Last month, Imagine Dragons teamed up with J.I.D, a GRAMMY-nominated, East Atlanta-based rapper signed to J. Cole’s Interscope Records venture, Dreamville Records, on the epic, electrifying new single “Enemy.” The song examines living with conflict – both internal and external – with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds delivering the first two bristling, emotional verses, and J.I.D’s trademark lightning-fast flow spotlighted on the third.

​​With 49 million albums and 55 million songs sold globally, as well as 75 billion combined streams, Imagine Dragons remains one of the best-selling rock bands, reinventing the genre with their enormous breakout success across the 2010s. Billboard’s Top 3 rock songs of the decade belonged to the band – “Believer,” “Thunder” and “Radioactive.” Formed in 2009, Imagine Dragons developed a grassroots following with a series of independently released EPs before making their major label debut on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope with the 2012 EP Continued Silence. Night Visions, their 2012 full-length debut, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2 and the lead-off track “Radioactive” topped Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart, won a GRAMMY for Best Rock Performance, and achieved RIAA Diamond status. 2015’s Smoke + Mirrors debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. EVOLVE, which followed in 2017, earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album and unleashed three No. 1 Alternative radio hits: “Believer,” the GRAMMY-nominated “Thunder” and “Whatever It Takes.” All three songs were also top 5 hits at Top 40 radio, with “Thunder” rising to the No. 1 spot. The band’s fourth album, ORIGINS, debuted atop Billboard’s Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts and lead single "Natural" spent nine weeks at No. 1 at alternative radio and set the current record for all-time “most spins in a week” at the format.

Their highly anticipated fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 was released on September 3, 2021. Teaming up with esteemed producer Rick Rubin and with its title drawing inspiration from the word “mercurial,” Mercury – Act 1 is a candid album that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back. It marks the band’s first album since 2018’s ORIGINS .

“Follow You” and “Cutthroat” were the first glimpses into the new record, released simultaneously in March 2021, with the former hitting No. 1 at alternative radio and Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, marking the band’s quickest ascent to the top of those charts. The album’s current single, “Wrecked,” is a confessional exploration of grief, written by lead vocalist Dan Reynolds after losing his sister-in-law to cancer in 2019.

Imagine Dragons will host in-flight concert to Atlanta on Southwest Airlines

Maybe you’ve seen Imagine Dragons before in concert – but have you done it at 35,000 feet?

The band is taking its music to the skies for a promotion with Southwest Airlines that includes performances from the band in four cities that are meaningful to its history: Los Angeles on Feb. 20, Salt Lake City on Feb. 21, and Las Vegas on Feb. 23 and Atlanta on Feb. 25.

The Atlanta show will be preceded by a “Live at 35” inflight concert by the band as they travel from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Beginning Feb. 3, Southwest will launch a sweepstakes that will give one winner and three friends a four-day Imagine Dragons “experience” including travel to Las Vegas to attend the Imagine Dragons concert; prime seating on Southwest’s Ultimate Destination Dragons Flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta with the “Live at 35” show; VIP seating at the Atlanta Imagine Dragons concert; and a meet-and-greet with the band.

Imagine Dragons is based in Las Vegas, home to frontman Dan Reynolds, but drummer Daniel Platzman is an Atlanta native who attended Paideia High School. Guitarist Wayne Sermon hails from Utah and bassist Ben McKee from California, attributing to the other stops on the tour.

Imagine Dragons releases its new album, “Smoke + Mirrors” on Feb. 17. The follow-up to the band’s multi-platinum breakthrough, “Night Visions,” which spawned the ubiquitous radio hits “Radioactive,” “It’s Time” and Demons,” has already dented the charts with the chant-along “I Bet My Life.”

Passengers on Southwest Airlines’ Wi-Fi-enabled flights will be able to hear the album for free on the Southwest Entertainment Portal.

The concert was really great. Every members of the band had SO much energy that they shared with the public. Dan Reynolds made a speech on the LGBT youth at some point during the concert and that was great, he spoke with his heart and the public gave this love back. The light were blowing our minds and they were at their best during the whole concert.

At some point, there only were instumentals and the singer (Dan Reynolds) lied down on the ground and started doing yoga, which was pretty funny.

In the middle of the concert, they went on the second stage (smaller and in the middle of the room) so everyone could see them.

They ended the concert with the first song we have (my sisters and I) discovered them with six years ago.

I truly encourage people to go to their concert because they are one of the most fantastic band of the 21th century.

PS: if I can share an advise, if you really want to bring a goodie home, buy it BEFORE the concert. At the end, there are a lot of people and, I guess, less choice (we bought it before the concert so we had all the pleasure and time to choose what we wanted)

I’ve been listening to the group since so long, and the first song I heard from them was Radioactive, which everyone knows I’m sure of it. The concert run an hour late, but nobody was complaining and they started with I don’t know why, which immediately put everybody in the mood. There was many generations mixed, and all the adults around me didn’t really knew imagine dragons, weren’t really sure if they were going to like it, and were really surprised to see they were just loving the concert. The group was playing and singing at the perfection, all of them was contributing to the making of each songs, and there was such a good atmosphere it was really incredible. Dan Reynolds (the lead singer) talked really often to the crowd during the show and also took a moment to raise awareness about LGBT youth, which was a really touching moment. Their energy, their complicity with each other, everything was perfect, and the last song, radioactive, there so well known hit, just ended the concert with a great energy. I loved it, probably one of the best concert I’ve ever been. Imagine dragons is not like many artists who just come on stage, say hi, sing ( either in playback, or wrong), don’t interact with the crowd, and get out of stage without a thank you. Imagine dragons talked to us so many times it was really pleasant, I’ve never seen a group or an artist take the time to say something relevant, they even went into the crowd during the show, to the back of the concert hall so people in the back could see them at least for 3 songs. It was perfect, and I sure will go to their next concert, because seeing Imagine dragons in live, is just magic and unforgettable.

This was the first concert that we took our two children to (ages 10 and 12) and they had a great time! The venue (Shoreline Amphitheater) was fantastic and we enjoyed our view from the lawn.

The opening bands were engaging and certainly warmed up the crowd! When Imagine Dragons appeared, our kids were really excited and ready for a "full concert experience"! Imagine Dragons did not disappoint! They played all the popular songs as well as some older ones. They even changed stages halfway through the concert which was a great bonus! The band definitely knew how to keep the crowd engaged from asking us to sing along to "Yesterday" and even releasing large balloons for the crowd to bat around throughout the second half of the concert.

Their final few songs, which included Radioactive, were absolutely brilliant! They had so much energy at the end it was infectious! Their extended drumming section in Radioactive was awesome! They ended with two songs instead of a typical walk off and then come back for an encore. Their final song, Believer, was a rocking anthem that had us all walking away singing at the end of the concert. Overall, it was a great first concert for my kids and a great reminder of why live music matters so much!

Imagine Dragons adds summer shows to 'Mercury World Tour'. Special hometown show at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, September 10, 2022. 

Multi-platinum GRAMMY award-winning rock band Imagine Dragons have announced 20 new shows on their massive Mercury World Tour.  Produced by Live Nation, the summer North American tour celebrates the release of their latest album,  Mercury – Act 1  (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) and will make a stop in their hometown of Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. Joined by special guests Macklemore and Kings Elliot, this tour will mark the band’s biggest North American shows of their career to date.

General tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. PT on  Ticketmaster.com . Allegiant Stadium and Live Nation customers will have access to a presale beginning Thursday, March 31 at 10 a.m. PT.

Imagine Dragons Announce Loom North American Tour in 2024

I t’s a big day for Imagine Dragons fans! The pop-rock legends are kicking off a tour of the US and Canada this summer in promotion of their upcoming album Loom , out June 28. No supporting acts have been announced for the tour. The band has been a bit mum about the entirety of the tour and where they will be headed, but they have announced the North American tour dates for what will likely become a world tour. Stay tuned for more info!

The Imagine Dragons 2024 Tour will launch on July 30 in Camden, New Jersey at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. Pending extra tour date additions, the tour should close on October 22 in Los Angeles, California at Hollywood Bowl.

Fans can sign up for the tour presale (as well as VIP tickets) through Imagine Dragons’ website . The artist presale, plus a number of other presale events, will begin on April 23 and 24 at 10:00 am local via Ticketmaster .

Public on-sale starts on Friday, April 26 at 10:00 am local. This tour is going to sell out lightning-fast, so if your tour date sells out during the presale events, try Stubhub. Imagine Dragons announce new album, summer 2024 tour with Massachusetts stop

It’s time — one of the biggest bands in the world is going on tour this summer with a scheduled stop in Massachusetts.

Imagine Dragons will tour across North America in support of the band’s upcoming album “Loom,” which will be released on June 28. Fans looking to purchase tickets can do so by using reliable third-party ticket vendors such as StubHub and VividSeats .

“Working on this record was a rollercoaster,” Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds said about the album on Instagram Monday. “The beauty of songwriting is that it has always simply been my journal. It has documented decades of my journey through this strange life. And I’ve been lucky enough to create it with my best friends in a band and have you share it with us.”

“Loom” is the band’s sixth studio album, and follows the Dragons’ 2022 effort “Mercury.” The new album’s first single, “Eyes Closed,” was released earlier this month .

In support of the new album, the Dragons will embark on the “ Loom World Tour ” starting June 30 in Camden, New Jersey at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion and ending Oct. 22 at the Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles, California.

The Dragons will be playing at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Aug. 6. As of Wednesday, April 24 the cheapest tickets for that show are $65 on StubHub and $65 on VividSeats.

In addition to selling more than 74 million albums and 65 million digital songs sold worldwide, the Dragons have earned 160 billion streams across music platforms.
