) and Kirby Gregory (guitar) will treat audiences to an acoustic set featuring some of the band's most memorable musical moments. They will be joined by violinist Grzegorz Gadziomski .
Each performance on the tour will be MC'd by legendary artist Roger Dean . For so many, Dean 's artwork is synonymous with the music of the time and stands to represent the very best of British rock music.
The final word goes to Geoff Downes : "I am convinced that John 's [ Wetton ] spirit is with us as we set out on this new adventure. After all, it is the Year Of The Dragon — just as it was in 1982, when we released our first ASIA album. It's as though it was meant to be. Looking forward to seeing you there, my friends — bring it on!”

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.
The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”
Popular on Variety
Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.
Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.
She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Bruce Springsteen Postpones European Tour Dates Citing ‘Vocal Issues’
- Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below
Bruce Springsteen postponed four European tour dates citing “vocal issues.”
The “Born In The USA” singer, 74, called off a show on Friday, May 24, in Marseille, France at the last minute, and Springsteen’s doctors later determined “that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” an announcement shared on Sunday, May 26, revealed. He postponed a May 28 show in Prague and two June concerts in Milan.
“New dates for these shows will be announced shortly,” Springsteen’s team shared via Instagram. “Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan.”
Prior to the postponement, Springsteen’s 2024 leg of his extensive world tour had been without incident. COVID-19 briefly took several members of his vaunted E Street Band off the touring roster in February of last year. Stevie Van Zandt , Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa and violinist Soozie Tyrell were all briefly sidelined with Stevie apologizing to fans on X .
Bruce Springsteen’s Family Guide: Details on The Boss’ Parents, Children and More
Springsteen himself was forced to postpone a significant chunk of his U.S. tour dates to recover from peptic ulcer disease in late 2023. The painful ulcers hindered Springsteen’s ability to sing from his diaphragm and the rock and roll legend briefly worried that he’d never be able to perform again .
“My diaphragm was hurting so badly that when I went to make the effort to sing, it was killing me, you know?” a recovered Springsteen told SiriusXM’s E Street Radio . “So, I literally couldn’t sing at all, you know, and that lasted for two or three months, along with just a myriad of other painful problems.”
“You know, you’re thinking like, ‘Hey, am I gonna sing again?’ and you know, this is one of the things I love to do the best, the most, and right now I can’t do it,” he added. “You know, I can’t do it, and it took a while for the doctors to say, ‘Oh no. You’re gonna be OK.’ At first, nobody was quite saying that, which made me nervous.”

Springsteen said his doctors “straightened [him] out” and he was able to make up those dates earlier this year before beginning the European leg of his tour.
Springsteen’s team will honor the already-purchased tickets at the rescheduled shows, but anyone who wants a refund can seek them at their point of purchase.

Bring everyone to the dance floor, Renaissance —which Bandwagon selected as one of their Top EPs/Albums of 2022 —comes as Beyoncé's celebration of club music and the lively and blithe spirit that comes along with it. Meant to "inspire you to release the wiggle", the pop icon shared that the album allowed her to create a freeing and safe space, something she hopes she can do for her fans.
