An hour outside of Cape Town, guests can look forward to hours of fun Zipping through the World Heritage Site of the Hottentots Holland Mountains!Cape Canopy Tour is a fully guided nature experience with a strong emphasis on client comfort and safety. Two trained guides will accompany each group on the 4 hour tour.The tour includes a scenic 4x4 trip, 13 elevated platforms, a suspension bridge above a waterfall and slides over 330m long!It includes a light meal on the decks of our Sunbird Caf.

Guests will arrive at base camp where they check in at our reception and then move into our briefing room to begin their safety briefing. Guests are then equipped with full body harnesses, helmets and gear for their tour. The tour starts with a stunning 30min 4x4 drive through the Nature Reserve. Two trained guides will accompany each group on the 4 hour tour, they will provide information about the endemic fynbos and geology of this unique World Heritage Site. Guests will enjoyeleven thrilling slides, some over 300m long, each ending on a platform constructed on the cliffs above the Riviersonderend Gorge. A unique suspension bridge between a narrow sandstone ravine high above a spectacular double waterfall is guaranteed to be one of the unforgettable highlights of the tour. After the slides, there is 1km, relatively steep, hike back up to the 4x4 vehicles which will take guests down to base camp again. Guests are welcomed back with a complimentary meal, which consists of a freshly baked home-made pie served with salads.

Cape Canopy Tour is suitable for almost all ages (5 75 years is the recommended limit) and will operate in most weather conditions (rain gear will beprovided).
